Tv didnt work, smoke detector detatched, toothbrush hanging from outside of door when we got there huge crack and paint chipping in bathroom room 107

The whole place was kind of dirty and we saw a cockroach on the TV stand.

We arrived around 9pm. Check in was smooth and easy. Staff was very friendly and chatty. We watched tv for a bit then got ready for bed. Toilet seat lid fell off the toilet as it was not connected. There was no toilet paper, or Kleenex, only two towels and one hand towel. When I went to call front desk the greasy/dirty phone did not even work. Could not call the front desk. We had lots to Kleenex in our own bags so we used that for toilet paper. We were already in PJ/s so didn't bother going back down to the desk. Would not recommend.

The desk people were very friendly, breakfast could have been better

Bed bugs

We just needed a place to stay the night as we were moving halfway across the country. We had our 2 dogs with us. We had to pay almost as much as the room was for our dogs. Normally I would understand this however my dogs were cleaner and smelled better than the room itself.

Stay away from here

The facility needs shut down and updated. They only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. We reserved 2 rooms but they only showed 1. We showed our confirmation but they made us pay for another room anyway.

Quiet,clean, fast internet

My room was in the back of the hotel. I could smell smoke. I thought it was a smoke gilled hotel.The wifi came and went. The tv had no good stations

Daughter found a hidden camera connected to recording device. Daughter reported it to authority. Ripped sheets, dirty old not maintained facilities. Was too scared to call police cause we had no where to go at that time of night. Placed chair in front of door. Mattresses were really old and stained as well as bedding had bought my own blanket and pillows we both slept in clothes and sealed them in bags did not see bed bugs but took pectins do to unsanitary conditions. Place smelled of indian cooking when you first came in but room smelled really bad but could not tell you what the smell was. Other hotel Inusualy stayed at smells of indian cooking when you come in but that hotel is completed clean. Was really freaked and scared about the hidden camera disconnected everything we could find. Expedia indicated it was 4 out of 5 stars so did not look for other reviews except when we found camera and were in room for a bit and noticed just how bad it was then looked up reviews elsewhere that indicated worst place to stay at don’t stay there also indicating bed bugs 17 days before our stay. Took a lot of precautions with clothes and shoes just in case for bed bugs cause it takes over $4000 to get rid of bed bugs as have worked win fire dept having to del with them on inspections. Felt really unsafe with finding video camera afraid of bed bugs and left daughter there alone which freaked me out. 2 worst stay at a hotel in my 55 years and I am not that picky

Horrid smell. No toilet paper holder, old socks on floor. Unpainted patches on wall. Overall a total disappointment

Concert was canceked but we couldnt cancel the room. Warch out you might get stuck paying for a room you didnt use like we did.

This place was very dated and needs lots of work. Carpet is dirty the bathroom was not clean and the mattress had holes in the edges I should have taken pictures!

What a dump!

Very dirty. Smelled like sewage and very outdated. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

First our room. There was a plastic bag over the fire alarm and paper stuffed in the exhausted vent in the bathroom, toilet seat was lose, husband tightened. No washclothes. We rented room for two days. We left for a few hours came back to our door being propped open and nobody around, when I went to desk I was told there was cameras and the cleaning staff were very trust worthy. NOT TO WOORY. When I went back to room, the cleaning staff was right outside in hall, and I said our room did not need cleaning that we were staying another night and they could not understand a word we said. Breakfast area was not clean, doors at end of hallways propped open by towels. Other patrons complainng about bugs in rooms and being moved several times. If it was not for every room in the vincinty being booked I would have left after walking in. The room also smelled to where we had to open window to air out. There was rings in the bathtub where you could tell it had not been cleaned poperly as well as the shower curtain not taken down and washed. There were not fitted sheets on the bed only two top sheets and a matress pad laying on top of matress. A matresss that was equally as filthy. Again if there had been other rooms or even warmer out where we could have slept in car we would have left. Owners need to clean and update.

Room looked nice and big. Bed was awful and we both didn't sleep well. No decaf coffee in room or in breakfast area. Not much to eat period.

Good place to stay

The rooms were dirty! Mirrors were filthy as well as the dink! The furniture was broken! The clicker to the tv was misskng! The carpet was sticky! The pictures that should of been on the ealls were on the floor! The room was gross!

Bed bug

We stayed one night as we awoke i found a bed bug cralling across my sheets. I mashed it it was full of blood. I went to the desk immediately. They acted like no big deal. We checked out went to a different hotel. The room had carpet that had bleach stains. When you sat on the toilet it rocked, side to side. The bed you could feel the springs beneath you. The tv wouldnt turn on. The back of the remote was missing. I never got a refund either. I wish we would have taken pictures.

Dirty, broken, everything

It was filthy and unsafe and the staff lied to our face about not being charged after we saw the condition of the room and decided not to stay.

Don’t waste your $$ on this one..

When we first arrived no one was at the desk. Before going into the room I requested 2 extra pillows I was told “there are no extra pillows or extra anything”..when we got into the room there was a terrible smell , like wet carpet and a musty smell. In one corner it looked like they were using the room as storage. The chair was stained, as was the couch and the carpet had what looked like burns in different spots. Also the tv would only display “no signal” when trying to turn it on. I tried calling the front desk to ask for assistance, no one answered. The bed was a King size bed, 3 pillows 1 was completely flat. The 2 other pillows were lumpy. The bottom sheet wasn’t a fitted sheet it was just a flat sheet laid on the mattress, every time I moved it would expose the mattress which was dirty. The bathroom fan had a screech to it until it warmed up or something, it screeched for a good 2 minutes before it stopped. When we travel that way again, definitely won’t be staying there. Normally Super 8 is an amazing hotel to stay in, we’ve stayed in many, in different states and never had issues like this.

This was the most disgusting motel that I have ever been to. And I've been to some stinkers. We opened the door to our room, looked in then left and got a room at the Holiday Inn Express. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. That way you won't be oit the $100 that I am.

Bathroom was dirty and so were windows. Toothpaste all over sink and faucet. Lots of hair in tub and toilet was not clean. Staff sent up someone to clean. They were there 2 minutes and left. The cleaned the toilet but left everything dirty. We had our own sanitary wipes to finish the job,

Telephone didn't work, TV didn't work properly, room was borderline on cleanliness, not much of a selection for breakfast.

We did not stay because there were bed bugs. We had to go somewhere else. They said in order to get a refund I had to contact Expedia. That was a complete hassle and I have not received a refund.

Was assigned to a room that was already occupied. Then another room that had not been cleaned. When I finally got a room that was "cleaned", found roaches in the bathroom in the morning. Rooms were in terrible state of repair

Older hotel needs updated. Staff was slow checking us in and originally gave us a room with two doubles. We got her to change it to the king size bed that we booked. Bed was decent.

This was a good cheap stay

Older hotel that needs updated decor such as nightstands, chairs, dressers and some minor repairs. Our door flip lock was broken off the door. The lampshades need replaced. (We stayed in 120) Comfortable beds but pillows are child sized. Breakfast was waffles, yogurt, cereal and toast and coffee. No juice or milk. The man at the desk was AMAZING!! Very friendly and helpful. Our coffee maker was not in our room and he brought us a brand new one still in the box!! If updated this hotel would fill up fast due to desk clerk and it's location. For a place to sleep and leave it is perfect for 1 night. Really hope suggestions are put in effect because it's, safe, quiet and convenient just not nice enough to stay more than a night

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. When we got into the room it smelled awful, the sofa sleeper was collapsed and the bed did not have a mattress pad and there was dried vomit on it. We left and were refused a refund.

The rooms were shocking, tv remote did not work, tv had no picture except for pink and green colors over the screen. Coffee maker but nothing to drink out of. Would nor recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Furnishings were so worn and outdated. Staff person was nice but conditions so bad that we did not stay the night there. Rooms need completely redone including the walls. Linens were clean but that is the only positive

We didn't even stay there after seeing the room. No mattress covers so you could see mattress and it was filthy. Never even took our stuff out of the car

We only saw one person. He was helpful and responsive to our needs, but a smile would be nice. Breakfast was dismal.. toast, but only butter. No peanut butter or jam. No fruit. But the price was low. We slept fine and the plumbing worked!

Not very organized. Had to ask for clean towels. Bed was POOR! First room, no tv. We were there for 3 nights and had to turn in key everyday. No card pass, KEY. Needs to be up dated, get rid of carpet in rooms. Was disappointed in Super 8!

Property needs updated

Staff was very pleasant.

My first night I found bed bugs, they put me in another room, still didn’t feel clean. Everything needs replacing or repaired. The beds are as lumpy as the pillows, wouldn’t even think of sitting on the couch. The 1990’s are long gone, update your facilities.

I liked the convenience

Have stayed here many times over the years. Always quiet and clean. Showing a little wear now, but still very acceptable. I will definitely stay again.

The property was ok considering how many motels we stay at when we’re on tour where we just have to get a quick 6 hours of sleep and shower and bail. I have a pet peeve about tissues in the bathroom and there were none. I will tip my hat to the attendant for waiting for us to arrive there SUPER late. Again we stay in a lot of cheaper motels on the road and this is no better not worse than most for a quick crash…

The first room they showed us was terrible. Carpeting all ripped up, fan hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom and bed very low to the ground. We complained and they gave us a better room which was better. Carpet was newer and it looked cleaner. I wouldn't stay more than one night

First room had broken toilet seat. Second room had tv problems and toilet didn't flush right.

Cable didn’t work in the room, couch was not usable as a couch but the pull out bed works

You get what you pay for. There were stains on the carpet, the tub floor looked filthy, the chair had stains all over it, there were lumps under the carpet, the bed covering was thin, and the furniture is way outdated and mismatched!

WiFi didn’t work even with being so close to the front desk. Could see screws in the hallway screwed into ceiling tiles. We didn’t even have a fitted sheet on the bed, just a top sheet laid across the bed. Trash behind the bed and nightstands. Would have spent more money to be closer to the destination than go back to this hotel

this will be the finest 2 star you will stay at. the rooms/building is very dated and the king bed was not comfortable. the t,v also was dated but i managed to find the new channel. the remote did not work. no usb plugs in the room and the wifi password i was given did no work. the good parts were that the owners were very nice and it was close to the event is was attending. you get what you pay for.

Business trip . Most unpleasant trip . Hotel was dirty and smelt of dog pee . Furnitures looked old and dirty . Tv in slotted room did t even work . Had to be moved to a different room . Shouldn’t be in hotels .com . Most certainly does not meet standard.

Our room smelled like something had rotted in it. It was hot and humid the AC worked but wasn't powerful enough to cool the room. Location is convenient though stores and restaurants really close by and open late for dinner.

The carpet in the room was filthy; our feet were actually blackened walking barefoot. The mattress was pretty much like a trampoline, the bathroom was clean and the ac was awesome!! Cigarette burns in bedspread, pillows ok, bottom sheet not fitted but flat sheet.

Room was fine and it felt safe enough for a single female traveler. The tv in my room didn’t work which made for a boring evening. The air was cold and the sheets were clean. Lots of noisy guests from 10pm-midnight until I fell asleep…. Lots of banging doors and chatter in the halls. Probably wouldn’t stay again

The tv didn’t work we had damp towels to dry off with the carpet felt disgusting to walk on the tub wouldn’t drain when taking a shower, the so called free breakfast bar was a couple bagels and cereal the waffles were ok, overall would not recommend this hotel to no one!!

There are no words to express how bad this was. Everything, I mean everything was bad. To cap it all off, the batter for the waffle for breakfast, was sour. They are going to keep on until they poison someone. Avoid.

Do not waste your money

The room when we arrived was so dirty. Panels and trim falling off and the couch was ripped. The floors werent even vacuumed. I left and went ahead and drove 4 hours home.

The carpet was stained and unclean. The TV remote did not work even after changing the batteries. People out sude rhe door all night long; couldnt sleep. Missed breakfast because of the overnight commotion.

The AC dont work and we trying to call the front desk it takes a while they amswer it and everytime we tell them the issue they hang up with us and its 3 times happened..instead 2 nights stay we only consume 8 hrs and leave there.TERRIBle and dirty.

Property is dated and dirty. None of the furniture matches, bedding looks like it was taken off the street, very stained and smelled badly. Everything smells from the carpet to the lobby and halls. All the windows outside look tampered with. A very creepy vibe and I felt unsafe all night long. Sadly I had driven for 9 hours and was exhausted and had already spent the money my budget for the this trip is limited and I have 2 more openings stops or else I would have left immediately. Looks like a place to go to do illegal activities. My only pro is the young lady at the check in was very kind. Place should be shut down.

Clean quiet for being next to the till road you wouldn't know it's there close to Lagrange and Sturgis I'll stay there every time I would like to know if I decided to stay on monthly base if needed I would

Wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel desperately needs to be updated, cleaned and new furniture brought in. The chair that was in our room actually had dirt and stains on it. Quit honestly, if I had know it was a Super 8 we would never have booked it. It said it was a Wyndham. And that’s how they advertised it. But I do need to add that the bed was clean and comfortable.

My first room was the worst I’d ever seen. Stained floor, AC didn’t work, couch torn apart, too much furniture. The 2nd room didn’t have a security lock on the door

Sofabed was broken down and didn’t have a mattress, phone had no cord to plug in wall, rug had cigarette burns everywhere and was stained,furniture was sun damaged, screen on window was slashed, remote for tv some buttons wouldn’t work

Do not stay here

When we walked in I thought we were staying in a hostel. It looked dirty and dated. We went to our room and it was even worse in there. We had no other option so we decided to stay. Our friends however decided to leave and drive 3 hours home. The smoke detector had no batteries and a sticker on it that read “edible body oils.” My bed skirt had burn holes in it. The remote control was covered in filth so much so that we didn’t turn the TV on. The breakfast came with nothing to drink besides coffee and tea. Not ideal for kids. Finally, I woke up to bed bugs last night. Run away from this place

Room dirty!!!! There were dirty towels on the floor, stains on the comforter, a completely busted couch, badly stained carpet and the worst, bed bugs!!! This place should be shut down! There is no way they should be allowed to charge people for that mess!!!!

It needs improvement

The room wasn't clean. It seemed like the previous guest had used the bed sheets and pillowcases. The sofa was broken, and the carpet was dirty. It needs improvement.

Dirty bed

Bed spread was very dirty and the bed skirt was very dirty the top covers were clean but the rest of the bed wasn’t

A very good stay for the price. Check in was quick and easy, staff was very accommodating. Plenty of parking and shopping and dining 10 minutes away. Property is older but clean and AC works great. I would stay again.
