Very nice hotel with nice garden and cafe

Happy Customer

This was a really nice place to stay. The pool was lovely, the sun loungers were comfortable and the sea was heaven. We stayed for 2 nights. Ate a couple of times in the restaurant (which was very nice) and hired out kayaks from them for only 300 baht an hour. Only flaw was the cost of laundry. The staff were so helpful and the stay was excellent.

Outstanding Stay

Outstanding establishment. Staff friendly and helpful, location perfect and right on the beach, comfy rooms, fast wifi, serene setting. The only downside was not enough healthy/vegetarian/vegan options on the restaurant menu.

Really over priced for what it is. Hôtel photos online give you wrong ideas. The beach is small, in the middle of village, with lots of boats passing right in front. Very little choice for the breakfast. The view was terrible as our room was facing the roofs of the village. Hotel is far from everything. Had to rent a motobike to visit around. The employees were nice but the hotel facilities really need to improve.

Nice hotel and good location.

Hotel very clean, quiet good for relaxing. And staffs are nice too. Their restaurant food are very good too.

It’s a very nice hotel which I have highly recommended. Room is spacious with super king size bed. Inside and outdoor balcony are both providing an relaxing sea view which you could conduct a meditation. Pool side & pool restaurant are covered with relaxing music and we are so enjoy having the complimentary breakfast there. Staff are all friendly and polite. The most surprise is they offered me a birthday cake. This is not a valuable thing but truly show their “customer value & caring”. The funny thing is when they bring the cake into my room. I was in the toilet which make “a little joke” & embarrass.

By the beach. Not to close to town if you prefer quiet. The room is clean. Breakfast is just ok.

Perfect location to relax next to the beach

A little far from the main area but was located in an area where there are less people and perfect to just relax next to the beautiful beach. The breakfast (buffet) was delicious and the staff were very friendly. However, there were a lot of small bugs appearing on the bed by the window so me and my friend had to sleep in one bed during the stay. But besides that I loved this place, and would definetly come back again!

Small, contemporary hotel right on the beach

We loved this hotel. Great location - on the beach and 15 minute stroll into town. Lovely views. Very modern and loved that it only had 16 rooms. Very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Very overpriced for what you get

Very good hotel

Pleasant staff, modern wooden decoration, close to pier, no need to pay 200 Baht/per (national park enterance fee) but you must walk 5 min to hotel. Hotel located in north of island and 25 min walk to popular Hot Saikaew beach. Break fast is not buffet, serve by order and not many choise. Overall very good.

Small, clean, and quiet

This hotel is right on the beach, with a small but adequate swimming pool, and a very nice restaurant next to it. Otherwise it is within 15-min walking distance to the Koh Samed pier (where you can find other services).

Everything fine with this price. Room clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Modern wooden decoration. Except location. Evening need have a bike to go to hotel. A dark street away.

This is the place to stay on this island. Very chill , awesome location, away from crowded touristic area

It is a relaxing for me and my boy friend to have a quiet place to take a break. Also, good service ,the staff speak English very well.

stay here and away from main beach

lovely hotel, no problems. it is a mile or so away from the main beach, however, dont go there.....beach was very very dirty, very unpleasant. There is a small beach outside this hotel which is lovely and convenient. sea is amazing to swim in or just dabble your feet. Koh Samet was disappointing but i am glad i stayed in this hotel. Thanks.

Koh Samet relax time

Koh Samet is ok as an island to visit, however it's not that brilliant. The hotel was in a good position, near the pier for landing. Beach was nice, but you can't swim in the sea as their are sea urchins. So we used the pool more. Room was lovely with a huge bed.

Awesome Resort !!!

Hotel itself is very cozy with its reasonable size, clean, beautiful and quite. There were rooms that you can spend the full day in and dine by the sea.

Stunning Beach Front Hotel Island Getaway

I had a MOST WONDERFUL experience at Baan Ploy Sea on my Island getaway with my Girlfriend! The resort surpassed all my expectations, the wait staff delivered service above & beyond. They are very kind & always had a smile on there face. The resort appears to have aged a fraction on the outside and I do think could do with a minor touch up however could not fault the rest of the resort. I think it was classed as a 3.5 star hotel before I left and I honestly preferred it over the 4 star hotel I stayed at in Bangkok. This was my first time travelling overseas, my girlfriend & I had an absolute blast at Koh Samed, I was lucky enough to join in a game of football with some of the local people, I hired a scooter for 400 baht (w/full tank fuel) literally 30 metres from the resort so easy access to transport & I would highly recommend to get around the island & explore. On the main beach near the Island Village are a bunch of restaurants & clubs, this place I found quite busy and at night they have fire dancing by the locals on the beach which is quite spectacular! It was a shame I only had a few days there as I would liked to have stayed longer. Definitely recommend Baan Ploy Sea!

Location, rooms.

I think the hotel is set up well. I only ever ate breakfast at the hotel, but what I think needs to be fixed is the menu for breakfast. It needs more variety. Possibly having someone there cooking the the omelettes out in the open so the guests can see it. They do this at many other hotels that I have stayed at. A bigger range of fruit, and more juices. Other then that I thought the breakfast was good, it just needs to be refined a little more. The rooms were great, I was very comfortable in my room and didn't have a problem with that. The staff were exactly what you needed at the hotel and did everything that you wanted.

Staff were friendly . Ferry service was good. Dining area was very tastefully done. Away from the city center and the main beaches.

Relaxing, quite and comfy

Overall it was good as we were looking for a quiet getaway. Only thing is that the hotel didn't offer free or cheap transport to the nearby beaches as the beach there wasn't let's stay in perfect shape.

lovely place

good but not without fault. very dimly lit rooms even with all lights on. not great for access to town, unless you pay 200baht for a cab or walk 15minutes. you can hire motorbikes reasonably though. 5minute walk from 'bar and bed' in the other direction which is great at night. staff are lovely but a bit sluggish, maybe time of year. plates and menus left outside room 12hrs and room service/drinks not available after 11pm. but the rooms are beautifully furnished, decking is lovely, pool is nice and the beach, whilst not ideal for bathing, is spectacular for an evening walk. close to ferry drop off but immediate surrounds a bit grotty if your expecting idyllic tropical island. but for a rustic seaside thai village it's friendly and non imposing. overall would go back.. my 4yr old loved it and if you're not snobbish and are happy to rent a motorbike it does the job.

Peace and quite for a true getaway

Pros: convenient transfer provided by resort to/ from Ban Phe, pier just next to the hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms, although tv channel selection can be improved. Quiet location, good for when you really want to get away from the crowd. Helpful staff in general. Cons: not a great beach, too near to pier. Location is really secluded in Ao Klang with very limited options for activity and food. Will check out Ao Prao next time

Smelled a little bit weird in the room. Maybe it's because of the wooden furnitures and structure..

Cozy, Comfortable, and Quiet

This hotel is the hidden gem on the island! Go here if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation. You can still walk to everything else on the other side if you're up for loud and crazy.

Oh Samet

The service in terms of being collected by the boat to be taken to the island was excellent. It seemed to be the last pier on the right as you looked out to sea from the port. The breakfast was very good and the service extremely attentive. Sadly the island has been spoilt by the demands of the tourists or the perceived demands. To charge to go round the island because it is a National Park beggars belief when you see what has happened to the place!

Stayed for wedding. The hotel is on the quieter side of the pier. Staff were just outstanding.

Great place to relax

The neighborhood isn't much to speak off which is why I chose the hotel. Was quiet and comfortable, just what i was looking for. Just a short walk to town. The staff were very nice.

Better than expected

We spent just two nights here but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Included in the Expedia rate was free boat transfer to/from the Koh Samed. We were met at the pier and our luggage was carted there while we walked just two minutes to the hotel. Although it is on the sea and has a small sandy beach, we were advised to swim on another side of the island. The views were great and we actually relaxed in/near the pool for a while. The restaurant next door was also very good, especially breakfast.

Excellent endroit pour se reposer

Fräscht och bra, tre vattenflaskor om dagen ingick. Trevlig personal och bra frukost. Stranden och poolområdet var jättebra och man har gångavstånd 15 min in till byn.

Loistava hotelli. Palvelu laadukasta ja hotellin sijainti loistava, vähän syrjemmässä keskustan vilskeestä. Meri ja allas aivan vierekkäin. Todella rauhallinen hotelli hyvällä ravintolalla.

Fantastisk sted, nydelig personal og veldig vakkert hotel. Absolutt å anbefale. Ligger litt utenfor det som er hovedgata, men ikke mer enn 10 minutter gåtur.

Tranquille et magnifique

Magnifique petit hôtel au bord de l’eau. Les chambres sont jolies et confortables. Le service est excellent. Le restaurant sert certainement la meilleure cuisine de l’île: ne pas hésiter à y manger! Le café est un incontournable pour les Instagrameurs ;) mais aussi parce que c’est super relax et les boissons y sont délicieuses

港からはちょっと離れてます。目の前の海は綺麗で部屋からビーチまで走って30秒もかかりません🎶 ウェルカムドリンクとか出してくれてスタッフはとても優しくフレンドリーです。 部屋は綺麗だし、水質や水量や排水は気になりませんでした。 近くには何も無いかと思って港近くでバイクを借りましたが、ホテルすぐ近くにバイク借りれるところがあったのでそこで借りればよかったなでと思いました。港までは徒歩15分くらいだったと思います。 バイクは好きな時に好きなだけ移動できるのでお勧めです✨ 朝食しかホテルで食べてませんが、それなりに種類は豊富でした。オープンなスペースで海を眺めながら食べれて気分は良いですが、ハエが沢山いるのはまあタイのビーチなら仕方ない…ですね。 静かにプライベート感を味わうにはオススメです！私はとても満足です。夜中まで遊んで飲んだくれて歩いて帰る…のならば別のホテルおすすめします。

很可愛溫馨的小飯店，房間不多，所以相對安靜很多。房間的放空區實在很討喜！很容易在那個位置睡著。早餐普普通通，但餐廳超好吃！很大推！房間大間，床很舒適，一切都很完美！下次還會來～

This hotel is lack of facilities. The swimming pool is too small. The breakfast and meals in the restaurant is bad. Staff are friendly and helpful, just hope that they can improve their English.

Dejligt sted

Ett mysigt litet hotell med jättebra service. Vi checkade ut redan klockan fem på morgonen och då kom personalen med frukost till oss utan att vi hade bett om det. Väldigt lugn miljö.

Along with the sea, nice view ever. Most important is away from the whistle and bustle in the east side of the island.

飯店離碼頭近，也不用自己搬行李，更重要的是走出飯店就是沙灘，飯店隔壁就有租機車的地方，環島或出去覓食都不用擔心。

很棒的住宿體驗。 出門就是泳池和沙灘，美麗的渡假村餐廳就在旁邊，非常有渡假風。 附近街上有一家機車租賃店，因此無論至大街吃東西或按摩，甚至騎至島的每一邊都很方便。 騎至大街約4-6分鐘，走路至專屬碼頭才3-5分鐘， 總而言之，大推。

Very good hotel in koh-sameth

This was a very nice hotel in koh-sameth. We had a few very good days. The hotel has a good restaurant where we had several dinners and also a private beach, bar and pool. The only thing missing was a gym. You can rent motorbikes outside, and using that you can get to basically the whole island. The only thing i noticed was that the AC in our room was a bit loud, and putting it into night mode etc did not seem to help.

全酒店做用木材建造，感覺特別！向海房間可欣賞日出。寧靜，舒適。距離碼頭只需10分鐘步程，值得再去。

舒服的房間，寧靜的飯店。有私人碼頭、私人沙灘，有接駁船免費接送羅勇-沙美、有24小時警衛。飯店旁邊就可以租摩托車，很方便。雖然我們退房去海邊玩，飯店人員還是讓我們在搭船離開前盥洗一下。飯店人員親切，早餐好吃。
