Nice people and massage very good
A nice and clean hotel with a great spa!
Friendly staff, location was safe/central and it has basic amenities nearby.
My family and I have stayed here multiple times and have always had a great experience. It is newly renovated and clean. The staff there are very helpful as well. I recommend this place to all travelers.
Great hotel in great location
The staff, facilities and dining were all excellent. Attention to the airport transfer on arrival needs to be more professional. Otherwise, we would recommend to anyone.
The property and the ameities were in top condition, the staff was very curtious, in a good and quite area, breakfast was awesome.
Nice staff. Spa is convenient.
Breakfast for 2 was very expensive. Ripoff!! In Hanoi, you can go to a nice restaurant and pay half that or less and get better food.
great hotel
The breakfast is very expensive and terrible! I was charged $27 for breakfast for two people in a city where you can get a very good breakfast for two for less than $10. RIP OFF! DO NOT STAY HERE!
A lovely hotel
I like that is was close the old quarter
The location was great and the hotel was lovely. All the staff were fantastic and made our stay so memorable. Thank you ❤️
Outstanding staffing, professional and friendly but it took them more than 40 min to give us the clean towels that we requested. We booked an extra night, previous nights were with the Gate1 tour, and they wouldn't give us the breakfast buffer that we had with Gate 1. We could have booked at another hotel in the Old Qtr that was cheaper ($15 USD) and has better reviews. BTW, the breakfast buffer has fewer selections compared with other hotels that we stayed and the food quality was just average. I gave 3.5 stars mainly due to the outstanding staffing.
The staff was excellent but we had no air-conditioning so our room was extremely hot. Asked if they could turn the air on and they said they couldn't. Also we could not open the windows.
Good value for money with a very nice spa. Extremely helpful and attentive service.
We definitely recommend the Ann Hanoi
Our room was very nice. The staff very friendly and helpful during checkin, dining and checkout. Professional and curteous throughout our stay. Convenient location for sightseeing.
First I want to say that it’s a really nice hotel to stay at. It’s beautiful and spacious. The staff is also nice. BUT I don have to say that they are currently doing some renovations and it’s VERY loud. They even start at 8h45 am this morning. Renovation can be inevitable but they should tell us upon arrival. Not even a comment about it. Plus we had the room at the 10th floor as they do the construction at floor 11.. For compensation, they could offer a happy hour or discount at the restaurant.. nope. Nothing. They even make me pay my btl of water as I was checking out en mention that with all the trouble it would have been a minimum. Hopefully it will be finish soon cause otherwise I really like the hotel and I recommend it. Maybe just ask to be put on a lower floor or ask when they are working / or if it’s finish
Nice hotel undergoing some renovations Safe and clean. Nice staff.
Nice area.
It was fine, clean, simple, only 2 dishes on room service due to Covid. A good business style hotel. The pool area had a terrible view and was a little neglected but the gym looked good. For some reason when I was there, every time I was in reception (including check in and check out) there were probably 20 screaming kids playing there.
Good service, comfortable accommodation and really helpful management. Totally loved my experience. Location of the hotel is also good, since many major locations are mins away.
Couldn't fault the property, very clean, great facilities , nice hotel.
I was actually quite happy with our stay at the Ann Hanoi. This place felt fancy and the staff was extremely nice. They allowed me to break big bills (Vietnamese dong) just about every morning so I had easy walking around money. The bar was small but the staff their was accommodating and the drinks were quite good. Only two complaints I had were that the bed was a little too firm for my liking (but that’s just preference). The other was the breakfast. It was quite expensive for Vietnam standards at about $15 USD and it wasn’t very good. The breakfast buffet opened at 630am so it did make it very convenient to eat there prior to starting a tour or heading out for a long day. Just wish some of the options were as good as the food just outside the doors. My overall opinion, I’d definitely stay here again, I may just pass on the breakfast. Overall still, 5/5. The food at the bar was pretty good. It was just breakfast that I didn’t care for. Just lacked a little flavor and variety.
Great and Affordable Hotel. Approx $3 AUD for a Taxi to Old Quarter. (2km away) Staff are very helpful and speak good English. Can not fault this hotel, except for the Breakfast Buffet, not the best, but plenty of places to eat around the hotel.
Staffs are very helpful and friendly , clean room , good facilities , near with shopping area .Overall very good
quite neighborhood, convenient store right across the road.
The staff were so friendly and they made sure that we had everything we needed. The room was so clean and spacious and we loved how light the room felt with the glass walls in the bathroom. The only downside was that there were only 4 sunloungers around the poolside so one couple had to give the pool a miss
Good price to be able to get a little bit of luxury in Hanoi!
Lovely, clean rooms. Reception and door staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a little bit out of the centre (which was nice for us to be out of the real hustle bustle!) and will take about 25-50 minutes to walk to the main attractions, but you can get a taxi for around 60,000 dong. The pool was lovely when it got really hot and humid in the afternoons.
I liked staying at the Ann Hotel because it was located in an area where you can walk to most if the inner city activities or was only a short cab ride. I also like the staff they were very courteous and helpful. The only problem I had was the a/c system....I would set the temperature at 22 and it would for some reason go up to 26....I notified the staff and the problem was corrected!
Very helpful staff. Condition is starting to show signs of wear. Location is decent but not ideal in terms of dining and entertainment options.
This is a very nice hotel, clean and pleasant, and centrally located.
Would not recommend.
The best thing about the hotel is the front desk staff, really nice and friendly. The “premium room” was shocking. Seemed very out dates and old. One day I got towels which stunk of smoke. Maid service was very good and was very slow, I got back late afternoon and the maid service still hadn’t been. I asked for a late checkout and they said it was be 75% of a nights stay! The windows where you supposedly had a “city view” were filthy. WiFi would cut out towards the corner of the room/in bed. Gym was pretty poor. Breakfast was okay. Location however is very bad, in the middle of nowhere. Lastly although the bath is big, it took 1hr 30min to fill it, the water pressure is so low for both shower and bath. Couldn’t believe it took that long to fill. Mini bar was laughable.
Quite nice. just on thing it was a bit far from old quarter.
Good Value
The front desk and people working in the lobby were excellent. The location was a bit difficult to walk to as it is not on a main street.
Staffs are courteous and helpful. Hotel is nice and clean. Location is good enough for me.
Excellent
excellent, good hotel, high quality, friendly staff, very helpful, easy checkin, restaurant good and gym new equipment and lots of equipment, pool good, walking to lake, puppet show. would recommend and stay again
The Staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work. There is some eatery place nearby can try and is min price the most 30k VD. Nice and acceptable with vegetable. Did not take the Hotel breakfast that cost US$15.00. I think Hotel should suggest to restarant price maybe US$7 with stay packages and mixed western food with local Vietnam noodle or rice.
I really couldn't find any negative thing about The Ann. Room, dinning, swimming pool, Stuff were all excellent for my three day stay. I am difinitely coming back. Khoi and the stuff at reception, thanks for the friendly service.
Good hotel-excellent staff. In French Quarter-walkable to Old Town- about 30 minutes. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
The Ann Hanoi Staff are wonderful! The breakfast buffet was so delicious. We only stayed here four days while visiting friends but it's a beautiful hotel and we had help getting our Taxi's set-up for the day. The door guys even helped us cross the streets and was protective of us! We highly recommend this hotel & would stay again. They also love kids!!
The staff were very very friendly. Particularly the bell boy named Hai. He recommended some fun places to shop and a trip to Ning Binh. Room set up and facilities are comfortably familiar as most international chain hotels. The housekeeping services leave the room spotless. Hotel location is a couple of minutes walk away from the old quarter but situated on a relatively calm street. Tonnes of good food nearby with a circle k just opposite.
Excellent hotem
Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Short taxi ride away from the market. The hotel let us use the facilities even after we had checked out as our flight was late
Really nice, clean hotel. Good location & lovely staff!
Central hotel with all the expected facilities and levels of comfort for price.
Good quality hotel
Nice modern hotel with good facilities. The best thing about it was the double glazed windows. After a few weeks of the all night noise that is Vietnam it was nice to get a good nights sleep!
Nice hotel, some room for improvements
Pros: - quiet on higher floors - very comfortable room - clean and very functional bathroom - great bar facility - excellent gym facilities - porters were quick to help and friendly! - clean facilities all over Cons: - Diep at check-in was not very friendly. We were not greeted at all, which we found very unusual for Vietnam. The first words we heard on arrival were “passports” - there was no please.. this was a bit upsetting. Even after this we asked “how are you?”, we received nothing just a small smile and “passports” - towels very old and smelt unpleasant - all the umbrellas by the pool were broken, so no shade - items missing from mini bar (although we were not charged) - 25 mins to old quarter by foot Would recommend to friends and family. I think perhaps some staff just having an off day - this I can understand!
Great hotel in Hanoi, highly recommend
Staff great, food great, rooms nice, no problems, stay
Lovely staff and very clean and comfortable room. The area around doesn’t have much but it’s a quick ride to the sights and more bustly areas.
Nice hotel.
Nice accomodations, clean. The staff is very friendly and breakfast buffet is very diverse and good.
Explore Hanoi
Great location, within walking distance to the French Quarter, the old Quarter.
Great hotel in central location
Hotel is of excellent standard for a 4* and staff were friendly and helpful. While not quite s 5* it is good value for overall facilities and comfort level.
Beautiful quiet hotel by the old quarter
Spacious luxurious and clean room. We especially appreciated the silence after a day out in the busting and noisy old quarter. Excellent food too, worth the try! Nice view from the pool terrace.
Quiet motel with helpful staff
Excellent included breakfast with food for different nationalities. Very helpful door staff who went out of their way to give directions. A quieter area than in town and only $3 taxi ride into town.
The smaller hotels in Hanoi offer better value
Most of the staff in the restaurant were good but were told by one guy that we couldn't sit where we wanted for breakfast as he was getting the tables ready for lunch.....that was at 0915hrs......
Ann Hanoi Comfy stay
Great little Hotel The staff were friendly & very helpful. Room comfy & bed amazing.
Nice facilities
Very friendly staff and great facilities. The price could have been better though.
5+
Very helpful and accommodating concierge, area has a lot to offer and rooms are spacious
Very good hotel but away from main sites
We booked a few nights at The Ann at the end of a trip through Vietnam. The room was extremely spacious, well equipped and had the biggest bed ever seen!. The view was disappointing (but I'm not convinced Hanoi has many great hotel views!) The hotel is located about 1-2 miles from the old quarter, in a quieter part of Hanoi. Whilst this was great if you wanted to be close to the embassy's, it was a bit of a walk to see the main tourist sites. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. We didn't have breakfast, and 15usd per person, this was extremely expensive by Vietnamese standards. The hotel obviously caters for business travelers rather than tourists. Having said that, it was a very good stay.
Great comfort in a less flattering location
Great property, except if you're looking to buy water or snacks, you're in for a loooong walk.
Nice hotel. Very nice. Good service. Nice breakfast and you can order food to your room very nice.
Centre and close to town
A great stay
Clean hotel slightly out of the old town
Clean hotel slightly out of the old town. A few local eating establishments around but otherwise plenty of more western fare cafes and restaurants. 15min walk to the Opera House and Lake.
Beautiful Hotel
The stay was at this business hotel feels great! Bed was comfortable but it is a little far away from the old quarter. We checked in really late so there's still 1-2 restaurant opened opposite. Not fantastic but enough to ease our hunger.
handy to everything
everything was 5 star. staff was very helpful. the rooms and facilities were of the highest standard
Decent price stay, nice hotel
It was a very nice stay, staffs are very nice, room is very spacious than i expected. Housekeep very good. The other thing surprise me was the room service, the food is very nice and its cheap! I picked this hotel becoz of the pool unfortunately the weather is pretty cool so no chance to use it, will definitely come back again.
Cleanliness of Linens...
I stayed there with my husband for 3 nights for holiday. The hotel was a bit apart from the city centre and the area does not have much people walking on street which made us hesitate to walk to hotel but always grab a taxi. It was okay for us as Uber network is quite developed in Hanoi. The inside of the room was nicely tidied up and the facilities were new, but there were some issues in towels and bath robes. Those somewhat had smokey smell (I wondered if the laundry staff smokes during his/her work because it was not only one time nor one single item) and had sallowness with some discoloration spots remained. I bet it was fully washed but probably bleach was never used. Also, it was hard to accept that the bath robes that we used previous night were just hanged back to the bathroom door without changing (unfortunately I could tell because the robe also had a discoloration spot on the front side). The reception staff were very friendly and considerate as others also commented, but I could not help feeling some wonders to those cleaning things, which makes me a bit difficult to recommend this hotel to my friends.
Superb service. Good location. Great local food nearby. Room is clean and quiet. But bed is slightly hard and there could be minor improvement by getting rid of the smell in toilet. Didn't bother me much though.
bad guests service, new room
the front desk service was very pour, not friendly nor helpful and had no interest in giving guests good experiene. The hotel is far from the old quarter, in the evening it is very hard to get taxi.
Well located hotel
Almost fantastic. Most staff were first class. Unfortunate incident with incorrect charges applied by front desk which I did get resolved to my satisfaction eventually. However no apology received. Uninspiring breakfast. Lovely pool. Slightly too far out of the old quarter.
Value for money
Great value, nice and clean with good breakfast offering especially the pho. A bit away from Old Quarter but a short taxi ride away. Would recommend
Away from the hustle & bustle
Lovely hotel & room but bit far from the centre of hanoi (old quarter).
Great service
Friendly helpful always with a smile. Had a great stay at the hotel
Nice hotel
One night stop over before flying out. Arrived late and left early. Staff very attentive. Lovely buffet breakfast, huge choice.
Excellent
Well functioning, fantastic helpful and friendly staff. High cleaning standard. The staff takes when possible time to talk with you if you wish - to me that is maybe the most important. In that sense you feel warmly welcome and also get interesting information of the country and the life in Ha Noi. Will recommend to anybody.
awesome hotel
great amenities with awesome views of mountains & beach 180 degrees view. fantastic & convinient location & with pleasant staff
Very good and staff are very welcoming
Overall it's a wonderful hotel all the staff are very friendly and the room was perfect
Great location away from main city but not too far
Staff very friendly. Gym, pool and sauna all excellent. Would stay here again.
Lovely hotel, gym and staff. I would say it is a great place to stay and a must see.
Friendly city hotel
High quality, exceptional staff, spacious comfortable room, would highly recommend
Nice hotel but a little far from everything
We chose this hotel evem though it was not in old quarter because it was a good proce and had nice amenities. The shower had mold and I requested it to be cleaned but it never happened. I would not expect to see mold since the hotel is only a year old. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help with everything else. The pool was very nice and the two times we used it we were the only ones. It's a 7 min taxi ride to old quarter but a little too long to walk in the heat.
Great hotel, new and clean.
Nice hotel 15 minute walk to Lake.
Restaurant was excellent. Excellent, helpful staff.
Boutique hotel at affordable price
We were very impressed with our stay at the Ann Hanoi. The hotel was the perfect mix of luxury, value, ammenities, service and attention. The location is convenient to all major attractions, the neighborhood provides all the fine restraurants, pubs, fruit stands and shops you want. The rooms are beautifully and completely outfitted with top of the line bedding and all the other ammenities, electronics etc. that you would expect from a upper end boutique hotel. They will lend you bicyles for free to tour the local attractions and the roof top pool has absolutely fantastic views of Hanoi, day or night. The single best feature of this hotel is the staff which is always available, friendly and knowledgeable with perhaps the most genuine attention of any hotel during our trip in Vietnam. They even drew us maps and wrote notes in Vietnamese for us to show to the locals during our bicycle outting. And they directed us to some of the best vietnamese food on our visit. The best part was that all of this was delivered at a very reasonable price. It was a boutique hotel at a budget price. I highly recommend the Ann Hanoi for your stay in Hanoi. PS. Avoid the restaurant directly across the street from the hotel. The "Beer Vuon Dao" looks convenient, clean and upscale but both the food and service is the worst of the entire trip. They don't have any of beers they advertise, the staff can't speak any english and even pointing to the food picture on the menu it still took them
Beautiful hotel and comfortable bed
First time in Hanoi, this is a very busy city with a lot going on. Never see so much traffic and people but everyone seems has no problem getting around! Amazing!!!
Great Stay in Hanoi
The staff is very polite, the rooms are nice (little small) and the bathrooms are beautiful. The included breakfast was very good too.
Great Hotel
Great room and hotel, with a nice sauna, hot tub and pool. Very comfortable. Had several english TV channels. Mostly great staff also.
More than 30 minutes walking to Emperor City
Great boutique hotel. The staff are really lovely and will do anything for you. You can also use the facilities of their higher class sister hotel which was nice. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Only downside for us, is that the room walls are very thin, so if you get noisy people next to you, it leads to less sleep and a grumpy husband!
Nice property, worth every penny
Decent location with two nice local restaurants across the street. Great hotel. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Best value, happy stay!
We stayed in premium room and paid AUD 110. The staffs were extremely professional and helpful, the room was clean and large enough to accommodate for two. We had a room service and had the best fruit platter (watermelon and dragon fruits) in Hanoi. I definitely recommend this hotel as it gives you the best value for what you pay for. I'll use this hotel again.
Great hotel. good Location, we walked to town, about 15mins. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Hotel has a good gym and pool (although wasn't the time of year to swim). Would highly recommend this hotel for the price.
Nice little hotel in Hanoi
As promised and very nice.
Recommended!
Perfect and as always in Vietnam; very helpful staff! The only minus, but they are working on it, is that the wifi keeps playing up.
Great hotel, great pool, firm bed.
Bed was very firm but the staff were excellent. The pool is awesome with a great view and the reataurant is very good. Staff in the reataurant are outstanding.
My first experience in Hanoi
I felt welcome after long travel, room was ready (before noon already). Room was not big, but very nice and tidy. Personnell very helpful and nice..

Loved the location and the room was wonderful
