Quiet beautiful spot. Fabulous cabins.
Horrible stay
Our room that we stayed in was SO dirty. Floor was clean, yes. Shower, toilet and sink had dirt build up. Needs to be bleached and cleaned. We turned up the heat and it did not stay warm in there. The parking situation is horrible. They expect 4 cars to fit in between the cabins and only 2 fit at a time. There was no tv, which was disappointing. We constantly heard the people above us walking. Our place did not have the best smell in it either. Went to go to the bar at the Mount Bohemia way long before they were supposed to be close at midnight, got there and they were closed, no one around. Overall price was not good, for having no tv, no coffee, dirty bathroom and sink, no parking, no towels for a shower, cold cabin & no sheets on the bed. Would NOT recommend.
Great getaway
Wasnt sure what to expect when we booked our cabin. We were not disappointed! Beautiful property, hiking, great dock for socializing, the Spa was an unexpected bonus. Our only sad note was it was too windy to ride the lift for the view!
Best kept secret in the Keweenaw 😍
The Nordic Spa is amazing!
Second time staying here and we love it! The deck out back looking over the lake, the use of the spa and the kayaks really can not be beat for the cost! The wood fired pizza at the restaurant is so good too.
Great Lake nearby. Pizza tasty. Bonfire and deck area comfortable for all. Options to use kayak and spa appreciated.
We loved the deck and fire pit and the convenience to it. Bummed the lift was shut down since we had a free lift ticket. Loved the spa! It said there was a coffee pot, but it was a Keurig and we had coffee grounds and filters. We made it work and enjoyed our stay. The futon bed was smelly but comfortable. Overall, it was very clean and I would come back, when the lift is working.
Spa amenities were amazing. Cold pool, regular pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were included with our stay.
My husband and I came here and we loved it! We had a lower cabin and it was clean and so cute! Perfect view of the lake! My only complaint is the beds are pretty firm so we opted for the futon the remaining nights! Loved the dock with all the seating options and fire pit. Perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset and also for getting a great view of the stars. The spa area is amazing especially after a long day of hiking! You do have to drive over to it from the cabin area but that was no trouble at all! Plenty of sauna options and every pool temp!! Cold plunge, regular pool, & hot tub! And you get to view the ski hill while you’re in there!! The staff was great and the wood fire pizza they make was good too. 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to go back again!
Enjoyed the serenity of the lake on the deck, and enjoyed the stars. Loved the location and the cabin. Well maintained and the spa is a must do experience. It was magical spending the weekend with good friends in an area that we plan to visit again next year. There is a lot to do and an explore. The Nordic Spa was an experience that will be ranked as a favorite for the rest of my life. I missed it my first night home!
This is my 6th year here and it never disappoints.
Very nice looking cabin we entered and the first thing we noticed were crumbs on the floor. My daughter went to pick a bunk to sleep in, there was crumbs on the beds. The mini fridge was leaking water everywhere. There was a dirty rug hanging up in the shower along with hair everywhere. Was a great location very poor cleanliness
Refrigerator was too small. No counters or stove! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The view of the lake was peaceful.
While it was more of a burden than I like to bring our own bed linen, towels, etc. we were told that up front and it was fine to do that. In a way it is preferred in that we were sleeping in our own linens from home. The home was clean and very high quality rich with wood throughout. The only knock I have is the sink faucet sprayed such that it soaked the entire sink area if turned on full force. You just need to use a little caution. I would change out the faucet aerator. The grounds are nice and wooded and a terrific lake for kayaking, and a nice seating area at the lake’s edge. Very scenic and relaxing. Very limited and spotty wifi access but going off grid is not so bad. The nearby store (2 minute walk) was nice but pretty expensive. Bring your own fruits and cereals if you’re so inclined. Very pleasant staff. You need to drive 2 minutes to the pool and sauna area which was very nice and with pleasant staff. Nicely kept up. Having that area remote like it is (but still not very far) is good to keep foot traffic in that area away from the cabin. The drinks and pizza were very good but a little pricey. Not that bad though and it is not assembly line pizza. I would recommend this as a destination unless someone is pampered and needs everything at your fingertips and silk sheets. The surrounding area is gorgeous (it’s the U.P. after all) and remote but close enough to civilization if you need it. Most importantly my children loved it. They will want to go back.
Would not recomend going in summer time with no air. Blinds were damaged, trash can partially melted, and very little alcohol pit into mix drinks for $10 a drink. No inside entertainment for bad/rainy days.
It was a pleasant stay away from city noise.
Glamping worth it!!
Cabin was cozy. Running water, toilet and shower. Microwave, keurig, and mini fridge. Sweet view, included wrist bands for spa area and lift ride, included use of kayaks and long boards. Super close to Copper Harbor.
Check in and check out was very easy. The Nordic Spa was great. Definitely recommend the panoramic sauna and the roasted veggie pizza!! Cabin was spacious and nicely located on the water's edge. We'll be back!! Thanks, Lonnie for your vision ! It's awesome.
Free use of spa. Ease og getting into the cabin.
The rate was decent for generous accommodation s. Communication was great—- no linens; bring your own. Bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. No TV; internet is limited—-Isolated place; Copper Harbor is ‘closest’ shopping and fuel. One notable complaint i: take an upper cabin stay NO MATTER WHAT—- we were a lower stay and it was extremely uncomfortable hearing EVERYTHING above us.
I can't say enough wonderful things about these cabins. We traveled with a large group of 19, some with younger children, and were able to reserve the upper and lower parts of two cabins next to each other. We loved sitting around the fire on the large deck each evening with our whole family. The free use of paddleboards and kayaks were such a wonderful surprise and the use of the spa area made the trip so special. After a day of hiking around the peninsula, we loved being able to swim and soak in the hot tub back at the resort. The cabins were clean and spacious. Love that the upper level had ceiling fans and the large deck. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back up to this beautiful area!
Loved the view, cabin, large deck, access to spa
Window shades need to be replace. Beds are unconfortable and difficult to get into and out of.
Right on the lake. Nice sitting area around a firepit. Pool was a short distance drive. The skylift on resort property was a nice attraction. The cabin needs a kitchenette and air conditioning. Beds were not comfortable. The cabin was spacious but needs a deep clean. Enjoyed our family vacation at the Aqua Log Cabin Resort.
As always, an idyllic and beautiful stay alongside Lac La Belle in one of these Aqua Cabins from Mt. Bohemia. Comfortable, spacious, clean, and easy access to the Keweenaw and Copper Harbor
Loved that it was on the lake, it was quiet even though we had 2 other guests above us.
Highly recommend! Beautiful location, property, and nature! Yes you have to bring towels and bedding, but it is worth it. The spa was amazing! Family enjoyed every minute of it.
We had an amazing time! If you are going to go in the summer time we recommend bring AC if you are staying in the cabins.
The check in process is very vague because there is no central cabin or lobby, which is a little frustrating, but it is basically like an air BNB where you are provided a door code to get into the cabin thru a text. There was a refrigerator, microwave, keurig provided. The cabin itself is separated upper level and lower level (two different units) with different entrances. So there are about 6 cabins lined up facing the lake and a common area deck/dock with a firepit and seating that you take stairs down to. The Nordic spa which has the pool, hot tub, and 3 different saunas is about a half mile away (not too much of a convenience) and a marina is about 1/4 mile away. Definitely coming here again, loved the serenity of the cabin with its own deck, but can converse with others on the dock!
It was a lovely location. It was nice to wake up to the lake view every morning. We loved the beautiful log cabins, very well made and furnished. The only thing I did not understand from the listing (probably my oversight!) was that there was an upper level cabin and a lower level cabin. So we were entirely to ourselves(own entrance) but tried to stay quiet in the mornings so as not to bother the downstairs neighbor. It was still a great time though.
Convenient to, but not right in Copper Harbor, this is a nice spot on Lac le Belle. The inclusion of the spa facilities was a nice addition. Suggest that you bring; water for coffee and drinking, utensils, cups, plates, etc… a fan if it looks like it’s going to be hot, as well as the suggested linens and towels. Beds aren’t the most comfortable, maybe a pad if you need softness.
Room was very nice, love the build and log cabin style. On water front is a big plus. Only issue was a pluged toilet which I was able to remedy.
Our family really enjoyed our cabin. We stayed in Cabin # 25 an Upper cabin. It had a super spacious deck to hang out on and the dock had a lounging area with fire pit which was nice too. The spa and staff were super nice as well.
Peaceful, scenic location
First futon experience - perhaps some futons lie flat, both in our room created a 'cozy couple' night. Rolling into the middle of the mattress - despite putting a bunk bed mattress on top, didn't result in the best sleep conditions. Second night we each slept on separate futons. Note: Pool/hot tub/sauna. . . are off site. Heater worked wonderfully since we didn't have bedding.Great views of a lake.
I overall enjoyed my stay here.
I would visit this place again. My biggest complaint was the wifi dropping in and out (which is huge considering the limited cell coverage area), water had a funny smell (but i think it area related), and if your fat like me, getting over the rail to get out the bed is an issue (but my athletic 13-year-old also complained on that matter). Outside of these 3 issues, i recommend it.
The aquadump cabin as we called was not situated at a resort with a front desk , sauna, hot tub as advertised , some of these things were available at a seperate site about a 5 min drive away ( it was not close at all) The cabin has absolutely nothing in it with expection of a dollarstore bath mat . The only water available anywhere comes from a tiny bathroom tap and it is brown and smells awful , not sure it was even potable but theres no one to ask as you wont have cell service and the internet was mostly not working . This was supposed to be a honeymoon trip and this cabin was beyond disappointing . also note that if there are people staying in the loft above you ( pictures dont show that there are actually two floors per cabin) it would be loud.
You have to provide your own towels, sheets, pillows and other linens, which was kind of a pain. The beds were not very comfy. They were plastic-covered hard mattresses and your sheets would slide around. The outdoor seating area looked neglected and unkempt. The chairs and cushions were strewn about the outdoor deck area; chairs overturned, and cushions lying about. Not very inviting. No kitchen in the room, but the cabin was very roomy for the 2 of us. Bathroom and shower were of substantial size. We had no idea that we had complimentary use of the nearby "spa" (hot tub, sauna, pool, etc.) Wish someone would have told us.... we would have packed bathing suits and beach towels! We were put in a lower level room, which was difficult to go up and down the stairs to access. We're in our 70's and would have appreciated a parking-level room. The people next to us kept riding their ATV in front of our cabin, until the owner told him to stop and they got into an argument. No TV and poor Wifi reception. Would not recommend.
Beautiful location!
Awesome getaway place
Very interesting place to stay and loved it. The even number cabins are on the bottom so you have to carry your luggage down the outside steps, but very worth it. Will probably consider an even number/upstairs cabin next time.
Cozy & Dusty
Pro: The cabin is huge! Great views of the lake. Mattresses are comfy. Con: The door lock was very tricky and required multiple tries to open. There were a few times we were almost locked out, in the cold. The main windows had no blinds and the entry door had a broken blind hanging. The cabin needs a massive dusting. The fan ceiling fan blade looks like it’s never been dusted and the bathroom walls were coated with dust. (For someone allergic to dust mites, this was unsettling.) After housekeeping cleaned out other vacant cabins they left trash bags in front of our entry way (and other cabins) for over a day!
It was a perfect upper peninsula fall trip. We loved the Aqua log cabins. We enjoyed the fire baked pizza very much. It’s an added bonus to have it on the property site. Also don’t miss the sandwiches and fish dinners at the neighboring la lac la Belle camp store. So yummy
This is our second year coming to the aqua cabins. Absolutely love the convenience of easy check in and out. The only complaint we have is the Wi-Fi was terrible. Beautiful area, will definitely return!
Property area was very nice. Bonfire every evening was excellent. Cabin floor was not clean. It was swept but not clean. Toothpaste spatters on wall next to sink. I will not be staying there again
Pool and spa in the woods was amazing. Cabin was fantastic, beautiful, a little dusty. Water is super sulphury. bring drinking water and didnt feel terribly clean after a shower. Dock with firepit was incredible too. So nice to sit out at night and cook on the fire. We will be back.
Awesome cabins right on beautiful water. Drive to get there is nice.. spa/pool not too far away
Beautiful view
The view was beautiful! We would stay again. Ceiling fan was covered in dust and the unit itself , corners under beds and sofa were also dusty. The shower was clean and very nice. A little pricey for having to bring your own linens and towels.
Loved our 3 night stay. Looking forward to staying again.
The cabin was clean and very nice the view was amazing exactly as advertised. I will be back

We enjoyed the spa despite the rain. I’m sorry we didn’t get to ride the scenic lift to the top of the hill but it was cold and windy.
