Great location. Very nice view of stream from behind cabin. Could use a new BBQ grill. Need to upgrade to Roku or app driven TV. Need to add smart TV upstairs. Add additional comfortable blankets. Overall great stay!!!
We really enjoyed our stay. Loved this place! Would definitly go back.
Not as advertised. Metal and plastic chairs around fire pit and on top patio. Dead and live bugs throughout interior of property. Large pool table and plastic folding table in place of dining table. Multiple light fixtures and fans inoperable. WiFi provided little to no service. TV remotes broken.
It is very quite, it need some fixes on the property
Great view, underwhelming accomodations
Pro: Great view. Good communication via email and text. Neutral: *Got lost on the way there. Later discovered there were directions sent to my email. Don't know they would save helped. Make a left at the point Google Maps says Emerald Way ends, then go another mile around lots of curvy roads. It's before the big cabin associated with CabinsUSA. Cleanliness. I've seen better. It's just funny to assume you'll be given a to for cleaning if there's bugs on the floor and dry leaves under the pillow of the bed. Cons: The place could use some TLC. *The old wood furniture is charming and quaint, but old sofa and chair is just uncomfortable. The couch sinks in spots, as I think the cushions are just old and worn out. A spring is broke on the chair, so one side sinks more than the other when you sit in it. That pillow is nasty. Probably a good thing I don't have a black light *Bugs...I don't mind lady bugs but IMO,roaches aren't cute, even when they're babies. *Blinds... Cheap and broken. Couldn't close the blinds all the way and couldn't adjust the shade of some. I felt a little exposed even though there are no neighbors. I got dressed and yelled out the window "what do you think of these?" The clip on the cable to hold the hot tub cover down was broken. Given the need for TLC, don't expect it to be fixed. Don't break a nail trying to own it, use a butter knife or something.
Right on river
Beautiful location and right on the river. A little tricky to find on mountain.
Came up way short on expectations
Hot tub water was dirty and the cabin was dusty looked like it hadnt been cleaned in several weeks(they charge you a 200 cleaning fee so this was pretty upsetting to me), the downstairs bed was so hard and wore down you couldnt get comfortable or sleep very well. Pool table felt was cut so playing pool wasnt really in the question. The propane for the grill was basiclaly empty when we got there so we couldnt even grill. The one thing i loved about it was the scenery and the location.
So so
So this was a family trip to visit the mountains and visit other family that was visiting the mountains as well during the same time. The view from the porch and seeing the stream rushing by was the best. But that’s it. The place was downright dirty! Cobwebs on all the light fixtures. Trash behind the couch. Torn-up carpet next to the fireplace. Previous people’s shoes left under the bed... next issue was the water! If you stay here bring plenty of bottled water! You’ll need it for your coffee, for cooking, etc... the water stinks to high heaven! I mean horrible stench! We almost didn’t even want to take a shower... So we were gone all day and at night we’re back about to go to bed and give the kids their gummy vitamins and we open the bottle and the $15 bottoms of gummies have all melted into the bottom of the bottle! Don’t leave anything on the countertops downstairs you don’t want to fry in the sunlight that is magnified by the large windows! You’ll have to turn the mirror in on the medicine cabinet in the bathroom BC if you’re in there especially at night anyone walking by can look into that mirror from outside and see everything inside the entire bathroom! Make sure you know the alarm code before entering BC I didn’t read the way down the directions and the alarm went off for several minutes before I found the code! Very annoying! The hot tub was clean so that was a plus....
I received a call at 6pm on the date of my arrival to inform me that I was being moved to a 2 bedroom apartment because of issues with my booked location. I was 20 min away from completing my 4.5 hour drive to the property. I insisted on a cabin with a hot tub as I had originally booked. They were able to accommodate me for my 1st night only and told me to checkout by 10am the next morning. The apartment was another 20 min away and not available for me to check in until after 3pm. When I arrived at the location I was very disappointed. Very poor quality from what I had booked and no hot tub. The apartment was a very big disappointment not to mention I did not have a location for 5 hours after I was told to check out of the cabin because another gust was checking in. Very disappointing this was not what I expected at all.
The property was nice, but the water smelled like rotten eggs. The jacuzzi did not heat up, & the wifi kept going in & out. The scenery was nice with the stream un the back yard. Some of the chairs were unstable and under the pool table needed to be swept.
Nice Rustic setting loved to hear the creek running. Neat little cabin where we as a family enjoyed to relax. Only thing i believe should be improved is put in more the one roll of Toilet paper in the whole cabin for crying out loud. Small inexpensive items such as these is really what make a place memorable. Upgrade your Coffee maker to an actual fully functional and classical coffee maker. Again remember its the small things in life that make GREAT memories.
Road getting to the cabin was a steep gravel road that was washed out in places and difficult for a car to maneuver. Cabin condition was great however it was advertised to be secluded and a swimming hole. There was a 20 person cabin less than 25 feet from ours and the swimming hole was a small river with sharp rocks. We inquired about the karaoke machine that didn't work and desk person told us to see if we could get it to work a if not they would try to have to have someone service it. Ceiling fans quite working mid week and the wifi also went out midweek and only worked for small downloads to download movies/ netfix we would be charged extra.
Fun Get Away On The River
We loved the cabin it was clean an had everything just bring some food an you're set this is the last cabin at the end of the line has privacy we gave this a 5 star we will be back .!!!!!
