Good location to get to downtown or other shopping areas.
Notvery well managed. Standard mini zed. Many broken parts and dirt in the surrounding area. Does not look like environmentally safe to stay. Staff were excellent .Cooperative, but the premises not to the standard.
Parking was great, room and service was great, just could’ve been a Little cleaner- especially in the bathroom
Staff are all incredibly friendly. Great variety for the continental breakfast. Accomodating staff .
Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Enjoyed the continental breakfast, nice variety. Easy walking for my fur baby and my husband and I.
Nice hotel. Had a family member in the hospital and hotel was close by. Wifi was a little wonky and parking is tight.
Poor Customer Service - off night?
When checking in the guy at the front desk told me my card did not work and therefore they could have cancelled my reservation if they were full. However, i booked om Hotels.com and chose "pay at property" and should have not been charged until i arrived (as in the past). I tried explaining that to him but he said i was incorrect and basically was lucky I still had a room. After finishing the paperwork he explained how the hotel works and that there was only housekeeping upon request, and gave us directions to our room and the wifi password. He then pointed to my car and said we were in the accessible parking spot (there was no sign in front of the spot, only and extremely faded sign on the ground and it was night) i apologized and said we would move it after we checked in. The room was fine when we got in, nothing fancy. The lotion dispensor did not work and you had to press really hard for the soap. The next morning we realized we had no shower curtain. Called front desk and the guy said "okay we will send someone" i also asked for more towels he said okay and hung up. No apologies or anything. They did send someone with new towels, didnt take away dirty towels. Also the parking lot is incredibly small but not their fault. Defintrly an older hotel with a facelift, but the beds were comfy and it was a place to sleep.
Recommend
The property was great.Excellent hot breakfast. Very friendly staff and has a lounge and restaurant and outside dining
Lovely front desk man. So pleasant. Room is nice and bright and clean and good bathtub! Return customer. Many thanks!!! Pam/Whistler
Everything is fine
friendly staff and good value for money
"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ramada in Upper Sahali, Kamloops! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. The location was also perfect for exploring the area, and I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kamloops!"
I was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. I loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the pool area and gym facility.
Very friendly staff, eager to help. Enjoyed it very much
Warm and welcoming staff made our stay unforgettable.
Perfect for a relaxing getaway – wonderful hospitality!
Exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location – highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!"
Easy and affordable
Nice location. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Need to add more things in breakfast.
Excellent hotel
Loved itbenjoyed thevhotbtub and comfy bed
Quiet
Great stay!
It a nice place.
Not much of a breakfast offered. Otherwise a nice hotel.
My recent stay at Ramada Kamloops exceeded all my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their attention to detail was outstanding. The room was not only stylish but also equipped with everything I could possibly need. I loved the breakfast buffet, which had so many delicious options. The hotel's location made it easy to explore the city. I couldn't have asked for a better experience—definitely worth every penny!
I had a fantastic experience staying at the Ramada in Kamloops! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the cozy bed and the quiet atmosphere, perfect for a restful night. The hotel's location is also ideal, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend the Ramada Kamloops to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!
Disappointing
As regular Ramada guest we were very disappointed with our stay. My wife woke me up near midnight when she noticed the fridge wasn’t on - i had to pull it out and plug it in at midnight. Room heating was also not working properly.
Great hotel
Good stay
Comfy beds. Noisy floors.
They took 100$ more than what was invoiced. If it was a deposit the hotels usually fix it once we leave.
Location to hospital
Friendly
The property is older but met my needs. Was clean and functional. Staff was great
I’ve stayed a few times. It’s cost effective, accessible and accommodating
Great
I was tired after long drive and the young man was very pleasant and got me to my room asap. I would certainly stay at that property again
Horrible hotel
Room was freezing cold felt like rhe window was open with the ac on And they wouldn't give me a different room On the website it says breakfast included and when i finally was checked in theh give you a paper back with a bottle of water and a bag of cookies
Location
Either fine close to everything staff was a little bit sketchy. We got there at 8:30. People ahead of us didn’t have reservations. He took their IDs and then he took my ID with the reservation and checked them at first. It was weird. Our stay was pleasant as always rooms were clean beds, comfy pillows, so comfy again of course and we’re in town.
Upon arrival the staff member was polite. when I got to my first room there was no shower curtain and the fridge did not close. We then got moved to a new room. In the early morning hours my boyfrind got an upset stomach due to his chrons and does not do well with some foods. He plugged the toilet as well as got a small amount of bile on the bed sheets. I went down to the front desk and the lady working said it would be a charge for the bed sheet and she will send someone up to unplug the toilet. We went to eat "breakfast" as it states free breakfast but to my suprise it was a continental breakfast. I was disappointed. I then went back to my room and the toilet was still plugged. We then left to and came back at noon and the toilet still had not been unplugged. Finally when we came back at supper time the toilet was clean. There was only bile in the toilet so it was not a disgusting mess by any means and for us to have to go downstairs to use the bathroom after paying for services, I would think would be a simple task, was frustrating. Especially when my boyfriend has a bowel disease.
Very friendly staff, easy check in, room was very clean overall was a very pleasant stay here
The experience was terrible we had a late night travelling and got there late and the room was canceled and I had a basketball tournament that morning getting no sleep and having to sleep in my grandpas van
Very clean and quiet great place to stay
Great staff. Bit old and complimentary breakfast was a bit sad looking.
Good stay
It was a great place to stau
Good price
It was so close to work. Stayed for 1 night
This is a good location, it is near the university. The smoking area is right outside the second building, so the smoke smell permeates into the hottub area, and that hallway.
Excellent service checking in and room service.
Service was nice! We were offered to upgrade for free when checking in! King room was spacious, with coffee machine, microwave and mini fridge. Worth the price! coffee
Easy access to the university
This Ramada is run down..dirt in rooms. Soap container around hot tub, sketcht person collecting cans ouside dimly lit parking. Breakfast cereal options carbo load. Juice watery. Not ever to return as other hotels have lication and nutritional brekfast choices.
Good towels, excellent shower, comfy bed. Nice to have a diner in the restaurant. Some holes in wall in bathroom, would look better if repaired. Good for the price for a short stay while travelling through.
I enjoyed having everything within the property in close proximity.
When booking I expected after a long drive to get there to be able to relax in a hot tub but It was out of order. The room wasn’t properly cleaned we found hairs in the sink. There was one queen bed as expected but only one night stand for two people and only one very worn and filthy lounge chair to sit on. I called the front desk for another chair and they brought a folding metal chair with a vinyl covered cardboard seat. I will never book there again.
While this hotel would have received a 4* rating from me as it checked the box of a comfortable sleep for one night as a last minute booking, there is a major safegaurding concern regarding the front desk staff. I checked in as a single female, with a lobby full of out of country tourists. There must have been at least 20-25 people checking in at the same time as when I checked in, and the staff member who checked me in felt it necessary to announce my room number out loud within earshot of all of them. This is not only unnecessary as it is written on the sleeve of my room key, but also announces to every man (and woman) that there is a young female checking in ALONE to room number ___. It is standard practice in the hotel industry to not do this to anyone checking in, female/single or not, and I feel like this was a major oversight. The reason I’m bothering to leave a review is because I mentioned this on the feedback portion during online checkout and never recieved a response, which leads me to believe that they do not care and don’t see or understand why this would be an issue.
Convenient, clean and comfortable.
Average hotel over priced
Got there, fell asleep uninterrupted and is all I wanted.
I broke my truck mirror dented door in the parking lot There parking space width is minimal and cement pillars hazards
Hotel was old and needs some upgrades. Floor was creaky. Bed was uncomfortable and sheets were uncomfortable as well. The hotel was not wheelchair friendly.
Dirty room
The hotel provided a nice restaurant and the staff were great. The accommodations are average but we’re ok for our 1 night stay.
The room was extremely dirty, the sofa bed wasn't made (no linens provided), and it looked like there was poop on the mattress, pubic hair in the lotion and soap dispensers, mold in the bathroom, air conditioner was broken and making loud noises so we had to unplug it to sleep so the room was extremely hot. We still have nightmares about the horrible night spent in this disgusting hotel.
I would have liked an ice machine available to fill the ice bucket in the room, the room was clean. The ceiling above the shower showed signs of previous water damage. It was adequate for the night that I needed it, I will probably stay again.
Place likes to charge $400/night because it’s a long weekend. Shame!
I couldn’t get into the water in the shower because of the shower head’s fixed position. My 6 year old couldn’t either. No comforter or duvet cover, only a bunch of stacked flat sheets. Tv remote was broken, phone didn’t work. AC didn’t cool the whole room in 30 hear even after being left on the coolest setting for 3 days straight. Vouchers for breakfast are not worth it as you have to order off an older and smaller menu, and the size of the meal is smaller (proportionate, not a deal).
.
Location good, but in need of some tlc.
Location is very good. However having stayed here several times the standard of maintenence has slipped. It is starting to need a little bit of attention and a spruce. Also, please put a net curtain or blind in the windows, as you have to keep the curtains pulled over permanently as everyone can see in from the main road. Thr staff were all very nice.
Terrible mattress. No support. Had to hang onto the sides. Even paid extra for the king size.
Slept soundly and comfortably and the restaurant has good good food. Our dog was happy too. Love it! We will be back.
Dispensers had no soap or bath wash, pillows were very flat, hand towel box was empty, extractor fan extremely noisy. Had to keep bathroom door open because extractor fan was too noisy which caused bathroom to steam a lot so makeup was difficult. Bathroom door was hard to close. Room lighting not good. When an extra pillow request was made via phone I was told by front desk that there were no spare pillows. Had to visit the front desk and stress that I needed extra pillows as my neck hurts, and was finally given one. Made a request at front desk to refill dispensers, this was not done, good that I had my personal toiletries. Food at dining hall was good. Hotel location was also good.
Friendly and efficient staff
Good experience
Kamloops. The hotel is situated in the city center of Kamloops, which had some convenience factor, but very limited as to bigger cities. I found the area of Kamloops to be quiet boring, but others may say different. The hotel itself needs a full overhaul; they should rebuild the entire property. Outdated. Dirty. Inconvenient rooms with no elevator to the third and fourth floors; these floors are located in the second building and you have to walk up a long ramp to get to the door. This Ramada lived up to its description; pretty run down and not worth it, at all. The room was okay, but the overall comfort level was not there. We did have a nice mountain and water view, but that did not make up for the comfort of the room, which makes your trip extra special or not so much. Look for another property. Although, when we searched they all seemed to be around the same. Kamloops is an area that I would skip altogether. We only stayed there to visit Clearwater and a few waterfalls in that area, otherwise we would not have been anywhere near Kamloops.
It was nice staying in the hotel.
It was adequate.
Limited staff to assist. No coffee in room. Missing hand/face towels and no staff on hand to bring to room. Restaurant and lounge were closed. Check out clerk was indifferent and didn’t care. Property was old and needed a facelift.
Clem and very comfortable
Good
Comfortable stay and good experience
TV did not work. We did not request to have room serviced (2 night stay) but needed clean towels, called room service and was told to get it at the front desk. Soap dispenser was not fillled. I was happy that they gave 2 bottles water and a few snacks at welcoming. Older building, carpets worn out. Shower has very good pressure. The restaurant has very slow service (didnt mind because we had family members join us).
Columbia Diner was great. Only one chair in the room was not acceptable. On the whole a good place to stay 😌👍
The whirlpool room was excellent!
Property was in good sharp but noisy when people entering rooms.
we enjoyed the quietness away from the city and other restaurants were in close distance as well .
We stayed 1 night on a 2 day drive. Front desk was efficient and very nice. Clean room and bathroom, comfy bed with good sheets and pillows. We left at 530am after a great sleep.
Worth for the money. We enjoyed restaurant facility a lot.
Excellent customer service, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Area property was located in seemed a bit depressed though not unsafe. Hotel restaurant was good with other dining options within walking distance.
It met our needs on a one night stay.
Nice place and the restaurant right on the property was fantastic
recent trip to Kamloops
This was an overnight trip and could not assess all amenities and facilities
Very friendly staff, quiet location. Parking was very full at the end of the day.
Very nice place to stay definitely will again i forgot all my booze in the fridge tho lol
Good location,
Great shower - lots of hot water and pressure. Big fluffy towels. Quiet air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Only thing is the people in the room above us were very heavy footed and running around. We complained and it stopped for a while. Next time will get top floor.
needs some major work
The bed was extremely soft and not supportive at all. ceiling peeling and the floors are very uneven and damaged and hard to walk on. Even had to cover up a spot on the floor with a towel, as I hurt my foot on it and didn't want to step on the floor again. I have stayed before when they were in the middle of renos, and thought it might be ok... wouldn't recommend
Wounderful stay great friendly staff clean
Great room great price and clean

The bathroom had no room to even dry after a shower.. no counter space for your toiletries... No facecloths. Coffee would not slide in the machine and couldn't get anyone to help me with it. Free breakfast was on the 3rd floor Monday... Tuesday they were closed. When I asked about it the person laughed at me and mentioned it had been closed since forever... yet I ate there yesterday.... breakfast was on the ground floor Tuesday morning so finally able to get a coffee... Not as good of an experience as all the others times i have stayed there. No information package on the table or in the drawer.. Had too google taxi service. Very noisy my last night which woke me up at 2.00 am and kept me up.... tired driving back home to Williams Lake.
