Don’t judge this book by its cover!

We were leery about staying as it appeared to be one of those old time roadside motels but was swayed by the 9/10 rating. The room was fantastic! Totally updated; new drapes, new carpet, fresh paint, bathroom updated! And a great price! Would definitely stay here again. Oh, and a wonderful lady at check in as well. The only negative was the pillows, a little on the flat side for my comfort.

This small motel was perfect for us. Clean, quiet, a very good value, convenient location. And Vicky, who manages the motel, was amazing--friendly, helpful, and went beyond the call of duty to reach out to us when there was an issue with pre-authorizing our credit card. She called us directly to let us know that she didn't want us to lose our reservation and asked us to call her so we could re-confirm our intention to stay at the Badger that night. Amazing! Would stay again for sure -- and will recommend to anyone we know heading in that direction.

Clean and Quiet. Easy access to highways.

GPS made finding it sasy, the two Highway 53's made for some "moments" A non franchise motel that we would visit again.

Wonderful stay!

Such a great find when we had a blowout on the road while passing through and suddenly needed to find a place to stay quickly. Very helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. It had everything we needed and was a restful haven after a crappy day. Very glad to have found it.

I would definitely stay here again. Family Owned and friendly! Property and rooms were very clean, front desk staff were helpful and caring. Great experience here.

The bed was comfortable and clean. Walmart is just across the parking lot.

Mattress lilted to the one side

Hotel stay

This is an older hotel without many amenities. It is however kept very clean. Beds are comfortable. I would gladly stay here again.

very clean friendly staff

Jackie the manager so so polite and kind. For a Motel that still uses a key to enter your room, it was very clean and tidy. The beds were a little hard for me as i like a softer mattress but i still slept good. As being a single middle aged woman, i felt safe. The cleaning lady was also kind and funny! She even helped me unload my vehicle! And the rates are AWESOME! Especially for a Friday and or Saturday nights!

Clean, quiet, no frills motel. Everything in the area was booked, and we found this motel. If you just need a place to sleep that is clean and quiet, this will fill your needs.

The check in procedure was quick. Upon checkout, the desk person was interested if everything was satisfactory and took time to converse in regard to what brought us to this part of the state etc. Very personable yet professional.

Rooms were clean and affordable. Staff was friendly and courtious. All around good experience.

Nice and clean. A bit expensive for what you get. We were awoken for about an hour by loud music that was coming from the parking lot or another room.

enjoyed our stay

Would have liked to have coffee in the room and a chain lock on inside of room for double locking. Everything else was fantastic!

This property was conveniently located to a music festival that we were attending. It was very clean and the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Super clean, super friendly! Smelled amazing with new a/c units and crisp bedding. You could tell a lot of care is put into restoring this motel.

You might want to consider rotating the mattress on the right hand bed in Room 22. The side next to the night stand has gotten too soft from people constantly sittinng on it.

CLEAN

The Badger Motel is family owned and maintained. This is a no frills motel but extremely clean. quiet and safe. Jacque was friendly and helpful. We like supporting local and family-owned establishments.

Great location, very clean, great prices

This is a small family owned motel just off the main road. They pride themselves on their cleanliness and they did not disappoint. The room was very clean and even though I always go over all surfaces with Clorox wipes, when I walked in the room, you could smell the clean. They do a great job of maintaining the rooms and property. And the beds were firm and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Perfect mom and pop motel

This is a nice, clean little mom and pop motel. Nothing extra but perfect as is.

Location with Value

Very simple but clean accomodations. Nicely located. Jackie is the on site manager, very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again for a place to sleep while enjoying the Chippewa Falls activities.

Desk clerk very personable. Called me several hours ahead to see if I was keeping my reservation. Motel is older but comfortable & safe. Room layout not very easily accessible and parking area is dark.

Pleasantly surprised

The hotel appears to be family. They were all friendly, courteous, and efficient. The room was clean. Even with 2 queen beds there was still room for a table and a pair of chairs comfortably. We had only planned to stay 1 night. We liked the motel so well that we stayed 3.

It was clean enough but the beds were terrible. Old worn out mattress and broken.

A clean and comfortable stay

We came to town for a Legion baseball tournament. Badger Motel was a great choice for us. Clean, comfortable, and close to Wal-Mart, restaurants, main roads. The room we were in had two queen size beds and a fridge/microwave and plenty of space. I was especially impressed with the friendliness for the front desk staff and the very clean room/bathroom. We appreciate those things so much! Badger Motel also had coffee and breakfast bars in lobby area. Overall, a good experience and good value.

The room was ice cold and it’s very humid and wet . There are no amenities or just coffee or breakfast . It seems overpriced for what it is .

i really enjoyed our stay here it was right next to a Walmart and 25 miles from our destination. very friendly staff and helpful.

Old school motel charm

Stayed here for two nights while in town for the Leinenkugel's Family Reunion. It's an old school motel layout, which you don't see much anymore. The woman at the desk when I checked in was very nice.
