Overall very good resort
Excellent overall sports resort. Minor points included gym -big but only a couple of benches. Pool area for Royal level was nice but crowded. All the pods were occupied all day by mostly just towels so not much wind break. Yoga was good though and the restaurant food was of high quality throughout our stay.
Short break
A short but pleasant stay. I booked the Royal level but was a bit disappointed my room was not in the Royal section but the main block. The lifts were noisy. The staff were friendly, the food decent and overall it was good value for money.
Loved being at the Royal Level all inclusive. Perfect time with the family
Tooooooo noicy!!!!! Never again. Toilet broken.fridge not working..,
Great hotel but they need to look at the small details to be an exceptional hotel. We had problems with sliding wardrobe doors not working, body lotion dispenser not working, tea and coffee drawer jammed amd hotel bar light flickering , which as was explained to staff could cause an epileptic fit in someone. Choice of food was excellent in both royal level and standard although sometimes the temperature of food was lukewarm. The quality of room in royal level is excellent bar the snags. Public toilets sometimes had no toulet paper
Lovely huge resort with lots of activities for all ages. Comfortable beds and pillows and lovely food at the buffet each night. We used the kids ckub which was also great.
The pools are lovely. The Asana restaurant is great. The people and service is excellent.
Royal Level Experience
Barcalo Royal Level was a great resort - the room was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. THe main hotel areas are very clean and neatly laid out. The communal toilets near restaurant and pool need some repairs, but every other common area was very nice. The restaurants are so good, the amount of food was amazing and the variety was A LOT! I used the Royal Level restaurant for breakfasts as the chefs making the omelettes, pancakes, bagels, french toast, eggs were better than other restaurants. Other meals I used the bigger buffet restaurants which had more choice. I would recommend the resort it lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Some reviews I read before questions the need for Royal Level booking - but I found it near faultless. I would've liked the Olympic Pool to be included (maybe 2 bookings per trip) but I used the main pools which were really good. The cocktails and access to soft drinks & beer were really good.
The royal level infinity pool area was epic, room was ace, food was perfecto, salmon and steak every day. Gym too. Would stay again
Really disappointed with this resort. I’ve done a lot of all inclusives across lanzarote and this is by far the worst I have been to. The food here is absolutely revolting, we really struggled to find things to eat for most of the week. Nothing is fresh, everything is poor quality. Entertainment is non existent, definitely not worth paying more for royal level. Not enough loungers at the royal pool, resulting in sunbed wars every day with people queuing. Staff mostly don’t speak English. Drinks are also poor, frequently served flat coke as the gas runs out in all of the dispensers and they never replace it even after flagging. Coffee is terrible. Honestly, don’t bother with this resort. There’s nothing worthwhile doing on site and the beach nearby is nothing but rocks.
Went with 4 friends for a relaxing weekend and had a wonderful time
Just stunning had an amazing experience
Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in
The royal level didn’t really feel like an exclusive area got told it was adults only but kids all around the pool area which was surprising because it was meant to be adults only. not much variety of food in the buffet was also sick on the first night after eating the food therefore had to go out most nights because we were scared to eat the food due to how bad we felt after the first night. but apart from that the room was lovely and staff were very nice.
It was my second time and I was not disappointed. Staff amazing, hotel great location - cannot fault it
I would recommend this hotel, we stayed in the royal level, cannot fault this resort, the food was amazing and the staff always helpful and friendly.
Love it
Swimming pool with ocean view
Lovely hotel Not much around it though unless you really like walking! Give the Italian restaurant a miss, it was embarrassingly awful!! The main buffet restaurants were excellent with a lot of variety and tasty food Facilities were excellent, staff weren’t overly friendly but always very helpful
Rude staff
Overall trip was ok but girl at reception was so rude don’t know how to talk even
Loved it.
Another great stay here. Large, clean rooms and great service from staff. A really lovely place to relax
Brilliant stay.
Brilliant stay. Cannot fault anything
Property lovely but nearby areas like a moonscape not a pretty resort but that didn’t matter hotel more than made up for it
Great hotel
We really enjoyed this hotel, staff were very friendly, faciilities were great, gym was well equipped for a hotel gym. The only slight fault I have is that in restaurant on Royal Level some of the food was cold, in particular the chips when kept out under the food warmer. However the food choices were great.
The place is very nice plce and very clean, the food in the restaurant needs to be kept warm, breakfast cold , dinner cold, if you go to the restaurant after 20.00 not much left and seem to be to much trouble cook steak if you wanted one,but over all nice plce
Great hotel for active holiday
We stayed here in February. The staff were all very friendly and made a special effort to change our room when there was an issue with the bathroom drains smelling. We moved rooms and it was a little better but still there. Overall I’d say a great hotel if you want to be active and slightly out of the main touristy bits. We easily hired bikes and a car, snorkelled in the little bay outside the hotel and enjoyed the pools. The food was ok - not going to win any awards but also was very varied so there was definitely always something to like. Breakfast was the better than the dinner. It had a relaxed feel, peaceful and a lovely view of the sea. The gym and Olympic pool are great. The lobby area was really nice for a drink and good to have such a big indoor communal space. Our room was very spacious but a few little bits were falling to pieces but overall fine. The beds are comfy and linen is good quality. The issue is that the drains smell but that is possibly an issue with the island more generally and it was my first time in Lanzarote.
amazing stay. surprised me how, even thought the hotel was full, how much space there was everywhere. Very impressed. will go back again for sure
Although the place is a bit used, it is expected in a destination so popular with tourists. It is not in town but there is a bike rental shop attached to it. It is only a short ride to Costa Teguise town. Great cycling & walking paths along the coastline. Very convenient with a supermarket inside. There is a door leading to a little quiet bay/beach. I paid a little extra for breakfast and dinner during the stay, the food is quite good.
At first glance the hotel looks really nice the room I was given had a great view but the last night I couldn’t sleep as the air con was leaking water and there was a puddle forming so I put down some towels. Affected my sleep Their customer service could be better except for Nancy who seemed really genuine ( and Chilean might receptionists)the rest were very mechanical in their customer service and would not go the extra mile. I don’t think this hotel is good for black folks
It was a fabulous hotel. We had a great time. The hotel was spotless and up to date. Many pools to use and right in beach. We hired bikes from the shop attached to the hotel and explored the area. There is a local bus stops outside the hotel which takes you to all towns on the coast and into the mountains I would definitely recommend. We were half board and food was excellent
Exceeded expectations
We had a fantastic four night stay, the hotel exceeded expectations. Didn’t bother us that it was a little out of Costa Teguise as we really enjoyed the walk into town.
Staff brilliant
Barcelo Royal Level Lanzarote was a really awesome experience. The whole resort was fantastic, with excellent facilities, a lovely spacious heated outdoor pool, good food and drinks, attentive staff, etc. And the Royal Level section specifically was like a five star add-on - beautiful spacious rooms with balcony; excellent quality exclusive restaurant, pool bar and heated pools for Royal Level guests; great selection of branded drinks included with the All Inclusive for Royal Level guests. The cleanliness was outstanding, the service quick and pleasant, and the food was excellent too. Very excited to return ASAP!
Overall great experience.
I stayed for two nights at the Barcelo Lanzarote Royal Level, I had a fantastic room for the first night with a pool and sea view. Everything went smoothly, dinner and breakfast was delicious offering a great choice to suit all tastes. The staff were very helpful and efficient. For the second night, I was a bit disappointed as I missed the view and the balcony sunshine. Overall an excellent experience.
Nice property outside town.
We stayed at the Royal Level - our room was spacious but not at the price we paid (The price was because of the holidays). I like that it was not so crowed as other hotels we saw in the area - Lot of pools to choose from on the property. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast buffet. The food choice was numerous and fresh tasting. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a little far from the town, but it was ok with us as we like to walk and there is a nice path next to the beach to get there. Another option would be to take the bus #1 or #3 (1.40 euros) to go to town. Overall, a great stay and nice property. We only had breakfast included, which was fine as we were able to eat at local eateries and enjoy a variety of food in town.
Amazing stay!!
An amazing place! It is a large resort on the edge of Costa Teguise with physical activities at its heart. The service levels are high if you are ‘Royal Level’, which we were. If you don’t lead an active lifestyle, I’m not sure it’s for you…The main reason we chose this was the 50m Olympic pool, but also discovered amazing open water sea swimming on the door step. The food was amazing in the Asana restaurant and we were half board, but all inclusive looked very comprehensive too if you wanted to drink a lot. New Years Eve (our last night) was really special with free Cava and wine with dinner and a special sitting which included premium seafood and caviar! Such a lovely place, but I would suggest an upgrade to the Royal Level!! The only let down was the Champs bar. The food was terrible and the service poor…didn’t seem to be part of the hotel?
I liked this property however it is far from everything. We walked about 20 mins to the nearest restaurant. If you don't have tours planned liked we did, i would recommend getting the full board meal plan option. we had an ocean view and it was amazing. One caution is make sure you do not close the balcony door all the way or you will be locked out. It is not clear from the sign and the curtains that it will lock. Luckily we had our phone and we were able to call the front desk and they came right away to open it. It also happened to the guest next door he did not have a phone and luckily we were sitting outside and we were able to help. I would have given them 5 stars but the play music in the evening until about 10pm and if your room over sees the lobby atrium you will hear it as if the party is in your room. The good thing is that they end at 10. We had tours booked very early so if was a little annoying. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Excellent quality of amenities and fantastic service everywhere. I loved how easy it is to get everywhere!
Spread over 2 hotels with Road through the middle. Number of stairs without handrails
The hotel was excellent with friendly staff . The variety of food was excellent. We were in the Royal Level and for some reason there was no full length mirror anywhere. Not sure I would visit Costa Teguise again as it is not very picturesque and the town centre is nothing spectacular.
Overcrowded. Remote. Poor food quality. Like butlins in the sun.
The hotel is not as described. Very limited dining, all restaurants serve the same food. Bedrooms were clean but public areas were not. We had a later flight and we were told we could use the showers by the Olympic pool before we left, they were disgusting. The staff were very nice across all areas but they were under pressure, there wasn’t enough of them, anytime we had to go to reception we had minimum of 30 minutes to wait to speak to someone. It has huge potential but needs work.
Absolutely world class!
Amazing stay at Barcelo Lanzarote royal all inclusive. Very clean and modern and the food was amazing. The staff were efficient.
I had a great experience here would definitely recommend!
Luxury hotel, with great service, food and drinks. Would highly recommend for couples and families. 15 minute taxi transfer from airport. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. The largest, most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Modern, spacious rooms. I would definitely return.
We stayed at Barcelo Lanzarote royal lever for 4 nights for my husbands birthday. Our room was large and spacious with a living room area and mini bar A balcony area with comfy chairs were great with privacy Wonderful large queen bed and shower room The rooms were cleaned daily. The food was lovely and alcohol drinks were not watered down but the original sprits gin etc The staff were all very nice and helpful. Royal level had a separate pool area for the other hotel with pool bar toilets Great sun lounge. The water was too cold for me so did not go into the pool we booked a treatment for the spa which was nice The hotel is only 18 mins from airport. The all inclusive is worth the money for what u get and the choices of food and drink. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again. Thank you to everyone that made our stay enjoyable
All is excellent😊

Will go back!
Made our stay wonderful, the room and the service was top notch! The heated pool wasn't heated, but on the other hand the buffet restaurants had good choices.
