Comfortable and clean property with a rustic feel. Convenient location close to Glacier.
Clean, friendly staff, nice location.
Absolutely loved this place!!! Could not have asked for better accommodation so close to Glacier Park entrance. Our little cottage was quaint and cute and had everything we needed. Loved all the little touches in the gardens - tiny streams and little cabins. Donna at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and even went out of her way to pack us a basket so we didn’t go hungry in the park. Cannot recommend this place enough!! If we ever travel this way again I am coming here to stay again
Cabin was beautiful. Breakfast was a disappointment.
Need to advertise that the breakfast is muffins and coffee.
It’s a lovely log cabin with basic amenities. The staff is very friendly. The cabin was comfortable for a solo traveler.
We were surprised at how loud the trains were at night. We did not expect that so it was a distraction at night. Also it says ‘breakfast ‘ is included. Breakfast consisted of a tray of be muffins in the office. No one was in the office when we arrived. The key was in the room. No one around when we left as well. I had to call a few times to get a receipt emailed to me.
Lovely little property close to Glacier! Great cabin for home base when hiking all day. Just note, there's no A/C. It was fine for me because it cooled off quite a bit at night, but I can see where sometimes it could get stuffy.
Really neat cabins in a cool setting close to west entrance. Mattress was pretty soft. Nice fire pit in gazebo but only large logs, no kindling or starter.
Could not have chose a better place to stay
Easy to find, comfy bed, roomy cabin, very quiet till a train goes by and nice and close to park entrance. I would stay there again.
Like close to park and cabin interior. Did not like overall maintenance of exterior and unavailable office staff.
It was a really nice cabin with bathroom/shower, worked perfect for our visit to Glacier National Park.
Very nice little cabin
Very accessible right off the highway. Very pleasant staff
Great location for going to Glacier National Park. Cabins are nice and contained everything I needed except had a poor internet signal so could not use the wifi.
Very beautiful and peaceful. Location to GNP entrance was awesome.
Lovely private cottage with comfortable bed and a unique heated stove that was thermostat controlled. Upon arrival there was a friendly person to get us checked in and let us know about parking etc. We had difficulty closing and opening the door....cabin 3. We also found the showerhead very poor and difficult to control...the water pressure was so strong that more water ended up on the walls and the floor than on the person inside the shower. It would have helped to have access to coffee stirs / coffee cup lids / napkins and/or plasticware or something similar given the availability of the coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Had a spill and couldn't clean up coffee easily without using towels! While the office was unlocked and provided a few continental breakfast items (muffins / snack bars), there was never anyone in the office to ask questions or make request. Even upon checking out it wasn't clear where to leave the key so we just set it on the counter.
Everything was great except he Wi-Fi was poor and the tv stations were very limited.
We loved the private cabin. Decorated well and convenient to GNP. The breakfast was small, and left in the office to take what you wanted on your way out each morning. Fresh coffee, frozen muffin to heat in cabin, granola bars and fresh fruit if desired. When the temp hit 85 degrees one day we asked how the Honeywell thermostat on our cabin wall worked and were told it wasn’t hooked up as there was no a/c! It was a bit deceiving but the temperature was nice except for that one day! Good experience for the most part!
Trip of a life time
The cabin was no cutie, super great staff. Very nice area close to Glacier. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not really breakfast. Coffee and only a muffin. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and drinking my coffee.
Perfect location and accommodations. I did think we were getting two twin beds but that was not available. However, they were very helpful in getting us a cot and bedding for together. Would love to go back one day!!
What a charming cabin! It was very roomy and sooo cozy. Very clean and modern in its furnishings. I loved the fireplace heating especially on the very chilly rainy day that turned into quite cold snow at Logan’s Pass on our Red Bus tour.
It was very nice. I didnt know there was coffee available in the office until I checked out.
It was a neat, rustic cabin with plenty of room for two. Electricity went out due to a storm but was restored pretty quick actually. Not the most comfortable chairs inside. Very nice front porch area.
Lovely Cabins
What a lovely place to stay near Glacier. Well furnished and clean, comfortable cabins. Perfect respite after a day in the park.
It was a nice place blister to GNP. However the bathroom toilet ran all night. Over priced for what you receive.
I loved our stay here, the only bad part was went it was time to check out. A perfect little cabin in the woods, great for couples.
Cabins was conveniently located.
Git in late, called office left message. Two minutes I received a call for access to our room. It was so clean and comfortable.
Couples hiking trip
Cute, cozy, clean, and quite cabin for two. Has small fridge, microwave, and tv with satellite. 10 minutes from West Glacier entrance, couldn’t beat it, was so convenient. Check in girl was super friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area.
These cabins are wonderful! It felt so homey, quiet and beautiful. We did the "pay at hotel" option, which I wouldn't recommend, because apparently only the owner processes payments, and we never saw him, so that was a bit of a hassle. We stayed 5 nights and it couldn't be closer or more convenient to West Glacier! Beautiful place. Would definitely come back. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Really nice place for couples.
Beautiful cabin, but impossible to sleep there
Pros - Nice cabin. Great location to the West gate. Nice, spacious shower and kitchen table. Cons - very uncomfortable bed, sheets get lose when sleeping so you end up sleeping directly on the mattress. Shower head is too small, The WiFi goes out frequently and you have to walk to office to reconnect it. This makes it impossible to use a Roku or Firestick. The absolute worst part is the trying to sleep with the noise. There is a train that comes through behind the cabin 24x7 and blows the horn each time. The highway car noise (including loud motorcycles) is horrible. The property also has loud sprinklers that go off at 6 AM each morning.
Nice place to stay but a little train noise when the windows are open. But the train does come through the valley with highway 2 so I’m sure it is the same everywhere in that pass.
Close to glacier
Clean and comfortable. Cute, cabins. We loved it. Stayed three nights
No breakfast as was advertised. No maid service during stay. A few glitches in the room—overhead lights out but fixed 2nd day. Difficult access to coffee maker, need to unplug and move to a more accessible location. Some highway noise.
they had not internet unless you stand outside the office and they advertised a breakfast but the office for it was locked until way after 8 am
The cabin was perfect. I did include in my booking reservation that I wanted twin beds, but it had one Queen. Otherwise a great place to stay.
Pristine Stay
One of the best properties I have stayed at. Pristine! I would highly recommend to anyone to book if it is available. The cleanliness was impeccable! The beds are super comfortable and we also ended up seeing some deer around the lodge.
Sweet and Comfortable
Friendly, helpful staff. Cabins are small but clean and very close to West Glacier entrance. Wi-fi service on property is weak—we had to go sit outside the office to access it and no air conditioning in cabins. Not huge issues but something to be aware of.
The cabins are nice, clean, and well taken care of. The property is 10 minutes drive from the Glacier park. You can here a noise from the highway and a passing by train but it is ok if you are not a light sleeper. Overall it is a good place, maybe a bit overpriced.
Nice cabins. Clean and well maintained.
Great Area
We loved the area. Cute. Firepit to hang out with family. The cabin beds were super comfy but it was difficult to sleep due to heat. No air conditioning. No breakfast even though it was part of stay. We tried going after 8am but office was locked. Train noise. However, the hospitality was amaxing. This place is less than ten minutes to West Glacier entrance. Pros outweigh cons.
We would definitely stay here again Nice place in the trees and 6 miles from Glacier entrance
Was such a pleasant experience and beautiful place to stay!!
Beautiful property. Terrible mattress quality.
The log cabin was immaculate. We had a nice stay. But the mattress was SO uncomfortable. It was so soft that if you turned over on your stomach, your body made a V shape.
Great little cabin. The front porch needed repair but other than that it worked great for us.
I read several reviews before booking here. Some complained about train whistles at night. We slept with the windows open and we did hear the trains while awake but not while sleeping. In my mind it actually added to the ambiance. Some complained about the road noise. Did not hear it at all in my cabin Some complained about the continental breakfast. It was more of a grab and go. They had apples, oranges, muffins, granola bars and coffee which was fine for us. The only valid complaint was that the WiFi really did not work at all. If you sat by the check in cabin you could connect but no signal in your cabins. In reality though when you are in a cabin in the woods do you really need WiFi? The checkin process was easy and the woman, unfortunately I forgot her name, was excellent and personable. The grounds were nice and there were trees and natural vegetation throughout. The only negative was that they are not air conditioned but at night it cooled off nicely. I would definitely stay here again!
Close to Glacier NP and well kept. No AC.
Cabins are clean and nicely decorated with a rustic vibe. Quiet property, restful stay.
Close to Pak entrance
Loved our stay - will be back!
The property is very well maintained, though some of the native plants growing around the cabins were a little high. The cabin was nicely decorated and clean. A breakfast snack is offered, but the office does not open until 8:00 and we left long before that time. It seems like the breakfast, which is just granola bars, could be just left in the cabin instead of the office.
So so hot and stuffy. Couldn’t open windows due to tips in screen which allow the 20 flys and bees we killed back in. Very cute to look at but would never stay again or recommend
Loved the cabins. Clean, quiet and well maintained.
The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Loved the cabin. The WiFi is non-existent, even if you are sitting next to the office. This feature should be removed.
Good
Pros Super close to the west glacier entrance. Good size room Nice to have a mini fridge Easy to check in Bed was comfortable Appreciated the ceiling fan since there’s no AC which is not uncommon Cons Breakfast Both days we went to the office by 8am and nothing was left. So don’t count on it. The cushions for the chairs need to be replaced badly. They’re very stained and grungy Neutral Road noise yes but it never kept us awake We used our white noise on our phone and had no issues Never did see anyone in the office Which was fine by me but if you’d needed assistance not sure how you’d get it WiFi sucks Never could get it to connect but we had 3 bars with Verizon so no issues Cost I’m neutral about this It was $150 more per night than the previous place we stayed which had more amenities AND I also get this is a small town and the location is what you’re paying for.
No real good options close by. Their breakfast was a muffin and a cup of coffee. We went to the Paul Bunyan bar and grill and ordered hot wings. After 40 minutes of waiting the waitress came over and told us the food would be awhile longer. Sorry but I’m not waiting for an hour for wings, Especially when the place was 1/2 full. Silver wolf had nice cabins, Queen beds and no A/C. Not worth $$$ a night The cabins had no amenities on property and we had to park in their Nieghbor’s yard
Would stay here again and again
Awesome place, quite clean and location was great
The cabins are great and the setting is nice but it’s close to a road with a 70 mph speed limit so it’s noisy when you’re sitting outside on your deck. Also just fyi breakfast consists of store bought muffins.
I give it one star because I could not anything less. It claimed there is breakfast. Which is a jug of lukewarm black coffee, some granola bars, some ice-cold muffins, and some cold apples. We stayed four nights. Nobody cleaned the place, or cleaned the trash for our whole stay. The bed was so high that my 5 ft. 2 in tall wife could not get on the bed. I could not lift her up. I went to the office to ask for a step stool. There was none. The elderly lady who was running the office was able to find a wooden box to use as a step stool to get on the bed. The bed was so soft that it made a big trough as soon as one got on it. Then it became a problem trying to get out of the bed. There are ten log cabins strewn around their property mostly covered by wood chip mulch and weeds. There is practically no WiFi in the room. One has to go across the yard to the deck next to the office to pick up some very weak sporadic WiFi internet signal. The TV was not working. It took a couple of days for the mechanic to come over and get the TV working. I would avoid this property like the plague.
Good Stay
It appears as if this place use to be much better, but now they have lost some of their charm. They have scaled back on amenities, food, and cleanliness from what I could see.
Our visit to Glacier National Park had us arriving and leaving at odd times. Check in was accommodating. The cabin was spacious.
Great cabins and great staff, will stay here if ever in the area again
Great location for visiting Glacier National Park, and close to Columbia Falls with great restaurants, and shopping.
Dont expect coffee or a continental breakfast. Cabin was adorable!
Cabin life in comfort
Wonderful experience Comfortable Clean Quiet loved the decor
The propery was cute and could have been nice and cozy but a few things were not right. The shower had a leak and a drip from the faucet making noise. We were told the plumber was coming the next day to fix it, they did not. My husband fashioned a ramp system to stop the noise. We were not offered any apology for this inconvenience. There was not staff on the property from 6 pm until 9:30 am. There was no breakfast provided the first day, but muffins were brought in the second day. They need to step up their game a little.
The promised amenities were lacking, but still ok.
We were really excited to find a little cabin close to West Glacier for our visit. When we booked it, the amenities stated continental breakfast included. Well, if you consider 2 muffins, an apple, an orange and two granola bars 'Breakfast' well, there's that. And we were also promised maid service every day with new breakfast items resupplied, fresh towels, garbage emptied .... that DID not happen. When I asked the gal at the front desk, she told me that we would NOT be receiving that service. NONE OF IT. And that we could come to the office to help ourselves to muffins in the morning. Oh, and the office is NOT staffed 24-7 ... only until around 7:30pm. The remote didn't work for the satellite receiver. And we never did catch the gal to see if she could replace it. The Cabin WAS comfy and the gas 'wood' stove was a nice treat on the first night there that was cool and rainy. The shower and bathroom were updated. The bed was comfortable and the WIFI worked in our cabin near the office, but I am not sure if the other 9 cabins were so lucky. There is a grilling area available, but we did not take advantage of that. It was a quaint experience ... and better than staying in a chain hotel. The mountain experience was worth the minor inconveniences.
Very well maintained and quite property. Chalet is so well designed. Wanted to just stay there the whole day and relax.
The location to West Glacier entrance is a plus (less than 10 minutes)! Restaurants are within a 5-30 minute drive either direction on the main road. The cute cabin had everything we needed and we were impressed with Silverwolf Log Chalet Resort. A microwave, small fridge, comfortable beds and large showers made our 1 night stay comfortable. The only downfall was that the office was not open when stated that it would be open (8am-7pm) and the checkout time is a half hour earlier than what was stated on our reservation. Fortunately, the earlier checkout wasn’t a problem for us since we went out for an early morning hike. The office not being open at 8am made it so that we were not able to grab a muffin and piece of fruit for breakfast.
Very beautiful area and cute cabin! Highly recommend this to everyone!
We have returned to this property for the second time. It is excellent! Very friendly very clean very nice environment!
Property was clean, location is really nice. Front desk person was very nice and welcoming. Very nice touch with the small bags of ice. Yes there is train noise occasionally, its not an issue. Bed was extremely soft and not for a wore out back. Its a one room setup with a partial wall between the bathroom and the main room. There is no bathroom privacy. The shower has extremely high water pressure and blows water everywhere, I tried for three mornings to stop the water from getting on the floor, couldn’t fix it. The front door drags and you can see light around it when closed.
Cabin life in comfort
Wonderful experience Comfortable Clean Quiet loved the decor
I loved this cabin!!!! It was so cute and spacious. I loved the porch except the nats. But it was a wonderful stay and would stay there again ❤️
Loved our stay here. Quiet and nice. Only one thing, I will they would have replenished our coffee and took out the trash. We were only there for two nights. Overall very nice.
The mattress we slept on felt like it was from the 70's, the bedding was stained and wore out. Plus, there's a train that comes through at night, whistle and all. We were booked for 2 nights but left after one.
Kent the caretaker was an excellent host who provided great advice on sights to see and places to see.
Excellent location. Clean and very cute. Extremely relaxing.
Was a fantastic stay. Very quiet cabin. Perfect for our getaway.
The property was very cute - little individual cabins. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like was that we had bugs in our room every day! One even crawled on my face at 3AM! I was traumatized! Lol. Other than that, it was what I would expect from a cabin in Montana. :)
Our forever place to stay when we come to Glacier
To be so close to glacier n.p this place blew me away with how beautiful the ranch is. The cabins were absolutely perfect. The staff was so good to us. We stayed Monday-Thursday and was able to use the fire gazebo our last night stay. Absolutely recommend. And I will be back!
Clean Hostess not very friendly Breakfast was oat bran and an orange or apple no muffins Highway traffic and train was loud throughout the night
Definitely try this place!
We absolutely adore this place. Location is perfect for West Glacier. The cabins are super cute. And everyone I interacted with whether it was at the office, by phone, or by email responded quickly and super friendly. Wi-Fi is a little bit spotty, but it’s the mountains so it’s expected. Would 100% stay here again.
excellent service
I loved the log cabin and the decor inside. Really cute! The gas fireplace really kept the unit warm and cozy! It was perfect for what we needed. We forgot to buy bear spray for our hikes and they had them to borrow. We really appreciated that!!
Cabins are roomy and comfortable
The location was great relative to the park, airport, and restaurants. However, it is located very close to the railroad tracks, and the reains run frequently. We loved the electric 'wood' stove! The bed was very comfortable! We tried several times to check in with someone in the office, but the office was always closed.
We were very pleased with this cabin. However the refrigerator was noisy and kept us awake at times during the night. The mattress needs replacing. The front step was too small and loose causing a tripping risk. An added and unexpected convenience was the bear spray we we afforded at no cost. Very close to Glacier Park. Free ice was good but we did not need it. Cabin was clean and we left a tip. Fireplace/heater was effective as it got cold at night. I would reccommend this place to others visiting Glacier which was only a 7 minute ride by car. Parking was convenient to cabin. Donna was a very nice lady and receptionist at check in. Found this property on computer .
Very clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast items meant we didn't have to go out for food before hitting the park. Would stay there again.
Property is just as described and pics are accurate.
Cute cabin
The cabin was cute and comfortable. We stayed in mid-September so we didn't need to worry about air conditioning (which some prior guests commented on). The only thing that wasn't great was we were never left with clean towels, and we stayed 4 nights.
Silverwolf Log Chalet
Enjoyed our stay in a cozy and delightful log cabin. Appreciated the well stocked breakfast items.
Place is very cute and clean. I checked in late so they just left the key in the cabin. My only issue was there were no outside lights so it was hard to walk from the parking lot to the cabin at night time
The cabins are inside a beautiful property. The cabins are so spacious & comfortable.
Provided fruit, great huge muffins (2-kinds), etc. for breakfast, plus coffee, OJ, and milk - replenished daily in your room. The two chairs on the front porch are nice for relaxing and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is spacious and the furnishings appropriate. Would consider staying here again if we ever go back to Glacier National Park. While the bed was made daily, they did not empty the trash and the floor could have been cleaner. The turn-in to the property is difficult to find, even when you've already been to the property. A small, solar night lite in the bathroom would do wonders.
Wonderful cabin so cute. Quiet area,

Close to Glacier NP. Cozy and so cute! A sweet retreat after a day of hiking. Comfy bed and quiet! I loved the little gas heater. Not a full kitchen but the microwave and fridge were great.
