The Ultimate Mountain View getaway

From the moment you arrive at this stunning home, Peggy warmly welcomes you and escorts you to your room, offering complimentary drinks and delicious canapés. As noted in other reviews, Peggy prepares an excellent breakfast with a variety of choices to satisfy everyone. Your room is well-equipped, featuring a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Since the weather was warm we did not use the fireplace in the lounge, however we did use the upstairs area with its kitchen, dining space, and covered outdoor deck with a spa with breathtaking views of Mount Warning. Nearby dining options are limited to a local pub, with many choices available in Murwillumbah, 15 minutes away. During our three-night stay, we enjoyed the local pub on the first night, used the kitchen on the second, and had a barbecue on our last night. The sparkling swimming pool offers a perfect view of Mount Warning, as did our room. The entire property is impeccably maintained, thanks to Peggy’s expert gardening skills. The property is a short drive away from the Tweed section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, a beautiful 24 km route from Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek, that you can either walk (which we did) or cycle. We look forward to returning and believe many other guests will too.

A View of Mt Warning B&B was fantastic! It is in a unique and beautiful location, with spacious and immaculate rooms and facilities. The views are spectacular and the pool is great. Peggy was a fantastic host and makes amazing breakfasts! Definitely recommend if you want a getaway in a unique and quiet location.

Our host Peggy was amazing, lots of knowledge, very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing!!! Very kind host and accomodating host and would highly recommend staying here!! I left my jacket and she called me straight away so I wouldn't leave my fav. jacket behind!!

Hidden Gem

We booked here to be close to the northern rivers but in a quite location. All that we got. The surprise was the breakfast each morning. You have a selection to choose from the night before and you can have it a time that suits. The standard of the food was very, very good. I looked forward to the breakfast very day! Oh, and the drinks and canapes on arrival was just a lovely touch. Thank you Peggy

Wonderful place to stay and relax. Canapés on arrival a nice surprise and the owners recommended and booked us a table at Marvis’ Restaurant for dinner. Great value for money.

We were made to feel very welcome. Drinks and nibbles on arrival. Log fire at night. Hostess happy to made adjustments to breakfast. Plenty of food.

The service was impeccable. Peggy made sure that we were warm, had supplies and a great communicator. The canapés on arrival and the 5 star breakfast was the cherry 🍒 on top... as not many B&Bs serve a hearty hot breakfast included (in the overnight stay), if at all. Central to all the tourist spots without the chaos of the hustle or bustle. Will definitely book another getaway in the near future. Thanks 🙏

A View of Mount Warning

Peggy was the perfect host at A View of Mount Warning. She welcomed us with canapés, helped us work out how to get to the wedding we were attending and provided a fabulous breakfast the next morning. The views were beautiful and the surroundings were peaceful.

Our host, Peggy, was brilliant. She couldn't do more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Great communication prior to our arrival. Very comfortable bed, yummy food and great hot tub. Beautiful surroundings.

Struck gold

Warmly welcomed by the owner, Peggy. After settling in to our comfortable room, canapés and wine were served and consumed while gazing at the lovely view of Mount Warning. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night in this wonderful property. It would be a lovely base for walkers or for just ‘vegging out’.

We loved the hot tub! Welcome drinks and little cheeseplate was amazing, also beautiful Al la carte breakfast, cooked for order:-)

A stunning location with incredibly friendly staff

Accommodation of the highest standard. The location is superb as was the welcome and treatment we received from our hosts which went well beyond what might reasonably have been expected. Would highly recommend this to anybody wanting a peaceful hideaway to either explore the coast or the hinterland.

This place was in the hinterland .... A nice quiet spot for a romantic get away with an outdoor spa looking toward my warming and a beautiful fire place to enjoy a glass of port and just relax. The hosts were excellent and the home made breakfast was yum

Lovely stay near Mount Warning

Very pleasant stay 10 minutes from the Wollumbin National Park entrance and Mount Warning car park in a beautiful setting with views to Mount Warning and the surrounding countryside. The B&B is a circular building that tops a hill with 4 guest rooms with views to Mount Warning. The building construction is very interesting in itself all rooms having access to a shared sitting room and upper level terrace with spa bath. The hostess greeted us with a glass of wine and canapes and provided beautiful breakfasts on the sunny terrace of the shared area.

Great location, facilities and service

Our stay at A View of Mt Warning was amazing. Peggy met us as soon as we arrived and once settled provided us with some tasty canapes to enjoy. We even managed to sneak in a lazy afternoon spa which over looks Mt Warning and got to watch the sunset which was beautiful. We were in Room 4 and the room had everything we needed, the bed was nice and comfy and had a great view from the veranda. Peggy made a great breakfast everyday which set us up for our days of exploring and had some nice recommendations for dinner - we highly recommend Mavis' Kitchen - every course was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect weekend getaway

For a couples weekend away, we were extremely happy with this bed and breakfast and highly recommend it. Directions given to us via email were very helpful in finding the place and the property has great signage. We were met at our car by our wonderful host Penny and shown to our room. Each of the 3 rooms have there own entry and car space. On arrival we were offered canapes and drinks including wine all of which was beautifully presented. Our room was clean and tidy with everything you would expect from a hotel room. I could only say the bathroom is a little on the small size but adequate. The bonus of this place is the common area which has a lounge room around a fireplace and big TV. Although it is a shared area we had the lounge and the lovely warm fireplace to ourselves for dinner. Upstairs another bonus is a hot tub overlooking exquisite views of the mountains. Check out at 11am gave us ample time for a sleep in before enjoying a delicious breakfast cooked by our host. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return to this gem of a place in the mountains.

Modern facilities, excellent mountain views

Spacious, well appointed room with inviting social areas. Hosts are welcoming and obliging. A wood fire made the living room cosy as we enjoyed drinks and canapés. Breakfast menu offers a wide choice and the meal was delicious. An early morning fog added atmosphere to the views while we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and watched the mountain view gently appear as the fog lifted. Beautiful setting with stunning views. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Wedding Getaway

Had a wedding to attend, my partner and i stayed for the weekend. Such an amazing little getaway with a beautiful view of the valley. Peggy was a wonderful host, serving a beautiful breakfast in the morning... Couldn’t fault anything, thank you so much for everything again 😊

Restful Relaxing Retreat With Outstanding Views

A View of Mt Warning B&B in Dum Dum is a terrific place to stay host Peggy very warm and friendly who gave us canapes and drinks on arrival. Our room was spacious tastefully decorated room with a comfy bed with patio outside with table and chairs with views of Mt Warning. Peggy served us a fully cooked breakfast each morning on our patio a wide selection is available to choose from. Nearby town of Uki short drive away will general store well stocked for supplies and next door is takeaway store that makes great pizza, We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay and recommend staying if travelling nearby it`s a short drive to Mt Warning reserve and walking trail.

Great location near Mount Warning

We enjoyed a night at this Bed and Breakfast before walking Mount Warning the next morning. Peggy was extremely welcoming with drinks on arrival and she made us a great breakfast the next morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

A lovely B&B in a most beautiful setting.

This property is a gem we found in the beautiful Tweed Valley and overlooks Mt Warning. We were made to feel very welcome by hostess Peggy and her attention to detail was impressive. Bedrooms are cosy and well appointed and the outlook from the B&B is superb. Highly recommended.

Excellent B&B close to Mt Warning

This is our second stay here and our first with Peggy as the owner. We had a wonderful time, the venue is close to lots of natural bushwalks and places of interest. For the foodies, Mavis Kitchen is very close by and a wonderful restaurant. The breakfasts at the B&B are delicious and enough to keep you going for almost the whole day. Peggy is attentive without being intrusive. A lovely person to meet. We highly recommend staying at A View of Mount Warning (which lives up to its name with spectacular views!)

A great place to start your Mt Warning Adventure

In preparing for a challenging hike up Mt Warning we felt we needed to be spoilt in preparation so "A view of Mt Warning B&B" was perfect...from the unexpected canapes on arrival , the awesome hospitality of our hostess and stunning views ...and lets not forget the scrumptious breakfast. We wished we could stay longer.

We had such a great weekend at this B&B. The room was great, the bed so warm and comfortable, the views from the balcony were awesome. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. The spa was an added bonus and also has great views of Mt. Warning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The Host Peggy, was wonderful, made us very welcome and the welcome pack was a real treat, cheeses and wine and bits, very nice classy touch, Room 4 was had a perfect view from the veranda outstanding, (Go for room 4 or 3) Breakfast tremendous with a good choice of variety, would recommend it to anyone, YOU WILL NOT be disappointed.. Serene Experience

Idyllic setting, private and peaceful. Charming and warm Hostess. The Breakfast included was full of Variety and Nutritious options, nothing was too much trouble. First visit to Uki, NSW area. B&B is in a quiet rural location with THAT VIEW of Mt Warning. Hostess is lovely, very welcoming and provided great breakfasts , with choices based on a variety of fresh in-season food, so elegantly served. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all needs met.

Close to nature

This was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The rooms have been designed by an engineer (Bruce himself!) to obtain the most fantastic views. We looked straight out at the mountains and the top floor spa looked right at mount warning. A great deal of hard work and care has gone into this bed and breakfast and Bruce and Rosemary are so good at what they do. An absolute pleasure to be around. You can be completely left to your own devices or if you wish to engage in some conversation and get the inside scoop on the best local spots, they are there for that too. The breakfast was so good and we ate so much (thank you for your awesome cooking skills). Mount Warning is 5 minutes away so it is easy to walk off any indulgence. I also recommend dining nearby at Mavis kitchen. Seriously I thought we would run out of places to go and things to do over the 4 days, but we did not. If you have run out of things I suggest a chat to Bruce and Rosemary who will tell you some good spots to go. Highly recommend. Sorry our review is late. Homely stay, lovely breakfast, great location

great for couples weekend getaway. We took our time there having lunch at Kingscliff, visited Tropical Fruit World, arrived for a lovely late afternoon drink and nibbles, then went to dinner at a nearby restaurant. Beautiful views. Perfect for early walk up Mt Warning the next morning.
