Staff, location & breakfast were 5*. Bedroom small with no cupboard or drawer space but if you’re aware of this beforehand then you can make it work. We were there 4 nights and got by fine. Can I just mention the breakfast again 😁. TREMENDOUS!

2 day stay before cruise

The hotel was excellent, staff are amazing and very helpful. The location is amazing, so close to so much. The rooms are small but work well, eberything was comfortable, water pressure was amazing.

Fantastic Hotel with Incredible Breakfast

Absolutely loved our 4 night stay. I booked the hotel purely on location and the fantastic breakfast reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Location was fab, right near the metro which is direct to the airport. Great bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Friendly staff, quirky fun interior, comfy beds and out of this world breakfasts!!!

We had a very nice stay at 14 Reasons Why. The location is convenient for the sights and restaurants in Athens, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast each morning was wonderful!

4 day trip

Had a lovely stay for our 4 day trip breakfast was always delicious and lovely balcony My only criticism is say’s tea and coffee facilities in room we had to ask for a kettle as nothing in our room was no problem got one right away but this was one of the reasons I booked this hotel as I’m a coffee aholich All staff were friendly and polite. Would go back and would definitely recommend.

This charming little hotel is tucked away on a small street that transforms into a lively area in the evening with music and vibrant activity. Once you’re in your room, however, it remains wonderfully quiet. The receptionists are extremely helpful and polite. Conveniently located just across from a sandwich shop offering delicious options, including vegan and vegetarian choices, the hotel is only a few minutes' walk from Athens' Agora, a central hub for many tours. All in all, it’s a hidden gem in the heart of Athens.

The perfect Athens hotel

Perfect central location, quiet room, great staff, extremely powerful shower, and the best hotel breakfast I can remember having! I would definitely stay here again if I was in Athens.

Great breakfast included in rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Monasteraki Square and Metro stop Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping The room itself, while clean and comfortable, was designed poorly. The design seemed to emphasize form over function - for example, there was absolutely no shelf storage, so where do you put your folded clothing? There was a large vase with metal leaves in the room, right at eye level. We moved it outside the room so we wouldn't poke our eyes out in the middle of the night.

Wonderful Hotel

I honestly cannot rave enough about this hotel. Location - they are located so close to shopping areas and restaurants, so many restaurants, that we felt that we could step out the door and just be where we needed to be in moments. It is walking distance to any of the sights and sites you could want to see, too. Food - my Lord. The facts that they offer a free breakfast and that you can choose three plates per room AND that all of the food is just delicious, there's no real reason to leave to eat breakfast anywhere else. It's just phenomenal and surprising. Rooms - for what you pay, the rooms are just fine and the beds are comfortable. Spacious enough with nice sized bathrooms (and water pressure that will knock you into the next room). Staff - all were super nice and friendly. And their communication with me prior to our arrival was excellent. I chatted with them via another site and they responded immediately and were able to help me get set up for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port a few days later. I've rarely had such attentive and gracious service from hotel staff. If/when we return to Athens, we will most definitely stay at 14 Reasons again.

Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The orange juice is also mindblowingly good.

Rooms are bare bones but comfy. If you are familiar with the Moxy brand, this hotel runs along the same style but SMALLER. If room size isnt an issue, you will be happy with this hotel. Location is great... everything is within walking distance.

Overpriced and small

The room was tiny. The bathroom even smaller. Ok for the one night we were there but would advise against it for anything longer particularly given the price. Also we were promised a take away breakfast box by 7.30am as we had to leave early to get a ferry but this was not prepared in time. Disappointing given price paid for the hotel.

14 Reasons to Stay Here

Conveniently located near the train station and just a few blocks from a Ancient Agora. It is surrounded by wonderful bars and restaurants. The staff is warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. The room is comfortable and the breakfasts are amazing.

I absolutely loved my stay. The hotel is so central that the places I wanted to see were within 20 mins walk. 5 mins walk from Monastiraki train stop which takes you to/from airport for 9 euro each way. The hotel is located in the Psiri area, with a lot of reasonably priced restos and bars. The area does get really busy well into 2am. I also really appreciated that the hotel checked me in early coming from very long day of traveling. Con: I think that the hotel does a good job in terms of keeping outside noise down. For me who likes some faint background noise, I was able to sleep well. But for some who requires complete silence, this may pose a problem.

Good Stay

The hotel is centrally located near the metro station. There are lots of shopping and eating places nearby. The Acropolis is a walkable distance away. The hotel is a boutique style hotel. My room and bathroom were small but clean. Breakfast was included and you could choose what you wanted from a set menu. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent staff, rooms, and location!!

This cool artsy boutique hotel is in such a convenient location to Monastiraki square, the Acropolis and many many cafes, bars, and boutiques. The rooms are small but comfortable and pretty. The bathroom was also small but very updates and also spotless clean. I stayed on the second floor and was very surprised how quiet it was considering how insanely busy the area was. Great friendly staff at the desk, breakfast served every morning by a friendly young man that happily explained the included breakfast choices , all which were really quite excellent. It was a very nice stay in the perfect location for me, And I will certainly stay there again on my return to Athens

Location ,Location,Location,This hotel is in a very well lit safe location . At first I was going to stay somewhere else near the farmers market ,well I checked it out during my stay while the other hotel was good the farmers market at night was dark and abandoned . 14 Reasons Why was in a lively location, the hotel is small enough that they quickly learned your name. I traveled with an extensive amount of luggage ( had just been on a cruise) and they were great about putting it in the room as well as getting me a beautiful van to take me and all my stuff to the airport. They made us us a great breakfast which was included. All I can say is I wished that I planned on staying longer. And I will definitely stay there again !!!

One of the best hotel in all of Greece... Perhaps Europe! Location is unbeatable, it is literally the center of Athens. Quiet location yet 30 second walk from the hottest area of Athens (Psyri). Staff is amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast team. Rooms are small (quite normal for European standard) but cozy and efficient. Beds are extremely comfortable. Would stay there again anytime. Highly recommended to all fellow travelers, this place is AMAZING. Book with high confidence and thank me later!

It is a boutique hotel. Tastefully designed. Location can't be beat. 2-3 minutes walk to Monastiraki Square and the metro station. This is a very lively area with a lot of buzz. The Acropolis is around a 20 minute walk from here. Lots of eating options close by. Loved the breakfast at the hotel.

Our three night stay was deal for exploring Athens, 14 reasons is located within walking distance of all the mains areas/sights. The hotel rooms were ideal, the breakfast, fresh juices, fresh coffee compolete was guormet standard menus of choises was very ttasyt abd a good way to start the day. Rooms front of hotel can be noisy if you are a light sleeper the hotel is aware scheduled soundproofing due shortly. But after a full day sghtseeing and after sampling the excellent bars and resturants surronding the hotel we slept well on the very comfortable beds.

Great looking but minor issues

Cool looking hotel. Great staff. Amazing breakfast!!!!! Only let down, room was noisy due to outside partying till 4am and the shower strangely wasn’t attached to the wall so had to hold it up to shower. Other than those points was fine

This hotel is very unique with an elegant and rustic interior design.Also the location is perfect with walking distance to all the sights and there is a lot of cozy restaurants in the area.

What a great find! Very helpful and friendly, great service, checked in very early and no problem. Breakfast is unbelievably good. Cooked to order but of the highest quality. I would stay here again and again. Only question was why no espresso machine in room as stated? But it’s such a minor thing.

This new boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Plus the breakfast is YUMMY! Not your typical continental breakfast, you have many options to chose from. Staff is also very helpful!

What a gem in down town of Athens! A new boutique hotel with exceptional service and amenities! EVERYTHING was great: the room, the personnel, very personal attitude of the owner to the guests! Would strongly recommend to all types of travelers!

Nice new hotel!

The hotel is brand new and up to date. If you’re solo traveling with a lot of luggage - you maybe be short on space. My only issue was that there was a bedside lamp but there was no nearby plug so the plug was unplugged just sitting on the floor under the table. Also, the breakfast was not very nice - the menu looks lush but I think perhaps if they just simplified it could be better. And lastly, what I say about most hotels is - please, instead of small single use plastics have pumps of shampoo and soap and lotion and conditioner! (I bring those things but I’m general it is just way more eco!)

Will stay again, just not in the front rooms...

Super central location with great access to pretty much everywhere. Very accessible from the airport as it's right by a metro station (€20 full price, or €10 with student discount). We were upgraded on arrival, though I suspect it's likely because our upgraded room was at the front of the hotel, and the sound insulation is pretty poor, and it's a very busy/noisy area - not great for light sleepers. Otherwise, the hotel was awesome and very comfortable, and the staff were super super friendly. The breakfast is amazing, though we were pushed to order the night before to ensure quick service in the morning (breakfasts are made to order, not buffet) but each morning were left waiting for around an hour - I'd say this is likely a teething issue though, as the hotel had only been open for about a week when we stayed.

The hotel is very modern and the facilities are top of the line. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that the clubs were open to 3/4am and it was very noisy especially with the street music playing

Schönes kleines Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück und super Kaffee. Das Standardzimmer war etwas klein, aber alles wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist super. Alles zu Fuss erreichbar und auch die Metro ist direkt um die Ecke.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour la découverte des sites historiques. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse rarement rencontrée et le petit déjeuner est somptueux. J’y retournerai certainement.

Tout y est... accueil, qualité, propreté

14 raisons why est un super bon plan. Rapport qualite prix. Situé au croisement des quartiers de Psiri et Monastiraki. Restaurants bars, Tavernes, une ambiance geniale et malgré tout l'hôtel est super calme. Personnel très agréable, petit dejeuner incroyable, literie top. Je recommande sans hésiter. Si on revient a Athenes sûr on y retournera.

Trois jours et deux nuits sur Athènes. Découverte de la ville magnifique et hôtel au top.
