Far away from central Aonang. The last building. Lots of bugs. Needs some maintenance. Not a hotel experience. Staff not nice.

Good staff

My entire trip consisted of 3 weeks in Thailand with 3 nights being spent in Aonang at the Mountain View resort and of all my bookings, this one was the worst. We checked in a bit late as we flew in from Chiang Mai and as soon as i stepped in the room i wanted to walk out. I will note that the check in girl was very kind and this wasn't her fault, the language barrier was a bit challenging though. Our first room #503 was covered in hair and dust and I'm not exaggerating - there were clumps of hair in the bathroom, on the bed, in the corners and in the hallways. The "kitchen" looked like it hadn't been wiped down in months and consisted of a couple plates, forks and cups. When we asked to change rooms they said the hotel was fully booked and when i was adamant, they "found" a room. Our 2nd room #203, was more or less the same. Filthy and as an added plus, it smelled so strongly of sewage i quickly declined this one. They should really get a new cleaner.... Our 3rd room #103, i think the checkin girl must have gone in to clean the room as we waited at the front desk for a solid 15 minutes. When we checked it over, it was acceptable enough but they said we would have to change rooms the next day. I was so exhausted i said we'll deal with it tomorrow. What a mistake, the sheets smelled like they hadnt been laundered. I slept in my clothes and didnt use the pillows or blanket. The next day we checked into a new hotel down the street.

Affordable, 20 minute walk to beach, quiet. Minimal English-speaking but very pleasant staff.

Excellent place!

Very nice place, a little far walk to the beach, but the trade off is quiet and nice view of a cliff mountain, overall, worth the alternatives at the same price.

Amazing view on the top. Quiet neighborhood. So many monkey on the mountain. Friendly staff.

Relaxing stay

We stayed 5 days and it was very relaxing. Staff was very sweet and you just needed to ask if you need anything. Location is a little bit of a walk to the main area . It is a nice walk and Hotel also has a shuttle a few times per day. However still if you do not like to walk this may not be for you. The room is more like an apartment. HUGE ! WE had more than what we needed and views from 4th floor were great.I would stay here again. However we were there in low season so it was quiet and relaxing !

There should improve on speaking skills..lack of communcation

A bit disappointed but you get what you pay for.

For the price, the hotel is ok. But it is a budget no frills hotel that's 10 mins walk from anywhere. One thing to be aware of, the rooms are NOT safe. It was easier and quicker to open the locked room door without a key than with one. Don't leave valuables in the room. Ao Nang is a typical busy budget seaside resort with lots of nightlife for young people. The boat rides to the islands are very nice.

Everything is great except its far from main road

The hotel room was huge and have 2 swimming pools. It have a rooftop where you probably have your breakfast buffet at with great views. Rooms are really big and have kitchen and balcony, big space for like 10 people to hang out in. However you would want to stay at 4th or 5th floor for the best view. Downside is that its like 15mins walk to the main street with all the food and entertainment areas at. But they have free tutuks at certain timing that you have to book with the hotel for back and forth

Excellent service and friendly staff. All around great hotel in Krabi. Highly recommended for couples and family.

This hotel is a classic example of a nice hotel ruined by mismanagement or lack of funding. The rooftop terrace sported lounge chairs that were completely destroyed enormous holes in the wicker). The pools had wooden lounge chairs with no cushions, or cushions covered in white mold. The pool deck had told and algae growth everywhere along with broken glass. The "kitchen" is simply comprised of totally empty cabinets (no cookware or range top) and a couple glasses, two plates, and two forks and two spoons. Not ideal if you were planning on cooking. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a free tuk tuk into town, free water, and good maid service. Overall fair value, request room on fourth or fifth floor.

Hotel is far

Hotel is too deep inside with no transport.... It is very inconvenient. Although the staff is very friendly and you can rent a motor bike to roam around.

Nice hotel and very cheap

Hotel is very cheap and really good . Worth every penny . However , the hotel is quite far from main road and the road is very dark in the night . Motorbike is a good idea if you want to stay here but please rent motor bike at the main road . Never rent motorbike at the hotel recieption because they are liar , their service sucks and quite expensive

This is perfect hotel for couples!

Not quite a pleasant stay

The hotel is relatively far from the beach ( 15 mins walk ) The breakfast is so lousy. The shower water pressure is pathetic. No coffee making facilities in the room. 2 bottles of Drinking water are provided daily but the glass bottles seems to be recycled. Duk Duk transfer to the beach is provided but obviously failed to cater the number of passengers.

Love aonang, the people, the food.. Driving around will be a good idea.

Worth for money

A pleasant and a memorable holiday in Krabi

Front office Receptionist Tuy was very helpful and friendly in arranging for a tuk tuk to take us out for dinner when we checked into the Hotel. He also helped us to take our luggage from the slope of the Mountain View Hotel when we arrived by bus and when we check out he make sure that we board onto the right van. He even went to the second mile in helping us to make phone calls for us. The room has a beautiful view facing the mountain.

The room is very big, the hotel reception very friendly, speak fluently in english will come again!

Good nice clean Mountain view hotel

My husband and i really enjoyed our 40th honeymoon staying at this hotel. The room is spacious and has a balcony to view village below. The staffs are very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the free ride to the town and beach then back to the hotel . We have a very good holiday at Krabi.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I sprained my knee & although less than 20% occupied, the hotel wouldn't let me postpone our arrival by 5 days without losing our prepayment. My knee wasn't completely healed, but we went as scheduled rather than lose money. I was not inclined to like the hotel, but that's unfair, so I tried to give it the benefit of any doubt. The room was spacious, had ample electrical outlets & adequate hot water, + the TV & A/C worked well. The pools look nice; the rooftop view is lovely; there’s tuk-tuk service to town, but on a very limited basis. The hotel is too far from town, food, & shops to walk. The room aren't very clean; bathroom was full of flies; furnishings aren't very functional; pillows are uncomfortable; lacks coffee/tea supplies & kettle; sparse kitchenware; had to ask for towels & TP, plus $200 I forgot to put in the safe was stolen. Breakfast was boring, limited, & unappetizing: instant coffee, stale breads, dried-out wieners, & old fruit. Inept food staff doesn't clear tables & runs out of clean dishes, so guests must often buss tables. Cooked eggs can be ordered, but adequate supplies aren't stocked so they often run out. This could be a nice hotel but is poorly maintained & terribly mismanaged by incompetent staff unaware of their own ignorance. No one actually speaks or understands English. The response to questions posed by phone is usually a hung-up line, & those posed in person are frustratingly met with non-comprehending nods & smiling chants of “yes, yes.”

Great front end staff

Definitely away from the beach area but we were aware of that, and wanted a bigger bang for our buck so decided to try Ao Nang Mountain. The young man that checked us in was just great...he was wanting to please you and went out of his way to do so. The two small pools are nice and the rooms are spacious and fairly new. Unfortunately, the construction of the hotel is so poor that sounds/voices from the neighbours carries right through the walls. We were on the 5th floor and each morning when breakfast was served on the roof top deck, we were awoken to loud footsteps and constant noise of kids running back and forth above us. Probably staying on the the 4th floor would alleviate this. Now, onto the cleanliness.....very poor standard. If they replaced the young lady with someone that actually cleaned, I could recommend this hotel as it is away from it all and yet quick to get to the beach area on the free tuk yuk.

Beautiful big and clean rooms in paradise.

Hotel has minimal facilities which is a shame as it is a good 5 minutes away from the main road with all the shops. There is a vending machine if you are desperate for drinks. Restaurant only open for breakfast which I didnt ever try so can't comment. The pool is small but nice and refreshing after a long walk back from the beach which is around 20 minutes away.

Not good

Located far from everything, but still close enough to hear the speaches coming out of the nearby mosk. The staff speaks very lil if any English - a great place if you wanned to learn and/or practice your Thai. New building, still clean - surely better than most of the hotels in the area. Think again before picking Krabi.

Excellent value, but walk to main st

Liked this hotel very much, but the walk to the main road and food is about ten minutes. Didn't have the breakfast. They provide tuk tuk's to/from the beach on a set schedule.

More of a cheap apartment than a hotel

This hotel is clearly popular with certain groups (young russians and chinese families) and is quite cheap, but we quite disappointed. It is far out of town (20-25 mins walk if you walk very quickly and there is nothing for the last 800m) and while they do offer tuk tuks they aren't frequent and are often booked up. the restaurant is only open for breakfast, pools are very small and there is no mountain view (or indeed any view if your room is on the lower floors). Internet is very intermittent and while the staff are sweet, they seem rather clueless. On the plus side, rooms are large, new and clean and the king beds are comfy. For families after a cheap stay, or if you're used to staying in backpackers this may be an option but I would stay somewhere nicer and more central if in krabi again.

Nice newer hotel.

Had a good stay at this hotel. It is newer so it was still pretty clean. The pools are nice but were always freezing cold for some reason. The staff was nice but not very helpful. The breakfast was terrible and dont recommend paying extra for it. Not too far from the beach/shopping and offers a free tuk tuk ride to town a handfull of times through out the day. Seems like they are still getting there stuff together at this hotel but all and all a good stay.

Cool places because its beside a mountain...so its a suitqble place for your self after a day of island hoping, or seaside view tht burned your skin a lil bit. have a nice and helpful staff.reasonable and affordqble prices

Nice hotel

Our stay in this hotel was a nice experience, all the facilities were in order and the staff was very friendly even though the night shift staff don't quite understand english. They do provide breakfast even though the taste was not to my liking. Need to rent motorcycle or tuk tuk to get to the main road.

nothing special to say, a good hotel to place, cheat and clean. a place to go when you travel to krabi to enjoy. as we stay at the hotel only for night, that was a very best choice. quality and price matche

in description it said it was located 20 minutes from the town. i decided that i wanted to be away from the crowds and closer to nature so i tried it WOW! i wasn't disappointed ,huge brand new room ,lounge , terrace microwave ,fridge,2 pools,free bicycle hire to town though i hired a scooter for only 250 bht/day highlight of my travels highly recommend to all!

Very good hotel

For a hotel in thailand it is the best I ever seen. I stay in more than ten hotels in thailand before and from prices up to 125€ every night without discount. I see more than 20 rooms from hotels in thailand and this hotel I can recommend. I normally pay much more money for rooms. The room is one of the biggest I have seen in thailand. Everything is clean and new. You can use a microwave and you have for a hotel a big part of kittchen and many cupboards. We stay in this hotel in september 2014 and only 4 rooms are occupied in this hotel. Outside it is beautiful. You can see the mountain and monkeys in the morning in trees. We stay in the hotel and most time we never see other guests. You can go to the top of the hotel and sit and see the sunset. The swimming pools are ok. Wlan is ok, if you stay at the beginning or in the middle of a floor. At the end of an floor the connection work but is slow. They stop making breakfast because for 4 rooms occupied it is more trouble than it's worth. But they can organize breakfast for you. This is not necessary. You can go to the big street and buy in a restaurant or 7 Eleven everything you need. From this hotel you can start good tours to other islands or to ride elefants. You walk some meter to play mini golf. We go many times to the ao nang beach but it is not near. You drive maybe 5 minutes with a tuktuk. You can ask everything at reception. They make you feel good and help for everything.

Weekend getaway

This hotel is amazing. The hotel is at the bottom of a cliff, the view was amazing. There are 2 pools, one of which is large and uncovered so you can see up the cliff next to it. The staff were all friendly, and helped with anything we needed.

ฮโล่วววว เราได้มีโอกาสเข้าไปพักที่โรงแรมเมาเท่นวิว อ่าวนาง คือจะบอกว่ามันดีมากเลยยยยย ตอนแรกคือเข้าไปหาล็อบบี้ไม่เจอ คือต้องบอกก่อนตอนนั้นฝนตกหนักมาก เรามองไม่เห็นล็อบบี้เองแหละ แฮะๆ คือเราก็รีบโทรหาโรงแรมเลย กลัวว่าจะโดนหลอก พอโทรหาปุ๊บบบพี่เค้าก็รีบลงมารับเลย ก็รอดำเนินเรื่องการเข้าพักแปปนึงก็ขึ้นไปดูห้องงงงงง เราได้อยู่ชั้นบนสุด คือชั้นที่5 ระหว่างรอลิฟต์พี่เค้าก็อธิบาย พร้อมชี้แจงว่าอะไรอยู่ตรงไหน สระว่ายน้ำอยู่ตรงชั้น1นะ เดินออกประตูไปอยู่ขวามือสุด บลาๆๆ ลิฟต์มาเราก็รีบกดเลยจ๊ะชั้น5 ถึงปุ๊บก็รีบจ่ำเลย 502 ไขประตุเข้าไปอย่างไว ภาพแรกที่เห็นคือแบบทำให้เรายืนนิ่งอ้า สตั้นท์ไปแปปนึง คือนอกห้องตรงระเบียงมีโต๊ะนั่งเล่น ไว้สำหรับชมวิว พอตั้งสติได้เราก็เดินดุ่มๆไปเปิดประตุระเบียงภาพถัดมาที่เห็นคือวิวจากชายหาดอ่าวนางเลยจ้าาา ในห้องก็มีโซนห้องนั่งเล่นเล็กๆน่ารักประดับด้วยโซฟานุ่มๆ มีโต๊ะหน้ากระจก ตุ้เสื้อผ้าที่แอบไว้ด้วยตู้เซฟนิรภัย มีครัว ไมโครเวฟ ตุ้เย็น คือมันเป็นความประทับใจแรกเลย เอาความจริงเลยคาดไม่ถึงอ้า ว่าจะได้โรงแรมที่ดีขนาดนี้ถ้าเทียมกับราคาที่เสียไป คือคุ้มมากจริงๆๆ บริการดี ห้องพักเริศ เดินทางก็ง่ายยย เดินจากที่พักไปชายหาดเพียงแค่ 3-5 นาทีเองงง #โรงแรมดีดีแบบนี้ขอบอกต่อเลยยย รับรองไม่ผิดหวังแน่นนอน

Nice stay

The place was nice and the staff, though speaking no English, tried to be helpful. There were two pools in the hotel, though not very clean enjoyable in the heat. The rooms weren't very clean but the shower was hot, the AC was working and the view was beautiful.

โรงแรมสะอาด ห้องกว้างมากค่ะ มีตู้เย็นหลังใหญ่ มีเตาไมโครเวฟ ปลั๊กไฟในห้องน้ำ เตียงนอนกว้าง มีเตียงเสริมให้อีก แถมโซฟามาอีก ดีค่ะ เสียดายในห้องไม่มีถังขยะ มีแค่เฉพาะในห้องน้ำอย่างเดียว สระว่ายน้ำเล็กไปหน่อย และเพราะโรงแรมอยู่ติดกับภูเขาเลยมีเศษใบไม้ร่วงมาในสระ ทำให้สระไม่น่าเล่น โรงแรมอยู่สุดซอยนับว่าค่อนข้างลึก ควรเช่ารถมอเตอร์ไซด์จึงจะเหมาะ โดยรวมถือว่าโอเคค่ะ

ビーチからかなり離れていて、ビーチから帰る道のりに他にたくさんホテルがあって何度も後悔した。 雨の日に到着した事もあってか部屋がとても湿気ていて臭いも気になった。 ベッドにアリが何匹かいて不快だったため受付に部屋の交換を頼むとすぐに交換はしてくれた。 スタッフは愛想はいいが英語はあまり通じずトゥクトゥクの予約サービスなどきちんと出来ていなかった為結局待たされる事が多かった。 ロケーションやホテルの清潔さなどからみて他のホテルにすればよかった。

โรงแรมอยู่ในซอยลึกไปหน่อยเพราะอยู่บนเขา ถ้ามีรถยนต์จะสะดวกสบายมาก แต่มีรถมอเตอร์ไชด์ให้เช่า การเดินทางจึงสะดวกสะบายยิ่งขี้น ในห้องสะอาดมาก ห้องกว้างมาก ห้องน้ำใหญ่สะอาด มีเตาไมโครเวฟ จาน ช้อนให้ กาต้มน้ำ ถ้วยกาแฟ สะดวกสบายสำหรับไปพักแบบครอบครัว ถ้ามีโอกาสจะไปพักอีกค่ะ

28 euros la nuit c'est cher payé pour le secteur et pour des backpackers comme nous mais la chambre est confortable et spacieuse. hôtel au pied d'une grande montagne dommage que les balcons de toutes les chambres donnent sur l'autre côté et ont donc une vue très moche. il y a une super terrasse sur le toit qui donne une vue sur tout aonang très sympa ! l'accueil est froid et mauvais, on nous a retenu 20 min parce qu'ils ne retrouvaient pas la 2eme petite cuillère de la chambre (lol) mais de manière globale une bonne impression, équipements sympas : bouilloire, kitchenette sans plaques de cuissons, grande douche ..

Près de la plage

Côté trop à pic difficile d'accès. Pas de restos à proximité.
