Our two night stay was most enjoyable. Accommodations were second to none! Check-in staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. We will strongly consider staying at The Gables again.

Disappointed given the price point

While The Gables was an excellent set up and suited our needs, it was not as clean as it should have been in our estimation such as the dish tray being unclean, hair in the fridge, bathrooms dirty, sheets did not fit the bed in the master bedroom and the dishwasher did not function (did not drain). The broken solar lights on crooked posts leading to the entrance of the unit were less than an inviting welcome.

More lights outdoor and indoor

Working outdoor lights would have been nice the solarpowerlights are not working, way to cheap only very expensive solarpowerlights are working more than a week. More tools for cooking bowl, glasses etc., and we were missing dinner plates only lunch plate were in the Villa. The pool was closed when we arrived should have been open until 15, do not matter we have both pool and spa at home, but you need to inform the customers when they arrive and give a discount or similar. More lights indoor would be nice specially with the beds for reading before bedtime.

Very spacious and modern layout. Peaceful and quiet location only minutes from Cavendish.

The units are big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 3 young children. The pool house was great for the kids.

We had a lovely stay. Towel exchange everyday would have been a plus and having some cleaners and pot holders would have helped. Other than that it is a beautiful property and we will return

Property is in a lovely setting with nice views of the surrounding countryside, and close to everything in the Cavendish region. For ocean views, you will need to drive a few minutes. Suite was spacious and clean, good for a family of four or less. Our suite was starting to show its age a bit, as bathroom exhaust fan was making a disturbing loud noise and there was some evidence of water damage in ceiling. Overall, the property is a decent value for families that want a bit more space and amenities (eg full kitchen, BBQ) than normally offered in hotels.

Great place, great stay, great facility

Great location in a wonderful 2 bedroom full golf suite with 2 bath, LR,DR, full kitchen,covered patio with 6 seat table. Beautiful location, highly recomended. Beds need improving other than that it was excellent

Relaxing Vacation

Great villa, equipped with everything you need. If you are planning to attend a formal event (wedding,etc.) during your stay bring a full length mirror. The only thing missing from the villa. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool house.

We always enjoy our return vacation . Whether it's golf, beaches, or attractions ...you're close to everything , yet it's quiet and relaxing .

Gables of PEI

The Gables totally exceeded our expectationss. The rooms were very comfortable both with it's furnishings and temperature. They provided us with all the basics we needed for the kitchen. It was truly a home away from home. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!!

New cottages close drive to the beach

Loved the pool house and loved how close we were to Farmer's market and Caleigh. Close drive to Cavendish beach and shops.

Loved this modern villa in PEI

We loved The Gables! It was a modern facility that had everything we could possibly need and more! The only downside was due to how new the property is (and the fact that it is still in the process of being competed). The road and paths are not paved which made driving and bringing in luggage a little difficult. Otherwise everything was perfect and we are excited to see how it grows by the next time we come to visit.

We liked the location near the sea as well as close proximity to nearby towns of Cavendish and North Rustico.

It was a beautiful get away. It was exactly like a home away from home. All the comforts and amenities of home. The stay was like nothing I have ever experienced before. It was one of the best parts of your vacation and it make the vacation easier, more relaxing and more enjoyable. We look forward to returning.

Exceeded our expectation!

The location and condition of the unit is exceeded our expectation. The café onsite offered excellent food. The only complain is the pool house is too far away from our unit even though we had requested a closer one. Nonetheless, it was a great stay for our family. Will definitely come back.

Booked as part of a 2 week family road trip and this was the PEI portion of the trip. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The property is made up of a series of houses, that are split in to 4 units each. Each unit is essentially a self-contained condo itself. It is not very far (about 15KM) to a grocery store where we picked up dinner for the first night. The second night we tried the restaurant on the grounds and the food was excellent and a good value. The unit it self was nicely furnished, clean, quite and provided a decent amount of privacy considering there were three other units in the same building and another house of 4 units that we share a parking lot with. The location is great, only a short drive to Cavendish Beach and the Green Gables house. Make sure you update your GPS map, as I had forgotten to, and my GPS could not find the location. Google Maps solved that for us, but it is something to keep in mind. Overall good value for the price.

Quiet Luxury

Newly built luxus appartments on a quiet place close to National Parks of PEI and Beaches. In a 15 min. drive radius are several good restaurants for seefood available.

Terrific Accommodations

I stayed at the Gables of PEI for 2 nights while travelling with my wife and sister-in-law. We stayed in a King Villa. It had 2 bedrooms. The master had an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The other bedroom had cheater access to the main bath. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The furnishings were top notch. I liked that it was tiled throughout and that the couches were leather. It had a large covered porch with Muskoka chairs, a dining set and a barbeque. They have a café offering really good coffee at the resort. You can also get food in the café, but we didn't get a chance to try it. There are recreation facilities (pool, table tennis, etc.) at the resort, which we didn't get a chance to use. The recreation facilities are located quite a distance from where our villa was. I would recommend this resort highly to anyone staying in the area.

PEI Vacation with two teenagers.

I was very pleased with the accommodations. The villas were clean and spacious. Located in a great location - just steps away from the busyness.

Very nicely designed and decorated condo!

Two families had side by side condos which was very nice facing the woods! We were able to access the central part of the island easily from Charlottetown to the dunes in the north!

Modern Oasis

The Gables accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and has all the amenities of modern appliances for the traveler. Our two bedroom unit was well laid out and had lovely bedding. Having a patio and a bbq is also a great addition to the booking. One suggestion we would make is to provide coffee with the coffee machines in the kitchen. Our group also thought that cleaning the dishes should be part of housekeeping and not the responsibility of the guests. The location is great for golfers and those who wish to explore towns and beaches on the north shore of PEI.

Best ever!

This cottage style stay was the best ever. Very quiet & spacious with all the comforts of home. Beautiful scenery and very serene.

Great Gables Getaway!

Loved this stay. Clean, friendly and fun. The "walking trail" to the pool was quite a distance from our spot, so we drove down the second day. Packed a picnic and stayed at the pool. Boys loved it, and played tennis too. We liked the fact that is was close enough to Cavendish that we could pick up some groceries and cook our own food. Nice place.

Villa by Cavendish golf courses

My villa was a good size and modern and close to all the good golf courses in the Cavendish area.

Excellent place. Nice location. Condo very well equiped. It is the perfect place to relax.

Enjoyed staying here!

This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the area, quietness, and most of all Prince Edwards Island.

Nice new construction, few kinks to work out

The villa was clean and nicely decorated with several upgrades (stone counters, heated floors). We did experience a few issues which made our stay uncomfortable: 1) There was insufficient hot water; after 1 quick shower and washing dishes, there was NO hot water left. Due to the lack of hot water it was impossible to use the lovely double jetted tub in the ensuite; both days I tried to use it and the water went ice cold before the water level reached the bottom jet so I couldn't turn it on. After the first night my husband informed the front desk; we were told someone looked into it, however, we continued to have the problem. 2) The dishwasher didn't work (despite several attempts) so we had to hand wash dishes. 3) The BBQ grill was quite messy (rust and dirt) so we had to clean it up prior to use. 3) The WIFI did not work in the villa (only at the pool house and cafe). 4) The king bed in the ensuite was quite uncomfortable (there was a large lump down the middle of the bed). The next morning while making the bed I discovered the mattress was not actually a king mattress, rather two twins pushed together with a roll down the middle to cover the join...it was this roll that had not been laid flat creating a large lump...I fixed this and the second night was a much better sleep. I would stay at the villa again, however, would want to ensure I was assigned a villa with working dishwasher and hot water.

Close to everything

The resort is new and nicely laid out. The units (4 per building) are spacious and well appointed. We spent one evening at the salt water pool and club house. It is within 5 minutes of Cavendish beach and 45 minutes of Summerside and Brackley beach.

Dans la villa tout était parfait: la literie est exceptionnelle et les planchers de céramique reluisent de propreté. La terrssse et le BBQ sont impeccables. Cependant, l'accessibilité à la piscine est contraignante car il faut prendre la voiture ou traverser la forêt.
