Quick stay great communication cleanliness and beds

Clean stay close to downtown Rotorua with everything we needed to rest and relax and use as a base for our other activities. Staff was great.

Excellent Room!!

Our stay was wonderful! The room was great. Downstairs we had a kitchette, dinner room table, sitting area and bathroom. The bedroom was upstairs. We had a private patio with a hot tub and the parking was right outside your door. Check in and check out was simple enough. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and quiet

Expensive not great.

Expensive stay, that wasn't worth it. It's quite old fashioned and just feels tired, ie shower curtain in bathroom. The security is a worry with a very old ranch slider lever lock on the front door. But the back door to the spa pool ( more on that further down) doesn't lock. The area is brick walls but the roof is the plastic corrugated sheet. So it would be easy for someone to break in. I slept with my keys and electronics. The spa pool is actually not a spa pool, a wee bit of false advertising. It's actually a big round bath with two normal taps on it with no jets. Overall very expensive for a ok stay. Won't be back

Hot tub is really good. Love it.

There’s a laundry room which was very helpful. Bring coins for the machine. Properly is close to many local businesses. If visiting this town for the first time, know it’s a sulfur smelling town.

Very clean, great service. Love the laundry, cheap facility, soap powder provided $4 per load for wash and big dryer. Kid loved the private jet spa bath. Loved it

Cute property, spacey and provide everything

Great location. Easy 2 min drive into the main food district. Great accommodation. Large comfortable bed. Heaters very effective. Main negative was the shower head. A very old mixer head that came out of the wall about chin height. Unfortunately the water pressure was so weak I had to wash my hair in the basin- not something you want in a hotel with lots of sweaty hikes and spas around it. Apart from this, we would stay again due to the room size and location

The room was perfect size for my family of 6.

The place is very clean and the beds are comfy. Has everything we need. if the bathroom facility can improve a bit, that will be perfect, Overall, a very pleasant stay, will highly recommend and definitely come back.

It was quiet and close to the hot spring I wanted to visit, but there were rubbish bins in the toilets and rubbish left by previous visitors, and I thought the cleaning staff needed to improve his work.

Modernised decor and new comfortable beds. Large rooms. Upstairs in the family room is a mezzanine, no toilet upstairs which is the only down side.

Awesome stay!

We enjoyed our night in the family room. It was very clean & oh so warm! Our check in and check out was straight forward and easy. Customer service was on point. Kids enjoyed the outdoor private spa!

Roomy and comfortable

Was genuinely impressed with this motel. A lot of motels in Rotorua are quite tired but this one was great. Is just like in the pictures, very nicely refurbished, very warm room too. The bed layout with the king, queen, 2 x singles is perfect for a family of 6. Having the outdoor hot tub was great. Can't speak highly enough of this place!

Our kids and i absolutely loved this place, a lot of space in the rooms, they enjoyed the park and the hot tubs. Thank you also to the wonder staff and lady at front desk was amazing, really approachable, friendly and helpful 🙂 thank you maggie.

spacious rooms, very clean and friendly helpful staff

The property was handy for everything and had all that we needed. Our grandson enjoyed meeting Boris and having him stay for a little while.

The hot tub was just what we needed after the day’s activities. We also had a visit from Boris the feline CEO who was simply delightful.

Perfect getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay here at the Arista. It had a large space, perfect for our infant who loved to move about. Well stocked kitchen and the thermal heating was great! Also loved the private indoor spa outback and the range of DVDs available that was great for the rainy days! Great location, close to everything.

Fantastic room, friendly receptionist who gave us some awesome advice on places to visit. We'd definitely stay again.

Clean & tidy Though they didn’t clean our room the first day. Bathroom could use some more towel hooks and places to put toiletries in shower. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at Arista for 4 nights and really enjoyed the accommodation, has all things you need from high speed internet to spa and of course very friendly and helpful receptionist. Ideal for families with kids visiting Rotorua.

Good but no air con.

Room is spacious and clean. The only problem is no air con. Fans are available but quite hard for me to sleep without the right temperature.

Location on busy roads means no sleep

Good place to stay in Rotorua!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were even given discount coupons when we asked for recommendations! We also enjoyed Boris, the motel cat! We also liked the fact that we had an assigned parking space, which made it easy to park the car right by our room. Because we have three teen-age boys, it was great having three beds for them upstairs.

Good pick in Rotorua

We were only at Arista of Rotorua for about 9 hours due to a late arrival and early departure, but it served our needs for a place to sleep admirably. They easily accommodated us when we called ahead to advise them that we would be arriving after the desk closed and we got great dining recommendations during our check out the next morning. Our room had enough beds to sleep a crowd, so everyone got their own bed. The room was a bit stuffy on a late summer night, but I understand that none of the hotels in Rotorua have air conditioning, so this isn't a mark against Arista. The bathroom was a bit basic, but clean and well-stocked. Overall, a nice place to stay for a great price.

Awesome Mezzanine Motel

Spacious and great value for money. A 10 minute walk to supermarkets and restaurants which open late. Good quality shampoo and conditioner provided, which I later realized is fairly uncommon for other motels in this price range. Room was clean and comfortable.

Pleasant hotel. Beds were comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Ceiling fan would help with air movement within the rooms. Would recommend and stay again.

They had correct number of towels and things. The little details all add value and litte things like hand lotion all helps.

There is no air conditioning in the unit, need to opened the front door and all windows which had no fly screens.

It’s a really nice place to stay. The units are really spacious and the welcome was really great. The city centre is walkable in about twenty minutes and the position a good fit getting around by car. The bathrooms and kitchens are well equipped and the bed was super comfy. I would definaty stay again.

We had a nice stay as a young family, it was our first one away together. We were warmly welcomed to a toasty warm room.

Nice motel to stay the night unfortunately beds are not the most comfortable, bathrooms were ok and no toothbrush and toothpaste was provided.

Nice having a seperate bed area. excellent facilities. Proper sky TV would be a bonus. Shower upgrade would be good as a bit low. Ideal for visiting Rotorua as out the door turn right 1 mile on and your there spermarkets close by

This property is absolutely amazing. It feels like staying at your own apartment complex/home. The place was very comfortable, roomy, clean, and you felt like you were home. The story behind the hotel is quite moving and interesting, and I'm very happy to have stayed here just because of that. You may want to book directly with the hotel to save money and support their cause. I would definitely stay here again in the future; it was great :)

Quick stop

Arriving late in the evening, we arranged for late check-in which worked just fine. The room was large and had room to sleep seven. The parking area is pretty tight but nice to be able to park right outside the room. The only complaint is that the bathroom area is pretty dated, shower head was so low we thought it was intended for Hobbits!

Welcoming motel

Excellent service from the staff who were very helpful. Unit was very nice but bedroom area very hot as no AC and fans supplied by motel too noisy to leave on overnight.
