The establishment called me to let me know that we left our jewelry behind. I am thankful that they were honest because I don’t think how we left our jewelry in a hotel that they would’ve been returned.

Checking was really easy. The cabin was clean. I would stay there again

A 1 night stay is ok

PLUS: It’s secluded which is nice. Someone contacted us regarding check-in. Appreciated that! NOT SO GREAT: the fan in our cabin was noisy. There was a mildew smell coming from the a/c window unit, and the pool area didn't have any lighting. All in all, it was an ok stay for 1 night.

Beautiful little cabins

We enjoyed our stay in the quaint cabin with a king size bed and a loft with a large bed (I didn’t go up there but both of our children enjoyed playing up there on it). The king was not very comfortable but that was the only ding. The cabin was quaint and rustic and the campgrounds were quiet at night. We stayed three nights and the kids and I slept fine but my pregnant wife did not find the bed to be firm and comfortable enough. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay, it was a nice jump-off point for a trip down to BRCC in Boerne, and to Bankersmith and Fredericksburg.

Great location!

It was amazing. My only complaint was the outdoor lighting in the porch. It was so incredibly bright at night that is was like having a light on inside. There wasn’t any type of curtain for the door. The place was in a perfect location to where we needed to be which was so convenient. It was quiet and everyone was very nice. I still give it a five star rating and apology because I unplugged the lights at night so we could have some darkness.

The property was a unique little village of RV's & cabins to rent. We loved our cozy cabin & the proximity to the pool.

Great place to stay

staff was very friendly, stayed for a weekend and enjoyed the quiet and the environment, stayed in my cabin most of the time, interior is not modern but it was a nice stay, most people stayed in most of the time, would have like to socialize more there but it was a very peaceful stay. will return in the future.

The property was fine. I would like to have TV available. The new system was not workable and I could not connect to Wifi in the cabin.

Pillows were hard, no soap in the shower and we didn’t bring any, room was a little musty smelling.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Property was very well taken care of. Front desk clerk was nice and friendly.

Lovely place

Great property! We've sayed here 4 times already. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The front office lasy wa sweet and helpful. The pool was very clean as always. Love the quiet atmosphere.

Quiet and Cozy

Our cabin was quite and cozy and a great place for a weekend stay. The only downside is that the bathroom is small and the water pressure wasn't very strong, but it's a property we'd like to return to regardless.

Good location but smelled like septic at the check in center and in the cabin. No soaps. Cute older cabin but overpriced for what you get. Highway noise and AC noise was bad and the room I stayed in was a duplex. There was a big gap at the top of the door between the rooms. You can look through to see the other room and walls are thin. Nice ladies at check in but wouldn’t recommend it for a restful spot.

We were in town for the Spartan Obstacle race so did not stay at the cabin much. The amenities looked great and the pool looked very inviting. It was a nice clean space to stay but the road noise was really loud from our cabin.

Cabin looked a lot bigger on the pictures and it was very tiny very disappointed!

A Hidden Jewel.

It was better than the pictures. Just what we needed for the holidays.

All the comforts of home. Could use better mattresses, but all in all, its great.

Our stay was nice and cozy. The room was very vey small. It is called a duplex. Maybe when booking the different cabin sizes should be revealed. The pictures displayed on the website are deceiving because they show several cabins. I didn’t have options to choose. So when I booked I didn’t know which one I booked until I called after the fact. At that point I could not cancel because they would keep one night rent. It was a nice place but we were so cramped up for space trying to get ready for a wedding. Friendly staff.

Weekend with family

Great place for us to stay close to family ranch. Cabin we stayed in had 2 full size beds and a sleeper sofa. There is a coffee pot , microwave and a small table. The bath is very small with a small shower. Not great for a big person. Room fine for mom and dad with children.

Lovely cabin, very clean, plenty of room!

We stayed for only one night but I wish it was longer the small cabin was lovely and had such a peaceful vibe to it! We felt so relaxed and had everything we needed, plenty of places to explore all closeby. We visited the Bourne lake park and it was so beautiful and well taken care of. We will definitely stay in a cabin again.

Came for a wedding at Don Strange Ranch. Top of the Hill RV Resort was very close and a great place to stay!

My version of camping is a firepit a nice little grass area to sit with some lawn chairs or a big enough area to set up games or something. It was literally just a cabin on a small plot with enough space to park your car on and thats it. I was so amazed by the pictures of the mountain views but when you get there and youre in a cabin you cannot see the mountain views and when I walked around to find this spot where it shows a bench and an open area to look at the mountians it wasn't to be found. (unless that was a view from one of the many rv's lots) The pool was closed and there was NOTHING TO DO. Not worth the $120 for one night.

We really enjoy the amenities at the cabin we had. We really enjoyed visiting the surrounding which was central to a lot of places we enjoyed. We had a very positive experience.

Clean house but in a noisy location!

Too many levels! Up steps to loft, down to sink in bathroom, another step to toilet, a huge step down to bedroom! Cabin is showing it’s age! If you plan on cooking or eating here bring utensils! 3 forks!!

Comfy and close to Boerne

So quiet, we slept in later than we thought we would. Very quick trip to Boerne. Quaint decor in the cabin we stayed in, The Red Rose. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Unexpected charm

The guest cottages/cabins are charming, clean and well maintained. The staff is superb - friendly and very helpful. We’ve not stayed here before, but certainly will in the future when visiting Comfort & Boerne.

Cabin was clean and comfortable with a great porch to sit and relax at the end of the evening and morning coffee. RV park was clean and quiet with great views.

Nice Clean Cabin in the hill country.

It is a nice clean cabin. It was perfect for what we needed. The queen bed is in a loft. So if you have kids, it's perfect for them.

We only stayed one night, to go to a Cody Jinks concert, but it was a good experience all around. We will be back.

Great little getaway

It was great!!! A cozy cabin away from home! The staff was great and accommodating. We arrived super late and they had everything ready for us. The cabin was perfect little getaway. We are country folks and enjoy a country feel.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend Top of the Hill. Great value and served our needs for the weekend. Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Great location near many of the wedding venues.

Nice, quiet little place to stay. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. The only complaint I have was the bathroom smelled like urine. Otherwise, the property was very pretty and clean and well maintained.

Hill Country Cabin: The Yellow Rose

My family enjoyed our one cabin night stay at the Top of the Hill RV Resort. The staff was very friendly and the Yellow Rose cabin they gave us was great. No complaints; a/c cold, shower was hot, queen bed was very comfortable. The small pool was very clean; about 20 x 12 @ 4ft deep and the club house was comfortable; pool table, darts, gym, lounge area with WIFI, air conditioned restrooms/shower areas, Laundry. Resort has a store that sells items like ice, drinks, etc and handles mail. Will definitely come back .

Loved it!

We stayed there for our wedding weekend and loved it! Great people and great place! Would highly recommend the cabins if you want a quiet little stay and a chance to unplug and unwind!

This is a review of Travelocity

The booking did not go thru. We arrived at the location to find we did not have a room. Was assured by the resort we would not be charged. Am still waiting for Travelocity to remove this charge from my account. Travelocity sucks. Will be sure not to use this web site again.
