Beautiful hotel with outstanding service

Loved this hotel!! The Service by the staff, particularly by Rodrigo, was the best service i have gotten in any other hotel!! They are polite, and extreme helpful at all times! Rooms are extremely big, cleaned and elegant. Location is central to every single activity and it has great choices for restaurants: Fervor, Marcelo, and Freddo (for ice cream). This is a gem of a hotel. By the way, i am from Argentina, and know the city, and i will stay at Algodon Mansion over other big and famous hotels nearby. I highly recommend Algodon Mansion for everybody. Hope to return soon!!

We celebrated our wedding in Buenos Aires and the Algodon Mansion was the perfect place for us to stay. We felt VIP here thanks to the staff and service and wonderful rooms. Thanks to Rodrigo for all the assistance and making things so smooth. We will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful property! We were met with a beautiful note as we were celebrating our anniversary. It is an older property, we had the one bedroom suite, all 1300sf. It was well appointed but the tub was old and needs replacing. The staff was friendly and attentive, they went above and beyond. We had an excursion to Patagonia that we had not mentioned and did not return one night and they surely noticed and were concerned about our safety. After a day of touring you are welcomed with your choice of wines and snacks. Breakfast was included at the restaurant next door- Tea connection. They had great recommendations for dinner, if you like italian try Sottovoce and obviously Don Julio for steaks. Would definitely stay again and many Thanks to Rodrigo, Thomas and the entire staff. Leonardo the manager was very engaging and really tried to ensure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a memorable time.

A city gem

A fabulous gem of a hotel with exceptional service and a treat around every corner. We enjoyed the lovely snacks and wine which was always on offer. A great location for exploring the city and a lovely area to walk around. Highly reccomended.

I had great BD night at their hotel.all staff are super kind & very helpful.and hotel owner owned winery so wine service also amazing.definitely I’d like to stay again for sure.

This is a charming hotel in the heart of Recoleta. The staff is friendly, welcoming and extremely accommodating. We could not have been happier with our choice of hotels and can’t wait to come back.

Best hotel in BA

Absolutely OUTSTANDING - Can't say enough good

We had an AMAZING stay at the Algodon Mansion. Really can't say enough good. The location is perfect, in a very safe and quiet area. The amenities are generous and all included in the room rate, including everything in the mini-bar area. There are nibble bits at the lobby bar at all times...a continental breakfast with pastries, fruit, juices and coffee, and, sandwiches and cookies during the day with all kinds of drinks. There is a full lobby bar that is attended at all times, and, drinks and wine are also included. Since Algodon also has a winery up in the Mendoza Region, all their wines are available for free tasting. For breakfast, the continental items in the lobby bar area are available as mentioned above, but also, full breakfast is available next door at the Tea Connection Cafe, again, all included in the room rate. Our room was HUGE and the bed was the biggest we have ever slept in and VERY comfortable. But the Best thing about the Algodon Mansion is the service. Absolutely Outstanding especially from Rodrigo, Franco and Tomas. The feeling of this boutique property is all about very personal, quiet service. Again, can't say enough good and I hope we can return again sometime soon.

Algodon Mansion was fabulous. It is a grand yet intimate boutique with amazing, attentive staff and a perfect location in the center of Buenos Aires. The hotel is beautiful and well cared for and having breakfast and a light lunch available throughout the day (as well as the Algodon family wine) is a very nice touch. We were spoiled and would be thrilled to visit again some day. Highly recommend.

Rodrigo, Sofia, Tomas, Francisco & Pablo made our anniversary trip beyond expectations! They were exceptional the minute, we arrived at the hotel! Secondly, the rooms are large & there are only 3 rooms per floor (we hadn’t seen that before, & we travel quite a bit)! Thirdly, a shout out to Sophia for making my wife a special cocktail (and even gave the recipe to her colleagues, to make it for my wife when she wasn’t there)! Fourthly, the area is upscale, walkable & a great location! The pastry shop across the street is impeccable! Lastly, we highly recommend the hotel & if we ever go back to Buenos Aires, we’d stay there!

This place was amazing! The staff bends over backwards to make your stay perfect. We had a polo lesson (I don’t even know how to ride a horse but it was great). I can list 15 things they did but the result is top marks for them!!)

Great location with easy walk to shopping, restaurants and venues. Staff were all amazing. Breakfast, snacks and afternoon wine included. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the Algodon Mansion.

Last night of Argentina trip

A beautiful, boutique hotel to end our trip in Argentina. The location is very central, and excellent for strolling around the Recoleta neighborhood. This was a private residence that has been restored to a beautiful, 10 suite hotel, and restored at a very high level.

No hot water.

Great boutique hotel with excellent staff. The only drawback is that engineering could not fix the no hot water problem during my 3 day stay there.

Superb service

Service is superb, every member of the staff is super friendly and is well prepared to help you with anything you need. The hotel is small only 10 rooms and well located. Definitive a great choice if you come to Buenos Aires.

Algodon Mansion was a truly amazing Buenos Aires experience. Hotel is centrally located in Recoleta. Rooms are spacey, authentic and comfortable. Hotel staff was very thoughtful and helped with all of our needs including logistics and airport transfers as well. They provide local snack options including dulce de leche pastry and pair those with their wine. Overall the service is exceptional that will make you feel special and raise your standards of hospitality.

Hotel was beautiful and well located to major tourist attractions. Hotel room and staff were superb!

A truly special boutique hotel

Incredible staff and beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms . The staff was interesting and extremely helpful . The room are very high tech . Very enjoyable stay

Room was very Large and comfortable great bed and really nice sitting room it was closer to a suite then a regular room the bathroom was also very large and modern there was also a free bottle of wine and two bottles of water awaiting me in my room at no additional cost And the staff were amazing and accommodating they really make you feel at home I asked for a late checkout and was given until 5:00 PM at no additional charge will definitely stay there the next time that I travel to Buenos Aries

This a stunning hotel is a great location. The staff is very helpful and kind. So many wonderful details- food, wine, etc. I give Algodon my highest recommendation

We love Algodão Mansion, a exclusive special place

What a amazing, exclusive place to stay ! We really enjoyed our time here! Outstanding customer service, very clean, beautiful rooms, great location, gorgeous hotel. I forgot to take pictures of our beautiful suite. Breakfast place they use is next door and delicious ! We even got lucky that we got the roof top pool area all for ourselves for three afternoons after we did our tours. The room size and bathroom are very tasteful decorated and very comfortable . The lobby area, bar and snack is just a extra perk . Gorgeous, safe neighborhood, close to the best shopping area. We love Algodão mansion. Highly recommended!

Recoleta Mansion

Great location in Recoleta - no onsite food

NO ROOM even with a confirmed reservation

Despite the fact that I had a confirmed reservation with hotels.com, this hotel didn't have a room for me when I arrived at night—several hours after check-in time; they obviously overbooked. They did book a room for me for the night at another hotel but that was no consolation after a very long day of traveling. I would never book here again; I also think hotels.com should investigate the problem.

What a fantastic hotel! What a fantastic staff! You will not be disappointed, my friend! I felt like a king at this hotel and you will as well.

Awesome hotel with amazing wine

I’m a big fan of Relais & Chateaux properties which demands a lot from their properties. Algodon did not disappoint. It’s a little pricier than some hotels in Argentina, but you definitely make up for it in the complimentary wine which comes from their own winery. (Yes, it’s delicious.) The included breakfast is also great, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. And since the property is so small, it’s most likely the best 5 stat experience you’ll get in Buenos Aires.

Wonderful staff - helpful, friendly and diligent.

3 night stay was very enjoyable. The hotel staff are wonderful professionals. Great location, building with character and well designed. The hotel needs some updating and modifications (some of which are happening, such as the roof deck).

Algodon Mansion is beyond 5 stars. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The bathrooms too and the staff just wants you to feel at home..and they pamper you to make sure you do.

Good but not amazing

One of the main reasons I chose this hotel (instead of others) was the roof top pool and spa. However was under maintenance when we were there. We were never even told at check in. Beautiful hotel but that was annoying.

Best boutique hotel in Buenos Aires!

Great hotel to stay in. Located in Recoleta , walking distance to museums and great restaurants. Bartenders Pablo and Rodrigo prepared the best drinks, staff very friendly and educated , concierge: Leonardo, Rocío Alba and Martin very helpful!!!! Rooms very comfortable and spacious!!! Looking forward to going back!

A hidden gem in this beautiful city

From the moment we arrived at the hotel after a long trans Atlantic flight we were treated professionally and delightfully by every staff member we came across. The hotel is in a fabulous and safe location and just goes that extra half mile when we have compared it to other 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Would definitely return and stay next time we are in Buenos Aires

Hotel staff were excellent. The hotel room showed visible signs of water damage in the ceiling and wall, the walk in shower appeared to have mold/mildew and needed a good cleaning. The lobby bar had water dripping from the ceiling. The included wine/whiskey/non-alcoholic beverages in the lobby was a nice inclusion, the size of the hotel room was very large, ~600sq ft plus...the bed was the most comfortable we experienced in the hotels we stayed at in Argentina.

Small and chic hotel !

Loved this boutique hotel! The staff was friendly, wine offered every night, perfect location and huge, luxiourious rooms. Relais Chateaux has a gem here.

The Manager should be sacked

There is one old lift which you wait forever for so we took the emergency stairs. If there was a fire you would have no chance the stairwells are full of old tv’s, mattresses, piles of sheets and other junk. Clearly a breach of health and safety. The room itself is good quality especially the bed and bathroom. The rooftop pool only has 2 sun beds and the hotel offers no proactive service anywhere - had to ask the spa lady to ask someone to come up and offer drinks. They don’t offer towels, clear empty glasses etc at the rooftop. We called down trying for 30 mins to book a taxi. Only to be told on checking out the phone does not work. How disgraceful at a $500 a night hotel.

Algodon Mansion - one of a kind

Our stay at Algodon Mansion was truly exceptional. The hotel is located in the heart of Recoleta, a fashionable district that is within walking distance to excellent restaurants, shops and city landmarks. As the name implies, the hotel is a refurbished mansion with only ten suites so it feels like you're a guest in a luxurious home and not a hotel. Our suite was huge and well appointed (sitting area, two TVs, an enormous and comfortable bed). The bathroom was bigger than many hotel rooms. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and always eager to help. The included breakfast was varied and top notch. Their bar, sitting area and lobby was exquisitely decorated and inviting. The "charcuterie experience" featuring their house wines was fantastic. In short, a five star experience all the way around. I recommend Algodon Mansion highly and without reservation. We cannot wait to come back!
