Absolutely lovely stay at the Sir Toby’s Hostel. Pros: - Walking distance to Old Town (half hour) or right next to the trams. - Brilliant breakfast for only a couple of euros. - Very comfortable; music and tv in the social area/bar, rooms were good temperature, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. - Very informative staff. Absolutely lovely, spoke great english and were very helpful. Cons: Really clutching at straws here to find flaws. There wasn’t any onsite parking they could offer but they did offer a discount on an app called MrParkit, which is an app that offers fairly priced parking spaces. Would 100% stay here again if I’m back in Prague

Nice and friendly

Everything was excellent except the mosquitos above my bed - not sure what can be done to improve that though. I really enjoyed the downstairs bar and the beds were super comfortable. The reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked the place, very easy to get to public transportation. Enjoyed meeting many people! Definitely needs a little more TLC.

Good environment, young people around

There was no AC and room was hot. They have left window open. Overnight reception was not that welcome. Building was old and needed major renovation.

The layout is fantastic! With ~150 beds and the common areas, you get to hang and meet other travelers. Everything was very clean, beds were just ok comfort wise. The downstairs bar was great.

SUPERBE À TOUT POINT DE VUE! Sauf pour la cuisine collective qui est à l’étroit, et un peu bordélique, rien à améliorer. L’accueil, particulièrement à Prague où l’air bête est la règle, et non l’exception, est génial 100% du temps. Tous les employés, sans exceptions (séjour de 6 jours) ont été super!!

Solo Trip to Prague

Clean modern hostel. Convenient and close to both train stations in Prague. This hostel is about a mile and a half from city center. Everything that you need is close by. They are very friendly and helpful. I took a day trip to Ceska Lipa, staff very helpful with information on how to get to destination.

Cozy little hostel for a good price

Very nice hostel, very comfortable. Breakfast was very complete even though you had to pay for it. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Great place!

I enjoyed my stay here. They're conveniently located within short walking distance from the light rail, there are a few restaurants and stores nearby, and the place was very clean overall. The pub is great, excellent prices and a neat atmosphere. Good breakfast too, worth the price. In the evenings each day, they have a fun free event (each day is different) for everyone at the hostel if they want to join. I recommend this one and will stay here again if I come back to Prague.

Ideal location close to my daughter

First time staying in a hostel and the experience was better than I thought. It was nice that they have female only rooms, so I felt safe as the toilet/bathroom facilities were shared only with the girls in room.

Not bad for a couple of nights

Very good location easy to take tram to downtown... bed was ok. The guess service was very good the first girl at frontdesk was super polite n show me every single spot to visist it was overwarming. Then I had a help ffom this Indian boy really nice he borrowed me a charger for my phone straight away.... the room was big but not really clean super smelly but I guess that was cause there were 4 boys in the room n because of the strong smell they left the windows open all night. The shower was quite messy with the boys stufd but its not the Hostel faul is the guess we need to be more organized n clean.

This hostel us beautiful, friendly, safe, and clean. Equipped with a basement bar and nightly events to get to know your other travelers. It’s a bit far to walk to the castle and old town after a long day of touring, but the tram stops on the street right around the corner and is super convenient. Very comfortable and would highly recommend.

Social environment without all the crazy

Great hostel, friendly people and great location if you want a less touristy area. I wish the front desk staff was more helpful. Felt like I was wasting their time. Bar staff was great though! Tip them!!

Quiet, clean hostel.

The hostel is north of the central core of Prague, which makes for a quiet stay. Ideally situated for a longer trip. There’s a couple of funky places within a few blocks, however for an overnight trip I’d try to stay closer to the center of town. The hostel was clean and well kept! The women’s room was big (no bunk beds!).

Cute hostel, a bit far

Sir Toby’s was a fun place. The bed and room was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty clean, although we could’ve used extra- there were two showers shared between 2 8-bed dorms. The coolest was the bar! The staff was great, but it’s about a 25 minute tram ride from the old town

Very friendly hostel

Really great staff and the private room we booked was HUGE - very clean and comfortable, a great place to stay.

The hostel itself was great with convenient toilets and showers outside your room. The reception staff were really helpful. The only down side was the cleaning staff, they made me feel like I shouldn't be in the room when they cleaned and they were pretty dismissive. The location isn't prime, but it's only a few tram rides away from centre

Great hostel near subway

Great clean hostel that's a two-minute walk from the subway. Walking distance to bunches of shopping and restaurants. No airconditioning, so in the summer it's very hot. It's across the street from this cool outdoor market with lots of food choices. The breakfast wasn't much to brag about though. If you love bread, bread and more bread, you'll love it.

Staff are fantastic

The staff were always professional and thorough in helping guests. The staff 's enthusiasm contributed to an energetic and positive atmosphere.

Comfortable but basic

Generally friendly staff, happy to help with directions, taxis etc. You can buy breakfast as an add on, there was a bit of a range (cereals, toast, pancakes, eggs), although not helpful if you need specialist food like soya milk. Only downside is that the walls are a bit thin so you can hear the lift bell and landing noise quite clearly. But otherwise generally comfortable and close to trams for travel into the centre.

Totally worth staying at

This was the second time I stayed at Sir Toby's and again it didn't disappoint. This place is great the beds are extremely comfortable sheets are high quality. The bathrooms have been renovated, although they where a little dirty this time around. Some of the staff weren't that nice but large majority where AWESOME which is great.

Best Hostel I have visited

This place is incredible the ambience which is in the halls ways is great, the bar is in the basement and it really is funky. I stayed 3 nights and had a ball the people who also stayed at this hostel where awesome everyone got along and fun. There wasn't too many people which was great. The beds are so good I cannot express my gratitude to Sir Toby's for providing such great beds & bedding! The bathrooms are renovated and the shower has so much pressure I was literally in shower heaven. Things they could improve on 1. Put a mat in the bathroom to avoid people slipping on a wet floor 2. Washing Machine & Dryer could be upgraded. The breakfast is great for the price as well & they pro dive eggs and fry pans so you can cook them how you like, it is really cheap as well. All round best hostel experience yet!

cool vibe hostel

I chose Sir Toby's as most hotels were booked on the weekend of my recent visit to Prague. I was not happy about having to stay in a hostel, until I got there. Close to the tram line, and away from the noise of the city centre (but not too far), Toby's staff were welcoming and the private room was large and clean. Huge bathroom. Cool vibe all over the place. Made me feel young again. And, on the Saturday night there was a free BBQ! Why? I don't know. But it was free, so I indulged. Thanks Sir Toby's. I'll come back and do it again.

Sir Toby's hostel!

I loved the rooms , especially the 6-bed female dorm as it was exactly like how the pictures were like, cleanliness uncompromised and attic-design all as the pics were! I love how they make the floors wooden and all and the in-house pub very cellar-like, coupled with the brick walls and all. Very warm and cosy , old-town feel! Especially grateful for how the 3-tiered bunk beds were made of solid metal frames whereby the beds did not creak nor shake as much as a normal bunk bed would. Very sturdy and secure! Thumbs up* Sir Toby's for the condition of the rooms and hostel! Only thing is that the Hostel Staff could have been more forthcoming and approachable with new visitors, showing them the place and talking to them more. That would have been good!

Good vibes hostel

Room was clean , good comfortable beds , shared bathroom was clean. Look of the hostel was old and unique. Breakfast was nice and the basement bar as a nice place to hangout in. Location was not the best , a bit far from old town. but the most and pretty much only significant problem for me was the lack of hot water to shower with in the morning. told about this to the staff but it seems that's a known problem since it is an old building. Other than that , pretty good hostel.

Very modest accommodation for very modest cost

What I most appreciated about the hotel was how close it was Paralelni Polis, the center of the cryptocurrency movement in Prague. I attended a bitcoin meetup there and visited the institution several times. I also appreciated the local shops, which included many groceries selling produce. A convenient tram runs between the area and downtown (daypass was 109 Czech Krona). There is a 24/7 person on duty at the reception, and I found those people to be very helpful. There was no room service, however. although I didn't want any. The room was very minimal: a bed, a sink, and a cabinet. Bathroom was shared with one neighboring room. Air conditioning consisted of a fan in the room. The hostel provided breakfast between 8 am and noon for 150 Czech Korona. There was no fitness center, which is something I usually require, but I made an exception in this case. Being a hostel, the occupants were mostly young people.

I'm Batman Seriously a good stay, the bar crawl was amazing. The hostel has character, and beds are comfy and clean. It can get a little hot the higher your bunk bed is. I'd go again, but probably with a private room instead of a 12 person dorm. Also had the best breakfast for any hostel I've been to. Not too pricey but all you can eat, and you can prepare it any way you want.

Great location, price and staff. Condition of room is excellent! So clean and comfortable. Only criticism is that you had to make your own hot breakfast. This has changed since I first stayed there.

A short trip to city centre, but an awesome place.

This place was a really enjoyable experience. The staff were really friendly, and awesome bar tenders who were a lot of fun. There's just a really good atmosphere here. When I was there the downstairs bar was always pumping. The room is tidy enough and the bed is comfortable. Sometimes the shower water pressure and temp fluctuated, but you have to expect things like that in a hostel. The location is away from must of the tourist spots, but a 10 min tram trip will get you to them. And the trams are very close and easy to use. Spoke to a few seasoned travellers and they raved about this place. I must say if I return to Prague I'll be staying again.

Bueno por el precio

El hostal está muy bien localizado, me quedaría de nuevo por eso. El baño tenía mal olor, parece que los huéspedes orinan en el inodoro, pero como lo usamos a diario, lo pasamos. El sitio está bien por el precio y es para gente joven. Hay un bar abajo y cocina comunitaria; también hay desayuno, pero es caro; en la calle se come mejor. La cama tenía un colchón muy duro. Por la noche era silencioso y tranquilo. Te dan de regalo una cerveza para tomar gratis de 18:00 a 20:00, vale la pena.

Basic 6-bed room without privacy. Windows didn't go shut and curtains were much too small for the window, so not for late sleepers. Lots of ambulances or polices going right past at nights, and it was kind of loud in 1st floor with open windows. There was towel for rent and possibility to wash and dry clothes for ~1h of each at total cost of ~8€. Drier didn't dry my clothes so I spread them in room, and it didn't take long until someone from staff came to pressure me to get them out of sight, or he will do it for me. As if he was talking to a child. When I told him drier didn't work he assumed I either couldn't read or follow simple written instructions. He came later and was apologetic + offered free redrying, but I didn't want to use whole day trying to get my clothes done. Washing program left streaks of detergent on my clothes. Wasted money. Breakfast could have been value for money, but the one time I visited everything was overcooked. First time ever I got on a bad mood during a stay because of staff. He realised it and tried to fix things, so an extra star for that.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte da Sir Toby's e abbiamo trovato una camera ampia con bagno privato. L'ostello si trova in una posizione strategica, siamo state ad un concerto in una venue a 5 minuti a piedi ed è stato perfetto. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. C'è anche un pub al piano interrato.

I thought the room was very nice, clean, and the bathroom too. The shared kitchen, however, was pretty filthy and messy.

Mein Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt leider der von mir ursprünglich gebuchte Hostel konnte mich nicht aufnehmen daher wurde ich in eine super tolle 4-Sterne boutique hotel einquartiert alles hat reibungslos geklappt und ich konnte auch bereits um 11 Uhr morgens einchecken ich werde Hirte Zeit wiederkommen und allem Reisenden empfehlen

Un lugar muy bonito, todos los recepcionistas te ayudan mucho y son muy amables, esta muy bien conectado y a pocos pasos pasan tres o más diferentes tranvías, el único problema en las piezas compartidas que te puede tocar compartir con personas algo ruidosas y desagradables, la última noche llegó un grupo de chicas que la verdad no dejaron dormir en toda la noche sin embargo eso no es culpa del hostal por lo que solo fue mala suerte

Atendimento excepcional!!

Excelente estadia!! Tem um ótimo custo-benefício, é seguro, e o atendimento é excepcional. No último dia, inclusive, meu vôo saia a noite da cidade e eu não tinha onde ficar até umas 21h (estava cansada e já tinha visitado tudo o que eu queria). Então pude ficar na área comum (que inclusive tem redes de descanso e wi-fi) até esse horário, sem problema nenhum, o que pra mim contou muitos pontos a mais! Percebi que outros hóspedes fizeram o mesmo. P.S.: O café da manhã servido tem muitas opções veganas. Então, se você for vegano, também é uma opção incrível de estadia!!

Nous avons adoré nos 5 nuits au Sir Toby's. Super facile d'accès, près des lignes de tramway. Le quartier est sécuritaire. Le personnel est très gentil.L'employée qui s'occupe de la terrasse et de l'animation le soir est super sympathique. Nous étions au 3e étage. c'était super tranquille. Il y a une salle de bain complète (toujours extra propre) pour deux chambres. La seule chose que nous avons moins apprécié est que nous avons demandé de l'aide pour aller visiter Terezin et l'employé disait ne pas connaitre ça et ne pas savoir comment nous aider. Nous avions des questions sur le transport pour y aller, mais il ne semblait pas intéressé à nous aider.

Etablissement agréable, accueil parfait. Très bien situé, à proximité du tramway et proche du centre-ville.

Sehr schnuckelige Unterkunft, mit Küche und Gemeinschaftsraum zum entspannten sssen und Abend genießen, Unterkunft nicht direkt in Stadtmitte, aber gut Anbindung. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!
