Good location, around 10-15 mins to the popular places. A restaurant next to the hotel. A kitchen with full facility you can use. Limited space in the room and sound proof not very good that you can feel and hear as the neighbor hit on the wall which like made of wood

I was excited about staying at a hostal for the first time. We were a large group and requested private bathrooms with our accommodations. The shower had mold (I have asthma-not a good combination). The mattress protectors were charcoal grey (I like white, so I can see any dirt) and one has to make your own bed. Lots of rules in place, which I was fine with. The only rule I was not comfortable with was the one that stated they can go in your room any time. I had nice jewelry in my belongings, so I’m not comfortable with people walking in my room when I’m not there. Overall, it was not terrible, just dirty. I would not stay there again.

Nice stay and suitable for families

Family of 4 staying for 1 night. Obviously this hostel is more targeted at younger travellers who are used to basic hostel facilities but nevertheless the stay was pleasant and offered almost everything we needed as a family with young kids. Most importantly it was spotlessly clean, in a good location, and a good price compared to many other places in Barcelona. Breakfast offer was cheap and decent to start the day. The roof terrace was fantastic with brilliant views of the surrounding area. Minor grumbles would be the need to buy towels and the push button on the sink tap with no temperature control but I appreciate this is pretty standard in many hostels and I can understand the logic so it wasn’t a massive issue. The free lockers after we checked out were really helpful as we had later flights so had some time to kill during the day we were leaving. All in all I would say it was a great stay and suitable for families of all ages as long as you manage your expectations.

Good but need improvements

The hostel is nice. Friendly staff. The rooms are really small for a group of 4 with 4 bags. Seriously. Not comfortable. Location is good, but you have to walk a lot to get to the good neighborhoods in Barcelona.

Mediocre at best

It does the job as far as a hostel goes, but isn't a pleasant overall experience. Room when we got there wasn't clean and there was sand encrusted all over the floor. Air conditioning for our room didn't work at all the whole weekend even though it is advertised online and in a placard in the room. The real issue was the two guys at the front desk were so unbelievably rude to some of us, one of them making fun of us when we had an issue and just being overall unhelpful. If you can find another place to stay, do it. This place isn't great.

Great if you are out all day, shower last 17 seconds and you need to be pushing again for another 17 seconds and so on. Lights are turned off at 12:00 am

Ok for a hostel not a hotel.

This is a hostel not a hotel. Set your expectations accordingly. Towel “rental” costs $4 a piece extra. Sheets are provided but you make your own bed with the provided sheets. No soap, no shampoo. Shower is a gym style shower that turns off every 17 seconds so you have to constantly press the shower button every few seconds to keep it from turning off. Didn’t apply to us because we rented an entire room but they did have individual lockers that opened with your room key if you were renting just a single bed in a multibed room. Also, had a nice common area on the roof. Would recommend as a hostel but probably not as a hotel. We were traveling with 4 people though and there are not that many 4 person hotel rooms available in the area.

I wouldn't not recommend to anyone. This was the worst night I have in a hotel for me and my family. Let's begin. First you get to the hotel room go to the restroom and the trash can completed full of garbage and not clean. Listen to this. You have to make your own bed because is just a mattress and just be informed you want to take a shower you have to rent the towel. Yes rent a towel? Are you serious . Yes that's the way this hotel work. No Soap no towel "YOU HAVE TO BUY EVERYTHING. It wasn't cheap . It cost me more than 400 Euro for two closet sized rooms. One night and really far away from airport.Let's Continue. They claim eco-friendly because they said they put new UV filter. None of the rooms you can't feel the AC. No microwave or TV in the rooms. All the noise from the outside you can hear it. They claim have free internet but i wasn't able to connect to the internet.Rooms extremely narrow no place to put your stuff. If you want to ruin your vacation go this place and you will see what I said here.

Hostel conditions; hotel prices. Not best location

Very nice front desk staff. Helpful. Always available. 24/7. Many places on hotels.com as hotel options had limited check-in hours and didn’t have 24-7 staff. We needed flexibility. The area has lots of sites under construction and there was a lot of dust blowing sometimes which actually caused an eye issue for one of us. You can walk from here during the day but the streets are very empty and many buildings seem always shuttered or are shuttered with graffitied shutters down weekends or after hours. It’s not a vibrant restaurant social area so be careful and walk with someone. We felt better taking taxis after dusk. on weekends and after business hours as b Very expensive. €200+ for a 4 bunk family room per night (it was busy tourist season so it’s cheaper other times). They try to get extra money off you at any excuse. €4 per little towel; €6 per bag to hold a bag overnight; €1.30 in vending machine for water that’s €1 in machines elsewhere. No shampoo. Broken furniture. No coffee tea for sale or available except they can sell it to you during breakfast hours for €1.70. Big fridge in shared kitchen was not keeping food cold. Fridge wasn’t available for 12+ hours another day. The reason we had booked this place was for kitchen access as a family member has allergies and needed fridge access for special food.

Really friendly staff, they checked us in early and we extremely polite and nice the whole 3 night stay. The roof terrace and amenities were great. The black out curtains were phenomenal! The air conditioning was great. There was a bit of construction noise in the mornings and the beds weren’t amazingly comfortable. Would recommend if you’re not going to stay in old town.

The hostel is well maintained and clean. It has full kitchen equipment if you feel like cooking something. A nice balcony with a view of some of the most intriguing buildings in the city. Friendly staff and overall a good value for the price.

Hotel in Twentytu in Barcelona

Hotel doesn't offer towels or soap you have to pay extra for it, lots of mosquitos in the lobby, lights wouldn't turn on after hours in my room, shower faucet had to be turn ON every 5 seconds, the Hotel itself is located in the hood, hotel has no standard rules, there was a man without shoes and shirt in the lobby as if he was at the beach, we asked a staff person for a restaurant near by and she said there was non but later we find out there was one in the same street next block. There were homeless leaving right next to the hotel, my family felt threaten by this. I truly hope Hotels.com reads this comments and remove this place from its website. No one should go thru this. Luckily it was only 1 night. The attached picture is right next to the hotel

Great experience!

We booked TwentyTú Hostel at the last minute because we missed a night of our trip.... and then we didn't want to leave to go to our other accommodations! The rooftop common area was beautiful (day and night) and we didn't experience any crowding in the times we used it. The downstairs common room was well furnished, complete with different areas and decorative walls. There is space to cook, store, and eat your own food as well. As a "green" hostel, the most annoying thing was the lights and water on timers in the bathrooms in order to save on electricity and water waste- but even that was for good reason. The space felt a little small for four people but it encouraged use of the common areas. The locker space was efficient and there were even drawers underneath our bunks for bonus storage. The receptionist when we checked in picked up on a little bit of Spanish mixed in with our English and offered to explain details in Spanish to help us practice (while still making sure everything made sense). We loved our stay at the TwentyTú Hostel and would definitely come stay here again!

Not a fan

Stayed in a four bed private dorm and would not recommend it if you like your own space. Our own bunk bed was the only space you got, the room was narrow and small. The toilet light is on a timer. The bathroom tap is on a short ten second timer, and the shower turns off every seventeen seconds. If you bash the shower button every few seconds you can keep it going, but it’s so frustrating regardless. The staff were nice, but based on all the ‘efficency’ stuff the hostel was a pain in the ass to actually stay in. Make sure you bring your own towel, otherwise you will be charged per towel to rent, and they don’t have bath mats either. It is also ‘forbidden’ to eat and drink in your room, and you have to purchase soaps and shampoos from reception if you want any. In a private room we found this ridiculous. Location was good, walkable distance to everything we wanted, but considering it was close to the same price as a hotel to stay in, I highly do not recommend it.

Very pleasant staff and easy check-in. Lacks the charm of some hostels, but was clean, with a comfortable bed and adequate kitchen and laundry facilities.

A decent place for a short stay in Spain

I got a private room for a colleague and myself while on a very short trip to Barcelona. The room was average, clean for a hostel. The breakfasts were lackluster and not too fulfilling. If I could do it again I would get a hotel for small additional cost which would provide us with much more comfort. I would recommend this place to people who are looking for the no-frill hostel experience.

Clean hostel

Typically, one would choose to stay at a hostel because it is cheaper than a hotel but with TwentyTú, I'm not sure that's the case, since we ended up paying 185 GBP for 2 nights at a twin room. Would that have been much more expensive at a hotel? The best thing I can say about the room, and it is not a small thing, is that its cleanliness was outstanding. However, comfort-wise, the room was not much better than your average hostel, other than the fact that there were only 2 beds in the room. The beds were uncomfortable, the lights at the toilet room kept turning off automatically every 30 seconds or so. The shower water stopped every 17 seconds "to save water". And then the breakfast... It was included but I much rather pay extra for a better breakfast than the awful one we got. It was obvious they bought the cheapest products they could find because nothing tasted good. In summary, don't stay here unless it turns out to be at least 50% cheaper than the cheapest hotel rate you can find. It would be not worth the hassle otherwise.

Stayed in a 4 bed hostel for 5 nights with some friends. It's a nice new hostel with a rooftop terrace and a huge common area. The neighbourhood has a lot of restaurants and is in a pretty good location

Well placed, clean, secure place to stay

I fled another hostel nearby to stay here. The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming, even when you try to speak your rusty Spanish. The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. The rooftop patio offers great views and a place to socialize or relax. The metro is a five minute walk away, or you can walk to all the key spots within 45 minutes if you prefer. The cafe next door is delightful. I hope this hostel can maintain this standard.\ Note, unlike some hostels, they do not have soap in the bathroom- you must bring your own or buy it on site.

My only complaint was the room was very hot and because I was on fourth floors we couldn't open the window and no way to control the temperature in room.

Great Location and Eco-Friendly

The location was great, being both near the beach and downtown (via Glories station). The only annoying things were that the showers and lights were on automatic timers and you could not open the windows. Also, if you are one who drinks hard liquors, beware that you can't have any alcohol in your room and no more than 23% in the common area. The luggage storage was great too!

Very good deal room for 4 persons we paid only € 80 small room and twin beds but for that price is good including free wi-fi and a cheap brakfast its ok!,beside the locations is awesome! This hotel and hostel is new very updated!! Well recomended!!

Definitely a lively place to stay

This is very much a young person's hostel so anyone who thinks 10 O' Clock is bedtime might not find it peaceful enough. For a hostel, the rooms are very well equipped. We had our own bathroom, separate toilet and lock-up cupboards. There is a communal area in the basement containing a cafe, TV screens and plenty of internet access. The self-catering section is also perfectly adequate although we only made tea there.

A short cab into the city centre

Amazing staff and very clean. Only at 6€ cab ride into the main shopping and clubbing. Breakfast was simple and convenient. Food and drinks are not allowed in the rooms, but common areas were huge. Roof top was key for the views. Stay here!

ROOM IS SMALL, BREAKFAST IS PATHETIC

The price for hostle is really expensive, and the room is small and not friendly designed. The window can not open, the bathroom even no hand wash no garbage bin. The shower need to push the handle every 1 min to keep having the hot water. The breakfast only have slice bread and coffee, milk and fruit. The location is ok.

The hostel was ok, looks brand new, it's cheap and it's easy to get by Metro, Tram or Bus to the rest of the city

Excellent value and great atmosphere

I loved it. The staff, the other guests, the facilities and the atmosphere. Service was quick and good, free wifi everywhere and a lovely roof terrace to relax on. Kitchen and lounge facilities good too. Clean, comfortable and enjoyable. And close to metro station to get around. Would highly recommend.

Personale disponibile e attento. Struttura curata e pulita e adatta a famiglie e comitive di amici. Terrazza stupenda sia per le serate a tema organizzate dalla struttura sia per rilassarsi e gustarsi il panorama stupendo. Ottima scelta da ripetere.

Pesima no lo recomiendo

Pulito, camera semplice ma giustamente essendo un ostello, comunque bella stanza pulita e comoda. Posizione ottima 10 minuti a piedi dalla sacrada famiglia, super market sotto casa e pista ciclabile per tutte le vie circostanti. Zona tranqulla e centrale. Personale ottimo, gentile disponibile e simpatico

Posizione comoda, vicina a due linee metro (L1 e L4). Camera quadrupla con bagno davvero piccolina ma fortunatamente ci siamo stati poco. Spazi comuni molto carini. Non abbiamo trovato gli asciugamani e sebbene fosse specificato nei servizi della camera "biancheria in cotone egiziano" ho dovuto pagare 12€ extra per 3 asciugamani!

Ostello comodo, a piedi è tutto raggiungibile in massimo 30 minuti,bella la terrazza, la pulizia un po' da migliorare ma nel complesso esperienza positiva!

Nos sorprendió la habitación, muy funcional y acogedora, muy buena atención del personal,.La zona de comedor y ocio espectacular, bien equipada y bien distribuida. La terraza común de 10. Lo que menos nos gustó, la ausencia de de productos de aseo personal en el baño y las toallas de alquiler, pero por el precio de la habitación es aceptable. Muy recomendable para una noche en una gran ciudad, con buena comunicación de transporte público y cerca de la Sagrada Familia.

Hospedaje hippie

Es un hospedaje para jóvenes (mochileros, hippies) como dice el nombre. No tiene comodidades, ni toallas ni jabón ni mesa ni silla ni shampoo y con su lema de ecológico la ducha se corta cada 17 seg por lo que tenes que bañarte en cuotas y no tiene agua caliente en el lavatorio sólo la clásica canilla de estación de servicio con botón automático que también se corta cada pocos segundos y sale con demasiada presión. Te apagan la luz a las 00 hs y reanudan a las 8 am, quedan unos spots encendidos y una lámpara pequeña en cada cama, una de ellas estaba quemada y los mini estantes en cada cama estaban rotos también. Las paredes son finísimas entre las habitaciones por lo que se escuchaban las voces de los otros cuartos y los golpes en la pared ya que las camas están pegadas a ella y la habitación es muy muy reducida. Sumado a que las puertas no cierran bien, se abren con una tarjeta pero al cerrar hay que hacer presión porque la muchacha que limpió la habitación luego de que nos fuéramos la dejó entornada cuando salió y quedó la habitación abierta. Encienden un aire frío de madrugada que nos enfermó la primera noche, tuvimos que pedir que lo apagaran y en eso no tuvimos problemas. Hay una cocina general pequeña pero de noche se llena y no hay lugar para todos.

When no hotel is available instead....

Barcelona was very busy this week so the only room at 120 euro/night option I found was to stay in this hostel. What I got was in fact a four beds dormitorium only for myself, with very limited comfort, and quite far from a regular hotel service room. Just Ok for one night if no other option is available....

Quando ho scoperto che non c'erano gli asciugamani mi sono un po' arrabbiata perché prenotando una stanza per quattro persone mi aspettavo che fossero inclusi visto che il prezzo non era bassissimo. Una volta arrivati però , mi sono ricreduta perché nonostante la camera fosse davvero piccola, l'ostello offre tantissimi servizi: cucina comune spazi comuni , terrazza meravigliosa. Ottima posizione. SagrAda famiglia raggiungibile a piedi. Due differenti linee del metrò raggiungibile a piedi. Per chi vuole visitare Barcellona è perfetto . Abbiamo parcheggiato la macchina nel loro parcheggio interno per 15 € al giorno. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene… I bambini si sono innamorati di questo ostello.

Bekväm säng och trevlig personal

Detta hostel ligger på gångavstånd från det fräscha och totalrenoverade shoppingcentret Glories. Där finns också tunnelbana, spårvagn och flera busslinjer. Rummet (4-bäddars) är litet och toaletten är intryckt i ett minimalt utrymme. Duschen var bra, sängen var väldigt bekväm. Personalen är oerhört serviceminded.

Hotel agradable y muy limpio

Muy agradable y cómodo, el personal del hotel muy atento, todo muy limpio y casi todo caminando, también hay una estación de metro cerca por si es necesario moverse a algo más.

Chambre trop petite avec des litières ! Aucun service : pas de frigo, pas de TV, ni coffre, ni rien... il faut même faire son lit ! Petit déjeuner minimal ! Seul bon point : très bon Wifi !

O fato de ter uma cozinha compartilhada ajuda muito quando se quer preparar algo no hotel mesmo. Relativamente próximo ao metrô( 5 minutos e uma ladeira andando) se a mala tiver pesada, melhor um táxi! Ótimo custo X benefício Wi fi funciona muito bem. Parte chata: Banheiros separado da parte de onde toma banho e lava as mãos. Não ter box( do aqueles cortinas de plástico ) Não ter opção de cama de casal. Pagar para "alugar" toalhas, sabonetes, shampoo, tudo por fora. Chuveiro fica ligado por 17 segundos( tem que ficar apertando no botão pra continuar saindo água( igual a torneira de shopping)

El hotel es muy moderno pero faltan cosas

El hotel es muy moderno y está muy bien, pero le faltan muchas cosas que no te cambian las toallas y las sabanas lo veo mal el desayuno es muy mejorable y quizás pasamos algo de frío en la habitación yo pondría unas estanterías en los baños y un secador de pelo y una mesa en la habitación lo demás nos ha parecido muy bien la idea de poder comprar y cocinar allí lavarte la ropa y demás modernidades

Esta bien para quedarse un fin de semana, pero no más, ya que las habitaciones son un poco agobiantes debido a lo estrechas que son . La terraza era una zona estupenda y el personal amable.

Super Hostel für einen Städtetrip

Das Personal des Hostels kann gut deutsch und helfen bei allen Fragen und Problemen weiter. Die Zimmer sind sauber und hervorragend für einen Städtetrip geeignet. Für ein Hostel ist das Frühstück ausreichend. Hat man dennoch Hunger, dann kann man in den 10 Minuten entfernten Supermarkt gehen und sich verpflegen. An diesem Supermarkt kommt man auf dem Weg zum Strand entlang. Der Strand ist 15 Gehminuten vom Hostel entfernt. Insgesamt ist dieses Hostel für einen Städtetrip zu empfehlen, da auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut zu erreichen sind.
