good price, room was clean

You decide

The good: friendly and helpful people. The breakfast bar was fine: very good biscuits and sausage gravy, cereals, yogurt, orange juice dispenser, milk, coffee/creamers and a nice area to eat in and watch TV. The parking was ample, and fairly well lit. The place seemed to be busy and was pretty quiet, even being located by a busy highway. There is a Wal Mart and some restaurants quite close. The bad: my mattress was absolutely trashed out. The room should have been off limits until they got a new one. The room was dirty--the cleaning people obviously didn't use the crevice tool to vacuum the carpeted baseboard area, it was filthy dusty dirty. There was a used cup and napkin on the floor. There were greasy fingerprints on the side of the microwave. There were some long, black hairs on the bathroom floor (I'm bald). There was no soap in the bathroom, had to go fetch some at the front desk. The floor lamp in the main room was absolutely filthy dusty. And what was also bad is that there was a card for housekeeping on a room desk with a QR code that you can use and give them a tip! Even though my room was $78 a night, it should have basic cleaning done.

Dated property but the staff generally greeted you with a smile and were helpful.

Good rates, clean & very great service

The folks at the front desk were great - very helpful and friendly, and every time I walked past they were cleaning or organizing their work area, helping guests, etc (i.e. they were WORKING) When we settled into the room it appeared there was a dirty spot on the table. It turns out a previous guest had probably overheated a plate and that had warped the finish, but the table (and room) was clean. But we didn't know that at first glance, and when we called the front desk the lady came down immediately to clean it. She worked her behind off, and was very apologetic - even though it really wasn't her fault. I don't care about a blemish on the table surface; I care about good service in a clean hotel. This hotel delivered good service in a clean and quiet hotel where they made my wife and I feel like welcome guests. Well done!

Great place to stay

The staff was great. She did everything she could to help. Cons: 1. The fire detector kept going off. She replaced the battery then finally just took the device. 2. The wind in the area kept setting cars off in the parking lot. So my sleep was poor. 3. The thing that grossed me out was the floor. I don’t think anyone vacuumed before I got there. There was quite a bit of hair everywhere and I couldn’t walk around without shoes on. PROS. 1. The bed was clean, no bed bugs. 2. The breakfast was good. I enjoyed hard boiled eggs and oranges and hot coffee. 3. I felt safe. 4. The water was hot and there were lots of lamps so I could enjoy whatever level of light I desired

The desk girl on duty today and tonight was exceptionally kind and thoughtful and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable!

Don’t you dare go to this hotel

This room is totally unacceptable with the carpet not vacuumed and needing it bad- safety lock on the door was broken- phone in the room didn’t have a cord in it from the wall like a prop phone. Looks like a phone but it’s just a prop for a movie or something. Bed was hard and the actual spring of the mattress all pushing up through the bed sheet. I left immediately- so gross and smelled like old linens from the 1960’s or older.

Truly a great place and Wonderful staff.

Well, I needed a place to stay and this place came highly recommended. When I got there, I was a little concerned. It looked a little rundown from the outside, but I think it was just the environment and things just need a few patches here and there. Once you go into the building, you are greeted by absolutely wonderful staff. They offer cheese and crackers, popcorn, and a wonderful breakfast. Very Hospital very accommodating. It is clean and granted it's an older building. My little room was perfect. The staff was absolutely lovely. Both day staff and night staff. I travel throughout the country constantly and I stay all over and many different hotels depending on their reviews. Don't judge the book by its cover. This is really a diamond in the rough and a lovely place to be. People are so friendly. I can't say that enough.

Pet friendly for sure!

It was clean and wonderful that our pet friendly room was at the end of the hall. Easy to get the dogs in and out. Also, appreciate the fact that there was no additional charge for them.

Great for a last minute stop. The bath tub was dirty, but the room was otherwise clean. It's evident that management is striving for excellence, with some struggles in the housekeeping standards. Breakfast was plentiful and a bit better than the typical budget hotel.

Jade at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and room was very clean. The exterior was a little run down, however, don’t let that fool you. The lobby & breakfast area was nice and Comfortable. Love having microwave and fridge in the room.

The room was dirty, there was no hot water, and the beds are an abomination. We had prepaid the room for 3 nights and, for the first time ever, left after the first night. The only positive about this hotel is the front desk staff are very polite and efficient.

This is an older hotel but was very clean. I can tell that they are updating as they go. The staff was very friendly and there was freshly made popcorn in the lobby that was a nice touch. The internet was topnotch; very fast and easy to access.

Pleasant staff.

You can tell whoever did repairs didn't do them well. Also before leaving the room we found a nasty bug on the bed. My boyfriend smacked it and it exploded blood on the sheet. Gross. We won't stay at this property again.

Would’ve rated it excellent but had no hot water the first night and they only let me know the boiler needed a part the next morning. After I called the lobby to find out why no hot water . Other than that everything was great!

Staff was nice

This hotel is one of my favorites. The front desk is awesome very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable. We will be staying there often.

The coffee pot was disgusting

Property was great! Had issues with room toilet handle was broken. Hotel was full. Your staff tried to make it right but because of Expedia booking was unable to discount cost of stay. Unable to contact Expedia for a credit front Desk said have them call us or email we will make it right. Again your staff tried.

The hotel is fair but ok for one night. It needs updating, carpet was very worn and a little dirty in the corners of rooms and halls.

Staff were great! Room was clean, only negative was we could hear people above us.

Budget hotel, rooms could do with a little updating but were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

Not impressed - ran our card early

We arrived in town around 1 p.m., we couldn't check in then. I told them we'd be back around 9:30 p.m. They said that was fine. We got a call at 6 p.m. I called them back at 6:03 and no one answered. We went there at 9:30 and they'd cancelled our reservation!! They tried to run our card at 6 and is was declined. I intended to pay with a different card. Why were they running our card before we'd even checked in?? What about the people who don't check in until late? The clerk didn't care one bit that we were trying to find other rooms. 4 of our group went to another hotel. The rest took the 2 rooms that were left. The clerk was no help, she didn't care and was unhelpful. She claimed that she'd answered the phone - my phone records show when I called and that it wasn't answered. Not impressed! Will stay somewhere else the next time we travel to Casper.

Helpful staff

Friendly staff in a somewhat dated hotel. Comfortable beds.

This property is worn and showing its age. Compared with other motels (in Wyo) where we stayed on the same trip, this delivered less value for the price. (Maybe motels in Casper are more expensive for what they deliver.) We will probably look elsewhere if we find ourselves in the area.

Very good stay, best super 8 we’ve ever stayed at. Would be 5 stars, unfortunately the ceiling above our room squeezed and creaked bad, so we didn’t get to sleep until the people above us went to bed.

Staff was great and very friendly. Room was very clean. Not in a great location but couldn’t hear the road noise. Only complaint was the floorboards above our room creaked and had to turn on the air conditioner at 3am to block out the noise.

Didn't dislikes anything.

Affordable place to stay and clean. Would say it’s what you’d expect from a Super 8. Hotel was clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that we were not offered trash to be taken or any housekeeping services during our 3 day stay, but if looking for a place that is pretty cheap while checking out the views in Casper and Wyoming area can’t complain at all. Staff was kind and friendly.

A good three days except for being locked out

We stayed for three nights and only had one real complaint, but it became a big inconvenience. The key lock malfunctioned repeatedly over the whole three days. Almost every time we left the room, we needed new keys made, and even the a new key was no guarantee that the door would unlock. The clerk assisted many times, and she had difficulty unlocking the door. The whole mechanism was coming off the door when we arrived on Friday and that wasn't fixed during our stay. Even the maintenance man had trouble unlocking the door with his master key. Every other aspect of the hotel suited our needs.

The room had a overwhelming smell of dog pee. The carpet was filthy with stains everywhere. Didnt honor my diamond status and resigned me up for a blue card and when we inquired was told to call corporate.

I always look for a nice clean room. And this place is very clean. No elevator, so you get to have some exercise.

Met expectations which were not favorable. Lousy breakfast considering cost of room which was $10.00 more than advertised. Cramped toilet area with stool so high feet didn't reach floor while sitting. Hard bed with minimal covers. Poor tv with no channel guide. The card key worked most of the time on the first swipe.

Stay was overnight. Comfortable bed,clean room ,staff pleasant. If i had to complain would suggest upgrade on bed linens, very worn.

Staff were amazing, room clean and comfortable - complete with creative toilet paper and wash cloth art! Downsides were inconvenient v-shaped breakfast service area and hallways in need of vacuuming. Otherwise, best Super8 yet! Thank you Casper!

Older property, but well cared for. Front desk staff so friendly. Decent breakfast coffee was actual real drip coffee and not Reconstituted, coffee syrup like many other hotel chains.

This is an average motel catering to construction and trades workers. Biggest problem is no elevator which was a huge problem for my wife.

Very convenient to where we wanted to visit.

The lady checking in was polite and considerate

4 rooms no hot water and room keys kept demagnetizing even without being by electronics. Breakfast was nice, staff nice, popcorn was a nice bonus but we really needed hot showers

Was nice and quiet and reasonably priced.

The staff was great, especially Jade. The building is old but seems well maintained. As with other Super 8's, they need to modernize their usb and plug access.

The hotel is older and no elevator.
