Staff was excellent, very caring and I appreciate that very much!
Overall excellent

Beautiful hotel in great neighborhood with very well-designed and furnished rooms. Unfortunately, the pool area was locked so we didn't get to take in the water views. I thought $70, after tax and mandatory tip, for a half bottle of poor-quality red wine from the hospitality bar was a bit much, even by hotel standards.
Our go-to hotel for the staff, amenities, and location!
Everything was expensive and it’s not even worth it
Staff was excellent. Housekeeping went above & beyond to clean. Heated bathrooms floors were great!
For the price, I didn’t like anything. No coffee cups, ac unit was delayed, no Netflix or the like, and the shower didn’t hold in the water. Wet floor in the bathroom. Just too expensive for these issues.
Love the Pendry! It’s beautiful and classy.
Lovely property
Beautiful room, great environs, wonderful staff. Would have been better for my dog and me to have been on the outside of hotel rather than next to the lounge as he would bark whenever anyone went past our room. Little things in the room didn’t work- the closet light, the bottle for the shower gel. Also couldn’t figure out how to just turn on mood lights without turning on every light in the room. Otherwise, was a great trip!
AMAZING STAY
Property was beautiful. Terrance gave us a wonderful tour and history of the property. Wonderful stay.
The property was clean. The staff was great. Get the suite with the tub!!
Business but Pleasure
I absolutely enjoyed the stay. I was upgraded to a waterfront view.
It is a beautiful property.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was a wonderful experience! We look forward to visiting during the summer time to enjoy the outdoor pool!!!
Its really an industrial area.
The suit was clean and spacious, we loved it. But the room service was not good, we called both Friday night and Saturday night to request for soft drinks every single time we were told that they have none. One of the staff that brought ice to our room on Friday night was very rude and nasty, he was upset that my son insist and asked him to search their kitchen for soft drinks.
Great stay as always !!!!! Love the Hotel staff ... C Ames
Wonderful stay at The Pendry. Pool area was comfortable and the staff were great!
This was probably one of the most, if not the most, disappointing hotel stay I have ever had. We were unable to access our room until 4:30 when checkin is at 3. The pool bathroom soap dispensers were broken and falling out of the countertop, the chopped salad by the pool wasn’t chopped and the lettuce was wet and wilted, the toilet water in the room was brown the entire stay, the telephone in the room didn’t work, the room service was unable to prepare what was ordered (meatball hero) and when food was delivered for 4 people only one set of utensils was provided. I can go on. Just entirely disappointing given the representation online and price point.
Wonderful hotel!
A great atmosphere, really awesome bar and restaurant, beautiful rooms. The pool was a bit cold but beautiful area.
The room and pool were great. The location is amazing with lots of night life and dining options. The on site bars were good and the courtyard was a beautiful place to have a night cap. The pool was not overly crowded and the wait staff were very attentive.
Loved everything! Staff is incredible! Major shoutout to Rob!
Amazing Experience, Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful views and friendly staff
The restaurant on site wasn't good. They served us spoiled crab cakes, waiter agreed. Only one cook in the kitchen. Our TV didn't work upon arrival, the shower head was busted. Not a good birthday weekend at the Pandry for 1000.00k per night Really???
The pool behavior and public drunkenness was unsafe and out of control.
Beautiful property with great views staff great rooms are clean and nice
Great location. Beautiful hotel
Quite attentive yet courteous staff. Always kind and ready to assist. Service beyond what I’ve experienced at many flag franchise brands. Well done, can’t wait to be back here soon.
An oasis of awesomeness
The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the facility is fantastic. We never left the premises because it's all there with best-in-class pool and outdoor environment, food (Rec Pier Chop House was great), and drink. We're already making plans to go back for our anniversary.
Great place
We loved our stay here! The staff was so incredibly friendly and the property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. I highly recommend this property if you’re in Baltimore - 10/10.
I was excluded from the pool area due to a private event. I saw a guest have a medical emergency in the lounge area where she vomited and urinated on herself and the couch she was sitting on. The hotel never cleaned the setting area and within minutes another guest was sitting on the couch.
Beautifully designed hotel in a great location with excellent customer service. Made our anniversary stay very special!!
Easily one of the best hotels in Baltimore
There is no spa and very loud late at night.
There are loud party boats that come right next to the property blaring music between midnight and 3am. Went there for the spa as advertised on hotel.com and there is no spa. The property allows day passes to the pool and we experienced drunk, loud, and inappropriate conduct from people who purchased day passes for the pool. Management was not present and the new hires were not qualified to handle this. We had a king harbor view room and it was very small. It had one small chair and no desk. You couldn't really sit into the room. The food was good and the cleaning staff was excellent.
Fantastic amenities, helpful and courteous staff and an amazing in house restaurant/food service!
The property, for its quality and appeal is a little off the beaten path, but not so much that you regret anything about staying there. The area is funky/bohemian with some cooler pubs/taverns, great breakfast spots, lots of nighttime activities. It’s not the mainstream inner harbor vibe, but it’s a cool vibe. Everything about the hotel is unique, organic in an elegant way and top notch. I would definitely choose it again.
Super convenient and great vibe!
Wonderful Experience!
Wonderful Father's Day experience at a poolside cabana during Fleet Week kick off no less! Beautiful room, great restaurant/food and service. We will be back!
The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a perfect area. The staff was friendly and helpful!
Amazing property, staff was spectacular. The pool was a huge highlight- thanks Oliver for being such an awesome waiter!
I’ve stayed at this property for a few days each summer almost every year since it opened. i live nearby in the DC area and this is my fav hotel in the DC Baltimore area. Fabulous location. Great views. Amazing waterfront pool. Excellent service. Good food. Only slight was the room I got given what I paid and my Expedia Platnium status. But, I’ll be back.
Had our anniversary here and it was a wonderful stay! The restaurant was fabulous and the room was very nice and spacious. Loved the big bathtub!!!!!!
Hotel is very pretty and pool area beautiful. Staff very courteous. Well intended but on occasion did not follow through and not knowledgeable about surrounding restaurants, however made an effort to get info needed. I would recommend
An amazing time!
I did not feel.like a rokm worth over $500 per night and simply NOT impressed.
Not worth this price
Perfect in every way!
The Building is awesome and the neighborhood is super cool
Great Hotel. Excellent for a quick getaway. Only expensive option is valet parking per day. Otherwise all fees and services are perfect !!!
Just ok for the high orice
Beautiful Hotel but Odd Check In
Overall our stay was great, beautiful hotel and a great view but our check in experience was horrible. We called ahead and were told we could check in a few mins early so we showed up about 20 mins early with a baby. We had a crying baby and were told the room was actually not ready. So the front desk politely offered to upgrade our room to one that was ready… something I would expect from this hotel! I said great! (Again with a crying baby) and then the front desk proceeded to tell us the up charge for the new room (umm that’s not an upgrade). We informed them we would not be paying more (we already had one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel). The associate, said “just wait” While everyone around us was offered a welcome cocktail, we were not. It would have been nice to offer that already free cocktail to us us while we waited. Eventually well after the advertised check in time we were told our room was ready. After an exhausting day and again a crying baby, there was no apology and again everyone around us was offered a welcome cocktail so we eventually asked. The front staff said he was busy and the cocktail was low so we could come back down in 10 mins. It was just one of the coldest and most unwelcoming arrival to a hotel and not what you expect of this high end establishment. Hopefully just a one off problem with a single employee
Not so impressive service
There are a lot of things about the hotel that need improvement. For instance, there were many hidden fees that were not identified at the beginning. There was no ice bucket, utensils, or complimentary coffee or tea, which is usually a standard at most hotels. The bathroom seemed to have plumbing issues also period. Room service was also overpriced. There were also inconsistencies with what appeared on the menu and what was actually billed
Staff is friendly and hotel is beautiful
Michael was wonderful and I am grateful for his professionalism and his kindness. The entire staff was very sweet. A great place to celebrate my 55th. Thank you for the best birthday ever.
Friendly staff
A perfect hideaway in the heart of Fells Point
The Pendry is a great property. Great rooms, nice amenities and a terrific location.
Great property!
The rooms and decor are excellent. The staff are friendly.
Worth every penny !!
We came to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Couldn’t be happier with this hotel experience !!
Everything was amazing!
The location and architecture were beautiful. I loved being by the water and boats.
Lovely hotel with impeccable service. The challenge was the limited parking and the challenge of accessing the property. Read the small print - parking is $60 per night and there is $44 resort fee per night. While I still enjoyed this property, there are these additional fees.
Beautiful building
Work trip, the room and overall aspect of the hotel is beautiful. Location and surrounding area is great there’s ton of restaurants and bars just across the street and on the neighboring streets. Wasn’t too impressed with service at check in, but maybe just had a weird day. The next morning a very kind gentleman did offer to help with my bag, but there were 3 others that just stared, same as when I checked in.
Wonderful Stay
Good
The doormen and front desk staff are all a class act. It felt great and pampering to receive accommodations here. I do remember one of the doormen, Rob, who was very helpful. He was like the bellservice, doorman, concierge since he knew so much information and was just happy to help. At the end of our stay, I was asked if we enjoyed our stay. There was one thing that was inconvenient. The AC was not setting the proper temperature in the room. Made a few calls and an Engineer came but the problem was not resolved. When I mentioned this incident to Nicolette, she immediately called the manager even if I didn't request for a manager. The manager, Nicola, apologized profusely. She comped our incidental charges, her way of making ammends. That was very considerate of her. She realized that we were inconvenienced but repairing the AC is too late as we were already checking out. Because of this small gesture of acknowledgment, apology, and giving back some unexpected remuneration, I thought to forgive the AC inconvenience and pondered to return again when I'm in Baltimore. They made our family feel special.
Extremely unprofessional staff and very loud hotel. I regret extending my stay.
Birthday Gift
I want to thank the staff of the Pendry for taking lovely care of my sister and brother in love. Her birthday is at the end of the month and I thought it would be a nice break to give her a nice getaway from kids and adult responsibilities. Her and husband had an amazing stay and would love to come back when the turns warmer. I do lowkey luxury reviews online and having them as my eyes and ears was great. Thank you again!
Amazing property with amazing amenities and dinning options. Tim on the Cannon Room was a great and knowledgeable bartender. Will be my go to spot for trips to Baltimore
Yearly visit
7 years running and the hotel and staff never disappoint. My wife and I stay for one night the first week of January every year for our anniversary. We'll be back next year.
Great hotel! Excellent service!
Beautiful Hotel, in a great location. Me and my wife loved our stay there. Def will be coming back. Michael ( with locs ) was extremely helpful and nice guy. All doormen where nice and professional.
Loved it.
Quick stay while visiting our son at school in Baltimore. We have been trying a lot of the hotels to find our favorites, including the Four Seasons in Harbor East. I would say that this has been one of our favorites because of the staff and little details. While reading the reviews prior to booking, I was wondering why so many mentioned the valet staff and now I understand why. I didn’t even bring my car but Dakota of their team really did a great job of making you feel like a welcome VIP guest at Sagamore Pendry. As a business owner, you appreciate those that treat customers as if the business was their own and go the extra mile. I truly felt that he deserves to be recognized for doing just that. I would definitely come back here to stay.
Best
Best hotel in Baltimore
It’s centered right in the best location possible in fells point
Shops around the hotel look quaint but are poor quality
Awesome!!
The service was great, the staff were wonderful. The service is top notch, I can't imagine staying in any other hotel in Baltimore.
I can’t say enough about this hotel - the rooms, the grounds, the food, the staff….. all truly perfect. I will go out of my way to vacation here again as soon as possible.
The property is well placed and very nice to walk around to restaurants and shops the inside is super nice with large bar and restaurant and nice courtyard . The staff are friendly but many are international from Africa so many times forget to complete the dining order accurately . The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The AC as prior reviews said does not work well.. it runs warm and moving rooms does not help. The hotel really needs to improve this if they want to compete at the 5 star level. Prices are higher than expected for the area and dining choices are limited. The exercise room is acceptable but minimal equipment and both treadmills were not working…I think the pluses are nice rooms and water views and excellent location to walk around Fells Point.
The hotel decided to book a wedding reception without notice to guests. They limited access to the courtyard, pool and other amenities. Woke me up at 6 AM setting up for their event, kept me up until 3 AM cleaning up the event. Staff was not efficient, pool bar was dirty, and the pool was so cold that you could barely get in it. I will never stay at this place again.
Friendly clean environment very nice people
Perfect
The staff and location of this property is tops. The pool and gym area - wonderful. The hotel is 'dark' with very low lighting - everywhere.
Best Hotel in the DMV
The service at the hotel is impeccable, except poolside where is was just OK. Beautiful design. Clean. Great location. Interesting art. Restaurant is delicious. Shower wasn't great, easy to get water on the floor. It is pricey, but worth it.
We traveled 3 hours for the pool. It was closed 2 or the 3 days we were there. Food is ok. Priced high.
From the moment, I walked through the doors, the staff's warm energy was felt and seen! I was in town on a self-care writing retreat and the Pier Suite was next level opulence! The suite, balcony, views of the water, and peace allowed me to rest in the most divine ways. Everything was truly amazing - so much so that I decided to stay an extra night! Tens across the board!
Amazing Stay
Outstanding venue. The team there was AMAZING from the valet to the service at check in and dining. Cannot wait to go back! Worth EVERY $ we spent!
Disappointed my expensive room did not have a bathtub!!!!!!
This is truly a beautiful hotel with a comfortable bed. But what sets this hotel apart from others is the friendly, helpful staff. They all seemed so proud of where they worked. We just loved our stay. We highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Over priced and average
This hotel was overpriced for what it delivered and hardly measures up to the Montague standard.
It was very nice property and stay for the holiday overnight. I was nicely upgraded to a bay view room which made our stay event more special. We will be back!

Sagamore Pendry Baltimore | Hotel in Baltimore | Travala.com
We stayed at the Sagamore in Baltimore, and overall, it was a great experience. Check-in was quick, and our room was beautiful. However, we encountered a slight issue—the heat wasn’t working on Valentine’s Day, which was disappointing. The next day, Saturday, we brought it to the front desk’s attention, and they promptly upgraded us to a larger stateroom. From that point on, our stay was excellent. We truly appreciated how quickly they accommodated us and the great service we received.
