It’s definitely a hotel for the under 40 crowd. I should have researched a bit more before choosing this hotel. Great location next to the Elements Mall, but a taxi or train ride to everything else. Definitely not walkable. Our room had a large carpet stain that despite a heroic effort to remove, a faint outline still remained, making one wonder what exactly happened there…. The sheers on this lovely corner unit did not open fully, which was a bit of a disappointment but not a reason to complain. Overall, a very nice hotel with incredibly lovely staff and a very comfortable bed, but we will probably try somewhere else on our next trip to HK.

Excellent to get to airport by MTR. Very nice and clean. The shower was excellent.

It was a very comfortable stay with plenty of shopping within walking distance. Transportation is a bit inconvenient but manageable if you plan ahead. Rooms were very well kept and has amazing views depending on your room choice.

Excellent hotel

Very walkable and easy access to MTR subway, Airport Express train and high speed train station. Staff were very helpful and recommended the Hongkong wine & dining event across the harbor, which turned out to be a fantastic experience.

Really disappointed after traveling through China and staying at a number of amazing hotels, this was, by far, the most expensive and yet, by far the least up to standard. Small room, tired and worn, no slippers, sugar, milk and other basic 5 star amenities. A knock at my door at 9pm asking me about towels? I won't be staying at a W again.

My third time staying at the W Hotel. The location is very convenient. We took the high speed train from the airport, and the train to China. Many shops and restaurants under the hotel.

Excellent service! Convenient if you need to be at awe.

I really appreciate the warm welcome and help from the W Experirnce Shift Leader, Rene Tang. She understands that i just arrived from a long haul flight and wanted a place to get rest right away. She tried her best to get me a room way before the standard check-in time. And, I also want to commend Rene for her professionalism and hospitality to the care of customers. All in all, I give W Hotel Hong Kong and its staff an A !

I have been stay at the same hotel in the last 3 months. The pillows that they provide do not have the fresh and comfortable level I was expected. Since I was stay in the same rooms in different times. I don't see much of the improvement. Last time I stayed the water for the shower was not at the temperature did not get warm to my comfortable level. One time the the pillow itself smell pretty bad.

Location

Extremely comfortable place to stay particularly as i was arriving from China by the High Speed Rail and was proceeding to HK Airport the next morning. This is a place I'm sure I'll stay at again as an alternative to the Island where i've generally stayed. The 76th swimming pool was absolutely superb clean, quiet so really good for lengths ; and what a view !

It is right at the heart of Elements, shopping mall and MTR you are minutes away to ANYWHERE in Hong Kong, either by subway, taxi

Great stay in Hong Kong!

All was great, Only negative complain is the food in the hotel. Not up to par with the W brand. Besides that perfect.

Cleanliness to be improved

It was a family trip with two young kids, the room was not very clean as there are noticeable dust on the tables and the carpet looks dirty too. Our daughter got skin allergy after our stay and I got some insect bite-mark on my hands and legs too. The service was ok, the staff that we came across did not seem to be very experienced.

Staycation - Amazing stay

We had a very positive experience at W Hotel. Despite being at full capacity, the hotel staff made an amazing job in serving all guests' needs with a smile. Great service, amazing food, spacious rooms, like new facilities. Very well done to Chef Rafael Gil and his team. Bringing quality food well presented at all times, across all restaurants and bars in the Hotel! Chef Rafael is a renowned chef (recently participated in the Netflix series "The Final Table"), however very humble, personable and friendly to all guests. He is always walking around the hotel’s restaurants and bars, greeting guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their meals, accommodating for any special requests, and always smiling! Thanks W Hotel for a great stay!

Many people. Need to queue for quite a while for check in. The staff forgot to pass me the kid stuffs and I have to chase for it. Swimming pool not too big but with warm water. Heard that swimming pool was fully booked by the time of check in and some people can't manage to book. Poor guys. Breakfast buffet many varieties. The second session was fully booked. We need to take breakfast 7:30 - 9:00 am.

Very disappointed on no REAL green actions taken

It claims to trying to be a green hotel but still a lot of amenities offered to customers and still changing towels everyday and no water dispenser machine is offered. We, a family of 3 drank 6 bottles of water everyday but we could have REDUCE the bottles by refilling water with a water dispenser.

A wanna be 5 star hotel

Great thing of this birthday petcation and Anniversary during pandemics, the hotel does their best to stand out in every way, but still lacking smoothness in communication and day to day operations.

Awesome hotel.

It is quite dirty in fact inside the room and on the bed. However, in terms of services, staff are excellent!!

Decent but too pricy for the value

Customer service was very good. Thanks a lot for arrangements. Rooms are good and new. Swimming pool is decent. Spoons, forks at breakfast were dirty 3 times out of 3 days. Told the front desk to pay attention to it. Not acceptable for supposedly 5 start hotel.

Bathroom is a bit worn, the TV is under maintenance, the sliding door closing the toilet bowl and shower stand makes shrilly sound when move. It's a bit tough to wear a mask when using the gym facilities. Happy with the little decoration on the bed and the little pastries prepared for us.

Hip, kind staff and delicious food! Very relaxing sitting on the tub watching the bathtub tv. Highly recommend as a staycation spot!

Much-needed relaxing staycation

We had an excellent stay at W Hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable (with a great view of a raging thunderstorm though I am not sure they can guarantee that every time). Breakfast had many options and staff have put a lot of thought into managing social distancing situations while minimising compromise on experience. Sadly, our timing was off and the pool had not yet reopened though we did get to have a very relaxing massage in the spa. Great staycation, would thoroughly recommend.

Unexpected mess

I expected the stay to be great but then didn't turned out that well as starting deposit was already more than a 5 star hotel like Riz Calton which costs $2500 but you guys took $5000 which wasn't acceptable. Moreover, as for the birthday complimentary drinks we got for free were not even good enough in the taste so overall the stay was not up to the point and could be way better than what i expected.

Cool hotel + Wonderful staffs

Excellent staff, able to address the newspaper preference, just name it; The room is nice, and the bathroom is great too! Just a disappointment on the TV quality (like 20 yrs ago) and no mirroring to Netflix or the mobile available; The hotel breakfast at the Kitchen is great, wonderful staffs and chefs there.

it's an indeed high quality luxury hotel, everything is new and properly maintained, service quite upbeat,. basically nothing to complain

Our stay was amazing! The staff went out of their way to give my wife a special treat for her birthday. They surprised her with a special arrangement which was set up in our room as we returned on the night of her birthday.

We had our crew xmas brunch at the kitchen restaurant at the W. I had booked a room for the night so we wouldn't have to bother with traveling in the evening. I’ve stayed at the W several times in the past so i knew it would be good, but it exceeded expectations. The W staff are fantastic, so helpful, friendly and proactive, all my crew were impressed and loved the buffet. I cant wait for our next stay at the W! Thank you all for a wonderful xmas 2019.

A wonderful stay...

It was great experienced at WHOngKong Hotel my family and friends had so much fun.Just one comments on the Air-condition was not that cold the temperature was 19degree and it was not really nice when We opened the window the it makes us sweat. I hope they can improve that.But other services was good. Thanks for letting us extend a bit longer in the room while we are waiting for our reservation at Woobar for Tea Time. Woobar we had a great time they were very accommodating the staff were friendly thanks to Mimi and Marsha for making our Tea Time so relaxing.... Over all it was memorable one for us...

Wonderful experience

This trip was for our Anniversary and the hotel made awesome arrangement for us. Even through emails they are always prompt to reply and always making sure they are always there to help. Check in staffs were awesome too. Very very pleasant stay. Most definitely will come back again.

Everything is perfect. We love the hotel and will definitely come back! The only one thing we don’t like is bar. We expect W Hotel bar will be more fun. This is a bit like sitting in lobby.

Great location and rooms. Staff training could be improved. They made great efforts to please but the repetition and seeking colleagues to explain hotel practices and process suggests more staff training is neeeed.

Requested early check in is not available and they said that they will text me when the room is ready but they didn't. The 1st day the safe deposit box was broken and I can't believe it this's a five star hotel. I think it's not worth for the money that I paid.

Quick check-in. Staff is active. Room is clean with a good view. The bed and pillow are so comfy.

Amazing rooms , staff couldn’t do enough for you and relaxing time in the infinite pool located on the 76th floor.

Location is fabulous. Easy access to MRT. Kowloon station is right below hotel. Elements shopping centre is next door to the W with an array of shops and boutiques. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you can imagine. Great hotel with lots of vibe.

Great hotel

Only stayed there one night and needed to be near West Kowloon Station (for train to China). Staff very friendly, great room with lots of amenities. They take care of the details. Fabulous location for Kowloon.

Excellent Hotel with Convenient Transportation

The hotel is excellent. My only complaint (and why I gave it less than the top rating) is that the lighting in the room is so poor. The staff was very helpful, with an intern from Italy providing especially good service. There's not much right around the hotel (unless you like upscale shopping malls), but the transportation makes it a good location for getting to and from the airport and around Hong Kong.
