The hotel was unique but we were not explained how to use the hotel to get the best of our stay. As we are in the older age group we find it harder to use modern technology non of the staff offered to show or explain it to us as also with the rules about the breakfast menu. The service was not good for a hotel of this category. The food that was offered was poor and lacked variety.All the food we had was not up to a 4 or 5 star hotel which we are used too. Our stay at your hotel was disappointing regards Michael and Elizabeth Meade

Staff seemed to love their job and made for a pleasant stay. Great location and nice facilities also.

Great facilities, perfect location excellent staff

I think the service is incredible.

The staff were incredibly accomodating and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need and more. The rooftop bar is beautiful at sunset and breakfast downstairs in the morning was the cherry on top. Will definitely be back and wouldn’t go anywhere else in Newcastle.

Staff were super helpful and dinner in the restaurant was delicious

Upbeat hotel in great town

Very cool upbeat hotel in a good location in Newcastle, a great town, which we loved. The rooftop bar is excellent.

Greta comfortable stay; would stay again

It was our first stay at QT Newcastle and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cool design; upscale feel; would not hesitate to recommend

Modern and clean. Our room was very nice and service was great. The only small issue (almost not worth mentioning) was there was only one bin and the area one block west is all boarded up and tagged.

Great place to stay in Newcastle Centre

Stylish and comfortable hotel in central Newcastle for a weekend with friends.

The place was incredibly well decorated, and just had a nice atmosphere, the roomwas very cool and super clean! We actually have booked again for this coming week!

Enjoyed stay excellent stopover on business trip self park valet worked well. Only negative ipad for contacting front desk was useless for an overnight stay.

Quaint and quirky and the friendliest staff in all of NSW. Congratulations Team, you rock!!

Quiet, clean and loved the decor

From the first few minutes of waking into the hotel to the last moment we walked out, we were blown away with how fantastic the staff were. Every single person we encountered were friendly, helpful, and just seemed happy to be there. The room was stunning and it was better than expected. Will definitely be returning!

This property was such a wonderful surprise - great location, amenities, rooftop bar, breakfast and staff service. We loved the art deco styling of the rooms with such thoughtful and fun details. The neighborhood was fascinating and a great homebase for exploring Newcastle.

Overall excellent experience. Didn’t like the ipad in room communication. Did not work for checking Rooftop bar menu and sent our room service order twice. Best value was prepaid breakfast. Worst value was room service Cheese Platter missing one of three cheese (2 received) & tiny portions

An outstanding hotel. While the facilities, beds, bars and room fittings (shampoo, conditioner etc) were all outstanding, the service shown by the hotel when it came to my EV was excellent. We arrived short on charge without a plan after a long drive. The concierge then outlined the Valet service which included normal valet parking and an overnight charge for $50. Outstanding value and service and make our subsequent trip to the nearby beach for a swim all the more enjoyable!!

Close to amenities & walk along the shore.

Great location for adults, short walk to the East End where all the nice restaurants are on the harbour. Really good rooms, our was on level 1 with high celings and a two person bath - no complaints at all, would definitely stay here again!

Spacious room with tun and comfortable bed

We went for the King room that had a bathtub. Room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location, close to the water and woolies just down stairs. Had a lovely check in experience with Billy, who made us feel really welcomed. Rooftop bar was cute with nice views too.

Thought everything about this place was amazing, great for a weekend away or a longer holiday, and very reasonable price wise

QT is a gorgeous option for Newcastle - centrally located and beautiful rooms! Look forward to visiting again in August!

I love QT, always works, and i love the quirky decor and tweaks. QT Gold Coast is my fav hotel in the world, this one is great too! The staff were all super friendly and helpful too... even on Xmas day (Thanks for the cookies!! :))

The staff at the desk were so absolutely kind, open and friendly which set the whole experience up for us. The two girls who were there late on Christmas Day were beautiful to us and gave my kids a little gift also.

New Quirky Hotel in an old facade in Newcastle

QT Is quirky and really quite a nice Hotel.

Friendly service, fantastic rooms and had a very enjoyable stay!

Great team!

The QT team were super helpful and friendly. The gym access is via a deal with a local gym, so you get a great workout in a proper gym with great equipment. The food is awesome. Definitely will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at QT Newcastle. The staff were extremely cheerful and very helpful with any of our enquiries or needs. Special shout out to Grace, Catherine, Mallory and others at the front desk who always greeted us with a welcoming smile

Great location in the centre of Newcastle with a short walk to the beach. Amazing views from the rooftop bar

This hotel is stunning. The fit out is top notch, staff are warm and welcoming. Is situated in an area of. Castle that retains its old world charm. Highly recommend!

Well located property. Excellent front desk staff. Lovely clean room. Overall a great place to stay, I’ll go again

Expensive small room and pricey restaurant

The room was quite small but very modern. The room service from the restaurant downstairs was quite pricey ($28 entree - 3 scallops, $44 main - small piece of fish) and serving size was small. Too many drinks in the bar fridge, very difficult to put anything else into it.

Beautiful room, modern and very comfortable. The girl on the front counter was amazing! She was so friendly and genuine.

The QT is a great place to stay in Newcastle, the team that work there are all really friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are fab!

Wasnt much help with finding dining solutions- initially was told there was access to food till 11pm however chef left early

I often use the QT Newcastle for business trips, great location walkable for some appointments, the hotel is clean, staff are always polite, food options are good in & around the hotel.

Such a nice little hotel. Great location with some amazing restaurants nearby. Possibly one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. Staff were so incredibly friendly

Lovely hotel, great location.

The room and hotel is really lovely, the staff were also very nice. The only downfall was the lack of personal service. We were not a fan of the self check in. The after 9pm room service menu needs a revamp. Eggplant parmigiana, banana bread and granola is far from what people want to eat at this time.

some staff attitude. my wife and I returned to the hotel at 11.30p and asked one of the staff behind the bar for a glass of water and was told the bar was closed. It was only a glass of water! not impressed with attitude.

Nice hotel. Lovely room and comfy bed. Good provisions snd equipment in the room. Disappointed that the restaraunt was closed but understand they had an issue that needed urgent remedial repairs.

Great boutique hotel

Perfect stay for just 1 night. The room has a contemporary cosy interior but that’s due to the bathroom taking up more space which was actually more practical in the end. There was lots of room to do makeup and magnified mirror was awesome. The mattress felt too soft for us (more plush/medium) but maybe most people prefer that. The rooftop bar was buzzing on a Saturday night and we had an amazing dining experience at the restaurant downstairs. They didn’t have their own carpark which was unfortunate but a short walk around the street corner and down the lift is only a few minutes away.
