Dirty room and black mold in the bathroom. Very loud music from the mosque every morning at 6am, since this hotel is right next to it. The photos does not match the actual hotel, 2-star hotel at max.

The Hotel is welcoming and offers very good, no frills accommodation. No bar or breakfast options but close to many establishments so you are spoilt for choice. The bedding and towels were excellent. Would have rated higher but our fridge didn't work, neither did the bathroom extractor and the window was hard to close. Despite the central location, close to the waterfront in Karakoy, it was very quiet. Daily housekeeping even over a public holiday. Helpful reception staff who made recommendations when asked and sorted our airport taxi. Would definitely stay here again.

The property has a very good and convenient location for going any highlighted places. The room is clean, but too small.

Very good location and easy to access all the main areas being in the heart of Istanbul. The hotel itself was average. The rooms could be cleaner, especially the bathroom.

Great Location! close to all attarctions nice restaurants on bosphorus, the galata port and Galata tower. walkable distance to most of tourists attractions. Hope on hope off bus at 1min walk from hotel. Nice room size with central AC/Heating clean and nice staff. The only thing I did not like is you can hear ppl in corridors and water loudly when neighbors are showring! Good price/quality ratio, I would stay there again! thanks

I booked a room that had stairs, but at the property I was told that I had to specify it as a special request. Please make sure you make it clear while booking the room. The rooms looked bigger in pictures. Also, the bathrooms didn't have hooks to hang clothes, etc. They are also very small.

The hotel was mediocre for business use and not large enough to enjoy the trip with a partner. I believe the name of the hotel “Boutique” can be misleading. But very accessible and convenient. The room amenity was so poor that they don’t give us tooth blushes. And small towels were not prepared. These points can be improved.

The staff were superb and so helpful. As a solo woman traveler they helped me navigate Istanbul and gave me recommendations on how to move through the city. The hotel was wonderful - quite, clean and convenient.

I had a lovely stay at Ada Hotel. The room was very clean, had everything I required. It was also very assessable to the areas I wanted to explore. The staff were lovely. I really enjoyed the company of Sener and had many a conversation about life, what was going on in the world, general chit chat. He also provided me with lovely things to do locally (museums, restaurants etc). He really made my stay most enjoyable. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. I enjoyed my stays at ADA Karakoy. The front desk guys were very helpful and housekeeping was great as well. The location ,for me , was very convenient with easy access to ferries , trams, tünel, and buses. I would stay again!

The front desk Reception people were friendly and helpful and always available. I also liked the location close to the sea and the restaurants. Didn't like: rooms way too small and whole property did not match the website photos. Staff struggled with mechanical and electrical issues. TV had no channels in English.

Customer service was excellent, room was very small but area that the hotel is in was really good, close to the water and tram station, so it was easy to get around. Masjid right beside the hotel, so I could hear the athan in the morning which was really nice. Ask the front desk for any reccomendations for shopping! Thanks for a great stay!

Overall, I would describe this hotel as “functional”. Clean, simple, and close to Eminonu for easy walking. Rooms are small, even for a “deluxe”. Only issue was shower not draining at all… had to take quick 60 second showers. If you’re looking for a quiet and reasonable hotel that is close to everything, then this should serve you well.

Lovely hotel with super comfortable bed and helpful staff. They really go the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome, even surprising me with a birthday cake in the room. It was so kind that it left me speechless. The receptionists are so polite and friendly. One of them even lent us his transport card after the machine swallowed our last Turkish lira bills. The area surrounding the hotel, I dare say, is one of the coolest in town, with narrow streets full of charming bars and restaurants. It’s also a short walk from the main attractions on the other side of the bridge. Great in all senses!!!

The Ada Karakoy was a nice clean place to stay. It is conveniently located near public transportation. The rooms are generously sized and clean. The concierge were very helpful, honest and friendly. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend to others

We enjoyed three nights at the Ada Karakoy. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable with a window looking out toward the water. The 6th floor glass-enclosed terrace is a nice space for reading and relaxing with a lovely view and we went up every morning for coffee and reading. Fortunately one of the staff showed us how to shift the windows to take advantage of a light breeze - otherwise the space can get quite hot in the summer sun. We were usually the only people there. All of the staff we encountered at Ada Karakoy were friendly and helpful. We got wonderful recommendations every night for nice restaurants within reasonable walking distances. The hotel staff helped with reservations and one evening the restaurant sent an employee to the hotel to walk us to the restaurant- Rafikoli - so that we wouldn't miss the turn, slightly off the main street! We loved the Karakoy neighborhood - tourist-friendly without being too touristy - in easy walking distance to Galata Bridge, the Tower and other sights.

Wonderful property close to transportation - bus, trams, ferry, etc. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Staff was wonderful - so helpful and friendly. Offered great ideas around the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Cosy Hotel in Karakoy

I recently spent a week at the Ada Karakoy Hotel. It felt like home, I really loved my room which was decent size, queen bed, clean, coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary water. The staff are super helpful and friendly and organised my hotel/airport transfers. It was especially handy being able to communicate via WhatsApp with the hotel manager ahead of my arrival to Istanbul. The staff also assisted with booking appointments and tours. It is located in a small laneway but positioned within minutes from Karokoy wharf which is lined with many restaurants and street snacks. I will definitely be back next year.

A homelike hotel

The hotel is in the center of the Asian part of Istanbul and is close to everything. In contrast to some big brand hotels which are professional but kind of intimidating. The staff has excellent service to make you feel like you live in a family hotel. This is the best part I enjoy about this hotel.

Matress was very bad, the closet smelled strong moisture. The room is very tiny. Friendliness of the staff varied immensely depending on the person.

Nice location

A Hidden Gem!

Amazing place, amazing staff! Shoutout to the hotel managers and cleaning staff! They were nice, courtious and understanding. The location of the hotel is amazing. Just steps from the boat docks, trains and busses, as well as less than 20 min of walking to istiklal street. Every place is easily accessible at a moments notice. Quiet area as well, might I add! Room is the perfect size (we got upgrade for free to a larger room. Im unsure of the size of the economy room). I love every part of this hotel!

We booked the economy room by mistake. Its very tiny hardly space to sleep. So cant tell what it feels to be in a proper room here. However, location of this hotel is perfect if you want to see the old city. Walking distance from Misri bazaar , galata tower is near also but steep uphill walk.

It was an old property but a good location. The breakfast area was closed due to covid. The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were smaller than their pictures online.

Clean and comfortable hotel

Had a family holiday recently and stayed at this hotel. When we first entered the hotel, I was a bit concern as there was some strong smell (some kind of oils fragrance) at the lobby. Luckily when our rooms are smell free, very clean and comfortable beds. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Galata tower and loads of good eateries close by. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Amazing small comfortable hotel in a great location. Good sized room, really lovely staff, nice breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Bosphorus. Only negative was the poor, unreliable internet speed. Would love to stay here again. Bus from airport stops at Eminonu just short walk across the bridge(use road level footpath to avoid steps). Returning to airport we got the metro-tram past Eminonu to Sultanmet Square where the same Havist S1 bus terminates.

Not To Miss

I had a great stay at Adakarakoy. sener the receptionist is amazing, he cares about the guest and their comfort and goes the extra mile to help. The bed is extremely comfortable so are the pillows. The location is excellent neat the Bosphore and any great restaurants and the Galata Tower ad well as eminonu and the spice bazaar which one of the must see sites. The Karakoy team is 1 minute away and takes you in few minutes to most Istanbul’s attractions for a fraction of the price. I had a memorable stay at this small but wonderful hotel.

Great hotel we would definitely stay there again. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming, and absolutely perfect location in the middle of every part of town. One tip for people looking to stay downtown Istanbul - it's a historic city so all the buildings are very old and the rooms small. You're just not going to find enormous rooms anywhere in this part of town. In this hotel, our room was small but extremely well renovated. You can tell that the owners have invested in doing a top quality renovation of the building. For example, the doors are really high quality and the windows are the best quality windows I've ever seen - very heavy and double glazed and once closed, completely blocked out any noise from the street below. Windows sound obscure, but the benefit of top quality windows is that as the street noise is all blocked out you'll get a great nights sleep and a sleep in if you wish. Another thing to note is that because of room size challenges, many downtown hotels (even top rated ones) don't even have a real door between bedroom and bathroom, just a sliding facade. Our (double deluxe) room in this hotel had a totally separate bathroom with a door. Only little problem was that the shower door was broken. It wasn't a big problem and considering the comfort and benefits of the hotel, would not effect the fact I'll definitely stay here again!

This hotel is very handy for getting to Galata Bridge and it’s very close to the T1 line, which takes you right to all the main sights in the old city. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Best place to stay in istanbul.

Best location, all transportation means are at walking distance. Very fast check in and out. Lovely team of staffs, special thanks to Mr. Sener, Mr. Farooq and Mr. Kadhim. Breakfast and WiFi were perfect. The galata and istiklal street are at walking distance. I highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed at Ada Karakoy Hotel for 5 nights. Highly recommend it. The location is excellent, lots of restaurants nearby. The tram is also close, the staff are super nice, the rooms are modern looking and clean, and the Wifi was very good.

Would not stay here again

We booked this hotel because it was rated very high. Unfortunately we were not very happy with our stay. Reasons: - No soundproof in rooms, very loud at most times, also right next to a mosque - No iron in the rooms, you have to go down to the lobby with your clothes to iron them in a weird dark room - Rooms are very small - Water in the shower is pretty weak, takes time to wash hair - Unprofessional staff (e.g., not helpful to solve problems, chatting around at the lobby all the time) Would not stay here again.

Excellent Location and Excellent Service

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my daughter and even though the original room was very small in size, the management went out of their way and upgraded us to a bigger room. The room was very clean, comfortable, close to many restaurants and other popular attractions. The management even made phone calls to find information for us and booked a taxi for us for the airport. On the whole, I found the hotel to clean and modern and very high standard of their service quality. The management was very friendly helpful and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great location

This hotel has helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent. You can't beat the location; so close to the ferry, the tram and the bus sevice to get you to all the major sites.

Comfortable stay, amazing location

Our room was right next to a mosque but it wasnt so loud. Rooms were clean, modern and quite comfortable.

Good hotel

We stayed here for a couple of nights, then flew to Cappadocia and then returned here for a night. The hotel staff were very friendly and and helpful especially Sener who even recommended places we should visit in Capadocia. The hotel is clean and modern and the breakfast good. It has good transport links and is in walking distance to many attractions.

Double rooms have two type, one is very small, one is big. No special view is seen at the room.

Superb hotel in perfect location!

Fabulous hotel. Bijou room, sparkling clean modern, good quality facilites. Everything you need. Brilliant wifi, Safe and Fridge in room. Lovely shower room with hairdryer, toiletries etc. Very comfortable bed and lovely bed linen. Great breakfast. Friendly, professional and helpful reception staff. Would stay again and recommend without hesitation.

Excellence in Istanbul

We arrived very early after a 20 hour flight, hoping to just drop off our bags so that we could explore the city. To our surprise and delight, we were welcomed and checked in immediately, allowing us to get refreshed before exploring Istanbul. Reception staff were very friendly and informative. Our room was excellent - very clean and comfortable. Wifi signal was strong and reliable. The breakfast we received was the best we had in more than 3 weeks travelling throughout Europe, and this Hotel was easily the best value for money of any hotel we have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay in this hotel should we visit Istanbul again!

I had a fantastic time at Ada karakoy hotel! Just loved the neighborhood, lovely cafe and beautiful stores all around... Great also for transportation there is a tram right across the street! The staff was super friendy and nice. the breakfast area is stunning and the food is super yummy.., really looking forward to be back & highly recommend it!!!

Great hidden gem

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff took every opportunity to be helpful--arranging airport transportation, giving us maps and information on tourist sites etc. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a big variety of hot and cold selections served in a lovely enclosed terrace overlooking the beautiful city of Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good price, location, quality and service

We stayed here because of its close proximity to the cruise terminal. It is also very well situated, next to the Bosphores and very close to the Tramline. It is surrounded by trendy and traditioanl restaurants. A short tram ride takes you to Sultanhamet, where the major tourist attractions are. Galata tower and taksim is also very close. The rooms are very comfortable and the service outstanding. The view from the rooftop terrace is fantastic and we were met and welcomed by both the Hotel Manager and the Communications Manager. We received a map and great suggestions and tips to maximise our travel experience. They were so accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage two weeks later for one day. The staff and service is exceptional!

This is a really great little boutique hotel located right near the Karakoy stop on the Blue Tram Line. Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood nestled close to the Bosphorus River. You will love the 6th floor eating area and the great view of the Asian side of the City and its Mosques. The staff was friendly and very helpful and spoke excellent English. I highly recommend this little hotel...you will love it. I am quite critical of hotels that oversell themselves but not the Ada Karakoy..Great room, excellent breakfast, clean bathroom, quiet location and nice beds....it was everything advertised and more which left me looking forward to my next visit.

sehr freundliches Personal. sicheres Hotel mit einer coolen Terrasse beste Lage in Istanbul für einen Städtetrip - Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber ausreichend, wenn man kein Wert auf Luxus lebt. - Matratzen waren leider nicht gut. - Zimmer sind klein. Lieber etwas mehr Geld investieren und ein größeres Zimmer buchen. Im Großen und Ganzen können wir dieses Hotel mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Danke an das Personal im Hotel, die alle ihre Arbeit sehe gut ausführen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. <3

Perfect location near the ferries, tram & tunnel. Friendly staff

Punto strategico ,in centro ,vicino a mezzo di trasporto la via e' solo pedonale e senza locali notturni quindi silenziosa. Personale estremamente disponibile e cortese per ogni necessità. Peccato che pur disponendo di una bella terrazza questa non avesse il servizio bar.

Nettes Personal, Bequeme Matratzen und saubere Zimmer. Zu Fuß ist vieles erreichbar sowohl Metro als auch Lokale.

Aufenthalt OK, Bad hat Schimmel.

Die Zimmer waren schnell kühl mit der Klimaanlage, auf den ersten Blick auch sauber. Das Mobiliar wie Tisch, Nachttisch und Beistelltisch waren schon sehr heruntergekommen. Im Bad war Schimmel in der Dusche. Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten, aber man konnte auf die sachteres um sich kostenlos Kaffee aus dem Automaten zu holen. Die Personen an der Rezeption waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Very pleasant experience. Excellent location, still very quiet, so we slept well. Room was nice and very clean and staff was so helpful. They arrange sim cards for phone, covid19 testing at hotel, and ride to airport - everything for your smooth holiday.

Her sabah yan odaların kapı sesleri ile uyandım. Her sabah temizlikçilerin yüksek sesle konuşmaları ile uyandım. Oda çok tozluydu. Nereye bir eşyamı koysam toz aldı. Otelde sıcak içecek yiyecek yok.

Locatie was prima. Nette kamer en fris ingericht. Jammer dat er geen ontbijt werd geserveerd, maar in de buurt zaten genoeg mogelijkheden om te gaan ontbijten.
