I booked last minute due to delayed arrival from KL by bus, but be aware it’s unstaffed and you have to down load an App to check in and for whatever reason I was not initially given the correct code and hence couldn’t check in although after 23:30hrs and no one was answering the support phone although meant to be 24x7? In the end using the Apps on line help they sent the correct access code and I was able to check into my room. I was quite upset last night, but in the light of day it’s clean and tidy and people Ive met have all been nice. I think such establishments should have clearly marked on their Expedia page that no staff on site and you need to upload passport details and a picture of yourself on line. Hence you need to be tech savvy!!

I really like the entire concept and as I was travelling for business and my office is in south tower so it was 100m from my office! It was clean and comfortable and the room was well designed to make optimal use of the space!

The room was okay, however as for 2 people way too small with no place to sit (one chair for 2 ppl)… also the window view for a wall. We were told that the cleaning service is every second day which is okay, however in the end it didn’t happen at all during our 3 nights stay.

Perfect for our needs

Small, comfortable room. Check-in was a hassle as you need to download an app, take a selfie, and connect to the wifi before getting a key to your room. I booked the executive suite, which was still pretty small, but cozy. Bathroom was nice and small, but not cramped with a large shower.

Great option for single occupant since quite small. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Better suited for short stay since no laundry facilities. Excellent location short walk to MRT, Bugis Junction and Suntec. Surrounded by all types of restaurants. Easy to use App for check-in and room access.

Second time I have stayed in an ST hotel in Singapore. Everything pretty much as expected and spotlessly clean and modern.

Comfortable but small. Very noisy coild hear couple having sex. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location.

Great location, but needs some thought

I enjoyed my stay at the Signature. The staff are very welcoming, and the facilities are good. Location wise it's excellent, right next to Bugis Junction and the Raffles Hotel is within walking distance. But there were a few things that need improvement. I had no hot water for my entire stay (3-nights). This wasn't a problem as it was so hot, but still worth mentioning, if you need it. The layout of the shower and toilet in my room was absolutely ridiculous (room 301). Whoever designed that should be held accountable. For a grown adult to get into the shower and close the door was near impossible. I just about managed it by pushing myself against the wall. Terrible design!! No spacial awareness at all. The window for room 301 looks out onto the communal balcony area. Therefore every time someone entered that space, they could look into my room! I was extremely uncomfortable with this. I raised this issue with a staff member and was dismissed. I was told, "no-one really uses that space, so don't worry". This was not true. I had several guests and cleaners look into my room, as I was in bed! The point of booking a room with a window is to keep the blind open and receive natural light. I felt very restricted with this. To make matters worse, there is a table and chair set placed directly next to the window! This should at least be removed. Furthermore the cleaners are extremely noisy. Expect to be woken up by them stomping around the corridor each morning.

Good for a couple of days stay. I would stay again. As other reviewers stated, if you aren't good with noise, you may want to have ear plugs with you. Also, be sure to get the instructions for checking in by clicking the link on the reservation and do it beforehand. When booking with Expedia / Hotels.com, I didnt get this email. There are two parts. First is to download the app and uoload your passport. You will also need their reservation code, not Expedia. You may have to message them via WhatsApp. After arrival, you return to the app to complete check-in as already checked in. You wll be given a room #. You'll have to do a selfie as well. This will complete the process where a digital key is generated. Use that to go in/out. You have to enable certain permissions on the phone (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi).

I really enjoyed my stay. Check-in was easy, location is excellent. Room was clean and is perfect for solo travellers.

Well what can I say, two staff were present when we arrived but they asked us to check ourselves in using an app we had to download.. which we found a bit strange as they could have easily just checked us in.. and finicky having to fiddle with my phone and input all our details after a long flight and commute.. We checked in and found there were hairs on the sheets and sink. But aside from that, the location is incredible being so close to Bugis junction, Raffles city, Suntec and the library is across the road. The room was super small but everything felt new, it also had everything we needed and some thoughtful touches like a pull out table and storage holes here and there. Staff always sat in the common lounge area, and we felt they didn't expect us to sit there at times.. which kind of made us feel a bit awkward to sit there (our room didn't really have anywhere to sit so we could only sit in the lobby to use our laptop) Would I stay again? Yeah, I suppose what you're really paying for is a bed in a superb location. Felt like being in japan at times, but with everyone not being polite at all 😂

Hotel forces check-in process via some half baked app/website that will later on also function as the key. For me this worked poorly coming from a long flight with an empty phone battery. I would rather just hand my passport to someone and get a key card. Beyond that barrier to entry the place is generally clean and friendly. Rooms are tiny, but are equipped well.

Easy choice

Incredibly central location and comfortable bed.

The hotel was great. The room was smaller than I expected. It was ok with carry-on luggage, but if you have a check-in bag, the room will be very crowded. Other than that, I have a great time staying at ST Signature Middle.

We find IT very near to transportation and restaurants I recommend to all WHO wanted to visit Singapore The staff were so Nice and accommodating overall for me its perfect

A bit of hassle when checking on. The room was small esp the bathroom, you cant get out the shower without hitting the shower head. On the 2nd day with the hotel, I asked for the room to be cleaned but it wasn’t cleaned during our 4day stay. Leaving the luggage on the lobby with no tags, it can be stolen.

Great stay would recommend

*TINY* rooms - we have to climb over each other to get out of bed, there was zero space for luggage, the toilet was too small to sit down on. It's not bad value for money, but it's crazy that they don't tell you how tiny the rooms are when you book. No secure luggage storage facility, no laundry, no room cleaning unless you ask a day in advance.

Check in was definitely tricky and requires to download an app to complete. Overall, it was okay and met expectations as a budget friendly hotel.

Great bargain in Singapore

St Signature Bugis Middle is a good hotel and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value in the Bugis area. My room was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. While my room had no windows I honestly didn’t miss seeing out into the street like I thought I might. The hotel professes to be self-service with a self-check-in. While I enjoyed my stay there, the check-in process was the worst, most cumbersome process I’ve ever had checking in at any hotel in the world. There are two posters of steps to take as you enter the hotel which include taking photos of your passport and matching it to a selfie you take then and there. As someone who has had major surgery behind one of my eyes, my selfie does not match my passport too well anymore. Even with the help of a staff member at check-in, the process still took close to 20 minutes. The check-in could have been much smoother and faster with filling out forms prior to arriving at the hotel…just a suggestion. Your room key is your smartphone. A great idea, but I question what privacy permissions the app was taking with my smartphone. Still, after checking in I found the hotel to be a great place to stay and will consider staying there again for my conference in Singapore next year.

Shower not for big peoples

Compact rooms but clean, well fitted out, quite new and comfortable. Great location. Liked the co-living facility at the ground floor and the open air balconies on level 3. Next time I need hotel accommodation in Sg I'll be back.

Great host at the hotel when we arrived, which is in a great location near MRT and plenty of dining and shopping options. Very clean and modern. There were blinds on the windows, which were closed, when we opened them, we realised we were looking into some offices, and visa versa!!! As good as having no windows!!!! To get into the lift you had to drag your bag up some steps, not very practical at all. The en-suite not practical, the toilet space is the size of a toilet, then there is a shower door leading to the shower, it is just too small. However the shower was very powerful once it heated up. The tv was for internet use only!!!

Property had noone to help check in, everything done through an app. Didn't work and had to get help through WhatsApp. Room small but had everything needed, although the bathroom may be too small for anyone over 5 foot 10 to sit on the commode, my knees were hitting the wall! Didn't appreciate loud housekeeping of neighboring rooms at 8 AM when trying to sleep. Room was clean/bed was comfortable. Shampoo/body wash/toothbrush kit provided.

Location is really close to all amenities and transportation is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Price is very affordable too. I highly recommend this hotel to all.

Bugis Middle ligt op een perfecte locatie; dichtbij MRT, shops en restaurants. Het inchecken gaat via een app wat gelijk je kamersleutel is. We werden bij dit incheck proces goed geholpen door de front desk medewerker. Kamer is compact en comfortabel en goed ingedeeld. Aanrader!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr hellhörig!!!! und es ist nicht einfacheinzuchecken. Man muss sich eine App runterladen und um einen zweiten virtuellen Schlüssel zu bekommen, braucht man Hilfe vom Hotel Personal. Das sagt die App aber leider nicht.

Två nätter i Singapore

Fräsch och centralt boende. Väldigt litet rum men det var allt vi behövde för ändamålet. Eget badrum och kyl. Fanns micro och kokplatta i lobbyn. Var lite krångligt att checka in via appen först då vi inte hitta rätt bokningskod från hotels men sen kom hon som jobba där tillbaka från rast och då löste det sig väldigt smidigt!

Way too expensive for what it is. We thankfully only stayed for one night. First of all, the check in process via a faulty app is not working when the accommodation is booked via Expedia, since an internal booking number from the hotel is needed that is not shown in the Expedia booking and the hotel does not provide this number in advance. After not being able to check in, we went to the hotel anyways and at last a staff member that appeared could help us get the room. The room was comically tiny and we weren’t even able to sit on the toilet properly because our knees hit the opposing wall. The walls are paper thin and we could hear absolutely everything from the neighbouring rooms. We therefore could not sleep until 2:30 am and were again woken by noise around 7:30 am. The room was not very clean as well, I found a hair on the bed. The area is good, but you can get a really nice hotel with a big quiet room, amenities and a pool in the same area for only 50 Euros per night more (the other two nights we stayed at such a nice nearby hotel). I would never stay here again.

Moderne et bien équipé

Le "check in" se fait avec son téléphone en téléchargeant l'application de l'hôtel. Une note à l'accueil explique la procédure à suivre, de la connexion au wifi jusqu'à l'entré dans la chambre. La chambre est petite mais moderne, très bien agencée et propre. La fenêtre de la chambre avait une bonne isolation phonique.

部屋に小さい蟻が結構な数いて…ベットにも上がってきて、寝てる時に腕を這うような状態だったので、それがどうしても気になってしまいました…。部屋は狭いですがシャワーの水圧は強く十分に熱いお湯も出て、冷蔵庫も機能しており、アメニティは歯ブラシもあって、エアコンの効きも問題なかったです。フロントの方も良い人でした！

Great stay

Double room good sized for single person. Clean, compact and has basic amenities. Rooms are as advertised. Helpful and friendly staff at lobby. As check in is done through an app, she patiently assisted me through the whole process. Great location. Approximately 8min walk to Bugis MRT.
