Had a very relaxing time away from the city. The tub for 2 was an amazing retreat after touring around all day.

We had troubles with flights and other but they worked with us to make our stay the best as soon as we got there

We would NOT recommend this place to anyone staying in Brasov. The host (we didn’t get her name but she is in her 50s, blond shoulder length hair) is very rude which makes the whole stay very unpleasant. For example we had to wait 20 mins to be let in the main door for checkin, no apologies were given. Reading all comments about this place as well as all the aggressive responses from the host and seeing that it has a low rating makes so much sense. Save yourselves the trouble and pick another accommodation for your stay in Brasov.

Beyond excellent ! Everything was top notch! Room, cleanliness, breakfast, common areas, parking, staff, quiet location’s! can’t find a better value, in my opinion, at other hotels even at a much higher daily rate. Simply outstanding!!

Best in the city

What an amazing hotel. Very stylish and comfortable... this is easily a £250 a night equivalent in Amsterdam or Paris.. and it could match those hotels with style

Amazing hotel

Wow what a great hotel service as been amazing my room was a large room the bath is the biggest bath I have ever seen the bed is a super king size breakfast is was lovely the staff was so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble I will definitely be coming back to this hotel 10+ star

It was very relaxing and cill. Very good service and friendly staff. Cousy and clean.

Great property and staff. Breakfast had good selection. The Gold Room view to the back yard was very nice.

Slightly disappointed

The room was lovely apart from a few things that was disappointing; 1. Service was not great, quite a miserable concierge... made us feel unwelcome 2. Lots of lights not working in room, told the reception as we went out for the afternoon but not resolved upon our return 3. Hot Tub... to me a hot tub has bubbles, this literally was a big bath and nothing else

Amazing rooms with amazing view! Most of the staff was so accomidating! Cant wait to go back! We were a gay couple and we were treated very nicely!

Gorgeous

A gorgeous Villa, beautiful and clean rooms, very good breakfast and very friendly staff!!

The perfect "Faulty Towers" experience if you want to be insulted in an over-rated establishment. Poor value for money.  Not a 5 Star establishment. Very rude owner. We brought a nice wine from the town, but when we asked for wine glasses, we were refused. We wrote a compaint and unbelievably the owner actually wrote...."The price of a wine bottle in our hotel is 20 euros,if you can not afford to pay 20 euros for a bottle of wine means that you should choose a hostel." Do not take the Standard rooms on the ground floor. We were in room 1 and it was terrible.  The room is right next to the reception and opening out to the breakfast/common area.  Could hear every guest coming and going, every conversation, the TV in the common area, etc Curtains didn't fully close so light came in but worst still the window was at street level and anyone could see in.  No tissues provided.  No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No bottled water provided.  None of this particularly important to us, but if you claim to be a 5 star establishment, these are standard items. A coffee machine is right outside the room (in the breakfast area) but it was unclear if we were permitted to use it.  After asking twice, we were still not offered the use of the machine, so were embarrassed to use it. Hotel is a long way from the town up a very steep hill.  Only convenient if you have a car.  BTW you will pay 4.5 euro per day to leave your car in the (mostly empty) hotel car park.

Just amazing

The best hotel experience of my entire life! Everything was great - the room, the staff, the location (just take the bus 20 to the city - it takes 7 minutes, and the bus stop is really close). We were in the gold suite, and everything was perfect. I can reall recommend splurging on the VIP package, where you get a bathtub full of bubbles and roses, and a bottle of prosecco and a bunc of local sweets. Complete luxury!

Disappointing

The room was nice however the the bathroom needed some work done, it was old and you could see some mold around the corners. For a hotel that sells itself as being 4 or 5 stars, this is unacceptable.

Romantic hotel in brasov.

Very nice and romantic hotel up the hill from old town brasov. The staff has been excellent in every way and truly go out of there way to help.

Advance room payment, got pushed out on check in.

Terrible. I highly do not recommend. I booked and prepaid for 1 night a couple of months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 8pm after traveling the whole day, the staff said someone was there first and so they gave my room away. The manager's attitude was terrible. They moved us to a hotel that was a basic 2 to 3 star by western standards compared to this hotel that is a boutique 4 star hotel.

Beautiful Brasov Boutique Hotel

Outstanding hotel. Huge spacious room with gigantic hot tub. Lovely setting with clean mountain air. Quick (and very cheap) Uber trip into the city centre. Beds were a little creaky, but other wise very comfortable. Would definitely return.

Lovely staff! However, noisy room with no privacy.Toilet seat broken, sock left in wardrobe from previous guest, our glasses weren’t replaced with clean ones on the second day and there were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Really disappointed as we are on our honeymoon and were looking for a little bit of luxury during our stay.

Lovely, quirky, perfect.

A quirky but tasteful hotel in the hills of Brasov. Amazing room with interesting decor, lovely food, helpful staff. It made our special holiday a time to remember. You need a car or good taxi to get to the hotel.

Fantastic breakfast. Recently renovated rooms. Nearby walkway takes you to Old Braşov in less than 10 minutes.

Clean and beautifully decorated, staff courteous and professional. What I didn’t liked were the gps coordinates that send me at the wrong location in the middle of nowhere. Staff claimed that they filed a complaint with google map so it’s not the first time it happened. Other than that excellent property.

Wonderful romantic hotel

"Chambers'n charm hotel" was a wonderful surprise, it really "charmed" us. The architectural concept is original and romantic, the rooms are exquisite, spacious and beautifully decorated, the breakfast is luxurious and delicious, everything is at its best! Congratulations!

Have charged a parking fee even though it has not been mentioned anywhere. I think it's wrong and not fair.

Nice hotel close tk the mountains

The hotel had a wonderful design whilst a strong confortable feature. The staff are very welcoming and proffesional. Our stay was absolutely lovely, in a wonderful room at the top floor which gave us access to a fully glazed balcony next to our bed and a suprisingly big room space which we enjoyed. The breakfast is surely satisfying any type of dietery requirements, it is various and fresh in ingredients. Our stay at the Vila Chambers and Charms was lovely and we definetely recommend it!

It is a boutique hotel in the sense that all ten rooms are furnished differently. It is understaffed; but the receptionist goes out of the way to help. It is technically in Brasov, but actually far away from town. Restaurent serves only b reakfast. Spartan breakfast - but tasty and fresh. Nearest expensive retaurent is 0.5 km; affordable retaurents are7km away. It has been 5 star by a quirk of the Romanian system. In any other country it will be 2*. That said, it is a good hotel for motorists with low budget.

Great hotel in a wonderful area

We really liked the hotel, which is located in the mid-way from Brasov yo Poiana. The stuff was respectful and very helpful with everything. We got there with a rented car. Take onto consideration that it may be a bit difficult to get there by other means. The hotel charges extra payment for the parking. At the bottom line it will be a good choice for accommodation in Brasov.

Nice modern hotel

The hotel is a short 5 min taxi ride out of Brasov centre up a steep hill. The rooms were modern, comfy and well designed. The staff were really helpful and the views were lovely. Decent value and a good choice for price, location and style.

The place is great. It's very cozy and it's perfect for a couple.

To be avoided - do not trust the description

Their description on the website is totally deceiving. They are not 0.8 miles away from the center of the city - they are in the middle of nowhere. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The room had several problems - broken wc seat, broken wardrobe, broken tv-stand. There was no privacy as the room was too close to the reception/breakfast area and we could hear everything from outside. The room was also incredibly and uncontrollably hot in temperature and in tackiness. The final straw was that they charged us London prices for the water in the minibar, and didn't even give us a receipt - meaning they probably didn't declare the income. Just a horrible experience!

Last night in Romania - great restaurant!

Very high standard hotel, but the feel of the room was more referring to the bachelor pad rather than a cosy. The area was very isolated. And it was only saved by the fantastic restaurant just down the road (500m) "Belvedere" -great tasting menu and excel ante value. I would recommend to dress up to enjoy full experience as they try really hard to make it special occasion ( although we didn't know and went with casual dress).

It was old 5 star level and had long history feel.

The credit card can not be used and charge the local money use the highest rate that bank to convert Euro to local money without show the rate that they used.

Rooms fit for all brides of Dracula

Amazing service. Very clean. A bit far from city, but therefore very quiet. Bed a little squeaky and uncomfortable but everyone is different. I never, ever want to meet the designer who thought the rooms should be decorated as such. I enjoyed every second of staying in that room. It's quite something. I must call back to find out if what looked like a soaking tub was just that or a goth sarcophagus. Just awesome.

let's clarify one thing about the ratings of this hotel, this is NOT a 5 stars hotel. it comes with free parking, nice breakfast, location is very close to the nature (forest, hills, perhaps mountains). Staff service is also at high levels. my room and its amenities requires definitely some renovation/repairs. I haven't seen air-conditioning and I wasn't able to switch on the TV.

Hotel is really special, we were fortunate to try a coupe of rooms during our stay which were delightful and each unique. There are some minor signs that the property needs maintenance but don't let that discourage you from booking this unique property. Location is good but you will need a car.

Very good stay

Overall very good ! Staff is amazing, breakfast is amazing, location is very good if you have a car (but was a little bit hard to find because the address is off on Google Maps so watch out). The only thing is that our room did not have the expected view of the mountains.

Delightful, small hotel near Brasov

We had to change plans and stay in Brasov, and found this delightful, small hotel. We are rally glad we did - it was excellent in every way. One small warning though, the address details also apply to another building. This hotel is on the main road form Sinaia to Brasov.
