Super friendly staff that went the extra mile to meet your needs. The only downside was that there is no beach at this resort which was not clear from the description when booking,

As a wheelchair bound traveler accessibility is very important to me. While this hotelier excellent for sbled travelers it fell short in accessibility, specifically in room. The door threshold was to higher my electric chair scale it without extra assistance,path to the room bathroom and the bathroom door were to narrow to easily get in to the batroomsnd there were no safety grab bars by the toilet or in the showerehich made using it very chalenging for me sp I’ve ooed to skip ypthe shower because of safety concerns. But otherwise our stay here was pleasant.

Nice beach resort with an excellent beach when the tide is out but no beach when it’s in. The Italian restaurant was mediocre at best and over-priced, but the other 2 restaurants were nice as was the excellent breakfast. The room was spacious but there was no place to sit except a desk chair. It was also exceedingly damp. The main issue for us was the use of the space in front of our room for events causing some noise.

The staff is friendly and engaging, except at breakfast, where they often seem rushed and bit abrupt. The property is not clean to the standard of this brand…pool furniture is dirty, trash is evident, pool towels are tattered.

A wonderful natural environment with local ambience!

Last day- Family holidayay at Anantara Hua Hin.

Had wonderful time as always. Tasty breakfast in the morning, followed by refreshing walk in the garden. In the afternoon subathing and swimming, and few drinks and snacks from Loy Nam poolside bar, served by the amazing, always smiling staff. Finished the evening with beautifully set buffet and traditional Thai dance performance at Rim Nam restaurant, ecery moment perfected by tye friendly care by the staff. I highly recomment for you next holiday destination.

I missed the soul in this hotel. To commercial for

I first got a room with a view on a wedding party with a podium for music and sound track. After my complaint a got a smaller bit quite room. No compensation. The positive thing was the bike they had. But they first had to repair it.

We had a great time at the Anantara Hua Hin. The staff at the Hotel were outstanding. We have not encountered a single employee who missed to great us . All were super attentative and helpful. Kudos to the management for the excellent traing and motivation provided. It really shows. Otherwise the Hotel did as expected. it is a beatiful property, quiet location, excellent Food an Beverage, and nice rooms. Some soft furnishings and bath linen was a bit dated though.

This lodge is top notch. Food superb, staff friendly and knowledgeable, rooms beautiful. Highly recommend!

I have always enjoyed staying at Anantara. They keep their standards in all properties. Feel like coming home. Staff are amazing, beautiful and well-maintained room and land scape, great breakfast with lots of variety.

Beautiful Grounds and Facilities

The resort was beautiful, the restaurant great with excellent breakfast and service. Staff was excellent. My only suggestion would be the rooms are in need of a refresh. And also should have a comfortable chair for sitting. But overall...very nice with great location and service.

Excellent get away from Bangkok

Excellent get away from Bangkok for a few days. Room was pleasant and comfortable with first line view over the sea. All staff were super helpful, and service was excellent.

Went with my wife and 9 months old son and the staff was super friendly and took such good care of us and the property is 10/10 as well. Book it and enjoy it if you have a chance!

Anniversary during the pandemic

Was our 35th anniversary during the pandemic in Thailand and decided to stay in Hua Hin to celebrate. Despite the conditions and the lack of guests at the hotel we were extremely happy with the service, the staff and their willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Beautiful property with amazingly attentive staff!

The Staff were very courteous and helpful, and the Spa was excellent.

Resort is fantastic, further from centre.

Overall the facilities offered were good (3 restaurants, range of sports activities) besides this, when we booked a private bathtub was mentioned. This was another reason we chose the Grand Deluxe room for a anniversary. However, when we arrived we found we didn’t have a bathtub and we told the staff, who simply told us Hotels.com were wrong instead of offering a different room with a bathtub with no charge.

the main issue is that the pictures in Expedia do not correspond with reality. for example there is no beach ! this needs to be clearly pointed out in every online medium. this is just not fair.

Tropical Paradise

Amazing hotel with lovely grounds. Staff always ready to help. Long way from town(too far to walk) but shuttle bus worked well. No beach as sea right up to hotel wall but pool large. Only downside was ten percent added to all bills when would rather decide on my own tips t

I am traveling with elderlies. One of which is having a really hard time getting in and out of the tub, for the lack of walk-in shower. Thankfully the room is on the first floor. However, for her to get to the lobby area is proven difficult. That said, I enjoyed the seclusion and the gardens, with one exception of an event one evening with live music not far from the room. Seaview is great. But there is no beach to walk on. A spa treatment is highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay and relax by the pool

Beautiful place to stay and relax. Our room was very nice and quiet. It’s a ten minute car ride from the bar and restaurant areas. Definitely enjoyed the stay here. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A very large selection of food for breakfast. I think the food and drinks are a bit pricey but we did receive a twenty percent discount voucher upon arrival to offset the final bill, thank you. Overall we were very happy to stay and would recommend staying here.

We checked into the Anantara due to a disastrous stay at another Hua Hin property. My partner and I have frequesnted Thailand for years and always wanted to try the brand. It didn't disappoint. As our taxi pulled up we were met with a deep "gong" from what we learned that is a sound, when someone checked in. Excellent customer service, very friendly and attentive staff, great pool and love the “gluten free” corner at breakfast for those with food allergy.

High food prices but overall a fantastic stay.

This is a great resort, with the usual Anantara welcome and friendliness. We loved our stay here and will choose Anantara again. We had a small issue with a very noisy bearing on the balcony fan but when I called the evening manager we were transferred to another room immediately and were able to continue our lovely stay here. The staff resolved our complaint immediately. The only issue I have is that food and drink prices are very, very high, especially in the pool area where you cannot bring your own food and drink. Other than this our stay here was exceptional.

Amazing experience at the resort. Friendliest staff and great service. They sent a delicious complimentary birthday cake to our room as well because we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The breakfast was good and varied, we loved it. Definitely coming back!

Attentive and helpful staff. We joined morning yoga and Thai boxing. Coach Nok was a very supportive yet serious trainer to make sure we learned in an enjoyable way.

A nice resort with eco-friendly concept that lives up to its brand's reputation. Very close to the airport but not so convenient for shopping as there is no shops around the hotel within walking distance. My best impression about this hotel is the wonderful service that we received at the reception & concierge - Special thanks to the Alex, Alisa, Vitto, Chai, etc. who were hospitable and very helpful to all our needs and made our 4D3N stay a truly pleasant one!

Overall it’s a nice experience for me and family, my 14 months daughter enjoyed the stays very much. Credit given to Dawas, she is very friendly and helpful. Some -be point, the breakfast choice is slightly limited, be aware of mosquitoes especially if you are staying at the ground floor. We arrived at 3:30pm but our room only ready by 4:15pm.

Just ok .

On approach the hotel reception and gardens are beautiful BUT the beach and room were very disappointing. I paid extra for what was described as a superior room which opened straight onto the beach BUT it was a very dark room made worse by old dark brown furniture which opened onto a tiny seating area and a grassed area in front . Ok it was the nearest block of rooms near the beach but I wouldn’t describe it as opening onto a beach . Talking of the beach . What a disappointment. The hotel is on a high wall above a dirty beach . Yes you can get down to the sea but you have to walk down a sharp , rocky walled area then across sharp boulders and rocks . Quite a few people had cuts on their feet . It just wasn’t what I was expecting .

My amazing HuaHin trip

Amazing!! Staff are very warm and accommodating. My only tiny bit of a not so positive comment is that they didn’t allow for a late check out, but I totally understand. I’ll definitely consider checking in here again and recommend to my friends and family

We have visited this property on numerous occasions and found the staff very friendly and helpful (especially Alex). Rooms refurbished since last visit and are a great improvement. All in all very good experience.

We felt this resort was well laid out in beautiful mature gardens with its low level buildings ,some overlooking lagoons with fish,and other wildlife. The breakfast buffet was very cramped at busy times, Needs refink of space.

absolutely stunning place. the location, atmosphere, service, food were all 100% brilliant. the pool is magnificent, the people are so warm and welcoming and always have a smile - special mention to Veto( i hope i have spelled his name correctly!) - we met him at check in and on many other occasions - so helpful and friendly - a beautiful person. cant wait to return!

Amazing resort, very friendly staff. Book a massage at the spa, the Anantara Signature massage was amazing for my wife and I. Only regret I have is that we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great week here. It wad a last minute thing but we even extended that.Some terrific people work hard hard here so that we can enjoy urselves. Great management and a special word of thanks to Herr Rainer Mueller who as Executive Chef consistently produced great foood throughout our stay. Lovely location beautiful rooms & well looked after by Tor as well as the front desk staff. Wonderfully tranquil.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast spread. It may not be the most exotic or full service, but I have never seen such variety and well cooked food in the last 100 hotels I have stayed at. The lagoon room was wonderful the service was incredible. Easy checkin quick checkout and each restaurant was outstanding. I can say without question this is my new favourite hotel in Asia.

Wonderful resort, small in terms of size but has all we need (bar, restaurants, pool, spa). Got upgraded to the next room level and included complimentary laundry service, very appreciated.

All facility was clean and landscaping was well kept. All staff was very helpful and friendly. The best place i have stayed. Close to attractions and temples, but will need transportation. When i am in Hua Hin this would be my first choice

Beautiful resort with fantastic staff

This is a great choice for Hua Hin if you don't mind being a little way from the action, in a quiet area amongst beautiful grounds. The resort facilities were lovely and the room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Loved the pillow menu! Fantastic rain shower in the bathroom and very comfortable bed. But the staff are what made our holiday really memorable - absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. There was also a handy shuttle bus in and out of the main part of town, but there was a small charge for this. The only disappointment was the beach - from the photos I was expecting a much nicer beach for swimming but unfortunately it wasn't. The nicer swimming beaches are further south. But there was a big pool and plenty of lounge chairs. Thank you for the wonderful holiday we needed!

A charming resort for relaxation

Beautiful resort with well kept gardens. Good pool with a shallow part for smaller children. The beach is nice for walks. Food was almost always above expectations especially at Rim Nam the thai restaurant. Available food for children was also very good. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Great atmosphere and good place for relaxing. It is not brand new but well kept and has developed charm and character as opposed to a brand new or renovated resort.

This was our 2nd time at an Anantara property, and I was happy to find it was just as fabulous. Clean everything, great food, fun pool, and just a great place to lounge by the pool and be totally relaxed. Beautiful property. If you want tons of activity, then this is not your place. But if you want to take it easy after time in hectic Bangkok, then this is your place. Food is pricey, but the quality made it worthwhile.A+

Affordable Price excellent Service

i had one of the most relax five days vacation, the resort's Staff render an excellent service and always pending to the customers need.

Excellent cooking class

Pleasantly surprised by the value of this vacation, they provided a 200 value credit for use in the activities upon watching a seminar; we enjoyed a 90 minute spa, had a private cooking class with a real Thai chef, received a cooking recipe book on a USB, aprons, and all meals were delicious. The pool has a 2.6 metre deep end too - it's great for swimming and the beach is only 1 minute away. I highly recommend this location.

excellent location, the beach was small but cozy, the gardens and landscaping was awesome. the staff were very helpful and friendly, making every attempt to be supportive and kind. that made our stay very memorable. one staff esp was Dawan... went out of her way to make our stay totally awesome. super great hotel...love every moment of our stay...wished the shuttle to the town was free, tho!!

This is the best hotel that We have ever stayed at. It is a true 5 Star in our opinion. Beautiful Resort with Fantastic professional staff. The Buffet Breakfast is awesome! The Wi-Fi is OK. My wife's IPhone could not connect. It worked at other hotels so not sure why. Lots of English T.V. channels. Lovely pool. The beach is lovely for strolls when the tide is out but not really a swimming destination. Would go back anytime. If you go, try the weekend Beach BBQ. Tasty!

A great stay

My partner and I visited Hua Hin for a friend’s wedding but extended our stay to celebrate his birthday. We chose the Anantara based on previous experience (Bangkok). Upon arrival, the staff were accommodating and friendly. Check-In was quick and easy and we were able to get into our room earlier than we had initially hoped, just what we needed after the aprox 3hr journey from Bangkok. The hotel was clean and well-kept throughout. The pool was fantastic. Food and drinks are served all day from the popular pool side bar. This combined with the other restaurant options meant that we were both happy when staying in the hotel for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel is extremely safe being setback from the main road and all cars are tracked in and out of the complex. The hotel itself is set some ten mins from central Hua Hin (by taxi), so there may be slightly better options if that is a concern. That said, a taxi is only THB 200… and the hotel offers a shuttle service which can be prebooked.
