Had a great few days here! Great facilities and within easy reach of Costa Teguise and Arricefe via public transport. Bus stop was outside hotel with regular bus services!
Great resort, been a couple of times now and would continue to come back. Great facilities for sporty/active people and similarly for relaxing. Great selection of food, rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are great, plus great value for money. Would highly recommend!
We had a great experience at Lanzarote Barcelo Active Resort. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Close to airport and beaches. Big rooms. Good food options in buffet. Would have liked more vegetarian main course options. One suggestion to have separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian to avoid cross contamination. Lanzarote is a beautiful island to visit. Definitely recommend.
Should not be named as a family hotel, it has barley anything for kids other than the same show every night outside. Also all the facilities they claim to have is false. Kids can’t even swim/use a floaty in the pool. I wish I had done better research on the property.
Staff were all very helpful throughout .
Enormous
This is an enormous site which we found somewhat overwhelming. We only stayed one night so didn't have chance to explore all the facilities. Reception friendly and efficient. Large selection of food.
Three night stopover
I stayed at this hotel as part of a longer trip, first time in Lanzorate and I'd definitely come back to this hotel.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent. Great if you want to be active with a varied programme and equally great if you want to just go and relax. The food was really very good (only experienced Breakfast and Dinner, so can’t comment on Lunch) nice to have a choice of Buffet restaurants. The on-site supermarket is very good, well stocked and reasonably priced. We stayed in a family room (3 adults) it was plenty big enough for us with enough privacy. Very comfortable beds, big fluffy towels and cleaned/made up every day. It had a full size fridge and a microwave and kettle. There were 2 televisions but we didn’t really use and a balcony with a table and 4 chairs. I would say the area surrounding the hotel is not great, quite a walk to Costa Teguise. This didn’t bother us as we were only there a few days for some winter sun. So the coastal path walk was lovely of a morning, we were not looking for anything more than that. If you did want a bit of nightlife out of the hotel, you would need to get the bus from outside or taxi I would say. It’s only about 15 mins taxi from airport which cost 22€ each way. Was very easy to pick up a taxi when coming out of airport and there was a taxi rank just outside the hotel and we only waited about 5 mins for one to come along to take us back to the airport. The hotel reception would have called one if we needed though I am sure. All in all a very positive first experience and we would definitely return.
The rooms are very good but it also depends where you get put. If you have to have the lights on when there is sun outside asked to be moved. The drinks I believe are somewhat watered down. AI plus you get proper drinks. Food not always warm but plenty of choice.
Such an incredible resort, staff are soo friendly and wonderful! It has absolutely everything you could think of, we have the most amazing time here!
Cx
From the moment we arrived we found exeptional service from the reception staff. As there was little queue we were invited to another desk to check in. Room was very clean and decorated with taste. All staff, cleaners, receptionists, waiters, cooks, gardeners, bartenders were very friendly and helpfull. Dining was very good, variety of food so everybody could find something they liked. We used dolce vita restaurant for my partners bday and there was no disappointment either, everything tasted as in Italy. We even received bday card from experience manager from the hotel. Check out process very quick and without any issues. I can highly recommend this hotel.
Buen hotel, necesita un poco de reforma
muy buena estancia
Great 1 week stay at Barcelo.
Overall everything was great, service great, very comfortable bed, servicing of room excellent.
We have stayed at the hotel three times and it is great for a young family. They have a great splash park with sun beds around, and multiple other pools. Fantastic entertainment team for children and very enthusiastic. The buffet food options are varied and they do a fabulous breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall recommend.
Is very nice hotel
Only a short drive from the airport. Great resort for being active and also relaxing. Lots of options to try new activities during the day and some entertainment each evening. No booking required. Gym for over 14s only. Not all activities were inclusive as some had a small fee. Room was spotless. Food was excellent, being fresh and varied each day. Perfect for our 5 day holiday. Highly recommended.
Well, i hadn't stayed in a hotel for a long time, so it was a bit of a culture shock at first. I only booked it for the Olympic pool tbh. The resort is absolutely huge and although it was busy, it didnt feel crowded in any way. I paid a bit extra to have a sea view room. These rooms are renovated to a very nice standard, they are part sea view & part pool view, very spacious including a large balcony with sun pretty much all day. On Expedia, i couldnt see an option for the 'Royal Level', it wasnt clear, but this was the next best thing. The food was good, plenty of choice and every night, something was being cooked fresh - chicken, pizza, burger etc and in the morning eggs are cooked fresh for breakfast. I did expect everyone to be pretty sporty, but activities and the gym were not used by many. For me, it meant a choice of lanes in the pool at any time of day which was wonderful. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful except the pool towel guy at the Marella pool who acted as though he had knitted the towels himself by hand & definitely thought you didnt deserve one! As someone who enjoys the beach, its worth knowing that although this hotel is right on the coast, there is no beach, it is all rocks and unaccessible. There are no shops or restaurants or town near the hotel and the view is of industrial area - i found this different from anywhere I'd stayed before. All in all, I would return for the amazing swimming, but it is isolated if the weather had been not great
We arrived late but check-in was good; super quick and helpful. However, the bands given to us didn't open our bedroom door, the man who helped us with our bags let us into the room and went back to reception to get new bands, but none of them worked either. We had a family room as the bunk beds were great for the 3 and 5 year old, however there was a list of things we weren't impressed with in the room - the patio doors were stiff and wobbly, the sliding door into the bunk bed area was broken and wouldn't move, the bathroom sliding door was stiff and wouldn't close, there was no main light in the bedroom just the side lights, the floor was dirty (bottoms of our feet were filthy), the safe didn't work, there were 2 travel cots taking up space in the bedroom that we didn't need or ask for and the shower had a lot of mould.
Very convenient to be able to use the facilities at both hotels. Animation Team were brilliant, friendly and so hard working! Food was decent - pizza in the Playa side highly recommended. Brilliant idea of the wrist band as room key - would love for all inclusive hotels to have this! Barcelo’s are quite nice too- could double as an accessory. Most staff were helpful. The water in the cove near the hotel was gorgeous - rocky and deep though shame I was not a strong swimmer so I prefer a sandy beach.
A great place to relax.
Dining staff never offered us any water at our evening meal. Other tables had been given a jug of water. And one lady in the entertainment team was very unprofessional. She ignored us and two other families at the bingo.
Such an amazing stay, we stayed in the junior suite and it was perfect! the cocktails were amazing. Although dinner was quite repetitive it was still of high standard
What a beautiful hotel! Loved everything about it, I couldn't fault a thing! Would definitely go again 5* 🙂
Noisy, walls too thin could hear everything from adjacent rooms, especially the usual insensitive Brits who don’t know how to behave abroad.
Very clean very nice
Simply amazing!!
An amazing stay all round. It’s clear eveything has been thought through carefully. We had an amazing stay and so did our 1 year old. Will definitely come back in the future 😊
Perfect place for a sports ,sun, and relaxing 😎
Overall very good experience. Two things that would make it excellent in all areas would be Would be good if pools would be heated and more variety in kids food.
Really enjoyed my time at Barceló active resort. The room was lovely. We had a nice view, and it was great and quiet. Beds were nice with a reasonable range of pillows. I slept really well. The room throughout was clean, and the bathroom was good. There was also a good provision of storage for our stuff. The restaurant each day was fantastic. There was a great amount of variety, and this changed each day. Everything tasted as good as or better than it looked (which for all inclusive is rarer than it should be sadly). Things were reasonably well labelled - the odd omission, but things can always be improved. The only gripe I had was that serving tongs / spoons were often shared amongst different dishes - so you might find a spoon used to two different types of cake which had remnants of both on. I’m not one with a big issue on cross contamination (for allergies as an example) but this struck me as an easy one to fix. The staff were faultless. Reception were lovely, bar staff fantastic, the restaurant staff always cheerful and helpful, the cleaning staff always gave a cheery hello - every single person we encountered was a credit to the place. We did one or two of the fitness activities, these were quite good. The only issue we had was that often it wasn’t totally clear what you were signing up for. One class labelled as 30mins was 45. Another were thought might be an easy stretch sort of class was much more advanced. I’d really suggest giving a bit more detail.
Great hotel
Meh
Room was good condition - pretty comfortable - good wifi - good aircon. Room safe not working. Claimed to be "pool view" - but only if you had a very good imagination. Breakfast buffet was OK - nothing special and a bit disorganised. Downsides - very poor soundproofing - traffic noise thru huge gaps in door - woken up at 3am by adjacent room - soundproofing so poor I could make out both sides of the phone conversation/screaming match. Not very good value for money Would stay there again but would try and find somewhere better
Good
Well recently refurbished hotel with good food and drinks options and activity programs.
Excellent stay
My stay was amazing, thanks also to Mercedes, that helped me with a lot of information. Her friendly nature made my stay excellent! No doubt i d recommend this hotel!!
Best
It was amazing!
Hotel its okay. But food every day same menu, Is no good. The cocktail all inclusive is terrible.
Returning after 2 great stays last year. This year with the old hotel now reopened was put in block 3 overlooking the road & the Olympic pool so immediately disappointed. Was advised didn’t book a sea view so said can I upgrade & told not possible so then asked to be put in Royal level I had used last year but was quoted €500 euros on top of what already paid!! When I used the app said €50 Think the member of staff was more interested in talking to his colleagues & actually didn’t know how to navigate the system At this point I was so tired & Couldn’t be bothered to argue so walked to my room I actually liked it as renovated but few things were annoying The buffet breakfast room was changed on my second day but not advised No water in the fridge as a courtesy No card given for beach towel so after helping myself over first 2 days challenged by a jobsworth Life guard on 3rd day I love Barcelo hotels staying in one in Tenerife in March & previously there last year but this will make me rethink 😩
Enjoyable break
Great food and surroundings lovely room with great view
Great hotel food excellent swimming pool best in Europe nothing bad to say.
A great stay!
Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, facilities better than expected and there was a really nice touch of finding a bottle of champagne when coming back to my room on my birthday. Overall, very pleased and would definitely stay here again!
Lovely hotel, great facilities going on even in late November. Food choice was excellent even for diary free people like me!
Lovely solo break
Hotel and staff are outstanding. I was on a solo break on half board and felt so comfortable as a single lady. The room was beautiful - gorgeous sea view and huge balcony. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds abs seating area.
Property was beautiful although still under renovation. Reception desk staff were very helpful - happy to provide directions or order taxis etc and also stored our luggage on the day of check out. One problem with the property was that in our original room the boiler was broken and after 3 days of lukewarm water we were upgraded which was a bonus. The all inclusive buffet was lovely and food hot however no labels on foods meant you didn’t always know what you were eating.
We liked everything
Very clean and staff were very helpful
Don’t stay at the Occidental
The hotel is similarly rated to the 4* Teguise Grand Playa where I have stayed before. The staff at the Occidental were smartly turned out and their standard of service was good. The hotel was very clean and Covid aware However The hotel is a long way from the centre of the Costa Teguise resort and the capital Arrecife with seemingly no obvious shuttle service offered The standard of catering was abysmal with all the character of a “works canteen” - No ambiance, low end / poor quality food / ingredients such a contrast to the Teguise Playa. No cabaret or musical entertainment - just bingo
Just dont eat the food.
I originally stayed for a week and had a good time. Generally there is a really good atmosphere around the hotel and the staff could not be anymore friendly. There’s plenty of things to do like go to the gym, squash or the close by beach if that’s your thing. If you’re looking to get away for a bit and get some good weather next to the pool, then this place is a good choice. Now the bad bit. The food quality is really quite poor. I’m a little fussy but having to microwave the food is not what I consider acceptable. The food is average but don’t expect any hot meals. If salad is your thing then you’ll be ok. I made a mistake by deciding to stay on for another week. On a more serious issue with the food I got food poisoning on my second night and ended up spending three days in bed being really quite sick. I phoned a taxi who went and got me some meds from a local pharmacy. So out of my extra week I’ve spent three days in bed and the other three still feeling wiped out. I gave up on the hotel food and was ordering take aways from Just Eat as I didn’t trust the food in the hotel any longer. So if you decide to try it, think very carefully about eating in the hotel. So i wished i hadnt spent the extra £650 to just lie in my bed for 3 days and the other three feeling unwell waiting to go home.
Nice hotel. Food quite good and set away from the main area which we liked. Room was comfortable and service was good. Only slight issue was smell from toilet but kept door closed so was fine.
Everything was clean, also with me being on permanent crouches i found it easy to get around the hotel from pool side to acess to the walk in shower etc the whole stay was first class.
We was overrun in our room with cockroaches. Staff didnt seem concerned. We had to be moved from two rooms and could only give us one room for all of us. No hot water entire stay. Shower busted too.
Bedrooms and view was nice though rooms needed a coat of paint. Food was terrible . Undercooked chicken and very repetitive menu. Overall the hotel needed painting . Very tired and dirty looking inside
Home from home
We´ve stayed here many times and will continue to do so - it has become a home from home but with added luxuries!! The food on our last stay was the best ever with plenty of choice for each meal every day. If there was anything to be disappointed with it was the daytime activities, which have always been good, but this time fell short of previous stays.
Don’t eat in the restaurant if you can avoid it. Rude wait staff with no patience for you at all
When we arrived at the hotel and checked in, we located our room and were disappointed, as the room was in a different wing of the hotel which was unlike the plush reception area. The room resembled an apartment more than a room in a four star hotel. From the picture provided via Expedia, we expected a luxurious suite, but were met with a room with one double bed and a large living room with a sofa bed and camp bed. The room was spacious, but felt very bare and was in need of some superficial upgrades. After speaking the hotel manager, who was very helpful, we were shown into another room in the same wing, but it was the same. The manager then offered us a room in the main hotel, which came with a extra charge. This room was what we had expected to have been allocated in the first place! One problem with staying in the main hotel is the loud entertainment at night, the sound seemed to penetrate the room, even though it’s a block building! That being said, the food and staff cannot be faulted and we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Occidental Lanzarote Playa. We hope to return again in the future.
Spacious rooms and good breakfast. Standard hotel but very friendly staff.
Relaxing stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful. We thought there would be more options for exercise classes so that was a disappointment. We didn't use the spa. There was a fee to use the sauna and hot tub. My daughter and I are gluten free and vegan and the kitchen was very accommodating. The gluten free pancakes were really good. I just had to ask for them before sitting down. If you want to see entertainment in the evenings, be sure to claim a seat early. They fill up quickly. We were happy with the location except for it is not on a beach as stated on Hotels.com. There is a convenient bus stop that will take you to beaches.
Loved the pools and the location close to beach. Very clean hotel. Great entertainment.
Lovely and clean. Great views. Wonderful selection of foods. Would recommend for anyone who wants a get away as not close to many other shops/ restaurants but can get to via free shuttle bus
Amazing pool area with great opportunities to catch the sun all day long. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to help if they could. Great selection of food and drinks included in the all inclusive package. A quiet location but easily accessible to shops and larger resorts.
Very good, staff were very kind and it was very family friendly
Water in the pool was heated ! But the toilet next to the pool should be cleaned more often
Some areas of the property require some general repairs to be done, paint coming off walls, furniture need repairing but centrally it's ok for the price
Corridors outdated. Guest services lady wasn’t very helpful - told us to get on the free shuttle which would be a big purple bus to get into town. It was green! Her instructions were not clear where the bus stop was.
Reception staff very unfriendly hotel had no atmosphere just a big space and nowhere to relax of an evening. The biggest complaint I have despite paying extra for a sea view we were given a room overlooking large wind turbines and a factory plant with chimneys belching out smoke 24/7.
Without knowing we were upgraded from a standard room to a junior suite. However we were allocated one on the ground floor with the balcony facing a path in a dark and dingy area. We returned immediately to reception and asked for an upper floor room. We were informed there were non available but after complaining vigorously a customer service manager came to see us and lo and behold a room on 4th floor was found for us. We do not consider this hotel to be 4star. The accommodation we had was quite a walk from the main building. It was quite sparse. One bottle of water was provided but nobody informed us we could replenish it from the water machines. Extra toiletries were not provided automatically by the cleaner, they had to be requested from reception. There were no cotton buds, cotton wool or shower caps provided as expected from a 4 star hotel. The computerised entertainments screen was on the first floor, which was the reception, but we had no need to visit this floor as everything else and our entry into the main building was on the lower ground. Even so, the menu did not state times or locations for entertainments. The should be much more information at least on the lower ground floor if not in the rooms. Evening entertainment was a big disappointment - only on for one hour from 9pm-10pm. We had two good shows, the other nights were very disappointing. The entertainments team themselves were excellent, very friendly and outgoing.
Room had a bad smell from the bathroom. Spoke to reception but not a lot was done to rectify the problem
Our room was close to the evening entertainment area therefore noisy up to 10.30 and with returning revelers through the night. (people are on holiday:) )The room door has gaps that do not help with soundproofing. Other than that the beds are very comfy, food very good, pool area/gym etc all good. A great stay. We will try somewhere differnt next time but that should not deter readers of this review.
One week half board
Spent a week half board end of February- beginning of March. A wide selection of good quality food available on buffet. Service in restaurant was good. Reception staff very friendly and helpful even when checking in at nearly midnight. Our room was spacious with a living room area too, fridge, kettle & balcony had a sea view. Many areas of hotel in need of a coat of paint. Swimming pool & sports areas well kept. One pool was heated and very warm. Location on outskirts of town towards Arrecife with several plots marked out for or had foundations started for further development. Situated less than a mile from a petro - chemical plant which was very visible & some rooms look towards it. Free bus into Costa Teguise hourly during the day. Bus stop outside to Arrecife & Puerto del Carmen. About half an hour to walk along sea front to Costa Teguise where there are many bars and shops. Several car hire companies based at hotel.
Nice hotel however i did not like the fact that you had to pay to use the jacuzzi, with all the hotels we have used it has always been included. I found the dining room very poorly managed, lack of staff, guests waiting around for a clean table. Staff did not point out empty clean tables to guests hence guests stood waiting Tables were available however full of dirty dishes. These dirty dishes were left on tables for long periods of time. On a couple of occasions when we went to get our desserts our table was taken and we had to find another table. Food in general luke warm. Took a long time to top empty dishes up. On the last day we went for breakfast at 7.30 when the dining room opened. The whole restaurant was full of dirty dishes left from the night before. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Great hotel but watch valuables.
iPad went missing in room hence the low score.
Well located. Clean and modern. Food choice and quality was disappointing. Also felt that deposits for pool towels, iron and ironing board, etc. should not be required for an "all inclusive hotel" package.
Our second stay st this property. Our stay’s were in Nov and Feb so out of season. Overall deal was very reasonable. Food could be improved but to be fair out of season there was probably very little margin to do this. Would stay again.
Worth a visit
Excellent and plentiful choices for vegetarians at buffet. The kitchen and waiting staff are so hard-working, providing freshly cooked food at breakfast and keeping all dishes replenished at the buffet. There’s something for all tastes. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and housekeeping was very good. Public areas very well-maintained, with plenty of seating both inside and around the pool (in January). The walk into Costa Teguise along the Paseo Maritimo is very pleasant and easy. There’s a free shuttle bus also. Its a mere two minute walk to the closest beach. Car hire and a few small shops are around the corner and across the road, including bicycle hire and a place to book trips to sights and other parts of the island. Our first trip to Lanzarote and we had a really lovely short break.
Really nice clean hotel , food was really good there’s something for everyone , the staff are friendly especially the entertainment team in particular, Luca and Rachel who make everyone feel good
Lovely close to beach to all the amenities Gorgeous pool which one was heated Highly recommend this hotel Staff were friendly and helpful
Great hotel. Fantastic staff. Amazing food.Kept spotlessly clean by hard working and pleasant staff.Great location with stunning sea view's. A surprise bottle of wine on my wife's birthday was a lovely gesture. We didn't want to leave.Would not think twice about staying here again. Brilliant
Pretty disappointed when we showed up and were greeted by rude staff at reception. This hotel is not on the beach as it claims it is, you need to take a 15 minute bus ride on order to get to an actual beach.
Disappointed
Although the hotel had 4 star amenities the same could not be said for the service e.g. cups in room were not washed up. Entertainment was so loud you couldn’t here yourself think
Lovely hotel, good facilities, could do with adding some more equipment to the gym but only a small detail staff are good
Never fails to please
We have stayed here a few times and it never fails to please. This time we noticed improvements in decor and the animation team/entertainment. The food (both choice and quality) was excellent, even in the pool bar.
Lovely hotel with fantastic evening Entertainment. All staff are extremely lovely and the all inclusive food and drink is great.
Nice hotel close to town
Room had a horrible smell in the bathroom and had flies in the shower
Positive experience
Large and modern hotel, some rooms need to be renovated. Free parking and free wifi working in most places within the building, including the rooms. Friendly staff. The hotel is a few minutes away from Puerto del Carmen. There is a supermarket close to the hotel. There is a buffet restaurant. The food quality is fine. The bed in the room is very comfortable.
Brill hotel, lots to do.
This is the 4th or 5th time at this hotel and this time was just as good as before! Really good facilities, lovely staff, animation team were great. Pools were clean and kids pools were fab with the slides. Food was ok as always, just lacks a bit of variety. But overall an amazing holiday as always!
Good hotel, needs more staff to be a 4* experience
Hotel has good facilities, i.e. tennis court, football, basketball, swimming pools etc but there is not enough staff to achieve a 4* experience. The food lacks change and options. The staff look over worked and the cleaners take many shortcuts. I.e. room not swept or befsheets changed in the week.
Amazing place to go fab hotel
Hotel was amazing food really good and staff were great will be back I gave this hotel to my son and his new wife as a honeymoon present and they loved it. They will be going again they said it was fabulous
Well worth a visit
This hotel is about 20 - 30 minute walk from the main area in Costa Teguise however it is a nice stroll most of which can be done along the coast prom which is lovely. The beds here are amazing. My partner usually awakes at dawn but I was waking him up at 0830 every day they were that good! The hotel is opposite a small cove which can be easily accessed from the hotel which although rocky was lovely to swim in and if you have a snorkel mask there are lots of fish to see. Overall really enjoyed our time here.
New hotel but it has no soul.
Arrived at this hotel and was checked in by a lovely receptionist who greeted us. I booked a double sea view room but was given a twin power station view room. I called to complain but was told I had to go down at 9am the next day and we would be greeted as priority. Went to reception at 9:30 and receptionist looked at us very blankly and said she had a junior suite for us but had to go back at 12. Eventually managed to move rooms at 1pm. Lovely view and nice size room but the rooms are not as nice as the pictures show, very tired looking and bad plaster work. The pool was lovely and the food was great. Great choice of drinks and cocktails for all inclusive. Entertainment staff were the best I had experienced at a resort, Jose was very funny. Great holiday all in all just a shame about the rooms as they are not all sea view.
Great week away
Fantastic stay at the hotel. Room, Pool, Food all great for an AI hotel. It is a little bit our of town, but the walk back and forth is worth it as you see the coast
Nice
Nice house keeping also good food Fantastic activities
Nice hotel close to the beach
Looked like very old hotel but very satisfied with room, activities for adults and children and evening entertainment. Food was excellent and lots of options to choose. Children had a brilliant time - they enjoyed swimming pool, basketball, throw ball and table tennis.
Excellent stay. But limited veg or vegan options
We were a large party and stayed on full boarding basis. Overall an excellent stay but the hotel has limited vegetarian or vegan options. It is a shame as the hotel could easily target more customers through better veg or vegan options.
Poor Location
Average hotel for food and drink. Buffet food seldom above lukewarm but the griddled items were well cooked and hot.. wine and water were waiter served but everything else is self service. Bar is self service and you have a queue while the staff serve you. Rooms are well cleaned and comfortable.. There are mattress toppers for additional comfort. The grounds are well laid out with sports facilities available for racket games, mini golf etc. There are steps down to a rear exit to the road alongside a rocky beach. The area itself lacks any real interest which is its weak point. To reach the nearest resort area is a 20 minute walk although the local bus runs there between Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise. The road walk is not interesting as it is through undeveloped land. If the hotel were in Playa Bastian I would have rated it higher. Entertainment was ok but a little too much of the same thing most nights but from different artists.
Lovely hotel
The hotel is very good. We were All Inclusive. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need, though we did take our own travel kettle for a cup of tea in bed. The food is buffet style in the restaurant and you can have as much as you want. There is a variety of drinks available at every meal, including champagne juices and hot drinks with breakfast, water and wine at lunch and dinner. Plus sangria, beer and soft drinks. There is a wide choice of hot and cold food. The bars offer free local brand drinks from 10.30am. There are even slush puppy machines. The pool area is kept clean and the pool is lovely. And towels can be obtained from reception with a €10 deposit. There are tennis courts and a mini crazy golf.
Nice Hotel - Understaffed/Lack Entertainment
Hotel was really lovely and clean. Evening entertainment was very boring and kids disco seperate to adults entertainment - should be altogether kids first then move on to adults. Downside were kids pool not heated only 1 pool was heated but was 1.4m so not good for small kids. Food was very repetitive and tables left with plates for very long periods. We had starter/main and dessert and still no plates removed from our table! Not close to much so middle nowhere. My son had ear infection was screaming in pain and staff v unhelpful would not open kitchen to get olive oil so ended up A&E 1am and still could not get medication as chemist closed until 9.30am.
Relaxing Stay
Check in was quick and easy. Our room was superb spotless with very large comfy beds ,with beautiful Sea view , The entertainment was fantastic . The animation team were lovely . The food was very good I would definitely go back .
Big room with a sea view
Nice hotel with big rooms which were cleaned daily. The bathroom although clean was a little tired looking with tarnished fittings in the shower. Around the pool was spotless and really nice. One pool was heated, one not. The food was as expected for an inclusive, plentiful but not very hot. However, there was also a grill area for freshly cooked fish an meat which was great with the salad choice. The al a carte restaurant was amazing - we had the salmon and veal. The staff were friendly and a receptionist went out of her way to assist when I had no info for the return shuttle to the airport. Overall I would happily return to this hotel.
Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel...a mile or so to town. Has a free shuttle bus every hour. Takes a leisurely 30 min walk along promenade. ALL Staff very helpful and hotel accommodation immaculately clean.

I had an amazing time at this resort. Employees were very nice, the room was big and clean with a great view. The breakfast buffet was up to royalty levels both in terms of choices and quality. The surroundings were great for sport, relax, shopping, public transport, entertainment. I will go back for sure.
