I booked this place last minute to save us from a terrifying & terrible booking at the Ramada Inn & I’m so glad we discovered this place! We come to Albany often & this is now our #1 spot. Clean, friendly, great room & great breakfast! Don’t hesitate to book here - don’t be deterred by affordable price or any negative reviews. This is an excellent deal & excellent place to stay!

nice, quiet, simple,,,,

Was not able to stay at this hotel because I did not have the $250 deposit to be able to stay. I also wasn't able to get a refund back on my money. So they kept my $101 and I wasn't able to stay at the hotel. I will never be staying at this hotel again

The beds were cleans but the floor, lamp shade, blinds, desk chair were dirty.

Great value for the price

Overbooked hotel so my reserved room was gone upon check-in. Room had a bad lingering smell of fast food. Attempts to air out the room didn’t work. Smoke alarm kept beeping all night since the front desk didn’t have batteries to replace it. Late checkout request went ignored as cleaning staff pounded on our door 10 minutes before normal checkout.

Indoor Pool is closed. It was the main reason we chose this hotel. sad

Staff was kind and accommodating. I left my watch. When I realized I was already on the highway. I called the first front desk the staff member informed me that the cleaning department had already returned the watch to the front desk. Honesty it’s rare and nice to see. I am also a travel nurse so I get off at 7 AM. Staff was accommodating, which I appreciate it very much.

Walls are thin. Empty beer bottle sat in the common area for 2 days.

This place is our gem when we have to travel here. Yes, it is outdated. However, I do not need the Taj Mahal for my stays. It’s really clean and quiet. Breakfast is fantastic! Staff are friendly. Pool and gym equipment are a plus! I love my stays here!

The room was clean and we had room service for the first time(in any hotel)since COVID. The bed was comfortable, the staff was effecient and the free hot breakfast was great. The pool was clean and the whole facility was well cared for. For some it would be considered dated, but it was a great value and a comfortable stay!

Hotel is outdated but has all of your basic needs (comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, fridge, ok breakfast spread) which was all that I asked. We had to be in this specific area for a JR sport tournament. I would likely not stay here again if there were better options in the area.

I came to spend Thanksgiving with my sister-in-law. The hotel was conveniently located and everyone was friendly and accommodating. The pool was ok and the complimentary breakfast was decent. When I return to Schenectady I will definitely consider returning to this hotel.

The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. My only minor complaint was one of the light switches broken. Excellent value.

Junky

Kinda a tight area for big trucks, but they were very accommodating with finding me room to park my truck.

No elevator-I requested a ground floor room and the nice young lady gave an upgrade to a larger room on the bottom floor. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Breakfast very good and plentiful. I would return if I am in the area in the future.

Hotel was ok. The bed was really uncomfortable. The room was not in good condition. Lots of peeling paint around the air conditioner. Staff was nice. Breakfast was not good.

This is my second stay at the Quality Inn. It is a very affordable, clean option in Schenectady with amenities such as full breakfast, pool, etc. The customer service was exceptional. Jenn at the Front Desk was helpful with providing all the pertinent hotel information and information about the surrounding area. She gave us a great restaurant recommendation. I would stay here again, as well as refer friends and family.

It is outdated and needs sone work but It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice stay.

Convenient clean

Pool was very nice, staff was kind and helpful. Our room was clean, breakfast was not great but wasn't expecting much. The restaurant next door was wonderful, love that it was in walking distance.

Good hotel for a one night stay.

The hotel was in good shape and clean. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The only little defect was that the electrical outlets on the lamp between the beds are old and don't establish a firm connection. I had to bend the prongs on my plug closer together to get it to work.

Spent 3 days theres. Space was solid for what we came there for. Food in the area.

Needs some work

The best part of our stay there was BREAKFAST…everything else, not so good. Upon arriving and opening up our 4 rooms, all of them had a funky odor going on, hopefully not mold, but definitely noticeable as soon as we opened the doors. Once the A/C units were turned on and some fresh air flowing, the smell subsided for the most part. All the rooms for the most part needed attention, some had major carpeting issues, we had a room with holes in the bathtub that appeared to be repaired with nail polish, a bathroom mirror with the trim falling off the wall refrigerators not plugged in and working upon our arrival…and other issues here and there. Overall, if it wasn’t a quick overnight in and out, we probably would of left and looked for something elsewhere. Hopefully at some point they can get things figured out in their rooms, because the morning breakfast bar was definitely one of the nicer ones we’ve experienced.

Wonderful and helpful woman checked us in. I have stayed at dozens of Quality Inns. This was the cleanest inside with updated bathroom and room. Carpets were freshly vacuumed. Great stay and value for the money. good breakfast included too.

Front dest staff were grate. Jen was very helpful.! The room doors need soft closing as they are loud and catch ypu off gard

I did not like Expedia overcharging 120 bucks. Expedia charged 550. If I booked through Quality I would have saved 100 bucks

The property itself is worn down needs at least a fresh coat of paint and general updates. No elevator to get to 2nd floor. If you have any mobility issues you either need the 1st floor OR book somewhere else! The rooms were clean, pillows and sheets smelled clean but old AC had a musty odor.

I didn’t stay the room smelled like Pee The AC was blowing out a pee smells so they moved me to another room and that room was blowing out the same smell and the bed had blood on the sheets was not staying after that decided that because I did use the pool that I would pay half now I’m trying to get my money and I’m getting the run around

Great One Nighter!

The check in was friendly and detailed, the room was large and clean with room for 2 yoga mats on the floor, had 5.7cu mini fridge, microwave and morning self coffee station. Breakfast was typical - waffle maker, eggs, sausage and lots of other carbs. Well worth the price!

An ok value

The hotel served its purpose for our trip. The hotel was dated and could have been cleaner in the furnishings. Loved the restaurant next door. Had a lovely Italian meal.

The hotel staff was friendly and areas appeared clean. The hotel is outdated and the rooms need updating. The back of the door in the bathroom was peeling off and the carpet had spots missing from it. The stopper in the tub was broken. The only drawer was broken and there was water/cleaning supply damage to the tv stand especially around the fridge. The room also smelled like it used to be a smoking room and didn’t have a pleasant odor. Beds were firm, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast with good variety and the area was clean and organized.

I’ve stayed at many hotels and this was one of the worst condition wise The desk in our room was barely being held together the air system was so old you couldn’t even read the dials the chair had legs that were bending so didn’t want to use it the dresser had a door ripped off and hadn’t been dusted in forever and then the tv turned on randomly throughout the night we had to unplug it

Would stay again

Conveniently located - close enough to 90. Leas expensive than Albany hotels. Didn’t have a chance to try out the pool be amuse it closed at 9. Restaurant next door was pricy, but good. Whatever they use for cleaning had a very perfumy odor which was less than pleasant, but even with my allergies, it could have been worse. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Overall, I’d stay again.

Nice stay

We booked two rooms. Both were very nice except room 103 the bathroom is very odd you can go to the bathroom and wash your hands at the same time (sink is to close to toilet) not enough room between the two.

The bathroom door was swollen making me wonder if I ever got it closed, would I be able to get out?

I got an upgraded room which was nice. I reported some minor maintenance issues which were never addressed. But otherwise I had a nice stay.

Excellent stay. Breakfast was plentiful including eggs, potatoes and bacon or sausage. Pool was clean although it was a bit dim in there. Not a lot of lights on. Room was clean and area outside was clean. Front desk staff was super helpful. Would recommend.

Very nice

Staff was very nice. Shower was a bit moldy and the door to our room and to the outside would only latch if pushed on, so they took specific effort to keep locked.

The hotel was convenient to the Old Songs Festival. And staff was lovely. But it has some maintenance issues. We could see daylight through the gaps surrounding the air conditioner. Broken light switches.

Great hotel, needs better coffee. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There were kids running around late at night and they delt with it effectively. My only suggestion is get better coffee because it was like drinking dirty water.

It was a good stay in the room! Outside the room may have been unsafe!

The breakfast was mediocre. The room is decent.

The closet door needed work. The veneer was coming of the bottom of the inside of the bathroom door. There was no instruction in the room for the TV remote.
