Clean and well stocked with towels etc. A comfortable spot to stay.

I liked how friendly and helpful the staff was. It was a great value for the price. Nice and spacious. Great views. It wasn't really the hotel's fault, but our whole floor smelled like weed when we got back to go to bed. Thankfully the smell didn't get into our room. The bed was pretty firm, but I'm never comfortable in beds that aren't mine, so I'm not the best judge.

So close to Temple Square. If doing genealogy research at the Family History Center, this is a perfect place to stay. The rooms have kitchenette- great for saving $ on meals. If you’re wondering, they do have coffee machine (this is SLC!). Salt Lake City was beautiful, very clean, and friendly.

Bathroom dark, hole in floor in bathroom, burn hole in couch. However, these were minor issues. Overall the room and the hotel were cute and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Home from home.

Perfect location. Clean and spacious. Had everything I needed and a super warm welcome.

Convenient for my trip. This is an older property with stairs, if that is a concern. The room was very clean and roomy.

Great quiet place to stay.

Everything was great except there was no shampoo. Also I took a bath and hair plus gunk came up the drain. The room was cute and clean. We would stay again.

Room was cozy!

I liked everything, everything was perfect and I had an incredible night. The only thing I didn't like was that they gave me a code that didn't work and they didn't tell me that it had been changed. They solved it quickly anyway!

Lovely establishment, spacious and comfortable in an old fashioned way, a bit like staying at grandma's house with plush carpets and heavy furniture. Very convenient, helpful friendly staff and great value for downtown. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel with a fantastic location. Check-in/out was so smooth and easy, all staff were helpful, informative, and friendly. Room was comfortable, clean, kitchen was well-stocked. We will definitely stay here for future visits to Salt Lake.

2 bedroom stay

Check in was after hours, (front desk has hours of operation) easy process. Place was quiet throughout our stay. Very convenient location for activities at Temple Square. Had the two bedroom suite. Room was very clean with plenty of towels, cooking stuff etc. Would have given it 5 stars but the hotel is a little old looking/outdated, in need of some TLC. The furniture looked very old and had this greasy feeling. Carpets looked old. We put sheets over the chair and couch which helped. The company should switch out furniture every once in a while and do better maintenance. There was a lot of wear n tear in the rooms, door knob coatings worn, shower head/faucet brass worn off and other various small details that should be addressed to make the place a little better. Overall I would definitely come back and stay.

Clean, functional, and affordable w/great location

Clean and functional lodging in an excellent location in downtown SLC. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed is in no danger of being classified as roomy, or comfortable. Never could figure our the heating system. The temperature just kept flashing. Helpful fitness center. Hotel has an "old building" smell, but it's clean and functional. Very affordable for the location. Would likely stay there again.

I've stayed here before. Same great value and personal. Dawn, a constant, and Darrel are great help. Some rooms dated but comfortable and roomy.

The Kimball is a class operation, from the time you check in until the time you check out. It is clean comfortable and affordable. Located downtown SLC.

Wonderful small hotel with good amenities.

Fantastic location, safe, clean and easy to check in and out. Onsite parking is convenient. It's dated but very functional and quiet. Temple construction in the area may affect traffic but you can enter from the north just fine.

The Kimball is an adequate substitute for hotel lodging. The building and furnishings are showing wear. It was secure and safe and the staff was helpful.

I gave 4 stars coz of the stairs. They have elevator but you still have to take stairs and we have big luggage Check-in was ok we had to wait maybe more than 5 mins . The guy was on the phone for more than 5 mins. The room was nice with kitchen and sofa .

This was ideal for us mid way through a 3 week road trip. It was a comfortable central hotel within easy walking distance of the city centre. Although no breakfast was provided there was a full kitchen so you could prepare your own meals. There is a laundry and reception can provide detergent etc and a very comfortable lounge with coffee. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces

Quiet area convenient to downtown

this was a quaint hotel that was near the main part of Salt Lake City. We found the rooms musty and had to keep the fan on and the windows open. By doing that, the room was fine.

A lovely place to stay. The bed had a sag on my side and the dishwasher was very old & noisy, but other than that, it was great. Would stay there again.

Quaint place that exceeded expectations!

This place exceeded our expectations! This is my first time renting a condo and I didn't know exactly how to prepare (in comparison to a hotel), so we over prepared. This location provided, more, and then some, of necessities and comfort. It's a must stay at while visiting SLC!

Great stay

What a gem in the city! We enjoyed our condo. The check in was fast. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable.

It was great. Clean. The hide a bed was not comfy. You could feel the springs. But other then that everything was great.

Excellent except sagging bed. I could not get comfortable sleep.

The Kimbell was a great place to stay for our visit to Salt Lake City. The room was well equipped and we were able to self cater. Spacious, clean, good shower and comfortable bed.

Fantastic updated hotel that was formerly an apartment complex...huge rooms, new decor, very comfortable. I had a full apartment with a living room, dining area, kitchen, bath and bedroom; will definitly stay there again.

This property was as pictured on the site. There is an elevator and stairs to access the room. Street noise can be heard from this unit. Bed was comfortable

The suite was clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay, and I enjoyed the proximity to downtown and the beautiful Temple Square.

The Kimball was a great place to stay. We were close to Temple Square. There were lots of restaurants. The kimball itself was a nice place to stay. Our unit was an apartment that had everything we needed. Full kitchen, king sized bed, nice bathroom with hot water for a shower. It was just cute. Should I be in salt lake city again this is the place I'd want to stay

Lovely, roomy accommodations. Unfortunately, the bedding and covers were stained, so we opted to use our own linens that we always carry with us on a road trip. Despite this, it's a good hotel option due to its convenient location near downtown Utah. Good parking.

This was a studio room with kitchen. It was very homey and very comfortable, an excelent stay!

A nice hotel in a great location, staff we're lovely! Unfortunately room wasn't in the best condition for cleanliness.. the previous guests dishes were still in the dishwasher (and dirty), Plus a few tissues under the bed/back of the side table. (Staff kindly offered to replace this dishes, so only a minor inconvenience).

We’ve stayed there before. It’s a nice, quaint place. The room was perfect for us! The only thing that was an issue was the slow water pressure in shower head. It took us twice as long to shower because of the low water pressure in the newly installed water saver shower heads. 2 nights we did bathed like that. I told the front desk about it and she said that all the shower heads got changed and that’s to be expected. Couldn’t do anything about it. It wasn’t until someone from the hotel reached out by text and asked about our stay there thus far. When I told them of the situation, immediately they sent someone and it was fixed. We had great water pressure flow and showers after that. I would stay there again but someplace closer to the front desk. A lot of stairs that’s why even with an elevator.

WILL RETURN OFTEN. NEEDED TO BE NEAR THR UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER

The door to my room was unlocked when I got there, and it was very hard to lock once I was inside. So, I just stayed in the room the whole day and night from fear of not being able to lock the door back. The hotel/condo property was outdated, and you had to use stairs to get to the elevator. The front desk closes at 7pm, and the front door is locked at that time. So, I’m not sure what people with a later arrival time are supposed to do.

Had a late check in. Everything was set up to make it smooth. Room was perfect- clean and inviting.

Microwave and Stovetop did not work.

When I walked into the bathroom when we got there it looked as if there was throw up in the toilet. The microwave and stovetop did not work. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful but it was not the most comfortable stay that is why I gave it a three star.

Historical Hotel. Very interesting and well kept.

The remote was not working, called and a young man came and brought us batteries and showed us how to use the two remotes!

I love that we are right next to the conference center ❤️

Needed a place to stay/shower/rest for 6 hours prior to a redeye flight out of SLC and this fit the bill. Nice, quiet, parking included, and convenient to downtown restaurants.

Such an easy and low key stay. It’s a bit outdated but all the amenities are there, and it’s fun to stay in a bit of a time capsule. All the employees were incredibly kind and accommodating. Look forward to staying here again!

Unique old building. Some units look like they’ve been remodeled. We were in a unit that was old with an annoying old smell. The furnace did not heat the apartment.

For our M-Th stay it was quiet and close to sights seeing locations as well as downtown.

Temple Apartments

People were very friendly and helpful. Seeded a lower unit for health reasons and they are very accommodating.

Great location! It was nice to have a full one bedroom condo instead of just a hotel room. We felt right at home.

Great for business travel

Easy booking and check-in process. Service how it should be from the front desk. Room was spacious and clean. Kitchen went unused but a great option. Decor is retro and met my needs. Located near downtown and many options for outdoor exercise. Gym was a bit small but had was needed for a short hotel workout.

It was a historical building. Well kept and in excellent condition, room felt real homey.Friendly staff, quick check in.

A presence

My wife and I did not stay the night there do to really bad energy in room heavy. Really bad smell old run down furniture etc

Enjoyed staying there it is clean, quiet and in a good location. I especially liked the price however when I went in to look on website cost was double. Probably will stay in a nice hotel at that price.
