Clean, quiet and convenient.

A comfortable clean room. Great shower. Cooling on heat pump was very efficient. Front desk dealt professionally with a small mishap that I had.

Extremely clean very well serviced all the ammenities that we require for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend Close to city eatery and shopping strip.

A real surprise of a Motel.

This Motel incorporates the Old with the New. We stayed in the fully refurbished Old part of the Hotel, It was really great with plenty of room, great bathroom, and great house guests. Good parking, and location has you are right in town..

A good nights sleep...

We had a two night stay, it was really great, we stayed in the old part of the Hotel which has been fully refurbished. There was plenty of room, great Air Conditioning, bathroom was a little small but otherwise ok. Staff were really great, helpful and friendly, café / restaurant located down stairs, so overhaul a great stay, and hopefully will stay here again.

So pleasant. Room was clean, spacious, had everything we needed. And it was quiet at night. Excellent!!

We had a great stay, beautiful accomodation and lovely staff. Excellent cafes and walking spots.

Booked this same day as we were arriving and we got a call to confirm plus discuss options around others from our group staying there. Check in was simple and they we very accommodating. Will stay there again next time.

Good location. Nice and clean. Shower design isn't great - shower itself is good, but shower water covers bathroom floor and spreads to carpet outside of bathroom - left a musty smell in the room despite the air fresheners.

A clean tidy room pleasent staff felt homley

Overall the property was excellent. It was let down by the quality of the bed. When staying in such a new complex i would have expected a lovely plush mattress. Instead we had a thin mattress that showed and felt every spring. It was not a comfortable night sleep. For that alone we will not stay again.

Great place to stay

Great location. Room was good albeit the family room was a tad on the small size and lacked bedside tables; and in particular lamps as the only light was in the ceiling which meant early bedtime for everyone.

Great place to stay! We had twin babies with us so this was super convenient and a great place to stay with kids. Check in was a breeze, parking was straight outside our room so we could unload easily. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again when we come next time! Thank you

Modern, clean, spacious, short distance to shops, restaurants, banks etc. Restaurant and Bar on site. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay after a long day of travelling.

We stayed upstairs this time, in one of the studios. Lovely and quiet and sunny, excellent and we will be back.

Was easy to find, right in the middle of town and close to every. Lovely rooms, nice bedding and big shower. Amazing historic building with a modern touch to it. Would recommend and stay there again.

Lovely and quiet eve though its right in the town centre area. Love the spacious unit and that they have thought about noise from below so offset the pods. Great place with lovely operator who was very helpful and understanding.

This place was convenient, had everything you needed. Was clean and tidy. We had baby as well and enough room for her to play around while we were there. It great and will be staying here again.

Excellent location in heart of Whakatane. Room was quiet as it was at the back of the property. Bedroom & bathroom spacious and had everything we required for an overnight stay.

Nice new, clean and tidy, location is very good too. the beds are too soft, the sheets too hard and thick feel like sleeping into two plastic sheets. But it’s good value for what I paid though.

Really bad shower pressure

Have stayed here a couple of times but in the newer container units and enjoyed staying in those rooms. The heritage rooms are smaller and top floor good for an overnight stay. Will stay again but only if newer studio unit is available.

The way it is constructed makes it very private. It was very cosy. The shower lip could be improved to stop water from travelling into the bathroom area and it would have been great if they could have extended the kitchenette to include a sink. Overall a good stay.

The best we have stayed in hands fown, absolutely perfect wee spot with everything that you need. Staff were brilliant oh and lil wee Oscar the dog was a highlight for us especially with his little security jacket on. Me and my daughters couldnt wait to see him in the morning, just beautiful, thank you the com plex amazing!! 5 star in my books!!

Was in Whakatāne for graduation. Fantastic hotel in a historic building. Staff was awesome and Oscar the dog was great my kids loved him. Great location close to town / shops. Tasty restaurant on the ground floor.
