Great Hotel, Friendly staff and Close to everythin

Great location and with many shopping and dining options just outside the front door. We had a nice view of the Acropolis. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Better than expected

This hotel is a dump. Constant piercing elevator noise whenever it is operating. Elevator needs maintenance and building needs better noise insulation. That high pitch noise will drive you crazy. All the wall switches are sticky to the touch. The window curtain in the shower looks moldy and dirty. The table in room is too wobbly and unusable. There’s a church next door and the bell rang every half an hour, plus they play a longer melody at 8 am to help wake you up. I was forced to book another place on short notice and checked out early mainly due to the unbearable high-pitch elevator noise. Moved to a place a couple of blocks away with no aforementioned issues at all. Hotel is vindictive and refuses to refund me for the remaining two nights, resulting in a loss of almost 400 U.S. dollars. Trust me, don’t book this hotel. You can find much better quality places nearby.

Church rings bell EVERY half hour. More noise elsewhere. They want u to throw dirty tp in waste bin. Noisy guests. Thin walls. Space around door. Room was updated. Got no sleep here.Dangerous sewer fumes from bathroom woke me up. Had to click on fan in bath. Still felt dizzy later on.

Great place

Great place in very central location. Pleasant stay with renovated rooms. Internet connection needs improvement.

Overall it was a good stay. Location and staff were great. However, basic facilities at the hotel are missing.. no phone in the room, no slippers, no proper bed covers, super small bed (smaller than queen size) for two. Unfortunately won’t book again.

Great little spot in the heart of all the city center activities. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Located in an ideal location between Monastiraki and Syntagma metro stations. Our room had a view across the Cathedral and the corner of the Acroplis. Staff were helpful and efficient. Room cleaners first class. Although right in the thick of it, room was very quiet. (5th storey).

Hotel is in a good location room spacious and clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Only incovinient was that the hairdryer was not working but not that bothered

Above Athens is cetrally well located and close to all attractions. The main disturbance is the noise. As nor the windows, nor the walls are sound proof, guests who are extremely loud last night didn’t allow us to sleep. In the absence of the receptionist, we couldn’t complain.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is absolutely amazing—within walking distance to all the vibrant spots in downtown Athens. Everything you want to see, from historic sites to trendy cafes, is just a short stroll away. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay while exploring Athens, this hotel is definitely the way to go!

The hotel location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are nice with a great view and the front desk staff were extremely friendly/helpful.

We were welcomed by lovely, humble and hospitable staff during our stay. During the cheking we were swiftly introduced to the hotel operations and the facilities. We stayed on the the 6th floor in a room with a spectacular view of Athens historical buildings looking at us in all its glory. Due to the building being surrounded by other building the air-conditioning and the ventilation will be visible from the rooms balcony on the grounds. The room was cosy, the bathroom spacious and it was fully air-conditioned with a comfortable bed, a desk and a fridge in the room. Kettle with sachets of tea and coffee was also provided. If you are travelling to Athens as a tourist and would like to be close to the sceneries then Abov would be a right choice. Parkings are also available in walking distance. Please note that most of the parkings will be closed during night hours in case you will need your car to go out.

The hotel was in a great area and we had a pretty good stay overall. However, the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7. This made us feel a little unsafe, especially when there was a power outage in the middle of the night during our stay. Apparently power outages can be common in Athens, so something to consider!

Our stay was good but it was very noisy from the street and the walls are thin. The property has a good location for many of the sights but if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you.

Thus hotel is a great choice!

Perfect location, good hotel renovation, very helpful staff. Room was big and comfortable, the lighting was nice. Besides the price that is little high for hotel's facilities, our stay was pleasant and we would stay there again because of the location and the condition of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Nice property, had a great experience with room with view of acropolis and large balcony. Clean rooms with very friendly service and would recommend this hotel. It is within walking distance of most of the city center and Athens attractions including acropolis. Would recommend if staying near city center.

Right in the Middle of it all

This recently renovated and opened boutique hotel is perfectly located to put you in the middle of much of ancient Athens. Many restaurants and tavernas close by. The room was clean if a bit Spartan, but very suitable for our short stay. When the roof top tables and seating area is opened, the view of the Acropolis will be one of the best in Athens. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

Stayed 2 nights. Short walk from Syntagma. Room 205, located at the front of the hotel. Killer shower. Awesome roof top view. In the heart of everything: no better location. Bad spot for light sleepers: live music in the evenings; and deliveries/garbage collection (and church bells) in the mornings.

Great location, friendly staff, very nice room with good view

The location was great and very walkable. The property itself did not have much amenities and the staff was not as helpful as I'd like for getting information or making reservation for airport taxi.

The best view

The hotel has a great location and a great balcony. I could see the Parthenon from my hotel window and from the balcony. Unfortunately that is the end of the list of positives. The room felt very small for a “Superior Suite”. The sofa bed was very very uncomfortable and prone to falling. The air conditioner in the room took FOREVER to lower the temperature of the room even a little bit. And it wasn’t just because Athens was hot because we stayed in a different hotel earlier and had plenty of cool air. This place was overpriced for what was provided.

It was completely different what they offering on their service

In a great location from metro, shopping and food. Looks like the space has been renovated recently. I liked the amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff so friendly and helpful! The cons: you can hear everything in your room from the hallway. That’s it though. I would stay here again in the future.

The hotel is in a great area, but unfortunately, the room didn’t quite meet expectations. There were scratches on the walls and ceiling, and the sofa had some dust and marks, probably from luggage since there was no dedicated spot to place it. Some towels were mismatched and worn out, and there were small maintenance issues like a loose shower knob and an unclean ashtray on the terrace. When we mentioned the towel problem at reception, the staff didn’t seem very concerned, but they did provide a replacement. Overall, while the location is excellent, there are better options in the area for a similar price.

A room with industrial air conditions

The location of the hotel is very good. But I can't say the same for the classic room we stayed in. It is a building converted from a residence to a hotel. Therefore, many of these types of rooms face the apartment's inner void. You can't open the window; the balcony faces the industrial air conditioners of a shopping mall, which is both very noisy and makes the balcony unusable. These massive air conditioners make the hot Athens even hotter when you step out onto the balcony. The good side is that you are forced to constantly explore Athens because you don't want to stay in the room. :)

El hotel muy bien ubicado, muy limpio, con una atención excelente por parte de los encargados. Muy amables, nos dieron recomendaciones y siempre atentos.

Situé sur une rue piétonnière inaccessible en auto ,on a dû marcher plusieurs km avec nos valises parce que le stationnement était vraiment loin .l’hotel manque véritablement de décoration et de relooking .point fort vu magnifique de la terrasse du toit mais la terrasse n’est vraiment pas entretenue

Πολύ καλή διαμονή. Τέλεια τοποθεσία στο κέντρο . Μια μικρή κουζίνα εάν είχε θα ήταν 10. Όμως αυτό δεν πειράζει τη εξερετικη διαμονή.
