The hotel was in a great location . Close to beach and the 3-5 km boardwalk . Hotel had a great covered outdoor seating area where you can just sit and people watch . We enjoyed our stay at the Avatar. The staff are great & it is in a convenient location to access the beach & surrounding attractions in Da Nang.

The location and service at this hotel is the best. There are all types of shops and restaurants around within walking distance. The staff are so friendly and nice, they went out of their way to help customers. The breakfast buffet is good, there are many different choices every day. We will stay here again.

Just average standard

Bad odors from the bathrooms sewer. Kitchen had nothing, no utensils, no cooking pots or pans....totally nothing. Average 3* hotel instead.

We stayed about 2 weeks. Barely could use the TV and the bath tub leaked through the shower. It’s in a great location but that is all you are paying for here. Service was good over all. Last 3 days there was banging like construction was occurring in the hotel non stop. We were on the 9th floor. Amenities are nice but average for the area and price. You can do better for the area but not awful. Fridge didn’t keep any food or drinks cold. No microwave and for this kind of hotel that was surprising. The bar connected to the hotel was very nice. Food and drinks were great. Gym is very minimal.

Excellent staff

We booked a deluxe room with an ocean view, the room we were given didn't have much of an ocean view at all, fortunately we were able to swap room due to the bathroom configuration was not to our satisfaction. The hotel was very accommodating and gave us a new room - it was fantastic, love the new bathroom - awesome ocean view just a shame it was from the bathroom not the bedroom There was a water pipe breakage on some of the hotel floors, including our floor, resulting in no hot water. We were given access to another floor to shower, pipe was fixed next day. Hotel provided a plate of freshly cut fruit as a compensation for the inconvenience, which I thought was a lovely gesture. Hotel buffet breakfast was ok, with a selection of different menus to choose from on a daily basis - hot and miss in regards to the taste and menus. We had a total of 3 rooms booked, there were minor issues with either the air con not working in one of the rooms and not enough bath towels provided in another, in addition to the hot water issue, however the hotel was quite accommodating and prompt. The location of the hotel was great, a very short walk to the beach, many restaurants, bars, mini marts, massage salons within metres of the hotel. Overall it was a nice stay, good value for money

The bathroom tub is not really clean. The towels are not enough. Water from the tub goes to the floor.

Stay here! This hotel is amazing! Our room was spectacular, with incredible sea views! Breakfast, which is included, was a great selection. This was my favorite hotel in our travels in Vietnam !

Slow down after Hanoi chaos

I wish we stayed longer. Big city with small town atmosphere. China Sea beach --miles of sand and waves. Get up early and Xerxise with thelocal on the beach. Fun.

he property was located conveniently between the beach and the interior. The exterior walkways were not clean...Specifically the courtyard area.

Disappointing

This property posts itself as a 4 star. It is a 3 star hotel. Due to an error, our room was upgraded to a suite which made us a feel better . . . until we moved into the room. The kitchen/living room area smelled strongly of sewer gas and the windows were not clean. Our bedroom and bath were clean and comfortable. The hotel advertises a "sea view" without adding the detail that it is only a partial view of the ocean and is blocked by 8 high rise hotels. The complementary breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, but the dinner was average at best. The beach is three blocks with a busy crossing away.

Run down hotel which needs refurbishment.

Very run down hotel with very unpleasant odour at the lobby. Windows with dirty stains, door cannot lock, hairdryer spoilt, no kettle provided. Photo taking corner not showing correct year, still showing 2018 instead of the brand new year 2019. The hi tea main door very midleading. Signboard showing leading to restaurant but door is locked. End up hv to use the exit staircase to go up to the restaurant, which feel so weird. Think only yr hotel has this exit door to restsurant, which guests would not hv known.

Excellent service.

We had a wonderful time. Location was excellent. Lots of options to eat out. Staff and food was excellent. Only downside was the pool received limited sun during of stay. Overall highly recommend. Staff went out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our daughter celebrated her 14th Birthday where she felt extra special , special table settings and arranged a cake.

Great location, 3-4 minutes walk from the beach. Clean rooms. Just the beds not very confortable, hard mattress. Lots of eating places around in walking distance.

Excellent location to experience quality of life in An Thuong with a variety of good restaurants Vietnamese, Mexican, Indian etc. Great place also to relax and enjoy a few drinks in some of the local bars. The beach is maybe 1-2 minutes from the hotel. Transport to Bana Hills, Hoi An etc. is available from the hotel at a very reasonable price. Roof top bar and grill on 22 nd floor offering great scenic views of DaNang out to sea and inland to the mountains. Well recommended. Also for Families. As with all Vietnamese, they constantly want to support and help. So friendly.

A pleasant hotel with helpful staff

Great hotel. Generally happy with everything although room was a little smallish and the luggage rack is only big enough for a tiny suitcase. The view at the top was spectacular. A little way to travel to main entertainment and dining areas but transport is cheap so no big problem.

A pleasant stay

The hotel is located about 15-20mins from the airport and the taxi fare by meter is approx VD130,000. Be careful of touts or even the guys manning the taxis who asked us for VD380,000 and special discount of VD250,000! Luckily had sense to directly ask taxi driver before getting in. Upon arrival, the location is not too bad, surrounded by decent restaurants and a convenient store opposite. Easy access to the beach but had to be careful crossing the main road. Hotel staff were attentive, polite, friendly and service was quick. Breakfast buffet had nice variety. The superior room was spacious and the bed was big. Overall, decent, clean and we had pleasant stay.

Can't go wrong. Wonderful staff

In the tourist epicentre with wonderfully accommodating staff and such a helpful manager Trung. Well positioned and we'll appointed. The breakfast is great and caters to all cultures Staff will go out of their way to help Rooms are very clean and surprisingly quiet There is a lot of construction everywhere we have been I'm Vietnam and the general suburb here is no exception but it matters not.

We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel to everyone including family and friends. The staff are well trained and pleasant to talk to👍

Great hotel for the money. Location,view and over all experience was wonderful. I would recommend Avatar Hotel highly for anyone. We booked for 2 nites and luckily we were able to extend another 2 nites.

we hated to say goodbye to the staff, as they were so pleasant and helpful. smiling faces everywhere. Lan, Henry, Hung, were wonderful to us. so nice to know we have friends on the other side of the world.

Great Accommodation Experience

Staying at Avatar Danang Hotel was truly satisfying and pleasant. The staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms that we stayed in were cleaned and comfortable. Room services were great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who would be visiting Danang.

Our stay here was excellent. The staff will do anything for you and are very polite. Room was great and very comfortable. Offering free buffet breakfast every day with the cost of the room was outstanding. We were even able to invite our friends for breakfast at minimal cost. Highly rated and recommends for anyone wanting a few days stay in Da Nang

Nice hotel close to the beach

I had the best sleep in a week at Avartar. Great bed that made me sleep soundly, even better than the 5 star resort i put up at in Hoi An. The air freshener was a bit too overwhelming in the living area of my junior suite tho. My partner was rather uncomfortable for the stay.

Poor services of the hotel

Upgrade me but without bathtub so not point for it. Promised will inform me next day when people check out but didn't perform it as well. Overall poor services of the hotel & sales person also unprofessional when reply email if we ask more queries. Housekeeping also didn't sweep the floor at shower area. The container didn't indicate clearly which one is Shampoo, Conditioner & bath gel so I not dare to use it. Really disappointed of 4 star hotel in Danang. I think that hotel only can get 2 Star compare with Hoi An hotel since poor of services & careless of the staffs. Please check the room 707 carefully when do housekeeping.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to beach. Rooms are dated and bed not comfortable. Air in hotel could be fresher. Spa service is ok. Paid 72 per night which I say is worth it. As the saying goes you get what you pay for

Hotel

Pro - hotel staff was awesome here. I stayed here for five days and four nights. By she second day, the staff already knew what room number I was in when I would go get breakfast. When I called from the room, someone would come within two minutes. Now that's fast service! Nice view on the top floor for drinks and afternoon tea. Con - the room was dirty. I felt like my sheets and towels were not the cleanest. There was hair on the bathroom that I know did not belong to me. There were fruit flies in the room!!!! Not just 1 or 2, but I would end up having to kill a ton everyday! I talked to my brother who was staying in another room and he had the same problem. It just made the room feel unsanitary with fruit flies flying around. The pool on the website also does not look like the pool they have. The pool that they have is right by the restaurant on the 3rd floor and around the perimeter of the pool is a foot of fake grass... Because of the staff, they deserve a five star rating but based on the room conditions, i would give it a 3. I don't see myself staying here again.

Dirty Hotel

Buds in room. Too dirty. Cleaning staffs were too sloppy in their work. Got bites all over feet. Only compensation was a cheap ride back to airport. To improve this hotel, the cleaning staffs either must be re-train or just fire them all.

A bit out of the way, but excellent property.easy access for trip to Hoi An.

Family travel

Location is good, not too noisy in daytime. Walking distance to major attractions. Government buildings surrounding feel more safe in the area.

Close to beach, very friendly and attentive staff

The staff cannot do enough for you, they look to see what they can do for you rather than stand there and wait to be asked. Everything was very good from the swimming pool, the bar and restaurant on the top 18th floor and the breakfast was huge with plenty of variety

Nice hotel close to beach & tasteful breakfast

Near to beach by walking distance, so i can go to beach every morning & evening. Morning breakfast with various fruits, cereal and asian cuisine were provided by hotel. I enjoyed with friends wandering around Danang city and outskirt by motorcycle (cheap rental of VDN100k/day+petrol VDN40k/day) daily. At night, i went to restaurant for fresh cooked seafood and beer at nearer bars. Feel free and retreat for my short holidays.

Ok hotel

It was ok. Close to beach but I wasn't that impressed. Little English, slow elevators, and it took half an hour to get a club sandwich.

A Pleasant Hotel

The hotel is pleasant, good service from reception staff, nice buffet breakfast, 5 mins walk to the beach but too many constructions in the surrounding. There is a Korean mini mart opposite the hotel, several good eateries short walk from hotel. The lounge on 18th floor has a fantastic view at the moment. Might be partially block when the higher buildings are completed. The massage at the hotel is really great! Overall a enjoyable stay!

Nice hotel with excellent service

We spent 5 nights at the hotel and being impressed every single day of their service until we left. Most of their staff members are very helpful. It locates near the beach and we had the rooms with sea view. Their buffet breakfast was really good. We walked along the beach for approximately 30 minutes to the seafood place. We also explored some good restaurants and spa nearby.

Superb hospitality by the hotel

I was amazed with the staff service in the restaurant that serves daily breakfast. They bring tea or coffee to you. Once you've been there, they remember your room number and who has tea or coffee.

Cozy Hotel with Beautiful Beach View

We booked the premier suite for 4 people and the room was very spacious. It has living room that has sea view. The beach is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Stayed 4 nights and would definitely would like to come back next time we visit Da Nang.

Good Location

Comfy beds, room cleanliness satisfactory, pls bring your own shower gel and shampoo. Location easy to get cab to nearby shopping mall and market. Hotel very strict with no. of pax staying, even a child sharing bed with us, don't require extra bed, they insist we have to pay for the child when we checking in.

Good location to the marble mountains & lady budda

There were lots of dust on airconditioner & ventilator. Room was big. Good for families. The buffet restaurant needs ventilation. So hot and smelly.

Outstanding service

Service of the hotel is good. All staff are friendly and helpful. However, shower water is freezing cold. A hot and comfortable shower is the basic need after a day's activities even in summer. Won't recommend this hotel unless one doesn't mind a cold shower.

very good value for money. close to the ocean and a b unch of restaurants. th breakfast is avarage but the hotel spa is really good. the rooms are really spacious nothing to complain about there. the airport is less than 15 min away!! the taxis ar cheap. you should consider using taxi for your tours to the neighboring UNESCO sites. the cost would be signifantly lower than hotel arranged tours

Amazing Hotel!

We were able to book through Expedia and got a really good rate so we were very surprised to see what a top class luxury hotel it was. It has everything you need, close to the beach and the staff go out of their way to help you. The food selection was outstanding with three restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was a buffet of delectable tastes for every pallet. We loved it!

The room was big, breakfast had many varieties. Staffs were so helpfuf and friendly. However, this hotel should be rated 3.5 stars instead of 4.

The beach is very close to the hotel you can walk to the beach only 2minutes...the swimming pool is good but quiet deep.....and the room is very very fantastic...

High quality rooms, but average facilities

The rooms are excellent - clean, modern, well-furnished. The breakfast was average, and the pool/pool area was very small. The gym was also disappointingly small and uninviting. However, the best facility was the free use of the sauna and the steam bath - the spa was modern, well-designed, well-equipped, good music, and those facilities were exceptional. Proximity to the beach - it was near, but unfortunately, the path to the beach was unpleasant. It was a small road which was not very clean, had less than desirable road side eateries paving the way, and was separated from the beach by a 3 or 4 lane road with heavy traffic. If you value a beachfront resort and do not mind paying significantly more, don't choose this hotel. But if you don't mind all of the above, it is certainly very value for money given the exceptionally high quality of the rooms. FYI - stayed with 5 people @ the Premier Suite - added an extra bed. IT has 2 bathrooms.

Decent business hotel

It was a decent hotel for the price point. Staff were friendly and room is spacious and huge. The only 2 minor negatives were 1) super slow lift (sometimes you have to wait 4 minutes before it arrives, but thankfully it only happened twice during my 6 nights stay there). 2) the cleaning staff on my level talks very loudly at 6am when they start cleaning. By loud, i mean, if i could understand Vietnamese, I could hear every word exchange type of loud. And they were at least 10m away from my room based on the keyhole.

Great hotel with beach within walking distance.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a lovely suite and it had a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. We were able to view sunrise and sunset from different parts of the room. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and professional and assisted us with bookings for our tours.

Great hotel and location but...

The room is amazing and spacious nice seaview from the big bathroom and great location. Would recommend the suite to anyone! The bad experience is that I booked the room for two people as I have friends here and they might stay with me when I meet them (not all of them at once of course, max 2) and the reception told me that I booked for only one person which is wrong. Don't assume just because I check-in alone this means only one person is staying (use the original booking instead) as I'm traveling to visit my friends too! And then they didn't allow my friend to go up to stay with me as she's considered a visitor after 10pm and need some sort of ID. I've stayed in many hotels in my life and only one ID is needed for check-in which is mine and I can bring my friend or girlfriend to stay with me as I booked for 2 people and I shouldn't be stopped to go to my room with my friend/girlfriend. I can bring whoever I want as long it's 2 people max in the room, no questions asked! And then I asked to speak to the manager who can't even speak English. You don't even have any regulations or book in the room about all those conditions, so you can't just make them up by just speaking. Then next day another friend came to visit me and same thing again and it gets worse!

Walking distance to beach is a plus. Hotel is tucked away from main street which kept noise level down at night. However there was a lot of construction going on around the area during the day time which made it very dusty and noisy. Daily breakfast included in price of hotel is a plus. The staff were very attentive to our needs. Excellent customer service.

Wonderful hotel close to the beach

Beautiful hotel , the junior suite exceeded my expectations . Very spacious and clean. The staff was excellent and was very helpful. The food was excellent , especially the breakfast buffet . If you are going to Danang I highly recommend the Avatar hotel.

New hotel /a few hiccups

Hotel is brand new (opened August 2015) was very nice, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. First fault no White wine sold at present only Red and that is served up COLD. Dining room at Dinner time needs some mood lighting currently have it turned up to Max very off putting. Swimming pool has been built wrong side of hotel, you only get a small window of sun, as most Sun is on the WEST side of hotel, and pool is very small. Deck chairs around pool not suitable to sit on, because of there construction, as soon as you put a dry towel on chair you will slide off as soon as you sit on it.... and last but not least no clocks on side table by your bed!!

가성비 숙소로 선택했습니다. 17층 꼭대기 층에 투숙해서 바라보는 풍경은 좋았고,넓었습니다. 방 2개 거실 주방 식탁 화장실 2개 이렇게요^^ 그런데 생긴지 오래된 호텔인지 시설은 살짝 오래된 느낌이고, 조식은 그냥 빵과 간단한 과일, 시리얼 정도만 먹는다고 생각하시면 크게 부족하지 않을 것 같아요~^^ 근처 맛집도 많고 야시장도 있고 위치는 좋습니다!

Mycket fint hotell! Låg bra med gångavstånd till både strand, restauranger och massage. Personalen var väldigt serviceminded. Frukosten fräsch och fina allmänna utrymmen. Kan bara rekommendera!

After more than 3 years of the Covid pandemic, my family and I returned to Da Nang, and we chose Avatar Hotel for our vacation. We were impressed by the hotel's new appearance, with the entire lobby and café in the front made entirely of bamboo. We were welcomed with delicious warm welcome drinks, and the receptionists assisted us in checking in early. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the pho and the fresh fruit juice counter. The restaurant staff were friendly and enthusiastic, remembering the dining preferences of each member of my family. The service at the spa was also excellent, with skilled spa technicians, and complimentary use of the steam room. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. There were also many convenient shops, restaurants, and bars around the hotel. Thanks to all the staff at Avatar Hotel Da Nang for giving my family a memorable vacation.
