Our family had booked a room with 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed. Upon check-in, we found only the king-size bed in the room. My husband went down to the reception. The staff said they would bring a single bed to the room, so my husband returned to the room. However, when the staff arrived, she only had a single bed linen and said that she couldn't install the bed because the room didn’t have one. She told us we would need to switch rooms. My husband went back down to the reception again. They said a room with an extra bed was available, but it would take time to set up the single bed, and we would need to wait. There was no apology. We had to wait for the new room to be ready, which was already past 11 PM. After the new room was prepared, my husband had to go down to the reception once more to return the key to the original room. Only then did they apologize, but when he expressed his frustration, they told him to leave a review if he was unhappy. I am in disbelief over the poor service attitude and incompetent management, as they didn't even know which room had which bed setup. Truly disappointing.

Excellent staff. I was reacting to the room spray they used and they moved me to a different room without carpet and with a window that opens. Excellent full breakfast with many options. Love the ginger shots and the beautiful seed breads. Petit croissants and pastries were very tasty.

I was very disappointed that the rooms did not have enough closet space or landline room phones. That is a no. In any emergency, how do I get immediate help? When l asked the matter, the answer was Scandic wanted it that way: to use my cell phone. Shame on them. Although I liked the staff and the excellent breakfast, I won't return because of this phone matter.

One of the managers was super helpful in getting my receipt information after having issues and he was really understanding and kind. The breakfast is amazing as well. Easy to get to from the airport with lots of food and shopping nearby

The hotel is in a great location next to a metro with lots of shops and dining options nearby. Breakfast had lots of varieties. The cafe and bar in the lobby was great to have. The full gym was also a nice bonus with plenty of space.

Only negative is no refrigerator in the room.

The breakfast was awesome. Everything was clean and the location was very convenient. There was a McDonald’s right across the street that was open 24 hrs and a 7-11 next door. The Zoo, Metro, Shopping Center were all nearby. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends. One of the Red bus tours goes right past the hotel and their bus stops are nearby too.

Just avoid.

We have just returned from a sunny weekend in Copenhagen. We found the hotel to be quite unpleasant. Firstly, the room was very small and dark. The bathroom was tiny. This was not what was shown on the photos. Secondly, the air conditioning was not working and the room was very uncomfortablly hot. We were unable to sleep. We asked management if we could be moved to a room with working air conditioning, which they reluctantly accommodated. This room was bigger and the air conditioning did work. I found the cleanliness of the hotel to be questionable. We asked several times for our room to ve cleaned and it just did not happen. When i asked again, only the very minimum cleaning was carried out. The floor was dirty and the overall look of the hotel rooms is quite dated. For balance, the lobby area is pleasant and it is close to the metro.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Made the stay pretty unbearable.

This property is in a brilliant spot for metro access. Also near shops, bistro/bar, Macdonalds.

Outstanding and very helpful staff in all areas from front desk to restaurant and bar!!! Located right next to the metro station for easy transport to airport and/or sightseeing in Copenhagen. Excellent restaurants and shopping right out the front door. Also excellent wheelchair access and wheelchair accessible rooms. The only shortcomings are if you are driving, as parking is limited--there is underground parking for the hotel, but it is shared with public parking--also there is zero handicap parking for the hotel. A minor point is the carpet, hallways and rooms are a bit 'long in the tooth'. They are clean, but could use some updating.

Fantastic location, so well connected with the 3 metro lines. The shopping mall next door was also amazing for buying food for the little one. The bathroom, and carpets could have been cleaner- so many stains left behind. While the rooms aren't cleaned everyday, the service was requested, and not done, leading to us waiting for an hour after dinner to have the room done.

Nice property. My only complaint is the temperature of the room was not well regulated despite adjusting the thermostat. The room was 76 degrees and would not cool down.

Right of the metro station which was very convenient. You most likely will need the metro to get to center city if you’re here for touring. Breakfast had a ton of options and was excellent. Rooms were relatively basic and generally clean. It worked well as a room to have during a conference and then out and about touring. Right near a park and shopping center.

Wonderful hotel

This hotel was lovely; quiet, breakfast that was amazing, nice staff, clean. The Frederickberg park nearby was the perfect remedy for jet lag. Would absolutely stay here again.

Es un hotel excelente

This appears to be a 70’s style decor hotel in downtown Fredericksburg. The small rooms are painted with very dark maroon color and curtains are also very dark maroon, all of which makes room feel even smaller. Shower drains were not draining well. Convenient underground parking.

Everything was great!!

An excellent hotel with helpful staff and services. The hotel is located near the center of Copenhagen with easy access to all the historic sights and attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Weekend Break

Reception staff were friendly and efficient and very informative. Breakfast however, was a bit of a free for all with no one checking us in and showing us to a table, we could have walked in off the street!!

We are used to the room is done every day. It was not done the first day and the receptionist said we had to ask for it. We are not used to that.

Great place !

Overall experience is great. I was there in May, and the weather was friendly, but there is no AC so I wouldn't recommend it for summertime. The room was great even though it was standard, with no fridge or coffee machine. Excellent shower and comfortable bed, blinds are dark enough for those who suffer from this issue. Best breakfast I've had and I'm traveling a lot.

This was our 5 th stay at The Scandic Falkoner, that says it all.

Perfect location for the metro. Very spacious restaurant and bar. Room was fine but no way to get fresh air in, got quite stuffy overnight. Breakfast buffet also very nice.

Nice hotel with a convenient location

Excellent location for a tourist trip. Next to a subway station. The bathroom is a little small but comfortable.

I like the location, its 3 mins walk to the Metro and Shopping mall. There are plenty of food/shops if you needs something quick Breakfast was really good.

Wouldn’t recommend

Arrived-immediately asking if we wanted a £350 approx upgrade, said no. Our stay was paid already- receptionist requested a credit card and said this was a security deposit. Said the room wasn’t ready because they didn’t know it was for 3 people, I showed her the receipt I had, said they would get the 3rd bed made up now (about 7pm). They came to do this and the bedding from the previous occupant hadn’t been removed, room was smelling of people having been there recently, bathroom floor dirty. Later that evening approached me to say they took payment again and would refund it, gave us 2 drinks vouchers as compensation. Rooms are very dark and small. Breakfast was the best part.

I would add to your listing that getting g in and out of the shower can be a hassle for folks that are not super mobile. It’s a tall step into the tub. Also, our room did not have bath towels.

Conveniently located to transport, restaurants, shops. Bathroom was very small.

This was my fourth stay at The Scandic Falkoner I think that says it all.

Lovely family trip

This hotel was a great home base for our family trip to Copenhagen. Decor was lovely, breakfast was solid, and our room was comfortable. I felt the staff made an effort to make sure we were comfortable

Close proximity to downtown either walking or close by metro. Breakfast was very good. Dinner selection very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean well equipped gym.

We had a nice stay, being next to the Metro station was plus. Breakfast was Ok. Room size is also good.

Excellent location, close to transport to central Copenhаgen, and an interesting area in its own right. Stylish lobby, excellent breakfast. Rooms are seriously too hot though (they don't really have AC), and though we were moved, the staff still didn't manage to put us into a room with an opening window, and it was rather uncomfortable.

Great hotel, lovely stay

Great room, plenty of space and large, comfy bed. A bit dark but that didn't rsally matter. The hotel generally was very nice, clean and lovely staff. Rhe cakes at the bar were amazing and worth the steep prices, but the beer not so much! (119DK or around £15 a pint!). Breakfast was very good, wide range and great quality. Avoid 9.30am as gets very busy! Hotel in a nice area, very close to Frederiksberg central station with great Metro connections.

Very convenient location with many things (restaurants, park, metro station, shopping) nearby. Nice breakfast that wasn’t chaotic despite the hotel being full. Quiet room and nice design. However, for this price range there were some key downsides too. They had two elevators and one was out of service the whole 5 days we stayed - long lines all the time. They don’t clean the room unless requested, which I fully support, but we asked for cleaning twice and only got new towels each time (old towels were not taken, sheets were not changed, floor was not cleaned, etc). Not a problem if you stay 1-2 nights, but as a family with a toddler in a small room, you need better service.

Modern and friendly

We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and quiet. There was a lively cafe and bar downstairs. The location is next to the Frederiksberg metro so it's quick and easy to go to the city centre. We enjoyed the neighborhood and there's shopping, parks and cafes within walking distance.

A very nice hotel , with a wonderful vibe

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Scandic Falkoner. Great room, super comfy beds and excellent shower. Staff were super friendly and helpful, only slight niggle was that we never got a shower mat throughout our stay. Great breakfast too. Located in really lovely area with great cafes and restaurants, the metro is literally round the corner and n me dies both the airport and city centre easily accessible. Will definitely return in the future - highly recommended!

Fun theatre theming, friendly staff, smallish rooms, but that's normal for europe.

We requested picking up the trash or at least giving us garbage bags and nobody came. The bathroom needed some cleaning. Location was great and so was breakfast if only they had oatmeal.

Great Hotel.

Once again we enjoyed our stay at the Scandic Falkoner. Easy to get to from Copenhagen airport. Check in was fast, lovely room comfortable bed. All staff were pleasant polite and really helpful, clean and comfortable. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Too tight and not functional

Very tight room with no closet.

A very funky looking hotel however the rooms do not have air conditioning and the ventilation was not running for a period of time during our stay. This and having no ability to open a window meant that the room was stuffy and v hot over night 26’c. The hotel is attached to a theatre and during our stay a number of shows where on stage. You have to put up with mass crowds of people around the hotel entrance when these shows run, noise and on occasions the fire alarm being triggered by the artificial smoke generators. This caused lifts to stop working and the remaining ventilation crash stopping. All in all it was an adventures stay but the staff where great when approached.

Loved the hotel. Room, staff, breakfast, location. There was nothing not to like.

Perfect stay

Clean comfortable stay for our family of 3. Restaurant on site was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the metro.

Nice area, nice hotel, great brekfast, tiny rooms

Nice hotel in the nice part of Copenhagen within walking distance to some attractions. Rooms are super small - from 120 sq.ft - so make sure you check square footage on other booking sites. Superior room is 160 sq.ft. and is very small for 3 people. Pull out sofa is not an american size sofa but a love seat with a twin size matress - tiny. I was suprised that room was quiet even next to the road with some traffic which is a huge advantage for us. At $250/night tiny room has no closet, no fridge, no microwave, just a cattle. Very nice breakfast but no fish like in Norway. The Hotel is right next to the Metro station which is very convenient. I would probably skip booking a car if I knew that Copenhagen has such a great public transportation system even outside the city excursions. There is a public parking garage 20 feet from the hotel garage entrance and 3 times cheaper than hotel parking. You can rent bikes ( electric or not) 10 times cheaper outside of the hotel if you want them just for a couple of hours.

Scandic Falkoner was so good that I will now look at hotels first, instead of airbnb, in future trips away. The staff made it really, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming, the reception gave us great advice on places to visit. The rooms were decent - nothing amazing but we only needed somewhere to sleep. The theme of the whole hotel was fun too. And the free breakfast was excellent. Fully recommend.

Long weekend in Copenhagen

Amazing hardware and higher quality than expected. Staffs are quite cold at times but maybe I’m too used to the warm and welcoming hospitality from other hotel groups like the Hyatt, Peninsula and around London and Hong Kong where I was born and raised… since our room is “normal” not upgraded. So there is no kettle in the room and have to go to lobby for hot water. There is no mini fridge or body lotion so better bring your own. No one collects the used cups we placed just outside our room until the next day. Breakfast buffet was great but the next day was a bit busier with more guests and they aren’t quick enough to refill. But it’s at a perfect location that I would definitely choose again

Great breakfast but slow Wi-Fi

The location is convenient. Within 30 mins by metro to most tourist attractions and the airport. A big shopping center, supermarkets, restaurants and parks are nearby. The buffet breakfast is sumptuous with lot of varieties to choose from. The bed is comfortable. However, the decoration of the room is too dark for me and the wifi in the room is rather slow.

The hotel is just 3 mins walk to a metro station. The location is just great. Everything is nearby and view from the window is fantastic. The room was very clean albeit small. Be prepare that the rooms are not serviced w/o a request. Breakfast was right to the point, plenty of choices of healthy and local food, everything was fresh and tasty. WiFi was relatively fast. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The only thing that I didn't like was the absence of a wardrobe in the room. There are literally two drawers and an open hanger bar in the room. For a one night stay it's just fine, but staying for a few days would be a stretch, particularly if there is more than one person in the room. It was not my first visit to Scandic hotels and definitely not the last one. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Best Breakfast Ever

Excellent location. Very short walk to Metro… Excellent restaurants right in front. It’s a modern style hotel… Everything well thought out. Bathroom could have been better and the reception staff are nice but a bit too cool.

The hotel is in a very nice area of the city, near the park and lots of restaurants. Metro station is right around corner

I guess it depends on the room

If it was not from the fact that the room had mediocre AC and no possibility of opening the window, this Hotel would have been a 10/10. Included breakfast was great. Hotel was well located for what we needed. It was impossible to have the temperature go below 25c. Even with a borrowed fan from reception, it was hot. This is a large hotel and I'm sure other rooms in the tower are different. We were at the lower level and not being able to open the window made sleeping complicated. Otherwise, great place!

Fantastic staff, assisted me with getting a Covid test in Copenhagen city center, getting a cab to pier, really very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in good conditions and well located. Easy access to Copenhagen city centre and train station with the Metro, there are also some nice restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go back there!

Meget godt hotel, super hyggeligt og afslappet. Særdeles centralt. Virkelig service minded personale.

Godt hotel

Stort handicapværelse med god elevationsseng. Dejlig roligt på værelset. Eneste minus var at det var meget vand over hele badeværelsesgulvet efter bad. Risten skulle nok renses😊- og en svapper ville være godt. Virkelig lækker morgenmad.

Enestående beliggenhed

Har boet her en del gange. Især pga beliggenhed på Frederiksberg som er enestående og meget nemt at komme videre rundt i kbh pga metroen ved siden af.

Dejligt hotel men god stemning.

Dejligt hotel med masser af mennesker og hyggelig stemning. Parkering nedenunder som kostede 210 kr Per døgn. Nemt og billigt. Dejligt område tæt på butikker og caféer. Sødt personale i receptionen. Det var et ok stort værelse vi fik på 11. etage og dejlig udsigt, men bareværelset var ikke så stort. Pænt rent overalt. Rigtig god morgenmad. Vi kommer gerne igen
