Right on the beach!! Breakfast lacking slightly, probably because it was off season.

The wifi was not available the whole time we were there. Room was cramped and chsirs not comfortable.

Room was quite run down and worn out. Fitness center was old as well -- treadmill had a bumpy walking platform. Other than the oceanview, it was pretty disappointing all around.

Happy Honeymoon

While the hotel clearly has a bit of age, mostly seen in the hallways and elevators, it is a perfectly decent stay. For five days staff was friendly and we had no issues. The breakfast is mostly carbs and starches with the option of a microwavable omelet fresh fruit and yogurt as well. We got a gift when checking in when we mentioned it was our honeymoon. No additional cost for parking. Anything we needed additional was no issue and got to us fast. Walk right out on the beach. Nice restaurant and gift shop/convenience store right on 1st level. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

This property is in a great location. Great walking location to shops and restaurants. Property is undergoing some much needed renovations. We were in a handicap room. Very deep bath tub. Not anything special about the room. Water in shower was warm at best.

Everyone was very nice and friendly and helpful. The beds weren’t comfortable though

Vacation stay

Place was in a great location and the people were courteous and friendly. Hotel could use a couple updates and the balcony door could close a lot better.

Have stayed on several occasions. They have been making steady improvements. On beach and walking distance to fishing pier

Great lication. Was expecting a lot more for the breakfast. It left a lot to be desired.

The people here are all kind and welcoming and having a bar with live music, convince store, and gift shop on the 1st floor was definitely a plus and not something I saw advertised but definitely a great place and area to stay in especially for the pier fishers it’s the perfectly affordable nice spot

I absolutely hated the free breakfast !!! They used to have a hot breakfast buffet that was fantastic. That was the main reason for me coming back. I was extremely disappointed

Our room floors felt like sand and even the beds did. Every time we went to get ice we couldn't get any.

The property was very clean, the hallway and the elevators were very dark. It could use some extra lighting. The staff were very accommodating.

The hotel is run down and in desperate need of a facelift. We would recommend passing on coffee and breakfast. While we will not be staying there again - it is convenient to restaurants, the pier & boardwalk.

Perfect location to everything we wanted to do. However the breakfast is awful. I have been coming to this hotel for years the breakfast used to be amazing hot breakfast bar.if you are going to call yourself a resort you should at least have a hot breakfast.

Terrible, we found a dirty underwear in the shower, dead roaches, floor is rip and peeling, breakfast is microwave and it tiny, room stinks too much, when we file the complaint and ask to move to different room they refused to and pretty much say deal with it, so rude and nasty for the money that we pay, its unreal.

The parties that took place directly below our 3rd floor rm were ridiculously loud till all hours of the night. This could have been simply solved with different room placement, ideally ahead of time. It was not until our last night that I demanded a room change and was given that courtesy.

It was okay. Being on the boardwalk and close to things was nice. We had to change rooms when we first arrived at night due to extremely loud neighbors and the vinyl floor in each was peeling up. Need some updates but good location.

Loved the location. Staff was great. Clean hotel. My only complaint is that its an older hotel that needs building repairs and convenience items like ice machines didnt work. The continental breakfast was terrible. Overall we loved our stay. The location on the beach was perfect and made up for the amenities that we not so great. We would absolutely stay here again, knowing not to expect perfection but still have a good vacation

I honestly think you should just not give breakfast it’s embarrassing. Frozen everything even the eggs in these old microwaves it’s the saddest u have ever seen seriously just remove it .

The room was ok, but over all the hotel was dirty. Old wore carpets, drainage marks on the wall.

Our room was clean, good shower pressure, had a nice balcony view. Loved the easy access to the beach. Staff was nice. Didn’t understand the purpose of needing a ticket for a free, mediocre breakfast. Wished there would have been something hot or at least waffle makers for fresh waffles instead of frozen

Loved the colors and overall vibe. The rooms could use some fixing up. Broken tiles, flooring and patio doors were iffy. The location and staff was great!

The breakfast is a joke. Frozen eggos and cereal ( im not even being dramatic) the room was clean and view was great but elevator and hallways were dark dirty and completely falling apart. Walls are extremely thin. You could hear everything! The parking garage was terrible. We couldnt park beyong level 1 due to the rental car (elantra) scaping due to unevel pavement. When addressing this with the hotel we were told we would have to pay $40 nightly to use public parking.

Our stay was good, the only thing is that the we didn't stay up late and the music was so loud that it was disturbing even on the fourth floor. Other than that it was a good experience.

The location of this property is great. Close to the fishing pier, short distance from neptune's and staring at beach. As with any property you have good and bad. Great- View Good- location, ease of beach access, convenient to restaurants and shops. okay- as with any beachfront resort your always battling the sand. Staff was always sweeping and maintaining. Patrons were rolling sand covered coolers and dragging beach chairs through lobby (no consideration/respect) Bad- the breakfast. Don't' advertise breakfast when its microwavable eggs or a toaster with bagels. Beds are hard (metal frame/mattress). We went with another family and we paid extra for oceanfront, while they had partial view (room sizes were very different) partial was a good 4/5 feet smaller and cramped. All in all i'd stay there again.

This wasn't the cleanest place to stay but the location is perfect. House keeping came into our room made the beds but didn't sweep the floors or touch the bathroom

Only good for kids and location

This hotel left my wife and I disappointed. We loved the location...that is the only good I can say. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. We had water come through the bathroom ceiling and maintenance came and told us that the room above had showered with the curtain outside the tub. The floor was in disrepair. I asked repeatedly for the room to be cleaned. It was not done once during our 5 night stay. The air conditioner froze and left a puddle of water on the floor. Only one elevator worked to get to our floor. I have stayed much better places for less money. The only thing they have is a great location. If you have kids and don't mind the stains on the bedding, leaking ceilings, broken air conditioners, rude staff, and sore backs, then this is the place for you.

Very convenient to everything you needed. Perfect for a quick getaway. Live karaoke was a blast at the onsite restaurant.

Decent for price but needs an update

Overall, the hotel was decent enough for the price we paid. We stayed for 4 nights and despite asking for housekeeping to come in and tidy and making sure the sign on our door was correct, no one ever came in to clean; unfortunately when asking a housekeeper directly, she did not speak English to confirm that our room would be taken care of. We called the front desk every day for towels and trashbags. The room itself was comfortable and it had extra plastic chairs to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view that we paid for. The space was cramped when trying to maneuver around because of how the furniture is set up with a wardrobe and end table that had the coffee machine. Overall the room and hotel, not counting the front lobby, needs a renovation to bring it into modern times.

When we arrived, yes, it was really late, however, I had booked the room with 3 kids. I asked for a cot and they said that that particular service was over, but she would ask the security guard. We never got a cot.

The only issue I had was the elevators were very slow. The fire alarm went off on our last morning there (8/12/24) Fortunately we did not have to evacuate. I feel they handled that situation very well.

Floor not swept when we first walked in. Breakfast is included but not very good, lots of rules and not many options. Only recommend if on a budget.

Friendly staff

The room was small and not as clean as I’d like. The balcony door barely closed. The pool area was disgusting. The breakfast was lacking protein options. I liked the location and being right on the beach.

The Beach and the surrounding areas were great. This resort itself had extremely slow room service. We went almost half the day waiting on clean linen and had to call the desk twice. The bed was an uncomfortable king size bed with full size bed pillows. Breakfast was only continental, and you have to stay in dining area to eat it. Same daily limited selection.

While the hotel room itself was clean and comfortable, the overall stay was not enjoyable. We were required to present meal tickets at breakfast, during which all diners were stared at and monitored by staff, which was uncomfortable. The food options were incredibly limited with no hot buffet items. The coffee was literally the worst I’ve ever tasted. It somehow tastes like instant coffee.

Lobby is dirty and glass doors never been cleaned. Elevators are dirty too. Room were ok but balcony was dirty. Ground on the back of hotel was full of cigarette buds

Location was great! End of the boardwalk area with direct access to the beach. Cleanliness was ok but not terrible—I would stay again. Breakfast was not great but also not terrible.

I loved everything about the property the only issue we had was in the restaurant the bartender was rude and not friendly at all.

For an older beach property I thought this place was pretty nice. Room with spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 5 days. The room was cleaned 2 of those days after we contacted the front desk two times. I had to go to the front desk multiple times for just clean towels. It was very difficult to communicate with cleaning staff due to not speaking English or being able to use a phone translator.

They front check-in went pretty smooth. I did not like the pool. Deeper than usual. No Jacuzzi. Breakfast was ok. On the website it kinda look like they had a hot tub but they didn't. It was an ok experience. Cleaning service was pretty prompt.

Checked in, hotel staff was not friendly at all. The hallway was filled with trash bags and towels, felt just as dirty as it looked. The room was small, dated and the bathrooms are small as heck, couldn’t even open the door all the way. The location is great- however, the hotel could use a face lift and some of the staff members could be a little friendlier. The breakfast is - bad. Warm up bagged omelets in the microwave yourself. The only perk to this hotel is the location- but I would recommend a different hotel in the same location if you’re looking to be close to the fishing pier!

Very nice pool

The unique part was the beach. Nothing look modernized. Really just a place to sleep. In door pool was down for maintenance. Did not look very inviting anyway. Overpriced for the stay.

One of the elevators was not working, slow elevators I was on the 9th floor.

I enjoy the restaurant attached to property and bed was pretty comfortable, however the property needs a lot of help. The first room they gave me was on the rooftop room 914..dont take it!! You have to get off elevator then go up some stairs to get to the room. The room looked runned down and dirty...no way I was staying in that room. They had me pay extra to get another room on the 9th floor which was a little better but still worn down Furniture and bathroom tiles. The balcony door looks dirty and rushy. The place is in a good location but needs a makeover!!! Place is not cheap but you are only paying for location.

Over priced

The service and friendliness of staff was excellent! The hotel is very overpriced, our floors in the room were damaged, people were smoking marijuana in the hallways and parking garage on the 5th floor and the smell make me very sick. Ruined vacation. 300.00 a night plus resort fees and no pool available for us for three of our days of stay.

Unfortunately the breakfast buffet showing online is false they had continental breakfast. Also beds were not comfortable. Cleanliness was ok. Also falsely advertised a jacuzzi it is a baby pool

Honest for the price at this time of the year

It is an honest hotel. It passed its prime time, but rooms are decently clean. Breakfast is simple, no hot food like eggs and sausage, but you can prepare your own toast or even bagels. You can have orange juice or apple juice, yogurt and bananas, cereals etc. Nothing fancy, but works well. No extra charge for parking your car!!! Overall I am a happy customer and I intend to stay there more times

Beautiful ocean view!

Bathroom: light fixture above sink was GROSS! Random hairs all over. Light switch plate cracked. Major hard water. Doorframe to patio a mess, rubber strip falling off, YEARS-old paint peeling, etc. Our magnetized door key quit working. Somebody literally pooped in the lobby near the water fountain; I reported it. The breakfast situation is a disaster; I made my partner get our bkft all mornings but one, bcuz it was such a smelly, claustrophobic disaster. The fact that people are able to come directly from the ocean and track in sand and water to your floors and elevators constantly, is disgusting and frankly, a major infection control issue. (I work in health care, I know this stuff.) Elevator doors need to be polished considerably more frequently. And wipe down the buttons too. These are all littttttle things you could fix and improve upon, to make your property WAY more appealing. If I ever come back to VA Beach, I will pay higher dollars just to get a more reputable and cleaner property.

Loved everything except for brea.

We never got to stay. We were there 8 hours a head of check in to find out we were 4.5 hours away from home with nowhere to stay at 11:25am of the check-in day.

Although the restroom is a little dated, the room was clean. There are thin sheets on the beds, and it gets chilly at night, so bring a blanket.

Easy parking plenty of parking clean no Riff Raff

They need to be upfront about the parking situation. One of their big claims is that parking is free and one of the reasons that we chose this hotel. They only allow one car and this is a problem when you are meeting friends for vacation.

Fun little spot for vacation

The hotel rooms were newly renovated. The bathroom was small but it got the job done. The doors to the rooms were also very tiny. I loved the free parking. The breakfast is what you would imagine but I loved the granola bars. Being on the second floor was tough with the pool. People loved to walk in the hallways with wet feet and the floors were a little hazardous. I didn't understand the layout very well and how to get to the boardwalk but once I figured it out it was really easy to get around. It was really quiet even with all of the happenings going on outside.

Really nice! Such a great location and even the free breakfast that everybody seems to say bad things about wasn’t bad! It’s your typical hotel “free” breakfast (don’t forget your ticket they give you at check-in though because they’re not letting you in and apparently NOBODY at check in tells you this!!) Room was clean, beds were great. Mexican restaurant was amazing!! Highly recommended ! DO NOT EAT AT THE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT! Horrible service. Awful (and incorrect) food. Even the drinks were bad

The room i was in was spacious an had upstairs an downstairs. Ceiling was falling apart an floor was coming up. Location was convenient but hotel rooms definitely need some Maintenance

I would say this is an above average stay for this area. Parking was easy and available. Front desk staff was helpful. Hallways did smell like marijuana but it’s legal. There are signs saying remodel and I think the hotel will greatly benefit. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Great location
