A great place to stay for a few days while visiting Yosemite. We stayed for just one night and really enjoyed it. The area is picturesque nestled just outside the national park. There are a few food and drink options on site but I would suggest visiting a whole foods or supermarket nearby to get something for dinner. Breakfast options are available from the lobby however.
Outdoorsy but with a STYLE
The hotel is approx 40 min drive from Yosemite park entrance. We stayed at an Airstream suite, which was absolutely awesome and comfortable. The trailer is small but efficient and has everything you need for an outdoor experience for those who are not really comfortable for sleeping outdoors. The hotel has a pool and activities which we did not use. Do buy the smores package and some wood and have a treat!
Communal areas are beautiful. Airstreams are nice but very close to one another, so noisy. Food is limited and basically inedible, bring your own.
Nice concept , needs more work on the execution . Parking is really tight , tents very close to each other, no bathroom or water facilities except in the main area , so some tents are a very long walk to the bathroom Staff is very helpful and friendly
Very good!!
Loved our stay in AutoCamp. Travelled with family of two little 8 year old and the place is awesome
Very unique experience. Fun for 2 nights but I wouldn’t stay longer due to very small space. Walking park only so be prepared and packed appropriately to walk to your tent/camper. They do have carts which is helpful but be prepared to pull them on dirt walkways. The main cabin area is really nice for showers, the pool, and some food options.
Don’t recommend
Location is nice but they are woefully understaffed. They made us wait two hours after check in for our room to be available. Upon getting to our room, another couple was there! The staff were not helpful. Additionally, the small ac in the tent was insufficient and it was very hot.
We had a great Autocamp experience in the Airstream, and the overall property. I think the clubhouse showers were rundown and not as clean as it should be. The pool had a broken light that was detached and floating around. The towels and bedding had dark stains that looked like brown dirt.
Overall, the experience was okay, but there were some notable issues. Proximity of Tents and Airstreams: The tents and Airstreams are much closer together than expected, all lined up in a row. Since the tents weren't soundproof, we could hear every word from our neighbors. This lack of privacy was disappointing for what was supposed to be a 'luxury tent' experience. Quiet Hours Not Enforced: Quiet hours start at 10 PM, but our neighbors continued playing music, laughing, and chatting. We called the front desk, and although they sent someone to check, they claimed they didn't hear anything. Meanwhile, the noise continued. The situation worsened after midnight with people laughing, running around, and using flashlights. We barely got any sleep. Make sure to bring earplugs and an eye mask if you stay here. Lack of Amenities in Tents: The tent did not have running water, a bathroom, or showers. Our tent was located the furthest from the clubhouse, so it required quite a bit of walking, which was not very convenient. These issues significantly impacted our stay and left us quite disappointed.
We really enjoyed the facilities and the general vibe of AutoCamp. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the free coffee and granola, and happy hours in the communal areas were nice touches. The site is well located to explore two of the Yosemite gates too. However, for what we paid, the cabin really needs some more attention to upkeep and cleanliness. A lot of the bathroom in particular was dusty and the appliances were covered in limescale. The furniture was also beginning to look a bit tired. For one of the more premium options around Yosemite, I would have hoped for better upkeep. Still a nice property but time for a refresh.
One of the best experiences in my life; a very cozy and warm stay for Yosemite and Mariposa
We loved our stay here. The team at Autocamp are simply amazing! It was our first time doing something like this and we enjoyed everything. The little activities each night and the convenience of it all is great. Highly recommmed doing this if your going up to yosemite. Much better than staying in a regular hotel.
Overall is excellent, but the location is far away to most of Yosemite landmarks and trails.
Unique accomodation in a beautiful area!
Great
Good spot to spend some time with fam
Fun
We loved our stay so much. We were in Airstream 78, which was at the top of a hill with only two others nearby. It was secluded and felt very VIP. We appreciated the golf cart bellhop service and other amenities throughout our stay. The Airstream was wildly comfortable and well equipped. We ate literally everything they serve (breakfast, lunch, cocktails, and a grill kit) and loved it all. The pool was great on a hot day and my kids loved making shirts and catching frogs. I just wish there was music piped through the lounge and pool areas. My boys are already asking when we can go back.
Awesome
We loved our thoughtfully designed airstream trailer. It comfortably sleeps two adults with one private bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living area/kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot shower water. The AC was excellent and kept our airstream at a perfect temp. The camp cats were a pleasant surprise greeting us every day at our site. The staff earns an A . We asked for extra blanket and were kindly offered a complimentary duvet. We also had trouble finding parking the second of our stay as there was an event on the property. The front desk staff quickly moved their car to allow us to park. Overall, I highly recommend AutoCamp Yosemite. It's worth the splurge.
Certain items around and inside airstreams need to be replaced or updated. Overall the feel is great, however there could be some paint touch ups, couch cleaning etc.
I really enjoyed my stay here, very relaxing. Staff was very nice! I will definitely will be staying here again. Thank you!
Cute glamp ground. Pricey - but worth it if this is what you’re into. Not much to do in the actual campground. They have a small pool. I would recommend this if you need a place to stay while going inside Yosemite and you can afford the hefty price tag.
Amazing place
1hour from Yosemite. Clean.
Glamping at its finest! Beautiful amenities, love the toiletries and all the activities especially bingo night
The hotel is nice and very unique. I booked a family cabin which has one queen bed and one double sofa bed. The description said the room can fit and sleep four people. I have two kids , 7 and 14. The double sofa bed is too small to fit the kids. And uncomfortable to sleep the whole night. They should give more details about it. So I would have an idea to book a bigger room.
It would be better if there is more options for dinning
The camp itself is beautiful and peaceful. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Our cabin appeared rather tired and well-used which was disappointing. The website described the camp as having dining with an a-la-carte menu serving breakfast lunch and dinner, however this is actually frozen ready meals which are simply heated in the oven by the receptionist and served with plastic cutlery in a plastic container. There was also only one table inside….. and a few sofa seats so we didn’t actually have anywhere we could sit down properly to eat which was hard with a young child. I think the website should make it clearer that it is more a camping experience than a resort with a proper restaurant. Having said that the communal areas are really nice with a lovely fire and the general store is also great.
This was out first time booking with autocamp and I can’t wait to do it again. We booked the tent, basically glamping. We went to the yosemite site in early spring and the heated blankets made the cold nights perfectly manageable! Super comfy bed. Clean bathrooms, fun evening events and good margs. Already looking forward to booking for Sequoia next year.
We have great experince first time at AutoCamp. We rent the room airstream; It is very clean and provide proper facilities for cooking and camping. Roger, the clubhouse specialist introduce the all convenience good for camping and drinking, I really thank him for helping us to have great experience in AutoCamp. Walking around the pond, listening live band are perfect experience on Sunday night.
This is an interesting concept for people to explore staying in RV/airstream without worrying about driving them around. It’s little far from Yosemite village, so do plan for extra hour to reach there. Each unit is equipped with everything needed for comfortable stay. Water flow in shower is little slow. Few food options are available and store and other items for purchase.
A service
I recommend this little getaway if you are looking for a peaceful and romantic destination with your SO. 10/10 and my Husband and I will be coming back.
We have stayed here before but this time felt that it was a bit run down. Sofas were stained and the airstreams not very clean. The areas around the airstream need heavier rock so it’s not as muddy.
Went during off season, so no crowds. Nice facility, and airstream. Perfect for families.
Great glamping.
I love this place!!
This place was amazing, super clean, and friendly stuff. Highly recommended.
One of a kind experience. Really enjoyed staying here with my husband in the airstream. Clean amenties and very kind and helpful staff. Clubhouse offers another hangout area when the airstream gets too small. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Nice place to gateway
I love how relaxing our stay. You’ll feel secured because the staff’s are always driving around. It’s quiet , great place to spend you weekend to get some R&R
It was a good experience
We really enjoyed our stay here. The experience of just being out there with fire pit and stargazing was awesome. It looks a bit crowded in real life than in pictures but its not really a deal breaker since guests are respectful of each other. Staff are great too… always smiling and helpful. I just have to commend one of their staff who was alone manning the front desk and kitchen & just taking care of all of the guests. It was kinda stressful but she handled it very well. (I just didn’t get her name though)
the property is clean the front desk is very helpful and polite.
It was amazing trip for us, first time I bring my baby to camp she like it.
I like how theres a happy hour
The whole experience was great. The airstreams were amazing and even better than we thought. Definitely coming back and checking out their other locations.
Atmosphere was great.
The unique accomodation is what makes this place. Half price drinks from 4-6pm also helps! Great set up all round.

Really sweet place to glamp it out!
Loved this experience
It looks like the property already knows and doesn’t care based on previous feedback, but not having enough staff to take care of your property, have rooms ready in a timely manner, and have some basic cleaning and upkeep of the property is not an excuse. If you don’t have the staff then only offer the amount of rooms they can actually handle instead fully booking and making promises you can’t keep. That is dishonest. Also staff’s attitude was absolutely horrible basically saying it wasn’t their problem because they are understaffed. Lady working the front desk on 10/6 said it was none of my business when she couldn’t figure out my reservation and needed to ask another staff member for help. She went on to accuse me and the two customers before me of giving her attitude when rooms were not ready hours after they were promised. Maybe she was the one with the problem. Will never stay here again and would caution others as well.
Camping at its best
It was good the check in was long due to short staffing but we had an issue with our booking and they sorted a partial refund the airstream is so cool and unique. Everything you need is there to cook for yourself or just go grab a pizza and sit by the firepit
It was a great experience staying in AutoCamp Yosemite.
After searching for where to stay at traveling to Yosemite NP, we settled on Autocamp. We thought it would be cool to do something different. We stayed in one of the Airstreams, they're well designed for a non real RV stay, as you have a standard shower and toilet and not much of the inconveniences as to these types of Airstreams. It was certainly a different type of stay. Everything worked as per their website, and they are quite good at offering amenities and booking options through it. I will say that the bed was comfortable to sleep in, maybe we were to tired to notice anything else, but the spaces are confined. You can always walk out and sit outside. I didn't find the futon sofa practical for a couple's stay. We didn't turn on the TV, and didn't find the Bluetooth audio. In fact I brought a small Bose speaker which I left in my unit as I'm realizing as of right now. (White, clip on, round.) The premises are nice. The basecamp lobby is quite cool. The staff is young, they smile at reception. But I have to say I didn't find them courteous in the mornings. This is an experience stay, it should be well rounded. My advice is that if you're really into visiting the park, you may not have time to enjoy what autocamp has to offer. The YARTS stop is a huge plus. The location is ideal for many things in addition to the NP, just do consider that Yosemite Valley is a good 1 1/2 hour away without much traffic and if parking is available. I would stay here again.
This experience is so unique and fun! Unfortunately, the check in staff did not place our unit next to the second one occupied by my family. I'm not sure why they couldn't do this for us, but anyone booking more than one unit should be very careful to specify that you want your family placed together onsite.
ACs of the airstreams made noises during the night, and makes tent guests hardly enjoy the quiet atmosphere then. If staying at the tent far away from clubhouse it will be very painful experience for kids during the night for toilet.
It was clean.
The hotel is very well located, just 30 minutes from Yosemite National Park and 9 from Mariposa where you can buy everything you need in convenience stores, although the hotel also offers complete kits to make your barbecue. staff is very friendly. all areas of the hotel are very comfortable and beautiful
Giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Best place to stay in Yosemite!
What's in the name? Autocamp. Did not know what to expect. Place looked cool in the photos. Indeed - photos did the justice. We were thrilled to stay. One of a kind lobby. 24 hours, nice windows to soak in nature, fire pit. all amazing. Container type room we stay was very very nice. Tiny Places but efficient comes into mind. Great place to stay. Don't miss the jewel in middle of nowhere (in a good way). Convenient to Yosemite entrance and drive along merced river was incredible.
Honestly, everything is above and beyond. We came here for our anniversary and the staff were extremely understanding and accommodating for all our needs. We had the best experience and they truly made our anniversary extra special. AutoCamp overall was incredible. Out airstream was everything we wished for and more it literally had everything, and the AC was powerful and truly amazing as we enjoyed the cool air,l even during the hottest weather waves outside, we didn’t even feel the heat inside the airstream. On top of that, I have no idea how they thoroughly and deeply cleaned the airstream to be bug free when we checked in even though it’s literally in the middle of nature, there are some flies that can easily enter the airstream of course but overall I was happily surprised that the airstream is bug-free and nothing crawling anywhere. The fireplace area made the best barbecue and S’mores nights (the s’mores kit sold at the AutoCamp store was one of the best I’ve ever tasted). The clubhouse was such a nice place to stay and lounge during late afternoons or mornings, the granola they serve in the morning is a MUST TRY. It’s truly delicious, the smell of the freshly made granola was enough to make my day every morning. As for lunch/dinner options, the vegetables lasagna and pizza were my favorites, they were really GOOD. Honestly, this stay made me speechless because everything was beautiful and lovely beyond words, but if I had to choose one aspect that wins, it’s definitel
Check in was fast and easy, property is clean.
Excellent option for those wanting to visit Yosemite
Wow, I've waited a while to book this because I wanted the full experience, not the limited pandemic experience. It did not disappoint!! This was the ultimate glamping experience and is so perfect for small families. My 3yo had too much fun, she didnt want to leave. We got the premium site (#72) and it was right on the pond. I was so glad too, because the classic sites looked really far from the club house and really packed together. The premium sites were close enough to the club house but still felt more private and less of a RV park zoo. Plus theres no parking next to your RV. They give you wagons to help carry all your stuff from parking lot to RV. There were definitely some classic sites that im just glad we didnt get (but note: i was 34 wks pregnant with a toddler so Im sure its fine for most people) The clubhouse is super cute. So much space. I LOVE that they have a bar, and you can order from a full menu of food from 7am-10pm! The store has basic necessities and is open 24/7. The pool was amazing. Live evening music really set the mood. The airstream was clean! The shower was huge. Best RV shower Ive ever taken. TV has cable. I mean, this really isnt camping at this point. But with a toddler, ill take it. The fire pit chairs and table provided....you dont have to bring much except food you want to grill. Also, it was only about a 45 min drive to Yosemite, the Arch Rock entrance. It's just perfect! We will be back for sure!
Loved staying at the Autocamp Yosemite. What a great concept! Our airstream was clean and had all the comforts of home. The clubhouse was well designed and comfy for hanging out, eating and drinking. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We needed help with our heat and staff responded quickly. My only suggestions are a boot cleaner brush for post hikes and some low sugar cocktail/ hard seltzer options. Will definitely stay at this or another auto camp location.
Brilliant stay - really glad we decided to stay in the Airstream. It was clean, modern and had the comfiest bed. The clubhouse was cosy and had a great atmosphere in the evenings.
Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. We had such a lovely time and we were made to feel like family. So many good things— the cabins and trailers are comfortable and spacious, showers have good water pressure, and it is really fun to cook over a fire! If you don’t feel like doing that, there are induction ranges and fridges in each room. Will DEFINITELY come again.
Camp but make it fancy
the accommodations were amazing and the staff was attentive. they were very accommodating to us as we had to move our bridal party to AutoCamp last minute when Yosemite National Park was closed. we can't wait to go back!
Clean and good community
Heater was very noisy so my wife and I couldn’t sleep well.
Loved the “silver bullet”, it was clean and current.
1) it will be great if check out time is 11am because 10am is too rush 2) dog fee could be less than $75 if stay one night only 3) pool could be in service Thanks
Great location and amenities
We finallly checked in time (4:00 PM). Last time we had to wait almost two hours (6:00 PM) before we got our rooms. Other than that Jesse who works at the front desk was great!
Property and place is very nice.
Thanks for making great time for the weekend trip
I loved it. Location is so pretty and all minute details are taken care of it. Hospitality team is great and location is extremly pretty.
Our first time in an airstream - it was much more roomier inside than expected. Reception/dining building was warm and welcoming too. Enjoyed our stay.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at autocamp. We stayed here while we explored Yosemite and it was not too far from the park less than an hour away. We loved all the games and making s’mores at night by the campfire. Would definitely recommend or stay at an autocamp site in the future!
This place is amazing. The airstream suites have everything you need and the communal bar area is great. A brilliant spot from which to explore Yosemite!
We had a great experience overall. The only thing that was missing is a rug in the bathroom. The shower water splashes out from the shower to the bathroom floor and you Will either need to put towel on the bathroom floor which is a waste on towel or have some kind of shoes to avoid getting your feet dirty or slipping.
Worth the hype
We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to be back in cooler weather! Plenty of amenities, dog friendly and a great option to stay close to Yosemite.
Good Environment to stay
It is alright, but air filter they never clean! Air steel returns a lots of dust. Everything ok it feel good environment
Definitely worth it!
Booked one night for my husband, daughter and I before spending a day nearby at Yosemite. Such a nice set up, we wish we had more time to spend there!!! Wish we had known the sheets were underneath the couch bed, but we were too tired to really look!
Place was really nice and clean. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy the amenities
Very Good Stay! Good and Clean facility. Quick check in, strong Wi-Fi and they got everything you’ll need.
The camp site itself is OK, nothing really special. It's not very scenic as I had hope. I don't like the property being on the hill. It makes it hard to bike around. Not much to do around the campsite that's within 20 minutes of drive. I also wish there's more of the Tesla charging ports. It's inconvenient when we have to wait overnight for one to open up before we can charge, and we can't go anywhere without charging the car.
the place is beautiful, very relaxing…downside was staff were not accommodating and seems like they don’t know how to greet their guest. Our first time and probably would go back again.
Autocamp was a really nice place to stay. It was perfect, you got best of both worlds of luxury and camping = glamping.
We had a wonderful stay
A Great Stay
First time at AutoCamp Yosemite. Impressed with the accommodations and amenities. The clubhouse was very inviting and comfortable for lounging. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to interact with. My family enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Plan to return.
Great experience
They had great communication even at 10pm through text message. The staff were super nice and refreshing. Perfect little getaway. Definitely will be back
We had a great stay, the whole place is just beautiful and clean. Will definitely come back here again.

Autocamp Yosemite exceeded all expectations! The Airstream accommodations were spotless, cozy, and stylish — the perfect blend of luxury and nature. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole property had a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The location made it easy to explore Yosemite while still enjoying modern comforts. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable getaway!
