Great overall
Nice very comfortable
The stay was at a good price but it’s very noisy with you being able to hear people moving about in the corridors and above. Also there was a person sitting in the garden shouting for an hour and when being told to be quiet he carried on. It didn’t seem like the staff were doing anything about it. Another thing to note is there are no lifts or step free access which I didn’t realise so that made it hard to carry up my luggage
Once I checked in and spoke with a staff member; I was shown the set up with the app and how it unlocked the doors. Really clever. Private 6 bed dorm with bathroom was fab and most importantly was clean. I slept really well, bed really comfortable. I will definitely stay again when visiting Camden. So easy and so reasonable.
Great hostel, very well maintained.
Good cabin but missing power plug
Very good idea of cabin beds, but but lack of power sockets is big minus, and light in the cabin was not working when I was there. Rest was very good.
This property is good for just a nice stay locsl to camden. Room was clean and bed comfortable. A little nosy due as dorms were above the room .
Great location, right down the road from the KOKO Theater. Plus only 2 blocks from the Camden markets. Was very clean for me, and staff was very friendly. Got a good price on Expedia too! Would recommend any day!
Compact but good, only issue was the smell coming up the plughole in bathroom (ensuite room). Clean, very comfortable bed, great location.
What a little gem!
What a little gem! We stayed in a double en-suite room and it cost us less that £70. Spotlessly clean with air conditioning. A small room and tiny en-suite but a complete bargain. Reception staff lovely and accommodating
The location is very central in Camden and convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful. There was construction outside that was pretty loud early in the morning and the bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall the stay met my expectations.
Good value accommodation in good location
Good value for a private ensuite in Camden. Very clean, modern room - very comfortable bed. Capsule bathroom is small, but perfectly serviceable. No TV, tea/coffe facilities in the room which was fine by us - coffee, TV in shared room if needed and there is a kitchen. Breakfast is basic (cereal toast juice coffee) but okay to start the day and other options in the area if your prefer- kitchen is super clean. Only issue we had was the request for photo I'd at check in: it's not clear in the info that this is essential - it says they *may* ask for ID (They mention credit card which we thought would be enough) and would request a deposit. They insisted on passport/photo driving license/ID card (no deposit tho). Receptionist was very polite about it, and luckily I had a photo of my passport which she accepted, but they should be clearer as to their requirements.
Clean and cosy peaceful room. Great breakfast and location. Good value.
I'd definately stay again and would recommend.
A very comfortable stay. The room was clean, the ensuite bathroom was spotless. Each bed has a single USB socket but no mains plug socket, ther was 3 main sockets in the room however. The only thing that would have improved my experience would be having a wall mirror near the plug sockets to allow us ladies to straighten our hair and do our make up, particularly if the bathroom is busy. I'd definately stay again and would recommend.
Great place to stop
Great place to stop, clean and comfortable, great position for a stay in Camden
Really recommend!!
room smelled like feet, toilet area had no space even for my skinny partner let alone a 5’10 male. didn’t even last 1 hour in the place. went and walked around London at midnight looking for a hotel.
Fair value for money
Fair value for money, the hotel is clean. Was in a 6 bed room, feels a bit small, having 3 superposed beds makes the room crammed. The locker is quite small. Overall good for a few nights provided you are comfortable with confinement.
Amazing place
Very friendly staff , nice and cosy. Great location. This place is perfect and makes you feel home.
I'll b back
and I was running a conference close by--staying in a Hostel was a brand new experience for me. I was plesantly surprised. The staff was great. The place was clean & comfortable. I will definitely use it again
All was good
Very happy with everything very.clean and quiet 2 min walk to.camden high.street
Bed bugs infested
The hostel is infested with bed bugs. The cleaning team is really rude and complains all day long.
Ants in the cupboards and draws
Clean. Friendly atmosphere from staff. Took a while to get comfy. The bunk beds were a bit full on. But baring in mind the price and location....a small sacrifice. I will stay here again.
I had a brilliant time!! i love coming to stay in London and this is one of my top fave places to stay at. Its a brilliant location and really cheap prices. Looking forward to coming again!!
It’s what you pay for. Clean and tidy enough
Very crowded, inadequate kitchen provision
The first night I got there I was met by a lovely receptionist who told me i had been upgraded to a bed in a female dormitory when I had booked a bed in a mixed dormitory. They had also thrown breakfast in. The dorm is pretty much as the pictures shown, 9 beds in three sets of 3-high bunks in a small space. There are 4 floors but the kitchen is very small with only a 4 ring hob, a fridge and a microwave. When we first went in I opened the fridge door and was upset to find there was no space but the receptionist made me some that was just big enough to take my cool bag full of food so stuff getting misplaced wasn't an issue for me. I was quite shaken by the attitude of one of the other male staff, who just said dead pan, 'there's no space', no smile, no apology or anything. Later when I asked him a question behind the reception desk he was the same. I found it a bit difficult to relax, there were cameras everywhere, the kitchen was only open between 7 am and 11.30 pm and we were not allowed to take food and drink into the bedrooms. Having said all that, it could have been much worse and for the price it wasn't too bad. 9 people in one small dorm, very good for developing empathy and patience if you are used to your own space as I am.
Really cramped rooms. Curtains are nice though.
Location 10/10 otherwise great condition considering the pricing, shower could be cleaned more and personally should've chosen a room with less people to sleep better. Thought the bed (bunk) on the floor was a little bit too low for my liking. Nice and friendly staff.
Noisy night
Got stuck in check in.. n then noise from the road.
After seeing the first photo of the 6-bed room, I thought that the beds would not be stacked in threes, but they actually were (I checked the second photo now and it's the right one.), which is very tight space. Area is nice, decent wifi, some sociable people were passing through.
Horrible Stay
Unfortunately this was my worst hostel experience to date. The location is great, but I also didn't realize the rooms were unisex. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but my second night, I was the only female in a room with six very drunk males, and it was extremely uncomfortable. They got in at 2:30am when I was fast asleep, woke me up, cracked lewd jokes, and generally made me feel very nervous. I pushed on to sleep, but reported the situation the next morning, first to a male at the front desk, who just looked at me blankly and didn't do anything, and then to a female staff member, who took it very seriously. By that point I was in tears because if how nervous I had been through the night. Most women understand how nerve-wracking it is and how to deflect and nervously laugh along at lewd jokes so you don't become a real target. This female staff member understood, so I felt she handled the situation very well. I can't say I would recommend this hostel, though, unfortunately, since I had such a miserable night of nerves. My advice to the hostel would be to strongly consider the gender balance in a room and NOT stick a woman alone with six men.
Great hostel.
For a hostel it was great and excellent value. Clean, warm, lockers. Very small rooms tho and the rooms would be better with some soft lighting rather big lights when switched on at night. Great location. The staff were fabulous.
You get what you pay. Didn't expect a lot from a hostel and that's excatly what I've got. It is worth to stay here since you don't have to walk far to go out clubbing. That is the only plus.
Worst hostel experience - pay for everything
This was my worst hostel experience. At the check-out I just asked to leave my bag for only 2 hours they tried to charge me with £2 (website shows free) In room locker £1,5/day, you can not leave your laptop at the reception, when you want to go out. Room is small, there is no storage area, everything on the floor. Room is crowded. Breakfast is basic but ok just the orange juice like chemicals. Small kitchen. The Camden area is really good you can find everything.
No sleep and uncomfortable beds
Very noisy. beds were uncomfortable. Could not get a good night sleep. Shower water sprayed over to the toilet area so the floor was soaking
Just ok
6 bed dorm was tiny, you can expect to sleep with your luggage. Hind sight, I probably would have spent the extra couple of pounds and stayed at St.Chistiphers around the corner.
Very cheap accommodations, but also quite cramped
The rooms, hallways, stairways are very small, but kept clean. The bed is also barely big enough for me to fit. I am 6 feet tall. Breakfast is toast or cereal. Generally a good, cheap, no frills place to stay.
It was OK
Great hostel, friendly, efficient staff !
As far as hostels go it ticks all the boxes.
Simple, no frills hostel. Remember to bring a towel along, or they can also be purchased at reception if you don't have one.
Cheap and adiquate
Needed somewhere to sleep for a night after some music and this place was just the job, being so close to Camden high street.
Low-quality, over-priced hostel
The facilities of this hostel are dirty and tiny. They have something I've never seen before - triple bunk beds, meaning the bottom bunk is literally at the level of the ground. The rooms are tiny, and you are forced to make up your own bed upon arrival (with stained linens, no less). My room was adjacent to the street - the window was kept open and noise was constant late into the night. Location is great if you're interested in Camden, but if you're looking for a base for a general London trip, this is not your best bet. Bright spot of the stay was breakfast, one of the best hostel breakfasts I've experienced. Would all be better if the price point was correspondingly low, but alas, it was not - cost of a Sunday night corresponded to that of busier nights at nicer hostels I've stayed at in London.
Not bad but bit of a squash
Wifi temperamental, Washing machine out of order and the receptionist smokes underneath your open windows. Cash deposit is very inconvenient - why can't they use credit card as everyone else is a mystery... Other than that it was great, all you would normally expect from BackPackers.
Happy
Reasonable room/bed. Did serve the purpose
Nice weekend stay
Pleasant stay with friends, everything was ok, rooms, corridor and kitchen a bit narrow and cramped but ok.
Crash out
Crash out for 1 night after a music gig. Ok for that!
The hotel is really small. Narrow staircase, low ceiling. Don't go in there if you are claustrophobic. No enough space in the kitchen during breakfast. Room smelled bad. Cleanliness ok. They clean the toilets several times a day.
You get what you pay for.
Just a place to hole up for the night - don't expect anything more. The walls are thin and the 4 person rooms are in the basement beside a common room with TV. Bring earplugs.

friendly staff, comfy and clean beds and good common area. thin walls so could hear alot of noise above and all around me so slept with headphones- but this is usual for a hostel really. would stay again on my next visit! good stay reflective of cheaper price
