TravellerStayed in the yurt very cozy and spotless with a comfortable bed, just place for a peace of mind and soul, I was worried about the cold before my visit and brought lots of extra blankets and hot water bottle but the yurt is very well insulated and the wood burner keeps it very warm definitely recommended

Amazing place, out in the middle of nowhere but close enough for food shop and of course visiting the wider loveliness of Scotland. Managed to see the beavers gathering food and then heating them munch away in their home. Spiders are included foc so be prepared!
TravellerThis Property and Paul and Louise are exquisite hosts. The whole area and Estate is excellent medicine for the soul and mind. Highly recommend a short visit and you will be hooked to return again. My Wife and I plan on returning many times to re-charge and re-connect with ourselves and nature.
TravellerThe yurt was a magical experience and very cosy even after a frost overnight! Paul and Louise are very welcoming and the Estate is a great example of how land should be managed with help from the amazing beavers.

Immersive nature experience
This is comfort camping, with great facilities in a communal area specific for those using yurts or huts, everything for cooking, reading, games etc. The toilet /shower room is located at the main house; toilet facilities are not next/ensuite to the accommodation. Good written information pack. You are generally off-grid with no phone signal; there is WiFi but not fast. The Estate gives you free reign to wander anywhere, understanding you are respectiveful of nature. There is an honesty shop to buy basics and a few essentials. Great for bird watching, and of course watching the beavers and their activity.
