Je m’entendais à mieux
Je m’entendais à mieux. Pas de prise USB et je n’avais pas la tête de chargeur et pas d’aide sur ça. Si vous quittez tôt la boite du petit desjeuner laissé à désiré
Beautiful, relaxing, property. Had an amazing view of the pyramids from our room. The staff was attentive and polite. Food was great, plenty of choices.
The property was, overall ok. People were friendly and helpful. Common areas were clean the food was great. Security seemed good and very evident. The rooms need an upgrade. Beds were ok, linen was good, but the tile grout was dirty, the carpet as stained and looked dirty, the patio windows were filthy. The chairs were not pristine. The bathroom has a lot of glass and it was not very clean and glass hardware and joints were ugly. We got a good price, so value was there, but to pay their rack rate would have been a concern. Because of German owners, I would have expected more.
Fantastic room with view of pyramids, food in restaurants was great, helpful staff and taxi service for sightseeing well looked after by drivers and big thank you to Hany who kept our room clean and tidy and lovely surprise when he decorated the room with balloons on the day of my birthday. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel
Bien ubicado en Giza. Cerca de lo importante. El personal muy amable. Los desayunos excelentes! Los alrededores son poco caminables.
The property had a great view of the pyramids, had 2 swimming pools and was very conveniently located opposite the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The New Year’s Eve event was expensive ($150 each) and only included 1 glass of wine. The dancers were great but the loud techno music blasted up out of the celebration early.
We stayed at this property for a week. Our first room had an issue and they immediately put us into a different room with staff helping us pack up our belongings. We will definitely return to this hotel
Friendly, accommodating staff, well maintained prooerty
Beautiful room for family trip
Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly; the room is very nice just like the pictures. Nice location and, breakfast is excellent….
Great hotel with pyramids view. Worth the dollar. Everyone visiting Cairo should stay here at least for a night.
A lovely hotel with fabulous pool and awesome view of the pyramids from the room/ balcony and pool area. The staff especially at breakfast and the pool bar were not friendly and did offer good service. It felt like they were volunteers at the hotel. This all changed after I met Ms Manar from concierge. After sharing my first days experience, everything changed the next day onwards. Staff offered much better service. This was much appreciated. Manar helped us with planning our tours and following up personally. She resolved some issue I had as well. She is the best person at the hotel and the hotel is fortunate to have her. Without her intervention, I would have rated the hotel service as 2 star. Mohammed Omar from the pool bar and Dina from concierge also provided exceptional service. These are the role models for the hotel. Thanks
The location of the property offers beautiful views of the pyramids and the new GEM museum. However, it is not in walkable area which is too bad.
Food is excellent Bedding’s are good Pyramids view are great. Swimming pool atmosphere is excellent. Just across from GEM but no way to walk you have to go by taxi or Uber. ドイツ系ホテル 新博物館前だが車で行きます 食事は丸 ピラミッドビューも最高 お掃除はエジプトなので
Great experience
Very rude staff particularly to women, staff English skills limited, room great, pool area is like a Vegas hotel, police tried to bribe our driver. Overall, ignore the reviews and avoid this place.
We chose this for proximity to the GEM, so really cant complain about all the work going on round about. The service in the restaurant was poor, despite the numbers of staff it was difficult to be served with drink
The staff was very cordial and accommodating. We had a fantastic view of the pyramids from our balcony making it a very a short distance for our tour guide to have to drive however it is a bit longer in distance than expected from the airport. I can say that while both were affordably priced I enjoyed the breakfast food more than the dinner selection. I would suggest this location as a nice place to stay if visiting the area.
We weren't here long enough to enjoy the facilities. Only stayed one night to go to the Pyramids which was really easy to get to, about 5-10mins in an Uber for a few pounds. The rooms were very nice, great shower what you will expect in a 5* hotel. Breakfast was nice too. Staff are all really nice and helpful too
Our room at the Steinberger was clean , however we advised the reception that the shower door did not close properly and all the water was spraying out. We were assured it would be fixed but was not throughout our stay. Service and selection of food in the restaurant was good. The hotel is not far from the pyramids by car, however there isn't much else nearby outside the hotel, you would need a taxi
Some great staff members such as Mohamed, the chef in the restaurant grill . The shower mounted over an extremely slippery bathtub was very dangerous. Tge view of the Pyramids was really great. Great Swimming pool
Got an upgrade to a suite with a view of the pyramids from the balcony
Beautiful hotel with amazing views
Lovely hotel, with large rooms full of light. we had a room with pyramids view, which is amazing as it sounds. Excellent service. Tasty breakfast. Would definitely come back
Lovely hotel
The suite was lovely and the view of the Pyramids was stunning.
Beautiful
Lovely hotel. Most importantly the staff are wonderful. The Manager to the doormen are so polite and don’t expect anything in return. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. Rooms views are gorgeous, straight over the pyramids. Highly recommend!
I booked the most expensive suite in the hotel for my wedding night. I ended up killing a lizard in the room and the hotel manager couldn't find us a matching room and we had to move to much smaller room
My room was nice! there was a bit of rust in my bathroom in the corner in the tub but it was only a little other than that i liked the room. I was a bit lost on why they didnt have a ice machine on my floor but they said to just call roomservice and they could bring it so i guess it wasnt a huge deal. And i kept getting locked out of my room for some reason i had to go to the front desk at least 3 times to get them to reactivate my room key. But honestly it was minor compaired to the time i had so i wasnt tripping and my room was only 2 floors up from the service desk. But the view of the prymids, the balcony that i had, the beautiful pool and the intresting food options were all so amazing!...i would love to stay there next summer when i come back to visit egypt hopefully it wont be booked up by then lol. But i enjoyed the hotel alot especially at night when they light up the pool and the prymids. Everyone who i showed videos to back home loved it and wanted to know where i stayed.if your looking for things to do your gonna have do drive a but because nothing is super close to the hotel but that wasnt a issue either since i had things planned for my stay there so remember aint no walking if your trying to go shopping or something lol
This was a good clean property with a lovely pool and reasonable dining options. It is very well located to the Pyramids (the name suggests that anyway). The staff were courteous and polite. A welcome drink would be a good addition.
Friendly staff and hotel always clean. No complains at all, will definitely book here again in the future.
Property was clean & great views. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the restaurant for dining, but did use the bar. Prices were average, the cheese plate was great. Beautiful pool area. My room was clean and bright. Bathroom was ok. Had an issue with toilet not flushing properly and reported to front desk. Came back at end of day to find issue not addressed. Ceiling in room leaked in the middle of the night but was addressed promptly. Service by staff was just ok. Did not find the front end staff to be friendly at all. Did not provide details about the amenities upon check in. Did not make me feel welcomed. Another person in my party with separate booking had worse treatment. She had an issue with airline and asked the front desk staff for assistance calling a local number for airline and the man staffing front counter on Friday afternoon/evening on 6/28/24 was very rude and dismissive and refused to provide assistance. I would stay here again but was not impressed with the customer service or responsivenes.
Everyone was so nice makes you fell so special. So clean and spacious worth every penny spent. Have great time and enjoy my trip. Thank you very much
Rude, embarrassing service
When we checked in, they rummaged through our luggage in the middle of the foyer. Three or four of them taking souvenirs out of our bags. Our clothes went everywhere. I think looking for a bribe. Very little explanation. Rude desk, and management. Expecting better from a hotel of this class. Will never stay again
This is not a 5 star property. A stretch to call it 4 star. Old and dingy. Carpeting stained in rooms and unclean. No gym or fitness room which alone should disqualify it from a 5 or 4 star. Checkin was confused and couldn’t find my reservation even with my Expedia confirmation number. Breakfast had old re-purposes foods. Breads were all stale. Tea and coffee were colored water. Really weak. Many areas in food stations were unclean - didnt want to touch milk products. Ran out of everything early. Ran out of eggs by mid morning 1.5 hours before buffet closed and had to wait for 30 mins. Etc etc
The Steinberger Pyramid Cairo offers a remarkable blend of luxury and comfort, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Its prime location near the iconic pyramids provides stunning views and easy access to historic landmarks. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed, featuring modern amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Exceptional dining options, from local delicacies to international cuisine, cater to diverse tastes. The staff is professional and attentive, ensuring top-notch service. With excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing spa, the Steinberger Pyramid Cairo guarantees a memorable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
Great view of the pyramids from a pyramid view room, the pool was nice. Reception staff could be more friendly and welcoming.
The hotel was lovely and staff very friendly. Not much option to walk anywhere from the hotel due to main roads across to the Pyramids and limited facilities around the hotel. The food in the hotel main restaurant is only a buffet style which wasn’t great.
It is clean, peaceful and comfortable
Probably the best hotel to stay in the area of Giza near the pyramids and offers a reasonable price for the rooms. Very quiet area compared to other hotels in that area. Would highly recommend as staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms were well kept clean. Strongly recommend this place as I would go back to this exact hotel if I was to visit again.
Great pool & view
Fabulous view of the pyramids and lovely pool to relax in. All the staff are friendly and polite. Definitely enjoyable and would go back!
The property is very ugly and in poor condition for the price it has in the photo. They paint it very nice in the photo. When you look at it in person, it is a disappointment.
Love and comfortable stay over 5 days. Loved the pool and pool bar. We had the Jnr Suite and the views to pyramids was a great highlight. Breakfast was very good. Bell Boy Amr was amazing along with rest of the staff.
Hotel adequate
Pros: nice area close to the pyramids. Good buffer. Cons: We were upgraded to a suite. However the shower door will not completely close and water kept coming out in the bathroom. We had to put towels to stop the leaking water. Despite multiple complaints nothing was done about the problem until we checked out. For a hotel of this level I would expect a much better service.
Very nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Our bed was super comfortable and we had a large balcony with a great view.
Quality of rooms in new block.
Best part was the free upgrade that also continued for next three days
GREAT HOTEL OVERALL ...
We stayed here for four nights in total and this hotel is absolutely perfect and right across from the Grand Egyptian Museum. It lives up to its five-star reputation as far as comfort, location, cleanliness, service offering and overall service. The wifi is shaky but that applies pretty much all over the country. This was my sixth visit to Egypt so I am pretty clued up on scams. However, one does not expect to be scammed by the concierge at a 5-star hotel, or perhaps I am naive. She arranged transport to Khan el Khalili and we ended up at a small shop close to the hotel. Space will not allow me to explain the entire context but I am 100% sure that this was no mistake or misunderstanding. It was deliberate and it is highly regrettable that one should encounter such deceit at such a superb establishment.
Very nice
If I compare Steigenberger Sharm El Sheikh, it’s far better in food varieties served in buffet Steigenberger Pyramids did not have that, and being an indian vegetarian we struggled. Cleanliness isn’t perfect, nothing in the mini bar except water in the room. They can do better next time, perhaps they need training from their other branch
Just arrived, so we haven’t explored much yet. But very friendly and helpful staff.
The facility is really great. Close to Pyramid complex. Walking distance to the local areas, but with the pool and internal facilities you'll likely end up finding yourself swimmings, relxing with a excellenet pyramid view. Facility is very modern, clean. We also stayed in the Luxor Steigenberge. This chain is one of the best in Egypt.
Beautiful big hotel with gorgeous views of the Pyramids and entertainment nightly. Swim up bar was lovely and staffcouldn't be any more friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this location. Also ask for Adam as a guide to Pyramids and ride around area, he is very knowledgeable and trust worthy
Y’all need to post more picture of this hotel especially the pool area cause this hotel needs more praise. This is a 10/10 hotel, the hotel looks like I was in the Caribbean. The free breakfast was 10/10 not to mention my view of the pyramids. The only thing y’all need to do is update the bathroom tub or like scrub it and do a deep clean of the carpet.
Amazing views of the pyramids from the hotel and the pool. Very nice pool area.
Referred by a friend who had worked in Cairo for my visit to the Pyramids. Good location for that, but too far from center city (National Museum) for anything else. Good buffet for meals. Upscale hotel for reasonable price. Not a neighborhood for strolling - a security dog sniffed the taxi trunk.
Staff were polite, room was clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was great. 4/5
Rooms and breakfast buffet very nice. Staff very friendly and everyone understood English. View of pyramids was great & was close to the new Egyptian museum but unfortunately due to road construction, it took longer to get anywhere. Plus the New Egyptian Museum wasn’t fully open so there was no point in being so close to museum.
Lovely property, friendly professional staff, delicious food.
It was close to the Pyramids
Very nice hotel with a great pool and a beautiful view of the pyramids. Good breakfast; nice staff. The only minus for me, if I may be picky, it was the furniture, mattress, and doors which are kind of outdated.
Good Location close to Pyramids. Nice enough and serviceable.
Great location and took care of our special requests for luggage storage.
The staff is wonderful. The tour guide services are excellent. It is very secure. It’s across the street from GEM which sadly has not opened yet. I found the buffets at breakfast and lunch to be good but monotonous. Views of pyramids are outstanding.
Excellent stay, highly recommended. Helpful and friendly staff. Restaurant is really good. Great base for pyramids.
The VIEWS from our executive suite were absolutely amazing ! The room was exactly like the pictures, the staff were amazing and the food was great ! When I return to Giza , I will stay here again !
Staff could not get the internet on my LG5, balcony door could not close completely, room phone did not work, tv had constant humming noise, cleaning services were not adequate.
The rooms and especially the Pyramids view are spectacular. I love the security that the hotel provides. The place is extremely safe and clean.
The staff was amazing and gave us an upgrade for our 1 yr anniversary. Beautiful views
this was my first trip to Cairo and I found it quite intimidating. The only positive experience I had whilst there was my stay at the hotel. The staff excelled in customer service and the PR lady always made sure she found me at breakfast to ask about my stay and if I needed anything. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide but this is the first place I felt I had first-class service.
Had a good stay overall, although property could do with a refurbishment.
The service of staff at the hotel was attentive and quick. Shahenda Mohamed especially helped me regarding transportation in a professional and caring manner. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent.
U can have better options with the price u pay for
My bf and I booked a deluxe room with pyramid view staying for three nights - they gave us a two single bed room which is ridiculous as we obviously a couple (I booked for a king size bed)… and the room’s shower head was broken. The room was obviously exchanged with someone else before our arrival as the guy that brought the suitcase for us rushed into the room and took away the “welcome note” before we settle in the room (that was very rude). We requested to change the room and they arranged it for the second day. The room was better this time but the duvet and pillow case were with dirts… I will say u can find a better option with the price u pay for here. Most of the staff are friendly, but I dnt think this hotel is up to 5 stars…
Great view for the Pyramids in a wonderful hotel delicious food and beverages and excellent service and comfort atmosphere in the hotel.
Great hotel, excellent service, great food and very clean Should be 6 stars Magical view of the pyramids
Staff are not professional, lack customer service skills and proper communication skills. Rooms are old, room keys don’t work, AC problems and staff never show up to fix the AC even though they promise that they are coming to repair it. Been married for over 20 years with baby in hand with wife and they still require proof that we are married.
The food and service were excellent. We had a few minor problems with our room, and those were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. When the Grand Egyptian Museum opens in a few minutes, this hotel will be right next to it.
We booked this hotel with our flights through Expedia and then contacted the hotel itself for a room upgrade to a ‘pyramids view’. This was all done as agreed at a reasonable price when we arrived. The rooms were big, luxurious & lovely. Waking up to see the Giza pyramids each morning a real treat. The hotel is a little isolated but you can book trips through their travel desk in the foyer and we had booked a couple of yours anyway through Expedia too before arriving. My sons & I loved the pool - and there is lovely al fresco a la carte dining available on site. All the staff were lovely to us and so helpful. Honestly - having seen some past reviews - this was wonderful as a stay & better than we’d expected. You might prefer to be in Cairo to get more access to the city sights but if you want pyramids, this is the place to stay.
If I ever come back, I will be staying here again
Great hotel with great staff in a perfect location for Pyramids. Highly recommend
I would never stay @ this place ever again in my life . Management is horrible and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work unless your in the lobby
The water was burning hot. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in your room. Management is very poor.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The on site restaurants were quite good.
It was very clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice and breakfast was great. The view of the pyramids was great and we will gladly stay at the hotel again.
Perfect for the pyramids!
Wonderful comfort, great views, nice stay!
The hotel is right across from the new Grand Egyptian Museum being built. The room was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating. However, I found the bathroom caulking was peeling and looked dirty even though it had been cleaned. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of food but the food in the Italian restaurant was not very authentic.
.
Average nothing spectacular
The view of the pyramids are breathtaking. We choose this hotel due to its proximity to the pyramids. Beside that I would not recommend. The front desk workers are not friendly and not helpful. It’s like they have a stick up their ass. The chefs are friendly and welcoming. The pool is dirty and freezing. We visited in November. The Italian restaurant on site is pretty good and fairly priced.
Excellent hotel with close proximity to the pyramids and amazing views of the pyramids and the new Egyptian Museum that is being built.
We found the beds to be very comfortable and the food was very good. Friendly staff. Great view of the Giza pyramids. Hotel is being renovated so the gym was closed. The room was dusty and the shower stall leaked water all over the floor.
The way of introducing the infos at z rec terrible
Receptionist on my time for check in was absolutely unprofessional and he talked in a very stupid way just because he knows that my fiance did a surprise for me , the gift she left it in my room with one of the hotel staff , he starts to tell me before the check in even , that it's not allowed to visit her room ! Which is actually wasn't even on our plan . I'm absolutely disappointed ☹️ and i had to stay only because of my birthday and my fiance who is actually coming Egypt for this night for my gift only
Hani our room service attendant was great, always made our room clean and neat for our return after a day of touring the sites in Cairo to the Giza plateau he personally made sure we had enough water for our daily trips great young man; Steigenberger you are fortunate to have such dedicated team members, thanks Robert, Maggy and Cairo
Spent a night here and had a nice stay. The hotel itself looks better in person than it does through photos. The rooms were very nice and clean. We got a pyramid view room and the view of the pyramids was nice. Also, the breakfast was good. Only issue was regarding the shops on premise. The ATM is located near the shops and the sales people at the shop are pretty aggressive to get you to visit their store and buy something. Other than that, my group had a pleasant experience at this hotel even though it was just for a night. If you are looking for a nice, clean, and affordable hotel that is 6 minutes (driving) away from the pyramids, this is a great place to stay.
With the deluxe suites offering a view of the Pyramids and early opening an excellent buffet breakfast, I would recommend the property to any wanting to base their stay this side of Cairo.
Na
Room Not With a View
I booked a room with a view of the pyramids, but due to the heavy smog, the pyramids were not even visible until mid-morning, and even then there was only a vague outline to be seen. I believe that the air clears a bit around check-out time and the pyramids can be seen more clearly for a couple of hours. Had I known this, I wouldn’t have paid for a room marketed as one with a view.
Specifically booked a non smoking pyramids view room, but was placed in a smoking room without a pyramids room. Had to demand being moved to a non smoking room as booked (for medical reasons). First room was also not clean—crumbs all over the floor, dirty tub, and dusty/muddy balcony. Each night, our key card did not work. Elevator was also out of service. Very slow service abs unfriendly front desk staff. White customers did not get treated like we did.
All staff was very friendly and hospitable. Our rooms had everything you needed, full length mirror, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Shuttles are readily available for the airport and cost $50 USD. They are also refundable if they are booked in advance.
Had a fabulous holiday staying at Steigenberger Giza, this hotel was recommended by my travel agency and i couldn't be any happier! Great friendly staff, fast check in process, good food and AMAZING pyramid view from my room! it was my dream watching the pyramids from my balcony and i couldn't ask for a better view that the hotel provided! I toured with a local agency called Go Luxor Tours, they were very efficient, punctual and always on time, brand new cars with great ac (which is a must in Egypt's hot weather) and friendly guides who speak fluent English! Thanks guys for such fabulous unforgettable holiday!
Very nice stay The staff was amazing
Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo | Hotel in Giza | Travala.com
Probably the best hotel in the Giza area. We stayed here twice and both times were excellent. Amazing view of the pyramids in the museum. We checked out some of the other hotels around and this is definitely the nicest one! The breakfast buffet is the best in town and Chef Josh really took care of us at dinner picking us some specialty Egyptian items. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone
