Great location Easy checkin and communication done via texting which is very easy for me. Modern Basic Functional Good Value

First timers

The room was great. Communication with the propery staff was great. Other than the very heavy footed people above us that didnt seem to sleep and the inconsiderate people who seemed like they smoked a pound of weed in the parking area that made its way up to the room. It was great. Hot tub was good rooms were clean and perfect for a couple wanting to get away. Parking lot was alittle tight for a 1/2 ton.

We enjoyed the location downtown and the newness of the property. The bed was quite comfortable and our kiddo found the hide-a-bed “more comfortable than most”. There wasn’t bedding for the hide-a-bed and the bedroom door didn’t latch because the latch plate was put on upside down. Fortunately, we helped ourselves to bedding - the linen room was open - and kept the bedroom door shut with the broom provided and a shoe! I’m sure we’re not the first ones to notice the latch problem, which is disappointing when you want some privacy between the bedroom and living area/children’s sleeping space.

Great location and very cute hotel room. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was a really nice touch!

The property is new, clean and nicely finished. We arrived after hours and it was difficult to reach anyone to sort out an access code as it was not emailed in advance and there is no front desk that is staffed. We booked the property to take advantage of the hot tub, and it was not open during the posted hours on Saturday morning of a long weekend. Even after 2 calls to the virtual front desk promising a follow up, no follow up was received. Disappointing.

The hot tub was really nice, we enjoyed using it every day we were there! It’s an easy drive to banff from Canmore (about 20-25mins). The suite has all the basics you need, salt/pepper, olive oil spray, pots/pans/dishes. The bathtub was a nice deep soaking tub, and the provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash all smelled amazing. The bed is a bit small, I think it’s a full or maybe a queen. The pull out couch was nice to use while watching tv. It was bigger than the bed.

Easy check in. Excellent communication

Very clean and nice space. Spacious, king bed was quite nice to sleep in. The kitchen had everything we needed, including pots, cups, bowls and utensils. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap and lotion was very nice quality and great to use.

The property has everything that you may need to do your experience unique

there was another tourist family was rude, they were just passing by the street, at the backside of hotel inn due to lack of parking space they thought we were trying to take their spot., they even called the police and made story that we hit the front of the car parked behind us while reversing. Police proved that we did not do anything to the other car. It was a terrible experience

Lovely, Clean Resort.

The property is clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Communication with the front is convenient via text. They informed us in advance, but it was still unfortunate to find the hot tub closed, and the washer in our unit was out of order for winter season trip. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for a family trip.

Great space and value

We were very happy with our night at base camp! The amenities were so nice we wished we were staying another night. We will definitely be back.

Place was clean. Communication was quick. However the tv had weak connection and we couldn’t watch tv at all our whole stay cause internet wasn’t working. Also the soundproofing is horrible the guests underneath us were partying very loud and music was loud until 430am. We barely slept.

Great location, walking distance to downtown Canmore, great amenities in room, comfortable beds. Hot tub was broken unfortunately - which we planned to be a big part of our stay so that was disappointing.

The beds were dirty and suspicious of having bed bugs. When we complained and asked to change rooms customer service was poor.

The one bedroom apartment was exactly what we wanted for our mid-week getaway. We enjoyed a few hikes in the area and it was nice to come back to a comfortable home base. The only really disappointing thing about our stay was that the hot tub was broken and although we were told they were working on fixing it- it didn’t look like anyone was working on it. We booked this place based on looking forward to the hot tub after our hikes but it didn’t open during our stay. Other than that we loved the location and the room was perfect for us.

Everything was easy! Check in was great- clean and comfortable beds.

Good experience overall, however, hot tub was closed when we visited which was a bummer. One main reason why we chose this place.

Our only complaint is the hot tub not working

The property I thought I booked was changed and it was too late to cancel! On arrival we were given a micro then found out the hot tub was out of use! I had 1 night it was my birthday! I looked and there was no mention of the hot tub being out of use! It was the one I choose out of several options for the hot tub! Spent hours wasted hours trying to figure out what to do! After several hours into the evening we were relocated to the sister lodge

A Home Away From Home in Canmore Our recent stay at Basecamp Suites in Canmore was truly exceptional. The 3-bedroom apartment felt like a cozy home away from home, complete with clean, modern rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a stunning hot tub overlooking the Three Sisters. We've stayed at Basecamp properties before, and this one didn't disappoint. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to downtown Canmore. The only minor drawback is limited parking, especially during peak season. However, the convenience and comfort of the accommodations far outweigh this small inconvenience. If you're planning a group trip to Canmore, Banff, or Kananaskis, I highly recommend checking out Basecamp Suites. It offers great value, especially considering the peak season rates.

We loved our one bedroom apartment! It was spotless, modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect too. We had a minor issue with the pull out sofa bed that was resolved easily. Check in was smooth and the front desk was responsive by text with any questions we had. The reason for the four star rating is because the hot tub was closed for our entire stay and we were disappointed about that. It was one of the reasons we chose this property. Overall we love Basecamp properties and would definitely stay here again.

Terrible experience

Hot tub is closed as always. Thought it was a townhouse, but only an apartment of 3 bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean, the unit had every detail of your stay thought-through and right downtown Canmore. We will return.

The room and property itself is very nice however the hot tub was broken for the duration of my stay. I received no information from the property prior to my check in and I believe that was done on purpose. When questioned the property stated they had no estimated date for reopening and offered access at another property ( several blocks away). In their communication they also made it clear they would not offer discounts or cancellations due to this. I don’t think the property was upfront and should have provided this information to guests PRIOR to their arrival as I would have cancelled and found a different property that had a functioning hot tub. If the hot tub is important to you I’d highly suggest contacting them prior to your arrival to ensure it is functioning.

It was such a well thought out space for a group! It was clean, comfy beds, and a lovely apartment! Everything you needed, except a working hot tub, which was too bad, but it happens!

TV didn’t work and the hot tub was closed. Had to go to a neighbouring resort to use their hot tub. Not ideal.

Great use of space. Simple check in process

We liked the accommodation at basecamp. The only slight inconvenience is no parking for the second car, for a unit with three bed rooms.

Our 3rd floor unit was great! Clean and comfortable, mountain views, easy access to hot tub! Lots of restaurants and local shops near by.

It was close to the airport and easy to get to Banff. It was even better because everything was well-equipped like my own home, so I could even do laundry. Jasper hotel was closed so I had to change my schedule suddenly and had to stay an extra day. I was so grateful that they let me stay without changing rooms.

I would highly recommend this property! It was right in the heart of canmore with so many restaurants, shops and transportation within a walking distance. This property was in THE perfect location to explore. The suite itself was so spacious, clean and verg comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Convenient, nice location. Parking is available. The unit was clean but the comforter for sofa bed was filthy. Overall, it was good enough for 1 night stay for a family. I would recommend.

Had a truck in my assigned space that I had to track down. Turned out to be some maintenance people doing work here.

When I booked I thought I booked for Lamphouse by Basecamp but I accidentally booked Basecamp Suites Canmore (my fault). When I got to the booking desk I realized I booked for wrong hotel. Then we were informed that we have to park on street and pay after 8pm or we can park at Lamphouse By Basecamp. Not being near your vehicle while travelling wasn’t very accommodating with your luggage and the accessibility from back and forth was frustrating. So for that reason I would not book Basecamp Suites in the future. Other than that, it was a great stay. It’s quiet, around lots of stores and restaurants.

I traveled with 6 adults and two children under 4 years old. I rented a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. The location is exceptional; you’re in the heart of Canmore and can explore it on foot. Access to the place and parking were straightforward. However, the hot tub was not working, and I also had issues with the dishwasher. The maintenance team resolved the problem in a reasonably good amount of time. I believe the photos do not fully reflect the product you receive.

Property was clean and have all the necessary equipment for daily use. Check-in was quite easy. The only thing I didn’t like they closed the hot tub and they don’t have any refund policy for that. It’s good but not worth it for the money they charged. Quiet expensive.

Find better this place is not worth it

The description of the room was very deceiving made it look and sound like we were getting an entire condo/apt we walk in it's smaller than a bedroom, no room to walk around, they advertised they had a hot tub only to tell me it was not working after booking was complete, over priced , terrible customer service wouldn't refund me

The suite was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom faucet should be replaced as it sprayed water all over the place everytime we used it. We stayed in the micro suite which had no parking - this was a big inconvenience, especially when there were so many empty parking spaces that could have been offered to us.

Great location, clean property, very organized kitchen...every essentials they give.

We’ve stayed at other Basecamp properties and enjoyed them. We booked the micro suite which is modern and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The micro suite didn’t include parking which wasn’t clearly communicated during booking, but paying for street parking wasn’t a big deal. The bathroom was new but not super clean. There was some kind of liquid splash marks on the wall beside the toilet and a smear of something on the wall beside the sink. I messaged the front desk and they promised to take care of it. We left for dinner and came back several hours later and the bathroom looked the same. They did tell me that they had taken care of it, so I ended up cleaning it myself. Bed and bedding was clean and very comfortable.

Had a great stay at Basecamp Suites! I just wish that the hot tub would stay open longer than 10pm but I totally recommend this accommodation! Would stay here again!

Overall stay was good but water problem occurs that day. There's a smell in the room that we can't figured it out what it was.

Great spot downtown Canmore

The hotel is well located and the suite was very spacious but it is not soundproof so neighbours above you are very disturbing specially if they have children!

unfortunately, my experience was less than ideal. The suite was quite noisy, and the guests in the adjacent suites doing laundry at midnight made it difficult to fall asleep. Additionally, the parking spot was tiny and challenging to use. I hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.

We booked this room wich is really nice and super clean, the only problem was , suppost to be have a queen bed and the base it is queen and matress is just double size wich its to small for us, I contacted them by email but no answer yet

The property was lovely, the staff that we spoke to were fantastic, and they really try to make you stay at easy and chilled as possible. There was however a constant hum of a generator, or something throughout the night.

Very nice property with mountain view while enjoying the hot tub. Perfect for family vacations. Only downside is the tight parking spots.

All about Base Camp is perfect place to stay with family for vacation

Stayed with a friend in May. The room was comfortable with nice decor. The hot tub was also enjoyed. We stayed on the top floor and had a nice view. That was the trade off for hauling our luggage up the stairs but worth it in my opinion.

Great place to stay, especially if your in a group and want your own room. It was pretty much in downtown Canmore and whenever I called the lodge they were super accommodating and helped us with our luggage. Super clean and very nice for the price.

Love the place we booked. Quiet and very clean. Best are the beds. Amazingly clean and very comfort. Great place for the family trip. All cook wares. Master bed room shower need improve. Water splashes out like crazy wonder who s idea to make it like that. Lights bulbs burnt 4 out of 6 on dinning table. Red more mirrors. Overall we really love this place. My son didn’t want to wake up. I really want to stay few more nights. We will come back next time

Awesome. Master has bathroom in the room. One other full bathroom for the 2 other bedrooms. Parking and check in was easy. Super clean apartment with really comfortable beds and pillows. Really enjoyed our stay.
