Staff is very friendly
The Inn and grounds were charming. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location worked out. A few quirky things about the room door, no dresser, shower curtain. Yet all good for a few nights.
The staff at the restaurant were very bad and acted like they did not want to be there. The rooms are on a hill so if you get out in the lowest cabin like I did it’s a big walk to get up to the restaurant or pool. It can be very difficult after long days of adventures
Good value for the money.
Lovely half cabin with a king bed and two twins. The mattress on the king is exceedingly firm, did not sleep well on it. The location is good, the staff is friendly. The meals at the restaurant are decent as well.
This place was amazing! Friendly clean, the restaurant was great. It was quiet but also near everything. Wonderful pool with out door dining
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Jenny took care of us. Very clean and private cabin to stay in with a mini frig. Nice pool to relax at with restaurant and bar to enjoy an afternoon at. Location is close to town and easy to find. We would stay there again.
Affordable, clean, and great staff. I was traveling with my three teens and my parents so two cabins were perfect. The only thing I will note is to request a cabin or room close to the restaurant if you have difficulty walking.
Getting any drinks at the pool took forever- like 45 min and tasted like virgin drinks. All other staff was fab.
Great value for the price
Reservation said the room had a fridge. It didn't.
The restaurant service in the evening was ver slow. Took hour and half to get our order. Two of our group of five were finished before rest got served. Otherwise food was good.
The property was beautiful. The staff provided exceptional customer service. The food at the restaurant was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning.
I would stay here again.
I would stay here again without hesitation. The only problem was trying to get Expedia to resolve the issue of payment to the hotel after I prepaid a month in advance. After hours of dealing with multiple Expedia reps I just paid the hotel… so basically I paid double for my room.
Definitely stay here again!!!
I booked here because it was cheap and reviews were good. I would book here again without hesitation. Staff are great, restaurant is excellent, and the grounds are pretty.
Perfect for a familly
It is the perfect place for us to come as a family. The children love the pool, and my wife and I love the food.
Great staff. Excellent breakfast. convenient location
Nice away from noise of city taxi was 5 usa so easy without car
There was a freaking hole in the shower stall that was leaking water until the subflooring and it felt like you were going to fall through the floor every time you took a shower. Reception desk was hardly ever staffed properly and the bartenders at the pool were weird.
The pool and restaurant area are lovely and our cabin was perfect for us. We really enjoyed our stay.
Not worth it
We weren’t given the room we paid for, but a dorm like room for our family so had no private outdoor space. The lights flickered, the bathroom locked from the outside but not the inside, the TV didn’t work and the pool was cloudy. They compensated our second night, which we didn’t stay for because it wasn’t worth it.
Hotel with plants, but not really a resort
Wifi did NOT work inside the room Water pressure in the sink was ridiculously weak Staff were very nice
A secluded retreat.
We stayed here for an enjoyable 3 nights. We had a standard double bed cabin, which was adequate for our needs, although the double beds felt small and the bathroom tired but clean. The individual cabins looked very good. The location is ideal if you have transport, as its a bit too far for a comfortable walk, but there are plently of reasonable taxis if required. The staff are helpful and the food is good at at reasonable price. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recomend it for others.
Close to the Mayan Ruins ,also the property with lots of birds its beutiful.
San ignacio
Enjoyed staying here, peaceful and quiet.restaurant and bar convenient and attentive. Nolan went above and beyond to offer suggestions about site seeing and arranging trips Trip to ATMcave was once in a lifetime experience but not for the faint of heart. Very nice pool area
Beautiful Property. Excellent Rooms. And Mr. Nolan made sure my Wife and I had whatever we needed! We will Encourage Family, Friends and Anyone else, to stay and Enjoy The Log Cab Inn in San Ignacio, Belize☀️
The restaurant, pool & bar is the best. Many locals were visiting which helped with keeping company and enjoying the amenities! The cabin was superb and very much the exact same as an upscale hotel room. The staff is more than wonderful and probably what makes this spot very popular. Definitely recommend their drink called the nutty professor!
Great stay for fun adventure
Great staff and facilities..the bed was a bit uncomfy but not bad..the restaurant was awesome great experience overall
Amazing property with friendly excellent staff. Great food and drinks on site The property is also close to the Myan ruins and other tours
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was a hot day and the air in our room didn’t work well. But that is easily fixable. It’s a beautiful property.
Pretty grounds with lots of outdoor space to walk around. Cabins are simple with one open room for the bed and sitting area, like you might find at a state park. Not a 'resort' by most American's definition so know that going into it. Food at the Inn was decent, but go into to town to experience the local hangouts.
Everything was easy and smooth. You can book excursions through the hotel. They’re not far from town so don’t worry about that, it’s a short cab ride. You’re a short bus/cab ride to one of the best Mayan temples as well. The pool is great, and the restaurant is great too. The staff is awesome. Wifi is plentiful, rooms are super clean and comfy, ac works great, and there’s some sweet fog in the forest in the morning which makes it magical. You can see Toucans fly by in the mornings. 10/10 no regrets.
Wonderful gardens, extremely helpful staff, great pool, good food, wonderful ambiance. Plan to go again.
It was a nice stay. The only concern I had was that they debited my credit card while I had all intention to pay cash.
San Ignacio Retreat
Our Cabin was spotless, the shower had great water pressure and new tile. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but my husband didnt agree. We had a great view from our hammock on the balcony. Very peaceful. The bar/restaurant was delicious! We had breakfast every morning, with coffee. Hand made Mozzarella sticks, mini beef tacos, and coconut shrimp were just a few of our favorites. All the staff was so helpful giving us tips on where to go, what to see and where to eat! It’s about 5 -8 cab minutes from the hustle and busses of the downtown area. The front desk is open late and willing to get you a ride. Overall we would stay here again!
Very nice place! Clean rooms! Very tranquil and your own space. Lovely pool. The food is great!! You can choose from traditional or western foods. People are friendly there!
Staff was excellent! The beds were uncomfortable, but overall the room was very nice and clean. We loved our stay here.
The property is nice. The cabins are adequate and quaint. It is nicely and seems safely located near San Ignacio and several Mayan sites. The best thing about this property is Nolan- see him at the excellent restaurant onsite nightly to schedule your daytrips. Dont even think if doing it yourself. He has the contacts, which mean more reliable contacts and better prices than on your own. Invaluable help- be sure to ask for him!
Quaint, Log cabins with great surroundings
This was a nice resort, set back from the highway, so you feel you are secluded. You can't even see the cabins from the highway, and you can't hear the road noises either. The cabins are comfortable, and spacious. We had no problems with hot water supply, and everything was very clean. The grounds were lovely, and the cabins were mostly two rooms per building, so very quiet and private. The pool was not clear, but there was a lot of rain, and a huge group that was there the night we arrived, so I'm guessing normally it is nicer. The restaurant was great - nice, friendly staff, and good food. It was adjacent to the pool, so very easy to have a drink or snack poolside. This was a nice, clean place to stay. Also landscaped very nice with lots of flowers. It was nice to hear the birds in the trees in the mornings. The resort is just outside of San Ignacio, so very convenient. There is a great sandwich shop in town - Ko-Ox-Han-Nah. Hightly recommend for great food, and enormous servings. If you are looking for quality paintings or wood craft - try Orange Gallery just 15 minutes east of San Ignacio on the main highway. They have a wonderful selection, and some amazing rosewood items. We also did the tour to Caracol, but it is truly NOT accessible in bad weather - as the road is pure mud and slippery limestone up a mountain. Don't do it unless you go through tour company that has 4x4 vehicle, and the weather is good. The site is great, but getting there is hard.
Is a good hotel, with cabanas, almoat in the jungle. Is rustic but charming, an the staff is friendly
Everyone was very nice. The room was good . I would recommend this place
It’s very convenient, because is super close of cross border with Guatemala .

Great value and all you need
I am leaving all 5 star rating because this property was by far the most affordable place we stayed in during our one month trip to Belize! The pool is fantastic and warm and the food options are delicious and reasonably priced. Our cabin was not fancy but it had all necessities and was clean. This is not a fancy resort but was great value, especially with the fridge and microwave. The reception staff was super friendly!
