The Olace to Stay in Hudson
The hotel is lovely, well situated and has an excellent restaurant. We had a problem with our room and they immediately and graciously upgraded us to a splendid suite. Their customer service is superb.
My husband and I enjoyed our second stay at Wm Farmer and Sons. We had last stayed in The Faulkner in 2017 and this time chose The Pint. Everything we could have wanted for a long weekend was available. The kitchen was a dream (with the exception of not having back up paper towels). Very well appointed with utensils, pots/pans, glasses, mugs, etc. Though if you are staying with more than 3 people, you may need to ask for some extras. The main bedroom was super cozy with awesome sheets, pillows and blankets. We had full control of the thermostat, so we didn't have to be too hot/cold at any point. There are 2 tvs; one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Aside from the fact that they seemed to have separate cable serves (so you couldn't start watching something in one room and finish in the other), they were fantastic. As was the superb couch! The second bed is in the living room. We didn't need to use it and if we did, it may have been awkward as it was not blocked off in anyway from the living space. But it was super comfy as well. The only complicated aspect was the hotel left the Venmo details for the cleaning person. I Venmo'd them tips each day of our stay. On the last day a different cleaning person left an envelope for a tip. I suggest you just leave cash tips.
Great staff, clean accomodations.
Great hotel clean and everything was great.
A very quaint inn in the historic district of town. The room we had was bright, airy, and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately the construction on the sidewalk was noisy in the mornings but somewhat manageable.
Beautiful and unique property in a very convenient location at a decent price. Only complaint is that the bed in our suite was not the most comfortable.
Beautiful!
A stylish, well-located hotel that made for a perfect launchpad for exploring Hudson. The staff couldn't have been nicer, either.
Such a charming and interesting old building. Well designed, comfy bed, comfy couch, great neighborhood ... 10/10 would come back!!
A Hudson Surprise
What an interesting spot, short walk to the visitor center in the Chamber of Commerce and very convenient to all of shops and restaurants on Warren St. Hudson itself is a city in transition and headed in the right direction, but be aware that it is a place of great architectural beauty and scores of rundown properties. We were fascinated. Note that parking is on the street and that hauling our luggage up and down two narrow flights of stairs was challenging. Thankfully we had help from the friendly folks who greeted us.
I absolutely loved the stay here and the staff is exceptional. The room was wonderful BUT the people upstairs just did not stop moving the entire time which made my stay a little more than uncomfortable. PLUS there was all day construction happening on the street and nearby bridge. So the drop in the rating is from my luck of the draw. Would still return in a heartbeat especially if I'm attending a show at the Basilica.
Sarah checked us in when my wife and I arrived. She was great! Helped us get settled in our room and gave us tips about the area, etc. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely being coming back!
Beautiful, clean room, with nice antique-like furniture. very comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Restaurant is incredible.
Nice suite.iWonderful staff. Awful stairways. In desperate need of an elevator.
My wife and I appreciated the unique conversion of an historic building into a charming hotel. The interior design made the most of the available space and illustrated that care and thought had gone into its implementation. The bathroom was okay though quite tight for maneuverability. Perhaps eliminating a bathtub and utilizing a shower stall might have allowed for more room. However the staff, was more than pleasant and our stay was most satisfactory.

Lovely boarding house style accomodations. Tasteful, pleasant and comfortable. Communications prior to and during stay were very well done. Staff were accommodating and very customer focused. Definitely worth a visit.
