The value for the stay was good. The pool was closed which was disappointing. I left 2 shirts and the cleaning staff ran after me to give to me which was so kind.

Shocking in every aspect. The walls full of mould. The furniture is so old and in a very bad condition as if they were picked up from a tip. No cups, no kettle and no power socket. Wifi didn't work. The place was dirty except for the bed sheets and towels. Disgusting and very poor customer service.

Fabulous and Fun stay at Zoukotel

I came to Lebanon with 2 girlfriends for a friend's wedding. We stayed at Zoukotel and had a very enjoyable stay. Check in was 24 hours, which was very convenient as we arrived around 1am. We were in a room with a balcony, double bed and single bed which suited our needs. The view from outside was nice as we could see Mount Lebanon and also the coastal skyline. The AC in the rooms worked well. The room was clean but slightly outdated. This didn't bother us as we prefer the rustic vibe and really, you get what you pay for. If you want a super modern hotel then maybe Zoukotel isn't for you! The breakfast was simple but effective - a choice of juices, vegetables, fouls medammes, many types of bread, zaatar, labnah and jams. My only recommendation here would be that they serve fresh coffee, rather than Nescafe. Even though the hotel has 24 hour room service, we opted to order a takeaway from elsewhere. The staff were very helpful with this the both times we did order out. They gave us a vast folder full of options, called the restaurant for us, brought the food and change etc. All the staff were very helpful too from checking in to ordering taxis. We really had no idea where we wanted to go sometimes and their recommendation to go to The Old Souq in Byblos was an excellent idea that led to us all having a fantastic last day/eveing in Lebanon! The hotel has a pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to utilize BUT it looked great and was popular with locals and families.

I stayed at Zoukotel Hotel for two weeks & my visit was ruined by Mrs. Janine the assistant manager. She was very rude, obnoxious and arrogant. She talks down to people as if they are staying for free. She ignored our questions related to the room, the internet among other things on many occasions. She cuts you down while talking in a rude way and leave without even addressing your concerns. I travel a lot and never witnessed such poor customer service. I have read other travelers similar review and experience with her on Expedia My friends & I visit Lebanon every year. Worst experience of my life with a hotel staff. Other staff are friendly but unfortunately her obnoxiousness has ruined everything.

Excellent pool, clean, not crowded. Clean and spacious room, hot water in shower, big balcony. Naja is an awsome receptionnist. Room service lady is helpful and smiley. Excellent location in zouk. Nearby delivery restaurants.

Hotel is nothing as advertised

This hotel was very close to the highway. It has adequate free parking and does have internet when it works. They change the password daily so it sucks having to call and asking for new code daily and hoping the internet actually worked. The room had a fridge and had water and sodas stocked only on the first day. When they say that they provide free amenities, well, that was not 100% true. The bathroom was falling apart. Walls were patched up. The ac leaked, and there were bugs in the bed. The blankets did not look clean and I asked for new blankets on day one. The shower has very very low pressure and honestly it sucked but at least there was hot water. The hotel offered free breakfast but the hours were not good for me so I did not get a chance to try it. The elevators are very small and do not expect to be able to roll a stroller inside it. Tv channels were decent but when I checked in, I had to rescan the tv for channels. The balcony doors and windows did not have locks on them. The room stated that it came with 1 bed and one twin bed but the twin bed was a chair that opened up which was a foot off the floor. The walls in the room were all patched up and I guess painting it was a hard thing for the hotel to do and many tiles were missing or miscolored. Honestly, it was more like a motel and not a hotel. I will not revisit the location as the only good things about the location were the internet that sometimes worked and was free, and it had a tv.

they worst hotel ive seen... The roof il full of insects the rooms were very dirty and there is no water in the room.. We kept asking the reception for water, we need to shower we need to wash our hands they kept telling us ok ok and we didnt get water .. Also there swimming pool was empty in the wnd of may.. It was not clear to me in the description that the hotel was out in the suburbs. It is a fine place, nice breakfast, lovely helpful staff.

Disappointing Experience

This hotel is VERY worn out. Just about everything is in need of updating or repairs. The room was average, and again in need of updating. The bed was comfortable but squeaked. The walls were thin so you can hear everything going on in the next room. There were cracks (holes) around the bathtub edges, the curtains were torn and stained, and the faucet in the bathroom sink was loose. The balcony was nice with a view of the sea, but no chairs to sit on. None of the room amenities that are normally provided at most hotels existed, such as a coffee maker, iron, sufficient closet hangers, etc. The breakfast was limited to a just a few Lebanese food items with no variety or change during the six days we were there. All of the staff was friendly and helpful except one front desk girl (with glasses). She was brutally rude and determined to dominate with her voice over whatever question I had with the internet system. She simply would not allow me to explain any concerns. The Internet is not free and time had to be purchased ($10 for 5 hours). Additionally, it was very slow at times and often had glitches in the system, not allowing you to log in. The location of the hotel was quite a distance from the center of Kaslik, but walkable. This hotel is rated a deceiving 4-stars but realistically, it should be rated at best no more than one 1-star backpacker budget hotel.

My son an I stayed at zoukhotel for 10 days the, location was outstanding with stunning views of he beach and he mountains. Being away for long time the hotel staff was more than happy to spend time with you to guide you, from getting best way to get around to where to eat. The staff will make you feel great and welcomed. The room was comfortable and well kept. The breakfast, which was included, was fresh and restaurant staff were ready to help. Special thanks goes to Jenien who wel out of her way to help set us up with local cell phone and set up our Internet with great pleasure and smile on her face. Thanks for your hospitality and making us feel at home.

Terrible Experience

When we got there everything was wrong, it's not just about the fake rating & photos they put but even the poor service ... They were so rude to us.. When I was complaining the manager answer me " it's only one night, you're not gonna buy it" he means the hotel!!! I left the hotel after $40 minutes and they didn't offer me nothing even a refund...

Disappointing

Upon booking, it was saying thst wirekess internet 24Hrs included in the room rate, actually it wasnt there, you have to pay 3 $ per hour to get interent!!! TV : you dont know if you can watch somehting or not. becasue it stops any time, and no maintinence service can help you.

Заселялись ночью, в 3ч. Всё оперативно и доброжелательно. Есть парковка бесплатная, Wi-Fi, большой балкон в номере. Завтрак нормальный. Из номера даже видно море ))) Есть бассейн, но в начале мая он не работал. В целом всё понравилось!

Hur detta hotell är fyrstjärnigt är för mig en gåta! Standard från 70-talet, inget uttag för laptop vid skrivbordet, värmepump som inte går igång igen efter strömavbrott, litet badrum med gammal standard, hårda och små dubbelsängar. Undvik detta hotell även om läget kanske kan vara bra!

Ich habe 15 Tage mit meiner Familie hier verbracht……Alles war toll (das Frühstück ,die Lage des Hotels und die Aussicht,das Personal,Das Zimmer,Der Preis ist ideal im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels.....),aber das Schwimmbad war geschlossen weil wir außerhalb des “Seasons” waren,aber das hat unseren Urlaub nicht getrübt

Sauberkeit NULL minus. Internet/W-lan NULL. Essen/ Frühstück NULL.Das Hotel und die Zimmern wurden letzten mal bestimmt in der 70 er Saniert, danach nicht mehr.( von Wegen 4 Sterne????? halber Stern ist viel zu viel für so ein Hotel der SEHR stark Sanierung und Erneuerung bedürftig ist.( Bilder auf wünsch Sende ich sehr gerne) SICHERHEIT >>N U L L , N U L L , N U L L. ich habe eine Zimmer in der vierte Etage bekommen nach dem ich zwei andere Zimmern abgelehnt habe. Die Zimmer was ich bekommen habe war SEHR SCHLIMM aber gab es viel Schlimmern Zimmern. in der nach von 18.08.2015 gegen ca. 03:30 Uhr bis 05:30 Uhr Kelterte ein Bewohner der neben meine Zimmer, eine Zimmer gemietet hatte von seine Balkon auf meine Balkon und beklaute uns, viel Bargeld , Kreditkarten, Passport, Personalausweis, Handy, Kamera und viele andere Sachen. ( alles wurde mit Überwachungskamera Aufgenommen). Das Hotel unternahm nichts und dazu übernahm keine Verantwortung. Das Hotel ist für meine Sicherheit während ich in meine Zimmer befinde, Verantwortlich, aber das Hotel wollte von jede Verantwortung nichts wissen. Gefälschte Gast Dokumente und der Hotel hat nicht mal beim Check In intarsiert. Wie bekommt so eine Ruine 4 Sterne und wer hat von Ihre Unternehmen diese 4 Sterne oder das Hotel geprüft??? das muss noch gesetzlich geprüft
