Great
Our go to hotel!
We love this hotel and stay here every time we are in Bangkok. The rooms are lovely, really large, clean and have everything you need. Near to everything. The staff are great too!
My stay here was reasonably good. Note this area is party town, lots of noise. Staff is very attentive and positive. I had to change rooms as I found my first room too dark, cave like without much natural light. Rooms are nicely decorated. They do lack a table/chair to do any work or just sit. They were kind and provided this to me on request. The doors to each room are like old wood storm doors, very thin and allow all the noise from the facing street and bars into your space. I had to jam in my ear plugs in deep to get any sleep. Lastly, I didn't like the required 2000 baht cash deposit. It drained the small funds I had left.
Nice location
Great location. Lovely staff.
Great location for access to the river (and the river taxis). Also really good to be just off the Khao San Rd even if, like me, you’ll not be raving. Coming back in at night through the madness was fun to see. However you are far enough away it doesn’t affect sleep. Also, turn right for wonderful morning food stalls and clothes etc. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The room is beautiful, but dark. Don’t expect much in the way of windows. The bed was big. The shower temp was a bit hit and miss, but in this heat, who cares! For the price & location-exceptional.
Great location, great price. Lovely staff.

Very nice, clean and cute hotel. Bed was comfortable. Very well located right near all the action on khaosan road. The staff is friendly and gave us good recommendations on places to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great times
The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Right in the centre of everything. We had a very nice decorated room and had everything we needed, very clear and comfortable. The room was a little small with not much space if you have a lot of luggage. It’s a little bit noisy but that’s what we would expect for being here. We really enjoyed our stay and I am sure you will too.
Location is excellent 👌, thr hotel and the room are beautiful, with ton of things to do at walkable distance
It was raining when we arrived but it seemed like they didn't have any plans for rain and a lot of luggage. No iron, poor communication at the front desk, and the bellboy was in health condition to help guests lift the luggage.
Centrally placed hotel
Small hotel around the corner from Khosan road. Staff were friendly and there was a nice bar area and seating out front with live performances some evenings. Rooms are very dark, you would need the light on all day in the room which can be slightly depressing. Bathrooms small but functional. It was surprisingly quiet given how close it was to everything.
The hotel’s staff is very professional and friendly! As soon as we check in they gave us tea and a towel to cool ourselves! They helped us book our tours and recommended the best temples to visit and to either use tuk tuk, taxi or Grab (Asia Uber). The place is near clubs, lots of restaurants and shopping. The place was very clean and the room was very comfortable! Overall we are really satisfied with this hotel.
Centrally located, clean, comfortable beds, good stay.
Perfect spot for easy access to most of Bangkok's highlights
Great price great location
Súper excelente localización
Not the best in the area
This hotel was so very dirty, and the room very small. Dirt and debris under the bed. The place was under construction and the pool is closed due to covid. The lobby was a mess, but Iam guessing the lobby bar will be completed by the time I am writing this review. A lady coming out of the bathroom in the lobby tried to avail herself to my husband one night. This hotel is on the edge of Banglamphu and is centrally located, and that was the only good thing about the hotel building itself. The manager was nice enough to let us leave out luggage for 4 days while we went to Krabi. I believe there might have been 2 other rooms with guests in them. This hotel is 2 1/2 times more expensive than similar hotels of equal caliber in the area, but not worth the extra money.
I stay here many times per year. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Certain rooms haven't been renovated but all rooms are pleasant.
The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated...I could live there!! The only issue was the noise from traffic and night clubs...you need earplugs to get any sleep.
Good amenities except they didn’t provide toothpaste. Beds were clean but television was confusing because it needed two remotes to use. Also would have like to be able to keep a/c when not in the room.
Awesome place, enjoyed our stay will come again.
Room was clean nice bathroom right near Kaosan. Good ice cream shop and Starbucks down in lobby. Wood definitely stay here again. Very conveniently located. Bed, like all in Thailand, could be a little softer.
Great location, comfortable beds!! Was in walking distance to a lot. Easy to grab supplies and things to eat. Nice Welcome Juice on arrival.
Walls are too thin and it's being right next to one of the busiest streets in bangkok; makes it impossible to sleep. Yes the room was clean and all that but if I can't sleep after a long day because of the music and crowd noise.... They all don't matter. I wouldn't come back here ... Additionally it's absurd that they are asking for 2000 baht deposit....
it is very close to everything and there are restaurants as on the property including a very clean Burger King if you get tired of Asian food.
Amazing stay. Can’t fault a thing!!
Location of the hotel is good. Rooms are clean and nice. Starbucks and Burger King within the hotel gorgeous. One thing about network connection logging frequently was little annoying, rest i find everything good. Staffs were friendly and helpful.
Quaint and well located
Perfect little hotel mid way between two airports and just off Koh SAN road. Very quaint set back from the road in a form of courtyard. The food is delicious in the restaurant. or the function of somewhere convenient to stay this is perfect.
This hotel was very nicely appointed. It was designed with quality and care. The only drawback is its proximity to the nightlife of KhaoSan Rd. and the noise from the nightclubs.
Clean and cozy, great location and friendly staff, thanks for the free ice cream! Lovely surprise
This tiny hotel is very nice and unique of its kind. The room I stayed is a perfect size for maybe a couple but not a family. The room has a nice decor , very elegant and the bathroom is my favourite . The black and white theme with oriental wood made it so fancy. Also the little touches around like the toiletries , nespresso and complimentary water arent just what you see in regular hotel. They use the best brand and made my hair so silky. The staff were amazing , I highly recommend this for young couple and single traveller
Nice hotel
Really a great hotel. It was clean and comfortable with nice pillows of different firmness to accommodate everyone. Bathroom was very nice with quality toiletries and good water pressure. Service was above par. The area was full of stinky backpackers and European beggers so I checked out a week early. Other than that it was very nice. Exactly what I was looking for.
This property has rooms more suitable to party goers coming in late and sleeping late. Rooms have no chairs and tables. Room has no block out curtains and light shines in. Showers are very small and don't expect much help with bags from taxi to check in. We are an older couple and it did not suit us so after one sleepless night we moved to a more suitable hotel , The Montien, very good. Unfortunately the Baan Chaart did not refund any of our money for the intended four day stay.
I stay at Baan Chart at least twice each year, usually three times or more. I love how close it is to Khao San Road. It's less than a block away from Khao San but without the noise. There is still some street noise but nothing like Khao San. The staff are usually friendly and typically greet me with a welcome drink. They are usually quite accommodating about special requests (I always request 3rd or 4th floor, closest to the street) and late check-out, as long as you make the requests when booking. Like many places, you have to give a 2000 thb cash deposit at check-in, which is returned upon check-out, assuming everything is good with the room.
Lovely stop gap on our travels :)
Beautiful room and very clean although my my bedsheet was slightly ripped. I arrived too late so I didn’t ask for it to be changed plus I was only staying one night. Hotel is a two minute walk to Khao San Road but wasn’t noisy at all. Our room was quite hot even with the a/c on but I did sleep well. Would definitely stay again :)
Nice hotel, great location. Room and bed were perfect. Restaurant/bar were a little on the pricey side.
Liked. Coffee nespresso. Showers and bathing products quality. Location away from busy street. Food options western close. Roof pool. Disliked. The city itself. A/c on with card only one keycard only. No balcony.
Was a noisy area and was not told on hotels.com, would be good to know when making a choice. Although the ear plugs in Roman helped a bit.
A hidden gem close to the nightlife !
Nice clean rooms with a nice courtyard for meals and drinks. Friendly staff at reception and dining with good quality breakfast options. Two minute walk to the nightlife of Kho San Road with many bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Bangkok.
This was a great location; close to Khaosan but away from the craziness, great courtyard off the road. Didn’t eat the restaurant, but looked good from the few meals I noticed people eating. Taxis are right outside the hotel, only used one once, otherwise used Grab. Clean rooms, decent size bathroom. If you plan on going to bed before 10pm, you will hear the live music in the lobby, but, it’s just a singer and a acoustic guitar. I didn’t find it that bad. They did provide ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. If I were to stay in the Khaosan area again I would stay there.
Stylish and comfortable in the heart of Khaosan Rd
Perfect location. Very cool and stylish hotel right in the thick of it next to the Khaosan Road. Comfortable, well designed and fitted out. Only downside, which is unsurprising given the location, is it is incredibly noisy until the early hours. But that will be the same for anywhere so close to the thick of the Khaosan road action!
Great pool. Close to Khosan Road. Enjoy the live music in the evening Only down side is the noise. However everything shuts down fairly early so it is manageable.
Great room in a great location
Great room size clean and well decorated Super comfy bed. Be careful if the room is on the road side it can be very noisy.
Really nice and easy to get to hot places. but a bit noisy.
Good option for a short visit
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a great location and there was a lot happening around. The only down fall like most have stated is that it is noisy, but the hotel provides ear plugs. Just note the hotel does not have irons available or a laundry service. Over all it was a good stay for a short time.
Close to Khao San Road Nice room but quite old and dame
Very close to Khoa San Road, but still quiet enough to be able to enjoy some rest.
Khaosan Road area
ideal location around the corner from KSR..Friendly helpful staff, quick check in & out..decent wifi..overall no problem will stay here again.
lovely hotel, lively area
this hotel is a beautiful hotel - the front of it is a restaurant called the Courtyard, outdoor seating, so it doesn't look like a hotel when we first pulled up. the front desk is rather pushed back into the background, so coming and going, you need never deal with staff unless you want to. The maids though, you see every day into the evening. the room itself is beautiful, it's wood and done in a ' indochine' style, to me the bathroom looked very french. the bed was very comfortable, as well the bedding and pillows. The minibar was nicely stocked, along with bags of nuts and noodle soups ( prices reasonable). the 5th floor is the pool area, and it seemed like it never closes, as you can just go up there via stairs or elevator. the pool area is very nice, and the while hotel is clean. it's sandwiched in between a Burger King and a Starbucks, as well there are ATMS right there. There is live music nightly, so if it's noise you want to avoid, this may not be the place for you, but all of Khao San may not be the place for you! that said, it is in an area that has everything .. food drinks shopping merchants craziness people everywhere always. still, we stayed in this area for one week, and the hotel itself was a contributing factor.
Good
Very good
Comfortable experience.
Very nice stay, hotel was close to everything, had a good vibe about it,yes overall a good experience.
Excellent
Couldn't fault it in any way. Location is perfect, and the room and bathroom are alot nicer than you would expect for the price/location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and AC was good!
Great hotel, great location, great price!
From the minute we checked in, the customer service was outstanding. We have a really amazing time, the location was ideal, the hotel is great. We spent our last 3 days in Thailand at the Baan Chart, and I am glad we made that choice. I would stay here again and again. The staff knew it was our honeymoon and made our room up to reflect that. It was a really nice touch.
Located at Kaosan Road. Nice room decoration but too much noise out there.
Excellent place for Khao San Rd and Rambuttri
Great location, if that's what you're looking for (Khao San Rd and Rambuttri). Very clean hotel and beautiful rooms, well equipped with everything you need - hairdryer, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities. The rooms aren't well sound proofed at all, so they provide ear plugs! If you're choosing in this area, then you need to expect loud music until late at night, especially at the weekends. Having said that, you can't hear anything from Khao San Rd nor Rambuttri, just the music from the bar downstairs. Breakfast is ordered off the menu rather than buffet which makes a nice change. There's a Starbucks and Burger King downstairs too for those of you who can't bear to give up western. things, though a further 10 second walk, and you'll find street food vendors and cafes and restaurants serving up cheap delicious food. Highly recommend "Magic Thai Food" restaurant on Rambuttri which is cheap and delicious and you're entertained by a lovely man doing magic!!
Close to fun night life!
We were greated with tea immediately and was allowed to drop our bags in their locker room before check in time. We only stayed one night but enjoyed very much. Very close proximity to Khaosan road which has great market and night life!
Great location.
Really enjoyed our stay here. It's a great location to visit the grand palace and wat pho. It's also right next to koh San Road. The pool is also a very welcome relief from the madness of Bangkok. Our only problem was the thickness of the door. Given it's proximity to koh San Road, it was quite loud outside and you could still hear most of it from the room. I would probably not recommend this hotel if you are a light sleeper and need a little quiet in order to sleep.
Good location close to bars and restaurants
Nice, helpful staff, good location, great Wi-Fi :-)
A little gem...
A cosy hotel I would recommend to anyone. Great location, staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.
Good hotel overall but a bit noisy. Good value for the money but the food in the restaurant is not up to par :)
Great position near Khaosan Rd,also near palace, plenty of market stalls. Altho heaps of bars, etc I didn't find noise a problem factor at all. Adored the small rooftop pool, mind you I was in the low season so not being used by many people during my stay. Definitely would stay here again.
Okay hotel
Ac was bad, cute decoration, nice location. Hotel staff was very nice.
GOOD BUT LACKING IN GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
The hotel hasn't grasped that airline passengers arrive at all times and if the room is ready allow them access. I was told I couldn't have my room until 2.00pm, a wait of 3 hours. Offering to pay half the room rate, they informed me that the room was ready. I declined and eventually they relented. In fairness, the following day they apologised and gave me a free meal. My wife asked for the address in Thai and was told she could Google it! Rooms are good 3 star but lack power points and there is no hot water supply to the handbasin. Restaurant food excellent quality but pricey for the area. The 2000THB room deposit is an outrage for this aspIred quality of hotel up from 500 last year.
Recommendable
Very good location, friendly staff. Not negative review. Overall, it's a good place to stay, specially if you want to have nightlife in Khao San Road but not directly in the middle of the mess
Good value, excellent customer service
Very good customer service from the reception to the housekeeping
Nice stay
Very nice stay
Good hotel right in the heart of it !
Great location if you want to hit the night scene. Very busy location not suitable if you want an early night ! Rooms are adequate with comfortable beds. Nice pool area.
the hotel itself was good, but the noise really annoying
Perfect for a night on khoa san road
This hotel was exactly what we needed for a night out on khoa san road. My husband and i were welcomed with a drink and towel service, which was much appreciated. The room was clean and basic, the shower was nice and we had plenty of toiletries. The hotel uses an actual key to lock the doors which i wasnt too fond of but the safe inside the room made me feel comfortable. Wasnt as loud as people made it out to be. Perfect location for what we wanted.
Nice place, nice environment. Great nightlife. There are pubs, markets, and lots of food at night.
Lively area for nightlife so expected some noise, however it was nothing ear plugs didn't fix. Air con was a bit weak. Overall comfortable, nicely decorated hotel with some character. Would recommend!
location is hoping, charming hotel but loud.
Charming hotel nice rooms very helpful staff. The location is great if your looking for something around crowds, bars, clubs, and Late night activities It was a nice hotel we were just looking for something a little more quiet
Nice hotel close to Khaosan
Very nice hotel a street away from Khaoson street and a 10 minute walk from the Royal Palace! The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big. I strongly recommend this hotel if you're going to be going out in Khaoson at night because it's not in the craziness, but it's still close enough to hear the noise at night. If you don't want to go out at night, you should choose a less noisey area.
Nice hotel central to sights
Had a bit of trouble finding the place to begin with.... very central to many sites ....great first impression of Thailand.... .... not easy to get to subway in timely matter.... did scooter taxi and water taxi both took lots of time to get to BTS...
Great hotel around the corner from Khaosan Rd
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and even though I had never been in Thailand before were able to direct me in my native English.
Nice hotel but so noisy
The hotel is very well located, near Khaosan, and at a walking distance to the Grand Palace. The hotel amenities are fine, the bed also, so what's the problem you're asking? Well, two problems, the noise and the light in the corridor that gets into the room. The noise doesn't come from Khaosan rd but Rambuttri alley which is closer and noisier. The room door and window are not sound proof at all, on the contrary, they are very thin and flimsy, and it is so noisy at night, impossible to get a good sleep, which is what you expect from a hotel. I asked the reception if they have quieter rooms, which they don't, and they offered me ear plugs. The room door is not plain but has stylish glasses, which looks good, but let's the light gets in and there are no curtains so the room is very bright at night. We had to improvise a curtain to get some kind of darkness. Bottom line, if you want to party all night and don't care about the noise and sleep quality, this is a hotel for you, otherwise, look elsewhere. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good.
Room is so small. Toilet dont have a bidet shower. And light is too dark. Dont have any desk for working But ok for cleanilrss
Great location, clean friendly and good food
A lovely hotel with great service. In a great location but can be a little loud from street traffic.
Good hotel
Given a local fruit drink upon. Check in
good location, near party, but far enough away, transport on river close
Sound endurance
Definitely not 4 star. Very dark room with weak light spots. Live music 25m away will not let you sleep untill 2300 hrs, but bar next door go's on with eartquake like bass sounds untill 0200 hrs.
Two sides of the same coin
The bed was quite cozy and the size of the room was enough for me alone. I am not sure that it is still enough for you in case which there is a companion. I slept very well for the bed's quality was so nice to sleep. Plus, the interior itself is very unique and modern. They are equipped with the necessary amenities in a room. The problem is its location. It has two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, it is located in the area so close to the Khaosan Road. You can enjoy until night without worrying returning the room. On the other hand, it can be noisy because the room is too close to the corridor so as to hear anything from outside. Hence that can make you bothered. And the absence of the window can be another problem if you are the one who hope to get the sunshines. And it would be better if an indoor sleeper has been there. Ah, swimming pool is really small...
Baan Chart Hotel
Clean and pleasant stay for one night. Was able to walk to nighttime activities and catch taxis easily.
Best option for a nice room in this district.
So glad we booked here. Location couldn't be better for backpacker district. Nicest option we saw for accommodation. Rooms so nicely designed and kept clean. WiFi good. This area not close to any metro but we took the river boat lots or taxis which are really cheap. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. Would recommend and stay again ourselves in future.
good~!!!
It was fine. I can recommend this place to my friends. I was pretty satisfied with most of condition except for the light. the light was very weak, which was hard for me to do something in the room. but the location is perfectly good, you don't get to bothered by any noise of club or bar. It doesn't mean that it is far to Khaosan Road. it is on the right side.
Happy with our stay
Great 3 day stay here, loved the decor of the room and bathroom.very close to khoa san road, and has atm and burger king on site as well as a pool and its own bar and resteraunt
Recommend!
Had good time staying at Baan Chart. Good staff. Good communication in English. Great location. Not noisy from clubs in khaosan road. Breakfast was good enough. The only thing i wasn't happy was room was pretty dark. I stayed pretty long hours but couldn't read anything. That was it. Happy with the hotel overall.
Nice Hotel, Great Location!
Depending on what you want in Bangkok, this hotel may be perfect for you. If you dont mind noise and are there for a lively good time then this is the place. If you dont like noise at night you wont like it. Either way, being at the end of Kao San Rd made it a very fun place for us to stay our last couple nights in Thailand. A lot of food options and enterntainment/shopping near by. The staff was very nice and we had no problems with our room.
Very nice cozy hotel
Nice hotel. Very close to nightlife. Actually, so close that you even here it at night.
Great hotel, loud location
This hotel, if built anywhere else, would be a 5 star review. It's clean, nice looking and the staff was very helpful. It's got a nice, open-air bar restaurant downstairs and even an attached starbucks if you're into that. The water pressure was a little wonky. However it's smack at the end of the most tourist-y streets I've ever seen. Venice Beach, CA - Lincoln Road, FL - this is worse. There are drunken tourists stumbling all over the place here and while most stay in hostels nearby, plenty can certainly afford this hotel as well. So if you're looking for a quiet peaceful stay, look elsewhere. If you don't mind the noise and party atmosphere, this is a great hotel.
Quaint hotel in the heart of old Bangkok!
This hotel was better than I expected! Super cute room with with Thai decor, walking distance to many temples, restaurants and shops. The roof top pool was such an added bonus after a day of walking in the heat. The Thai massage at the spa was an experience! The only downside was the noise but a pair of earplugs helped with that. I'd stay here again!
Loved this place!!!!
I loved this hotel. It was So cute and perfect for the solo traveller. Close to Khoasan road and other tourist attractions. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. I had no problems sleeping at night. Literally steps from Khoasan road and shopping, food vendors and tourist office where you can book day tours and airport shuttle. Starbucks right next door which I loved. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Not much lighting in the rooms though so made it hard to read at night but that wasn't a big deal. Small roof top pool was great for relaxing after a day of touring around and a nice quite tanning deck with comfortable chairs. Great live music in the evenings which you can hear from the rooms which I lived but some people might not enjoy the noise. I would definitely recommend this place. I loved it.
A little loud, party scene. close to restaurants and nice temple across street. Creepiest tuk-tuk drivers of all time! Foot massage around the corner was necessary, and successful. Nice tourist market and friendly people. Too crowded at night in the streets.
Nice hotel by Khao san road
Nice hotel close to kho san road if that is your cup of tea.
Cool
Ask for a room next the pool. The only negativ point is the air conditioning, too strong and direct in front beds
Awesome Hotel
Really comfy, really hospitable staff, 2 mins from K'S Road. Best hotel out of the 6-7 hotels stayed in Thailand.
Best Hotel in the area.
Best hotel in the area if a little overpriced.
Safe wonderful Haven in the heart of the world par
Delightful surprise, when the party was never ending, I could in style.
Lovely rooms!
Great rooms. Given the location it gets noisy until around 2 am.

Five stars
Great hotel, in convenient location, for a short stay in Bangkok
