Where do we start. I would recommend full heartedly anyone who is traveling to Santorini to stay at this property. Aside from the spectacular view, the service was exceptional. Especially our guide Mr. Chrisovalandis. Our flight got delayed, however Chris offered us an extended stay due to this which was extremely kind and helpful to us. We were given the options to book transportation, activities, etc through them as well. The cleanliness of the stay, the pool, the room, etc made the perfect picturesque stay in Greece. We barely even wanted to leave the room! We also ordered breakfast straight to the room from this company, which was wonderful and absolutely exceptional. As frequent travelers, please book your stay with Sophia Oia! You definitely won’t regret it.

Excellent service, breathe taken view...!!!!

Terrible communication. Called three people to find out where to go. Finally when we got in touch, they said helped bring our bags to the room, and informed us there was an issue with the pool of our room (whole reason we stayed there because it was our honeymoon). The manager finally came after saying he would b there in 5 minutes, 25 minutes later he finally came and said he told us what to do which was not true. There was no communication about arrival. There was an issue with the pool and they didn’t have another room with one and would have to offer to transfer us to another sister property which was an upgrade but it was 30 minutes away and not in the area we planned for. Felt like the manager was disingenuous about the whole thing. We had been traveling for over a month and know what to expect and be treated and felt like there was no accountability. We are grateful for the attempt to upgrade us but it was not what we planned for and we did not appreciate the lack of communication and honestly straight up lies.

The property was nice and the location was close to everything we wanted to do in Oia Santorini. However, a little disappointed that we booked the Gateway caldera view with private lunge pool but the pool was out of order so we did not have the Santorini experience that we looked forward to and booked for. Management agreed to offer us a discount/credit for the inconvenience, have to wait and see if Expedia and property will honor.

Great property for a boutique hotel. The property is right in front of a busy photographic area so getting in and out was an issue at times but it didn’t bother us much.

We love everything about this property! We were picked up by the staff from where our taxi dropped us off, ushered us to the room. They are so polite and helpful. We were personally oriented on the property with what kind of amenities we have, etc. Valantis, the manager, also has good eating places recommendations and discounts. The view of the blue dome churches is just awesome, walking distance to Agios Nikolaos, Amoudi bay, and the city center. We were surprised with alot of freebies too! Highly recommended and hopefully we could come back! Thank you Sophia Oia!

Excellent location, good personal assistant, staff and caring

Stay Away from Sophia Properties

Worst stay we have ever had. The manager is so shady and promises you a bunch of stuff and strings you along until you leave and then lies about everything he says. Get it is writing. Pool was dirty and they told us to just swim in it, ants in the room, no water pressure. The manager kept saying her would be right there and it would take an hour everything. Stressful stay and they did nothing to compensate or alleviate our troubles and worries. We will never stay at a Sophia property ever again. The few was magnificent but not worth the extra money and stress this property will give you. Stay away from Sophia properties!!

The view is spectacular! Staff was great. Our only complaint was the lock on our room sticks pretty badly. Overall pretty much perfect

Very clean and hospitable

We had issue with the room which is no cold water in the sink and it was burning hot water coming in the sink me and my child got burnt several time also some dirty stinking water looks like pee water overflow in the front door area ruined our feet we call the host she came in 10 min and cleaned it for us also made us wait for plumber which took my 2 hours there. Also she is keep on telling us how to use the room like we don’t know how to. She is little too pushy which is I didn’t like it also didn’t give us right information about sunset which is we missed it was not a good experience

I loved this property it was a dream..beautiful perfect location the only thing I didn’t like was that we had to wait almos 2 hours to get the room because they wouldn’t answer the phone so we had to call Expedia to see what was going on and they took a while to get a hold of someone,they don’t have a front desk so that’s a bit tricky

This hotel was the worst in my life. The view was nice at least. But the room door is so fragile and shaking all night, we couldn’t sleep at all. We don’t recommend if you find a real hotel that you can sleep.

Unique Cave Like Stay / Blue Dome Churches!

there's a reason why this is called "Oia View". you're really like right in from of two blue dome churches. ilso its very convenient; its like a few steps off the Main Street of Oia. a bit tricky to get the luggage from point A to point B, but the hotel staff does get to this. but really - all these cliff hotels are that way. we recommend this place, really unique.

It was a great place to stay! The views were amazing and the room was nice. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is the best place to stay in Oia. It is right in the middle of everything and a very easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The room is clean and has everything you need and the BEST view.

Can't get better than this in terms of location and view . Beautiful room fully furbished with nespresso machine, bathrobe, and everything you need - including a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. We got the room with the plunge pool and im so glad we did - we used it often and couldnt get enough of the views. We travelled in March which was nice to soak in the hot tub while the air was a bit cool. Thanos, the property manager, was incredibly courteous, attentive and gave is fabulous advice on things to do and where to eat during off season.

Amazing view and friendly staff

Amazing property with perfect views! Rooms were clean, comfortable, cozy and gave us the perfect “cave life” experience. Hotel staff were very helpful and provided great recommendations. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Property has the best views of Oia. Very expensive but worth it. Beautiful room and loved the private jacuzzi.

Once-in-a-Lifetime View

We stayed here as part of my husband's 45th birthday trip to Greece. It was a splurge that I felt was worth it for the once-in-a-lifetime view and unique cave room experience, and I wasn't wrong. The room, pool, and view were all better than I expected. We really appreciated the port transfer they arranged for an extra fee, because the port is madness, and the help with our luggage. We stayed in the largest room that comes with the largest pool because it was the only one available for our dates (which worked out nicely). The room was so nicely decorated with cute little touches such as a record player and books, and plenty of amenities (hair dryer, slippers, robes, pool towels, fridge, iron, air-conditioning, etc). Check out the Sophia Suites website if you want to see the differences in the rooms to make sure you know which one you're booking (I ultimately booked with the Hotels website due to their rewards program). The balcony is spacious with a sofa, patio table and chairs, hammock, pool that is larger than I expected, and that VIEW! It's too bad they don't have a kitchen, but that's to be expected with a cave hotel that only has 3 suites. There's a restaurant directly above it, and we were given other restaurant recommendations. Also keep in mind, they don't have a reception for the same reason, but someone will meet you there to check you in and give you useful information. You can reach them anytime, if needed. I have already been telling people about this place.

Amazing blue domes view, centrally located in Oia

The view that you would never get tired of, all in the comfort of your room, especially in the warm, summer heat. Location is tops, centrally located between the windmills and the main shopping street where the action is, with the shops and the restaurants just outside your very quiet room. Accessibility to attractions a big plus to exploring the sights in the early morning before the crowd comes in. Nonetheless, the room could do with more luxury comforts in terms of the decor... though there's a fridge, coffee maker, ironing board in the room.

Location, location, location. Hands down one of the best views you can have when staying in Oia and super close to the centre of everything in town. We decided between other options (bigger and nicer looking rooms) vs this but chose this for the location and we are so happy that we did. Tourists line up outside your gate to take photos of the view that you have unlimited access to. Slight quirk in that the hotel only has 3 villas and does not have a reception, but this is overcome by Marilena who is available on WhatsApp to attend to your needs. Would also recommend trying sister hotel Sophia Suites at the end of your stay - they offer free transfers to make it easy. Great sunset views from afar with the sun setting over Oia.

This hotel offered none of the amenities advertised on their site. Additionally, despite agreeing to a refund after having to leave suddenly due to an unforeseen crisis, the owner was unwilling to work with us. The area is beautiful and there are many places to choose from.

Everything you need for a perfect holiday Excellent view from the villa..The blue domes are right in front. Worth the money. The staffs we met from pickup , check in were friendly. We love the room and the outdoor jacuzzi tub. Very conveniently located along the Main Street. Added locked gate for added privacy. Many good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend

Excellent experience We had an excellent experience with friendly helpful staff from the first phone call through to check in, dining and check out. Our rooms were very clean and very accommodating.Will defiantly be staying again

Is really the best place to stay in Santorini. Amazing room with the most amazing view of the three blue domes. It was a dream comes true.

Th host melirina was super nice and responsive and the location is great. However the amenity is terrible. No pool. The plunge pool isn’t a pool at all but a hot tub. In addition, not sure how they scheduled the water cycling of the hot tub. It was super loud at night throughout as if someone was in the tub splashing the water. We couldn’t sleep at all due to the noise. In addition, you can throw anything even toilet paper into the toilet as the water pressure was so low that the hotel was afraid the toilet got clogged and thus asking all guests not throw toilet paper into the toilet but trash can?? That’s not what I would have expected from a 4.5 star hotel. Finally the room was much smaller than what photos depicted. Overall not worth the price at all.

The view was the BEST IN OIA!!!!! plunge pool and attention to details.

Amazing view and staff are excellent. Prime location and what can you say about having your own cave pool...perfection. My kid loves the hispeed wifi.

Great place but need a new manager

It was a a very nice room that we got to stay at. The view is unbeatable if you want pictures next to the domes without having to worry about photobombers. Everything was nicely decorated and very clean. Even though it was right under a busy restaurant, the noise wasn’t too bad at all. The only negative is customer service. The woman who manages Sophia Oía View was terrible. Showed up late for our check out. Didn’t send anyone down to help us bring the luggage from our current hotel in Oía over to this place. She was rude also. I asked her to help us organize a ride on our checkout day to take us to our next hotel and her response was “there’s no free ride here sweetie” sigh* I didn’t even ask anything for free in the first place. Then she said she would give us a call once she completes scheduling it. She never gave us a call. Instead she called us twice mistakenly confused us with the other guests at Sophia Oía View.

The location is excellent at Sophia Oil View! right on the Caldera and you can see the blue domes right from your room. Marilena was there for check in and explained many different excursions as well as answered any questions if needed. Each room has its own terrace and pool and it's just a nice area to relax after exploring for the day. Will definitely be back!

A great stay in Sohpia Oia View

I recently stayed at Sophia Oia View and had an incredible experience. The location offers breathtaking views of the caldera, especially at sunset. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A special mention goes to the hotel manager, Valandis, who was exceptionally attentive and helpful throughout my stay. His recommendations for local dining and activities truly enhanced my visit. Overall, I highly recommend Sophia Oia View for anyone looking to enjoy the charm of Oia, Santorini!

Stunning view. Absolutly fantastic.

Magnifique chambre, Magnifique vue et confort au top. Mais malgrés le prix de la chambre tout est en supplément donc la facture monte trés vite, pensez bien aussi a tout recalculer car on nous à annoncé un prix supérieur à ce que l'on à consommé, la piscine etait un peu trop bouillante

Chambre magnifique avec la vue des deux copules emblématiques de Santorini. Par contre pas bcp de intimité car la terrasse et entrée que nous avons eu, est à côté de un autre et les personnes qui l’occupe éteint 4 ou 5 et un peu bruyant à mon avis.

The best location and a great swimming pool

I can tell you that this hotel is located at the best area where you can travel in Oia. Considering hot weather, you will get to know how important this is in Oia. Also, the room I stayed has a swimming pool which was really cool.
