We enjoyed every bit of our stay. We will definitely be coming back.
An avoid unfortunately! Food and Spa terrible
A mixed bag of a stay, hotel is overall clean and tidy albeit quite tired. Rooms have damaged tiles, wonky shower doors and bathroom leaks. Air conditioning appears to heat the room up rather than cool it down and is very noisy. Food and restaurant service is a disaster. There is no management of the meals. You simply walk into the restaurants and you have to hunt high and low for a table. God forbid you sit at a table larger than your party because the staff tell you off! Drink and food are all self service. Food is below average, often if the specialist restaurant is open the night before then the main restaurant seems to serve up the unused food the following night. It’s never hot, tepid and luke warm, swimming in oil and grease. Not surprising that my wife got food poisoning despite trying to make safer choices. Hotel reception didn’t really care when we reported the matter, they did call the Doctor out but only once we agreed to pay them directly. Other issues/minor annoyances - no drinks in room, no robes or slippers, sun bed reservations are annoying. Spa is an avoid too, they clearly don’t know what they are doing, had to refer to a paper guide in the room during the massage, they exposed my wife’s breasts and massaged them and then pulled her bathing suit down below her bottom and massaged her bottom. We laughed about it at the time but for others this could be traumatic and confusing. A strong avoid for us.
Agadir
Great hotel and amenities
Fabulous hotel

Great value
Great property and services given the cost. Would highly recommend
Great hotels. But sunbeds with towels everywhere.
We had a lovely stay in Riu Agadir. Only 30 mins from the airport and right on the beach. Wonderful staff, large and clean grounds. Excellent choice of foods, many made fresh to order, large and well equipped gym, indoor pool. The only negative is the towel policy- sunbeds are reserved with towels before 8am then unoccupied until lunchtime.
Was nice hotel good value for price
Nice
Overall a four star as you would expect it to be
Excellent service as soon as u walk staff all really helpful hotel itself is big nice and lobby area huge plenty of seating swimming pool are great size 3 large swimming pool. Pleanty to do in the hotel. pravite beach
Excellent staff
Dommage
This was the best All Inclusive Place we have been. Great job.
This was great, fantastic location
A lovely resort with well kept communal amenities both inside and out and a tastefully decorated and comfortable lounge area. Sadly this quality and standard was not replicated in the bedrooms. We stayed in a double standard room which was dated and tired and in need of upgrading and/or refurbishment. The very heavy dusty curtains were hanging off the rail and didn't close fully and the net curtain underneath was stained and torn. We had to ask for our bed linen to be changed on check in - soiled in places. The patio door didn’t close properly and therefore the air conditioning unit was unable to work effectively. Some of the bathroom fittings were broken, and the bathroom drain was smelly. Despite reporting these on the Riu App and then to sympathetic reception staff, not much could be done to remedy the issues during our stay. A real shame about the rooms as everything else was as anticipated.
Solo Traveller. Felt safe and looked after
My first all inclusive beach holiday. Im a solo traveller and usually chose city breaks. This place was perfect for a few days in the sun. Food was great and as a solo female traveller i felt safe. Didn't try any of the speciality restaurants and didn't watch any of the entertainment but they all seemed busy. Only downside was getting a sunbed. Despite the signs saying not to reserve, everyone did. With one couple blatantly moving my stuff and bed so they could have an umbrella
Nice hotel but need some improvements.
The hotel was clean and friendly staff. Only that they do not provide any shampoos conditioners or. Body lotion which is normally provided in hotels all over the world. No clothes iron in rooms but you can get one with a deposit at reception. The food was very repeatative and felt that way even thoug even had 2 meals in different restaurants during our 4 nights stay. The staff in the main bar in the evening were rather disappointing. They need to learn to serve with a smile and treat everyone equally.
Beautiful all inclusive resort.
Five stars
Five stars I will go back soon
Fabulous hotel! All staff (especially animation team) and facilities excellent - the icing on the cake would be a stocked mini-bar in room plus kettle to make hot drinks on a morning.
Good
Amazing stay!
Amazing experience. We mainly stayed in the hotel. There was lots to do. Food was great and different every night. Staff were fab. Will be returning.
Mixed emotions about the hotel
I have enjoyed a few days in the resort, and left with mixed emotions. Staff- the only issue/ unpleasant experience was upon checking in. My flight landed early, arriving at the reception at 1pm I enquired about slightly early check in that wasn't available, however I was advised they would email me once the room was ready. At 2:45 I walked over to ask again as the email never arrived and room was indeed available. I was given keys, but not given a hotel bracelet which I was later questioned by security about. The rest of the staff were all lovely however and always with a smile on their faces. Room- rooms are large and comfortable. Daily cleaning, complimentary water, however very overpowering cleaning products. There is no kettle in the room. Also the 2 single beds making a double is substandard for a 4 star property. The hotel grounds are large and well kept, security at each entrance. Sunbeds- obviously all with towels on from before 9am which is something the hotel isn't dealing with at all- disappointing. Food- the beach side restaurant for breakfast and lunch is lovely, varied selection of foods, including local tagines (they are always eaten first so you have to be quick), the main dinner restaurant feels quite formal, I did not enjoy the food either despite it being similar to lunch. Also, for seatings after the dinner rush (after 9pm) you walk into a cleaning service with little selection of food left.
Shower drainage wasn’t working properly. room wasent clean. there was no air condition in the room only a fan which was making a noise. When I arrived at the hotel was not directed where the room is i had to locate the room myself would not recommend this resort
One of the best on the area
Situated on the beach, this place has all the amenities you would expect. Beautiful restaurant looking out onto the beach where you breakfast and lunch are served.
Short January trip
The hotel was nice and clean the service was good the only disappointment was the food very bland and tasteless more aless the same every day they need to keep kettles in room which most hotels do worldwide
Bathrooms are not cleaned properly and mouldy showers
Omy from the kids club was very friendly and engaging with my 2 yr old son.
Room was noisy from the nearby nightclub. Food was okay.
Great staff and facilities. Very family friendly.
Staff are fabulous. They're warm, happy and cheeful and truly hospitable. However the food is same each day. There's no dietry discipline for veggie and meat requirements. Pork is served right next to other food. People serving alcohol use same wet hands and serve non alcoholic drinks. I saw cooked porked being put in to heated compartment with other food where smoke from.freshly cooked bacon, of course makes other food forbidden for consumption for non pork guests. Furthermore, there's no water in the public toilets, nor toilet tissues and soap as day goes on.
A Great Choice
Hotel complex was big and inclusive and had everything you would expect from a beach holiday. Plenty of different sports to suite all tastes and four decent restaurants to choose from. Hotel staff made every effort to please and accommodate you from getting you a parasol and setting it up to getting you a toothpick! Private sandy beach and hotel rooms big and cleaned every day. Really enjoyed our 10 days in Agadir 2023 holiday and would certainly go again.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel with family. The only thing I feel they can improve is the attitude of the front desk staff as they act if the sun shines out of their a**. The person co-ordinating guest baggage when you first arrive needs to be sacked as he was rude and didn’t assist with taking our luggage to our room even though it was late and we had to young children with us. The restaurant staff including the chefs are brilliant always friendly, attentive and happy to help with any dietery requirements. Everyone on-site including even the maintenance and service staff were resepectful and acknowledged you when walking around the grounds of the hotel. The private beach section could have been kept cleaner by the hotel cleaning team. Security team always on guard and attentive. Good hotel and may use again except the next time I will take a very heavy bag possibly with free weights and get the rude luggage coordinator to carry it around on his shoulders! Front desk staff get a life and chill and be open, honest and respond to guest queries faster!
Superior service
Beautiful relaxing property spacious clean superior service at all levels
Amazing place. Would recommend
Gorgeous grounds and pools.. soft sandy beach.... great indoor pool and gorgeous lobby area
Good value. Professional service. Will recommend
lack of cutlery ie spoons
Great hotel
Excellent stay. Hotel facilities were great, as was the food, accommodation. Staff were all friendly. Wouldn’t Hesitate to stay again
Good stay
Amazing went as Solo trip - felt safe and comfortable the staff are extremely helpful. It would be nice if they have more on dinner option as restaurants but regardless good experience- entertainment team 10/10 Thank to staff : Abraham oubomlik, sara ( receptionist) - Omar ( the hotel tax driver )
Mattress very hard
Agadir winter break
Good location on beach and excellent swimming pools. Food not the best but plenty of choice. Good value all inclusive stay
What a dream! Riu Tikida Dunas went beyond our expectations! My partner and I needed a vacation, which hit the spot. Below I have written some positives, and negatives and need-to-know tips to help you! Positives: - Great staff! Super kind and always willing to help. - Awesome shuttle experience. Amine was a great tour guide! - Amazing location. Directly located on the beach. - Spacious rooms. A double room looks like a suite. - A lot of food options, from Asian, to Morocco cuisines. - All cocktails are free, Piña Colada's, Cubra libres & more. Negatives: - Food quality wasn't the best. A lot of things were overcooked and dry, or lacked in flavor. Fish was the best! - You need to reserve for the better restaurants and it's unfortunate if you didn't know beforehand because most likely they are full. - While they offered a lot of activities, not many were accessible or enjoyable due to the colder water (waterpolo, etc.) thus limiting the activities greatly. Tips: Overall a really amazing and affordable resort! Highly recommend it and we will probably go again knowing the following tips: - Call the hotel prior to scheduling a shuttle service with their partner. Great people and very affordable (15 euros one way per person) - Call the hotel in advance and already try to book a restaurant. (We, unfortunately, couldn't book the Moroccan and we assume it's the best one) - If you are traveling with Ryanair, print off your ticket before heading back to your country.
Walking around the area you can see there's loads of hotels but this one was definitely the best choice! The staff worked hard to maintain cleanliness at all times. The pools were very nice but unfortunately too cold to go in. Beach is extremely close with loads of activities to do. Within the hotel there is a lot of activities to do with the animation team working hard to provide entertainment - they were especially good during the evening shows. Only downfall of the hotel is probably the food - it's not the tastiest but there's mass amounts with plenty of choice.
Very nice hotel, right on beach, always busy and crowded throughout the year, front desk staff is very good and fast doing check in
Fantabulous!!!
We absolutely loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived we were met with welcoming and smiling reception staff and even though we arrived after 9pm we could still have time for the buffet dinner which we were glad of as we hadn't eaten! There was so much choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was varied enough to find new dishes each day! We loved the Asian and Moroccan restaurants too! But what really made it for us was the friendliness of all the staff from the cleaners, to the entertainment team, to the food hall staff and bar staff! Everyone was so helpful and always with a smile for us! Our room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony and the gardens are pristine! A stones throw from the beach and plenty of activities daily from water polo to darts, beach volley ball and even cookery demonstrations! The Spa was nice for a relaxing massage at extra cost and if you are brave go for the energetic one! Ouch! Pool area was amazing and we used the gym and indoor pool too one day when it was cooler! We loved the live music in the lobby area each evening and of course the Kareoke bar! The staff all work so hard here to make sure your stay is exceptional so it was a pleasure to thank them with a few tips at the end of our stay! We shall be back! Thank you Morocco for your amazing hospitality 🙏👌
reasonable location for local shops and bars. Private beach!! very small and unless you are a towel freak and up at 4,00 am you have no chance of getting a bed. Area around pools is OK but same problem. Tip the staff and they might help. Food is what you expect for the price.
The hotel was very clean with excellent staff, great food and views of beach. I can not say enough good things about this place specially the staff. Special thank you to Hicham, waiter at buffet and all other waiters, always happy and smiling. Thank you to manager, Moussa. We call him the joker because he was all over the hotel, overseeing everybody's work. Thank you to the awesome bartenders: Zakaria, Ibrahim, Ahmed, Abelalli, Nouredine, Hassan : you made our stay fun . Thank you to Redouane and Abdellah for keeping all area clean and organized. Big thank you to the ladies and gentlemen at the reception too, specially Houssaine!!!! who helped us get registred at a hotel in Marrakech after we left our passports in Agadir 😱. He was kind enough to help us get the problem solved. We will be back Spyember 2023 We cannot wait. Keep up the good work. You make us proud. Thank you everyone With love Wafa and Robert
We are not usually All inclusive customers. However this was a pleasant surprise and we would return to this resort without hesitation.
Good for family!
Good service, polite personal!
They stay was great and the hotel staff were very professional and helpful. Everything was clean and the place was beautiful and well looked after. Two reasons why it didn’t get an excellent rating. 1) The swimming pools were too cold to swim in. Therefore we had a disappointed 2 year old. 2) The price for the stay changed from the quote at the time of booking which was unfair. We ended up paying more.
We loved our time there. Perfect for families with lots of things to do. Beach is 2 mints walk. Lots of activities for babies including pools. We loved the variety of food choices. Please can management pass on our thank you to Hicham in the restaurant!! He was amazing and very helpful! From Mogahed!
Very nice hotel except for the lack of the cleanliness in rooms
The front desk staff was very unfriendly and not professional!
Great property with nice amenities. The staff were super nice and friendly. I want to praise Hajar who helped me change the room swiftly after my original faced problems with the air conditioning.
Very clean and amazing for family vacation. Food was good Pool was amazing, beach was good Staff was amazing and lobby was amazing Just need to work in their night shows, it was kind of boring/not much fun Rest everything was amazing
Just perfect for short lazy holiday👌
Gross- shower had mold all over it. Was told to leave luggage at front and people would bring it up. Had to wait 30 min and ended up going down to grab it myself. Nothing stocked in mini fridge. Bird crap all over balcony and balcony chairs. Dated dirty hotel.
Amazing place, great facilities wonderful staff excellent value all round
Excellent hotel with even better staff
Amazing experience. Don’t usually do all inclusives but this was brilliant. Staff make the holiday! Quite quiet at night but other than that a perfect holiday
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was okay. Entertainment was very nice especially the Moroccan band at the lobby area.
Good hotel with basic food
It was a lovely stay. The hotel is really nice and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The beds were very hard but I didn’t mind too much. Overall a good stay. The only downfall was the dinner. Breakfast and lunch was ok but the dinner in the main restaurant was no good. It was bland, cold similarly every night. Nothing tasted nice all tasted like air tbh. No flavour at all not even the Moroccan food. The asia restaurant was ok. Overall a lovelyyyyy hotel with great staff but the food lets this place down. Mohammed at the karaoke bar was our favourite staff member but everyone was lovely. Lots of activities to keep you busy. The evening entertainment In the fountain bar wasn’t great but the atmosphere in the kareoke bar was good in he evening
The best hotel
It was the best hotel we had ever seen. We had no complaints at all. The room are clean . The receptionist are kind and friendly. The food is amazing alot of choices and big selections of desert. The chefs and waiters are very welcoming and very friendly. The animations guys are super funny enjoying and welcoming especially with the kids they love it. It was literally the best hotel ever. I hope they stay like rhis.
If you go to Agadir, choose Riu Tikida Dunas
We received the best service ever and the staff is just amazing and very welcoming! The Spanish director and manager are doing an excellent job and make your stay more then comfortable!!!!
Nice hotel very clean food was nice staff were very friendly I am recommend it
Generally this is an excellent all inclusive resort, although now getting a little old it still provides a good experience and is better than most in Agadir. The food and drinks are excellent and particularly good if you are vegetarian or vegan. Unfortunately my room was very noisy and was very close to the heavy rebuilding work in the streets all around the Agadir tourist strip. I stayed for 7 nights and will definitely stay again as long as i get a similar rate to that which i got for this visit. You cannot separate the price you pay from your perception of value when giving feedback.
Fantastic Hotel
Stayed in hotel for 3 nights. First time to Morroco and will definitely come back and stay here. I couldnt fault it at all, every staff member were so helpful, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Food was very good, typical buffet style with great variety. If you didnt want buffet you could book into Asian or Morrocan restaurant. Hotel located beside beach, lovely walk on promenade. Didnt get to see much on this trip, but will come again & stay longer and see some of the beautiful sights Morroco has to offer
Nice
Hotel looks great, grounds are beautiful and we liked that the pool the children played in was not deep so we didn’t have to keep an eye on them all the time. Food was same every night but enough variety. The band in the bar/reception lounge area was really good. Downside was that in the first 2 days of being there we had to get our room key programmed 5 times as it wasn’t working and not just us at least 4 other families said the same thing. The door lock system needs an upgrade as it was very inconvenient, we were on the other side of the stairs and far away from the receptions and only after the 4th trip to reception did they tell us that there was a phone in our block we could have rang from. Wish they had told us that before as walking to and from reception late in the evening with children sleeping in arms was not easy. Also when we checked in no one told us where things were, where lunch and dinner would be served etc. We stayed for 3 night stay and it was fine for a short stay.
The pillows were dirty the sofa was dirty the couch was dirty towels very old and dirty bad customers service shower didn't have any shampoo only 2 bar of soap
It’s a beautiful relaxing place, the staff are awesome, definitely will come back!!
Outstanding value for money, excellent staff, beautiful poolside relaxation and sea view. Food was of a very good standard, could use a little variety (may have got a bit repetitive for a week ) And snacks would be great to add - crisps/pretzels, etc For the price, I'd be amazed to find better value
From what I can tell in Agadir, they offered the best value for money. My room was amazing with great views. The location is my favorite in Agadir. It is right on the beach with a great path for walking, running, biking, etc. Also it is far enough from other places that you have your own peace. The food was excellent. Other reviewers who say the food was not varied might have come at a time when there weren't so many people, because I noticed at the end of my stay, it got empty due to Morocco closing borders for a few days due to a new variant of covid, and with less people, there was less offering. But before that it was really excellent and I've travelled to 60 countries. Also, the grounds were great. The spa there is really good too - double the price of in town but on the other hand much better.
Location really nice. Great customer service very nice staff. Except the room they give me there were little bit of car noises. Great food many selections. I will definitely visit again.
Food options in the buffets can be better
Riu
Ac wasn't working and they refused to move us until we got hotels.com involved. The hotel is big and the beach is nice. The food is okay.
Great family option...we'll be back!
Great family friendly facility with decent food options, which are key for my wife who requires gluten-free options. Location is excellent (right on the beach). A couple issues with room keys deactivating, remote control not working in one of our rooms during the whole stay and not many restaurant options (as a result of Covid). Hotel could also probably do with more dedicated parking options.
Beautiful surroundings, the entire setting, wide spread building that houses the rooms so you get the feel of special. Staff is warm and welcoming. No need to go outside the hotel area for anything. You can keep your wallet in the safe for the entire duration of your stay. Good fitness facilities and beautiful pools. Heated pool inside is big enough and very nice in this time of year. The food was lush and overall very agreeable. But there also the irritation factor kicks in. In the restaurant you will meet the masses and you loose the feeling you’re special. Disappointing. There is a possibility to avoid that: make a reservation for the Moroccan or Asian restaurant. But only possible for diner. The beds look great and they are big enough but rather hard, but that’s personal. When going to Agadir, specially a big AI hotel you should realize it has little to do with getting to know Morocco. More like a glimpse.
It was on the sea and it has a private beach where u can relax under the sun. The pool is big and clean. Around it there are many bar where u can drink nice cocktails and wine. The staff is very gentle and it s perfect if u have children because there is always somebody thay play with them. I don t like the japanese restaurant kaori because it has absolutely nothing of asiatic food.
The concierge, house cleaning, security guards and every staff in this hotel was exceptionally accommodating, helpful and warm. Yes the hotel can use an upgrade to some areas. I found the villas style very relaxing. However, the bed mattresses and pillows can use an upgrade. Other pluses, the security guards do not hassle your local hotel guest(s). I’ve found some other properties very strict on such which I can understand for security reasons. The one big disappointment with this hotel is lack of ATM machines. I usually stay at Sofitel next door and they have an ATM machine conveniently located next to concierge.
Happy having staying there!
Stay was really perfect. Nice and rich breakfast.
Nice garden.. beautiful plants and pools.. but one day 9f rain and the tennis courts are oit of odrder for 1 week
Wood be nice add few restaurant choices or atleast keep both restaurants open daily Food quality is good Friendly staff
Facilities, friendly staff, entertainment and location
Very good for family
Gréât holidays
Perfect stay for family , I strongly recommend this hotel for families all around the world . Staff are multilingual. Food are great , and activities for all ages .
Fantastic and excellent service
We all enjoying staying there, very nice area with excellent service, i would like to thanks Anas and Cheima from Mini club who are lovely people, if i come back because of Mini club, very good animations too
Great Hotel , huge with nice seating all over
First time in this hotel after trying Tikida Palace , was worried because of the 4 stars rating , yet found it very nice , spacious and has extremely cozy seatings all over , food quality not to my expectations , yet repeating my remark on the all inclusive packages (why and why no room service !!! Even at charge it's forbidden!!!) Towels are very thin and better be replaces , quality of bathroom supplies not that great , soap & shampoo are 2 star quality
I have stayed at several RIU and this was by far the worse. The food was barely edible, the room was dirty and staff was rude.
Top Notch Stay!
Luxury resort with great food and friendly, helpful staff.
Awesome Hotel
Great hotel great staff. We'll definitely come again.
Family all inclusive
Wonderful, for family with kids is best choice, can be nice for couple.
A lovely place. My only complaint was no wifi in the room and no bathtub and outdoor pool was not heated as some of the neighboring hotels have.
Comfortable, family-friendly, resort
The pools were beautiful (though unfortunately it was too cold in January to make much use of the outdoor pools). Luckily there was a nice indoor pool that wasn't too crowded. The food was mediocre, except for the Moroccan food, which was fantastic. The food hours were great - there was pretty much always food available. The room was spacious, but there were a few issues. First, the two extra beds they put in for my kids were not very comfortable (one of them was basically a fold-up cot). Second, the upstairs neighbors were very noisy late at night. Lastly, the wifi didn't really work inside the room. We loved the pet cats roaming around the beautiful grounds. The beach was nice, though again it was too cold to really go in the water. Overall, a great place to relax for a few days.
4 star resort amenities in Morocco
A very nice, all inclusive property with direct access to the beach; beautiful and comfortable setting; like so many properties, the service offered to an older male traveling solo was minimal...poor seating choices for meals (please sit at the bar) and basically ignored by other service personell (mat're di, hotel managers, etc.)

Well worth the value and great location
Great location with proximity to the beach and bilinguals staff which made me feel very comfortable and welcome.
