The service was great! The food was good. The DJ and band were also good. My only complaint would be that the room would get very humid which caused a musty smell at times, but opening the room door helped. Overall, great experience..especially for the price!
The property and the staff were amazing. Love the view from the rooftop, coffee and atmosphere.
Atmosphere
I had a great stay here!
I lived Adra! So quaint and fun. Great drinks and food. The service was good and the rooms were clean.
Great Hostel
My 1st time at a hostel. Im glad I chose this one. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
You may get put into a 24 person dorm. However the bunks are private and fully enclosed, perforated box and a curtain. Ask for bottom level as they stack 3 high. Central area and rooftop are nice. Bathrooms are modern. No kitchen.
Everything amazing!!!
It was great
A nice hostel with friendly staff and close to everything in Antigua
Friendly reception, delicious breakfast, bathrooms and showers are clean and staff are constantly cleaning, so many seating options and beautiful rooftop sitting/hangout area!
Amazing place, great staff, food, location!
Wonderful location and hip vibe. My dorm had a fan in the bunk that drowned out the noise. I stayed 4 nights and really loved it!
Food was really good. Joseph and Frank were very helpful and great attitudes. I would come back with no problem.
I had a wonderful experience. Jack from front desk was very helpful and always willing to make the extra effort. Also, food was GREAT!!!! I truly loved the Burger (10/10) and the Chicken Sandwich was excellent as well. Thanks and I would for sure recommend this place to anyone.
The property was very clean, and beautiful! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The scenery, details, space and decor was very impressive. Comfortable stay. Restaurant and bar on premises. Views are outstanding. I will definitely stay again.
Itās great and the workers are really nice. One thing that bothered me was my last night there. one of the workers that is staying in the room I was staying had brought a guest from outside and making uncomfortable noises. You can assume what they were doing. I find it disrespectful, others pay to be there and if that person can bring someone over, others will want to do the same.
Don't unless you've no other choice
Nice new-ish hostel, clean and beds were comfortable. The issue I had was the level of noise, I stayed on a Friday and Saturdays and both days from 11am-11pm they played ridiculously loud music all day. I was not feeling good and resting in bed but the music and vibration was pounding through my chest. All dorm rooms are surrounding the courtyard and under the rooftop so there's no escape. If I had the energy to leave I would have. Also for Semana santa they hiked the price up 2.3 times, so greedy. No kitchen so breakfast is provided but its so tiny its not worth getting out of bed for. I've started in 7 hostels in Antigua and I would not stay in Adra again
Adra Hostel is a hostel, so keep your expectations reasonable. However, that being said, it was a good experience. I arrived a bit early, and even though my room wasn't ready, I could store my bags at the location without any issues. The whole establishment is very safe, storage-wise, and moving around-wise. I was in a dorm room with ~18 other beds, yet each room felt like a private (albeit small) room within a larger space. The highlight of the hostel is the restrooms. I had a glorious shower; the water is hot and consistently stays hot. Even in a room with multiple people having access to the same bathroom, you have enough privacy to settle in when you are in the restroom. Not to mention the bathroom was spotless. I can't sing enough praises for this part of the experience. There is a courtyard on the first floor and a wrap-around balcony on the second floor with a DJ at night, an excellent place to relax in the establishment. This was my first hostel experience, and overall I would say I had a positive experience. If you're easygoing and want to use your funds to enjoy Antigua versus overpaying for a place to rest your head, give Adra Hostel a look.
Excellent hostel with very nice amenities and service staff. Highly recommend and will be returning soon.
Owners have no respect for paying guests
One of the most beautiful properties I've seen but also one of the worst stays. The hostel owners closed the large courtyard lounge for a private party, forcing paying guests into their rooms. There were signs everywhere saying private event. I tried going to the connected restaurant to have some food, but the staff only cared about the party and completely ignored any guests who entered until they got up and left. So I got food elsewhere and tried to go to bed, but the party was blasting extremely loud music directly into the rooms. At 11:15 (hostel rules are quiet by 11), I went to the front desk to complain and they had the audacity to offer me earbuds. Only after quite a bit of back and forth did they shut down the party, but there was still noise much later from the staff wrapping everything up. When I left the next morning (sleep deprived) to catch my tour up Acatenango, an employee chased me down the street and told me that I didn't pay for my room and forced 250 Quetzals out of me. I insisted that I already paid online but I was already late and I didn't have time to argue. The next day I had to go out of my way back to the hostel to show my Hotels.com receipt and argue to get my money back. Funny thing is that there was another guest right next to me trying to check in and they were attempting to double charge him as well. He had also paid on Hotels.com. Other issues: no recycling, black mold in shower, triple-decker bunk beds are a pain to get in and out of.
Awesome place! Great location near lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Amazing terrace with great view of volcano fuego
Antigua Guatemala is so beautiful
It was amazing
Night at Adra before acatenango
It was a great night at Antigua the hostel is beautiful. Very clean and full of young people.
It's calm and lovely decorated, super clean and offers everything you might need.
Clean facilities, purified water available, staff friendly and efficient, beautiful rooftop view, close to everything in Antigua. They arranged transport to and from the airport. It was more like a boutique hostel. Courtyard had a gas fire, bar with food available, and excellent breakfast included in all rooms or bunks.
You wonāt be disappointed!
Great value. Family rooms are great for three or more friends. Beautiful courtyard and terrace!
Value for money
One of the best hostels I have stayed in so far. Private rooms are Devine and courtyard is super nice
Amazing service and Location. This place is great, there courtyard and amazing, clean and lovely people working here
Outstanding, affordable luxury. Private rooms are incredible. Excellent amenities and attention to detail. Restaurant is posh and a fantastic gourmet French experience. Bar is good. Local micro-brews on tap. A little pricy for a beer, but that ambiance is worth it!
Un lugar increĆble para visitar antigua
El hostal es lindo, limpio y organizado. El personal es muy amable y atento.

Excelente hostal
Excelente hostal.
Excelente experiencia!
Me encantó mi experiencia.
value of cost is good.
