advertised as resent updates only thing i seen newish was 5 year old paint. still same tubs and sinks from the day it was built probably 30 years ago. old carpets i would say smells of pets never anyone at front desk had to call on phone to get to the desk for assistance. double charged me i had to explain to them what happened to get charges reversed. and charge $100 damage deposit that i never knew they were going to do and they do not refund for 3 to 4 days after checkout

The only reason I took one star off this time is the hot tub still isn’t in working condition. Winter is the time to be in a hot tub. Other than this, everything was great. Clean, friendly staff, very accommodating. I still do think the continental breakfast is just fine.

Pet friendly, quiet, excellent prices

The bathroom was dirty! Mold in the shower and the shower curtain had a very musty smell. Much smaller room size than we expected, pictures are deceiving.

Great stay! The staff were very kind and check in was a breeze. They have a pre-check in feature that makes it even easier where you can also add on an early check in or late check out. Breakfast was standard for continental but everything was fresh and continuously stocked with fresh bread and bagels. We stayed in the hot tub suite and was well worth the money - it was a lovely stay-cation and we will definitely be back to enjoy the Super 8 on the Hill again!!

Only thing I wish it had was guest laundry.

My room was awesome as it was the Hot Tub suite. The room was very spacious, even with a hot tub in it.

Convenient to get to, clean rooms , good price.

I must say how clean the room was. White tiles and a white bathtub shower combo and it was white, very clean. The towels were plush, mini dove soap, and the little conditioner & shampoo, etc. The beds were comfortable and once our room was heated then so were we. Same old TV channels, basically nothing to watch. We only used our own cellular data so I can’t comment on the wifi. I noticed it had chrome cast. I don’t use google. There is no elevator but you can stay on the bottom floor. Although if you want to use the modest gym you’ll have to climb a small amount of stairs. Same for the continental breakfast. Which by the way is pretty good. Juice, different cereals, coffee, tea, etc. A couple of waffle irons. Lots of tables. I was disappointed that the hot tub was down for maintenance on our visit but we did go down to look. It’s quite big and looks clean down there. Shower and bathroom. But things do need maintenance every now and again. I know we’ll be staying again so I hope it’s on by then. The staff was very nice. Checking in & out. Always friendly and helpful if you need something. It could use a few take out menu’s because there aren’t a lot of restaurants near by. But we will be back because it had everything we needed.

Hard to find. Our gps wouldn’t accept the address given on your reservation. Tried the phone no. for directions but poor connection as couldn’t hear; so finally asked strangers for guidance. Ran short of patience after driving 8 hours to get here.

I needed a quick place to stay with my pet on a trip across BC and this hotel met the needs. It is not fancy, but is clean and easy to get to right off the highway. It has easy access to restaurants and gas stations and is a good choice for a quiet night sleep while travelling.

The hot tub was down for maintenance. It’s hard to exit the parking lot. You can only turn right. Can’t drive across the road to the gas station. But mostly good!

Everything looks good

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, it's normally my favorite place to stay but the last 2 times not so much and deffinetly not happy this last time. So I do t normally complain about little thing cause it happens but our last stay we paid for the Jacuzzi suit which have stayed a number of times prior, the Jacuzzi had soap scum , hair and black mold around the jets, I took pictures even, it wasemt a oops forgot a jet it was just clearly not cleaned and probably times prior. We payed 160$ and couldn't use the tub.

Unfortunately I had had a fall in Banff and booked this hotel for a stopover on my road trip back to Vancouver. It was just off the highway and had easy access to shops and food outlets. I requested an accessible room which was accommodated. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Unfortunately the breakfast room was upstairs so i was unable to partake in food as I couldn’t gain access to the room. My husband grabbed me some fruit so all ok. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here. Thank you for helping me out.

Bedbugs

I had bed bugs in my mattress which I found on the second day so had to move to a different room which had two beds so upon checkout they wanted me to pay extra for the room upgrade

Odd acess

Stayed for 6 nights, cleaning staff never changed bedding. Picked up towels every second day.

Good value, polite staff

Location was good with easy access from and to the major highways. We had to have staff come in to get our TV running, but the service was provided right away.

Very little parking because work trucks were taking up multiple parking spots. That is the reason I did not give 5 stars.

Some areas of this property have been renovated and other have not. Why use carpet? So dirty. Fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet would improve my rating.

The room was very modern, staff very friendly, bed very comfortable, I slept like a baby. The amenities are Dove products, so a good brand. They have a decent size breakfast bar with lots to choose from for food and the coffee was decent. I would definitely be back again if I need to stay in Kamloops. Close to shopping as well and a variety of restaurants nearby.

Great stay as usual. Hotel is showing its age but still a very nice place to stay.

We appreciated having a room very close to the office as my wife uses a walker for mobility. We also appreciated the excellent help from a staff member who helped us figure out the TV control system. Room was quiet and comfortable. An excellent shower facility.

I liked everything about this property. The pre check in was smooth and easy and the Staff at the front desk were very polite when I picked up my room key. The Room itself was awesome!!!

The hotel looked old and dated for the price. The rooms looked like that had been partially updated and by that I meant new paint but fixtures were old, sprinkler system in bathroom was all covered in rust and the sink was so low and out dated. The fridge made a humming noise that kept me awake off and on throughout the night. I just thought compared to all the hotels we looked at in a similar price range I thought it would have been much better

Competitively priced for the overall quality, no complaints. There is no elevator so you may want to get a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage.

We really like staying there. We stayed one week and after three days had to ask for more towels and the room was never cleaned again for 4 days after that.
