Coming back next time

I really enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff and they were very kind and let me check out late to suit my requirements. Kitchenette was basic but had everything i needed. Not the fanciest but i would come again

There was a pool advertised but it was not available and had not been for years by the look of it

The service was excellent but the place was tired. Very clean but things such as the iron, and the cooking utensils need updating. Over all it was just sufficient.

Was what I thought it would be. Great budget accommodation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again without a doubt.

Local Motel

A refreshing change from previous place I had been regularly using. Easy access, with good parking. Short walking distance from mall with good bars and restaurants. Unfortunately had a room with a dodgy heater (lucky it wasn't too cold). Manager was helpful

I would describe the general condition of the property as well worn. Generally it was clean, however walls were very scuffed and there was a definite odour

Disappointed that when I booked the motel it came up on Expedia as 100, but then charged 170? The motel was expensive for what it was, the room smelt a bit damp, and there was a lot of traffic noise.

Clean, good size rooms

Large room with a comfortable big bed. Shopping within walking distance. Very clean and tidy. In a quiet area, but a lot of noise late at night from other guests outside their rooms smoking and socialising. Expensive considering the location, but it was close to the retirement village where my mother lives.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Rooms were immaculately clean with all comforts and conveniences for a 3 night business stay. Friendly helpful staff and opposite a good mall. Recommended

Close to Botany town centre

Free parking, free milk, tea & coffee, a reasonable size of room, the staff offered us a ground level room (so that we didn’t need to take stairs with heavy luggage) and free WiFi access - awesome The fridge and heater were a bit noisy, furniture was slightly old fashioned

Housekeeping not done had to request face cloths everyday.cooking Element not working. Had to ask for hot chocolates tea etc everyday. Owner blatantly didn’t care arrogant man. Daughter got bites every night from bed. Overall worse place I’ve stayed ever!!!

Nice hotel

Had a nice stay here with my friend. Room was good but unfortunately the room was overrun with ants. The hotel staff did everything they could to get rid of them.

Nice little motel. Location was handy to shopping centre. Found the bedding configuration a bit odd but other than that it was fine.

I requested a late check in, they were very accommodating. Also very helpful about giving me directions to my meeting the next day.

The staff and the facility could not have been better. Convenience to shopping and airport we excellent

Just missing a few things...

Looked like decent motel online (similar name to one just down the road too) and it was nice, but missing a few things... like air con, for the hot nights I was there. Not enough parking, so I had to do laps of local streets to find one. Had small fold out windows I had to open as it was so warm in the room, which thanks to people checking out at 3am and 5am made for a restless night. Also weird my room had no wet towel rail or hangers. Older well used mattress and a shower head that leaked badly was enough for me in the end. Staff are nice, but there are lots of other motels to choose from, find a better one in your search.

Good for overnight

Was perfect for our overnight stay. Tidy and cleanish

Met at reception one hour early room was ready all good.But no milk supplied for tea / coffee only saw it should have been after we bought our own.

Okay for an older facility.

Air conditioner was useless on warm and muggy night. Kitchen sink was plugged. They used plunger to clear clog. Next morning awakened by sounds of sink gurgling. Clogged again. Swimming pool needed cleaning. Beds comfortable. Sufficient dishes and utensils for making own meals. Cleaned each day. Staff pleasant.

It was pleasant, room clean and tidy

The experience was pleasant but the bed hard and not very comfortable.

Nearly All motels throughout NZ include FREE WI FI just the same as they provide free electricity, free water free kichenatte (with everything that goes with it ! ), They are all included in the price of the room. Internet became a basic everyday service just as water, electricity etc. And there is absolutely no reason to charge extra for it. So it would be very nice if this nice motel stop charging for WI FI ($10 for 2 hours...) and provide it as part of the “package״ that is already included in the price of a room.

Awesome accommodation

Service was well received and room was excellent. Would return when in Auckland next.

Not recommended at all

It was bad experience. I found cockroach in the room. Spoon was dirty. Bed has some flea and i am suffering with itching and bumps on my feet and around tummy. Only reason i booked this place was distance to my visiting office.

Close to Botany shopping centre

Friendly staff, comfortable unit . Along side a main road but surprisingly quiet. The best part is the location. Stayed two nights. would stay again

A well situated hotel close to a shopping centre will all the amenities Rooms serviced every day (I stayed for 5).

Save your money and dont stay here

Hated every minute of our stay. No free Wifi. Shower was just a trickle. Lounge chair was torn and damaged. Rude staff. Half the power points did not work. Television in the bedroom was straight out of the 20th Century. Definitely not value for money here.

Horrible experience

I wish I could say something nice about this hotel but I cant. We booked the one bedroom executive room for 3 nights. The room smelt so bad that I had to go and buy room deodorizer so make it bearable to stay in. The shower was a trickle and there were no towel racks. No free wifi is disappointing. Staff were rude. It has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a bad ending to an otherwise great holiday in New Zealand. My recommendation is save your money and stay somewhere else.

Visiting for the NZ Open at Windross Farm

I had a studio room for one person. Although the room itself was OK the door needed some CRC or a new lock as I had difficulty opening it. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and need a good repaint. They should also double glaze the windows as my room backed onto a road behind the motel and was quite noisy. I recently stayed at the Travelodge in central Wellington which was less than this and thought that this room was not worth more than that.

Definitely the best of the Botany motels. Great service and very convenient.

Easy access to airport

Good place to stay, easy to get to airport and visit family, had an issue with door but host sorted, car parking maybe needs a bit of sorting ( when motel was full on one of our nights we had a lady knock on our door (late) and ask if we had double parked behind her) apart from that we had a fabulous stay

Convenient but not clean

Our family stayed for 3 nights and there was no service done during that time. Someone came into our room while we were out for no reason given they didn't service the room which was unsettling especially for my children. No free wifi was a deal breaker as to whether we would stay again.

Not Worth It...

Have stayed at way better Motels for cheaper... Arrived at Motel owner wasn't very friendly..Rooms were ok... No milk in fridge and fridge setting to high...TV had ghosting happening so very hard to watch.. A lot of yelling and noise outside from other people staying in other units going on even after 2.30am in the morning... Asked for sofa bed to be made up but we still had to finish making it and also move furniture around to be able to open it up... Won't stay here again....

Convenient to Botany Town Centre

Great check in, very easy and helpful. It was lovely to have a coffee plunger and coffee, and fresh milk, extra touches that made the stay more enjoyable. We will be back. Thank you for having us.

Average Room

Décor dated and Needs a new Bed, Stayed 6 years ago, so bed at least that old.? It was overpriced as can get a 5 star in the city for the same price, perhaps out of town and not a lot of motels in the area.

nice, clean and comfortable

Nice motel for an overnight stop, very clean and comfortable, just off the main road, you can hear some road noise but not so it keeps you awake, there is a nice town on the opposite side of the main road with shops and restaurants. Would stay again

Great location & very clean but noisy

Hotel was in a great, the room had good facilities and a as clean. Unfortunately even with all Windows closed there was a huge amount of road noise. The noise eased about 11pm but by 5am it was a speedway outside my window. Rooms toward rear of complex might be better.

We really enjoyed our time of 7days. The help we got from the management was formidable. The kindness great. They made our last week in new Zealand unforgettable.
