Hidden gem!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Although it was short, Luka gave us 5* service from check in to check out! Rooms were stunning, breakfast was incredible and cant beat the location! Do not hesitate to stay here :)

A very cool experience right in old town. Easily accessible. Parking on streets was easy and free overnight. A short walk to old town.

Really lovely property, perfect location. Lucas is very helpful and informative. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and just what we needed!

You cannot beat the location INSIDE the palace walls. It's a small room but has everything you could need. Luka is so nice and helpful.

It was very cool to stay right within the walls of the palace. This was a cute and Cleme place, easy to get around to everything by walking. There are no cars in the palace walls. But the parking is a 5 min walk from the place. Very easy to park and walk.

We left for an excursion early on the day of arrival. I contacted the property and a gentleman was nice enough to come in specifically to meet me to store our bags. Location can't be beaten.

Wonderful to stay in the middle of the old city. The owners were extremely helpful navigating us to get there. The room was better that expected. Thanks

Clean, convenient location, lovely host

Pylon rooms were the perfect way to wind up our 2-week stay in Croatia. Owner Luka was very proactive and made sure we had all the info in advance to locate our property (a tricky thing inside the Palace area and its winding corridors). He even provided pictures so everything was clear, from the look of the door to the keypad, codes, etc. Most helpful. He responded quickly to all communications, and stopped by to ensure we were happy and comfortable, while providing some suggestions for local, authentic food (Restaurant Sug is delicious!). The room was very clean, nicely proportioned and quiet. The location was just far enough form the epicentre of the Palace to be quite yet still very central. We highly recommend Luka & Pylon rooms for a stay in Split.

Our stay was very enjoyable however the only thing I would recommend to improve the experience is to run a dehumidifier in the space so that it is not so musty. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Loved being so close to everything.

Luka picked us up from the airport, our flight got in quite late but he was happy to help us and took the time on arrival to show us the best things to do nearby. He then dropped us back to the airport 5 days later, despite us only staying at pylon rooms for one night, what a guy

Luka went out of his way to provide us with a phenomenal experience and make things easier (helping us park our car and carry luggage up and down stairs). He immediately responded to any questions we had. Pylon rooms was in a perfect location close to the main golden gate and areas within the palace it was a little jewel within an amazing historical complex! Stunning and fun!

It was great and Luca was very helpful and nice. I recommend!

We arrived late (airline issue) & Luka arranged pick up. As he took us to our room he showed us local sites including restaurants & historic landmarks. It made the next day easy because of the quick tour . Breakfast was also included & the food was good. Would stay here again.

Great Stay!

Luca was amazing! His pleasant manner in outgoing person was a pleasure. He helped me secure, private parking and restaurant recommendations in Split and on the way to Dubrovnik. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs a place to stay in Split!!

I highly recommend staying here! The location is perfect the place is great! The Best part was Luka he went above and beyond as a host! It was my first time to Croatia. He made it easy from the time we stepped off the plane. He picked us up, showed us the way.

Luka was a fantastic and proactive host. He was always available by WhatsApp and arranged transport to airport for us. The apartment was spotless, the beds were very comfortable and air conditioner worked great on muggy and hot day/night. Would definitely stay again.

Start to our Croatian vacation

Was a great start to our Croatian holiday .Luka communicated after our reservation was made, and coordinated airport transfer where he personally picked us up. He also had sent options and made dinner reservation. The room was neat, clean and in a very Convenient location in the old palace . There are several stairs to the room but again Luka helped with our luggage, also checked multiple times to assure we had no additional needs Overall it was a very good experience

Luka was AMAZING!! Super helpful with everything from parking to beaches to restaurants! Even after we checked out he gave us advice on where to go eat at put next location. A true gem who gave 5 star treatment !

Perfect

WOW what an amazing find, right in the heart of Split. The apartment is stunning and super clean. Perfect for our overnight stop, the accommodation is split level with a double bed in each, very comfy beds and fully equipped with all we needed. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts, would definitely recommend

Great location, small but perfectly formed.

Literally in the Diocletian Palace, nowhere is more than 3 minutes walk away. Luka, the host is really helpful and gave us some great tips on restaurants. The apartment is small but has everything you need and it is all clean and high quality. Its a little bit of a trek from the car park with luggage so if you can travel light that makes it easier.

Luka the host was great. Constant communication up to and including our stay. He met us outside early in the morning and kept our bags so we could go touring. The location is right in the center of the old walled city and next to the Diocletian Palace. The marina, ferry and cruise port are within walking distance. We walked from our cruise ship to the hotel in about 15 minutes. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Overall a great stay.

This is a hidden gem. Central to the old city. The property manager is beyond stellar. He helped with lost bags, transit, restaurant recommendations, etc. Great apt for a family with a bed up and down stairs. Easily walkable and great location. Cannot recommend this enough. If you are in split stay here.

The place was located right within the city walls and everything was walking distance from our room. The owner, Luka, was wonderful with providing tips for dining and sightseeing. Would definitely stay again on our next visit.

Great place in old city

Luka is awesome. Places are great. They are in the Diocletian Palace and though it's a short walk from drop off point, it's well worth it. Thanks Luka!

This a very unique and interesting property and a great location. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend it.

Luka is the manager,and he was extremely good with us,helping us when we we were lost,help us with the car and luggage. The hotel is in the heart of historic Split,2 minutes walk from all the historic attractions.

Luca was an excellent host. He helped us in every way possible. The room was right in the center of split. ..a five minute walk from the oldest cathedral in europe!

I liked the location and the room except the washroom was strange. You could see right through to the washroom…..no privacy! We would not get this room again because of this reason.

Great location, room was great and service was fabulous. Luka was so welcoming and helpful with lots of recommendations. Breakfast at Lvxor was pretty horrendous, don’t get the salmon (option C), but it was “free” so we just left it and ate elsewhere.

Room with a very tiny bathroom

This room is in a great location, but difficult to find. The room was quiet,small with a very tiny bathroom my husband kept hitting his head on the sink. I didn't like having to use the thin,rough bath towels for 2 days. We were told upon arrival that we needed to use our towels for 2 days. If the towels were thicker I would not of mind it. The breakfast was delicious. I just didn't think this room was a 4 star more like a 3 star rating.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pylon Rooms. The room (Pylon 3) was cute, clean, comfortable and quiet. The central location was perfect. Luka was proactive with sending check in instructions. We went with the airport pick up option which ended up being a wise choice. Our flight arrived late and Luka waited for us and shared the history of the area on the drive to Split. He was proactive with sending check in instructions. Check in and check out was easy. Highly recommend staying at Pylon Rooms.

Perfect stay in Split

Would absolutely recommend! Clean, amazing location, and Luka was an excellent host. Would also recommend his airport pickup. He was waiting for us upon arrival and it was affordable and worry free.

Good night sleep

Very nice room in the heart of the historic area. The room was very quiet, dark and cool - all perfect for sleeping. Luka was very helpful.

We had a great stay at Pylon rooms! Luka arranged transportation for us from the airport, educated us on the area, and ensured we had everything we needed. Was very clean and a very convenient location!

The property is uniquely located inside the historical area of the city. it is clean neat with all modern day comforts. The location has access to the narrow streets and intimate restaurants, cafes and bars It does , however, require the climbing of 3 flights of stairs. Also the location is not easily accessed and requires a significant amount of walking on cobblestone streets with your luggage, so if you have a lot this can be quite challenging. The owner was very friendly, gracious and helpful. We arranged for him to pick us up at the airport (for a fee). He helped carry much of the luggage to the hotel and then up the stairs to the room. EXPEDIA SHOULD LET YOU KNOW THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Apart from this the experience was Pleasent

This property is right in old Town very conveniently located to everything. The owner was above & beyond helpful & kind to help us with our bags & directions there. Also upon leaving helped get our bags to the ferry

Luka was wonderful. He arranged a car to pick us up at the airport and to take us back also. It cost the ride because it was a taxi service. They cleaned the room and fresh towels.plus for the youtubers D16 coffee shop is only two feet away. This place is in the heart of everything. We enjoyed alot. Thank you Luka.

The Pylon Rooms are located right in the Diocletian Palace. Some of the walls of the rooms are from the original walls. It is a stone's throw to the best restaurants, the Palace square where free concerts are held every night. The included breakfasts are excellent from a local restaurant. Luka, the owner is so helpful and accommodating. Cannot recommend the Pylon Rooms enough.

This place is inside Diocletian’s palace, which has its pros and cons. The room we had was super cool with its old stone walls and updated amenities. It is very close to lots of dining and shopping but is kind of tucked away, so despite the crowds it was still pretty quiet. The room itself was nice and clean. We had a room with two levels. The downstairs got pretty cold at night but overall the room was very comfortable. The bathroom, however, is TINY, and we had an issue with the shower draining properly, but the owner was super responsive and quick to address the issue. Getting to the room was slightly cumbersome since you can’t drive a car into the palace. We had to drag our luggage a little ways, but the owner met us on the street and helped us with our things and showed us the way. He even offered to pick us up at the airport, but we had already booked another driver. All things said, I was very happy with our stay and would highly recommend… if you don’t mind a tiny bathroom. :)

Location is amazing

Amazing location just metres from the historical centre of split. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The room was spacious and well equipped. Nice sitting area, good air conditioning. Included breakfast was at a lovely cafe in the square. Owner is happy to help and waited for us an hour after the 10 pm check in when our train was delayed. Highly recommend them .

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The host met us at the parking lot to direct us to the room. The room was awesome! In the middle of everything, yet also secluded. Highly recommend this place.

Luka was amazing! Met us to bring luggage and made sure we were happy. Great location and perfect room.

Absolutely spectacular location in the old palace. I have travelled the world, but never been in a location this spectacular. Luca was extremely accommodating in receiving us at midnight. If you arriving from the airport I recommend that you arrange for transportation through him, the location is hard to find on your own.

Fantastic location unique place.

Luka’s place was fantastic. Situated right in the center of town. Steps away from coffee, shopping, restaurant and sites. We loved our stay and Luka was very good with communication and even coordinated a ride from the airport. We would definitely stay here again. Have two separate bedroom areas was a plus for our family.

This hotel is wonderful, and right in the old town. The location doesn’t get better, and hosts were very nice to meet you help you get to the room.

Weekend in Split

Perfect location, 5 mins walk from all the main sites, shops, and boardwalk. It's situated within the Old Palace walls which give it a quirky Ness you won't get in a standard hotel. Breakfast is a 2 min walk to a local cafe which is set in the shadow of the cathedral. You can eat outside on the old steps as cushions and low tables are set out. Really nice. Luka, the owner is brilliant always on hand. I dropped my phone in his car on the way back to the airport and he returned to the airport to hand it to me. I can't thank him enough.

This hotel was perfect for 2 people! We arranged for airport pickup and everything went very smoothly. The hotel was very clean comfortable. The location is amazing, right in the heart of old town, but not noisy. You can walk everywhere. I highly recommend this place.

The appartment is located in the heart of the Split’s historic centre. Newly furnished, beautifully designed, clean and well kept. Great bed, excellent and quiet sleep. Good wifi, hot water, safe place. Breakfast in a nearby restaurant with spectacular views. Very helpful owner. Will come again!

We had a great time in Split and specially at Pylon Rooms. Luka met us at the parking place and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Because of Covid restrictions the restaurants were all closed, but Luka took us around old town and showed us the open market, Supermarket and the restaurants which we could get food or delivered. Split is beautiful and Pylon Rooms is the right place to stay and enjoy it.

Old City Charm

Location was excellent within the walled old city. Luka was a great host - quick responses, informative and helpful. Room was comfortable but bathroom a bit squeezed though shower was roomy, clean and had good water-pressure.

The Pylon Room was unique and situated right in the walls of the palace. Luka gave an introductory tour explaining where places were and suggesting restaurants and travel agencies, and we were off! We spent a week in Split and Luka checked on us several times, keeping in contact via WhatsApp if not in person. Breakfast at the Luxor every morning gazing at the cathedral and sphinx was an extra delight. There was nothing to improve upon.

3 days in Split

We had a wonderful experience at Pylon Rooms in Split. Luca the manager was excelent, from arranging our car park, assisting with the bags and regualar checks to make sure everything was right. The room was cosy for the two of us and very central located in the old town. It was great. Thanks to Luca and his wife were wonderful.

The Pylon Rooms in Split are a GREAT place to stay!

The Pylon Rooms are situated perfectly. The management are friendly and professional. It is the ideal place to stay when visiting Split.

The apartment was modern but the renovations didn't take away from the historic charm. The stonework was beautiful, the apartment was clean, comfortable, had all the necessary amenities and was in a perfect location, right in the heart of the old city. Absolutely beautiful.

Before even arriving the communications with Luka were superb - he arranged a pick up from the airport to the guesthouse and was attentive throughout - giving us recommendations and keeping in contact with us if needed. We wished to amend our booking slightly and he was more than helpful to accommodate. The room was lovely - so clean and modern with a bottle of wine and refreshments on arrival. The rooms are right in the palace and is stunning! The breakfast included was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Luka for a great stay!

AHHMAZING! Flashback

Luka is amazing! We (couple) loved our room with stones from the 12th century, nestled in the maze of ally ways in old town Split. Just beautiful surroundings and the breakfast included was divine- not at all like European hotel included breakfasts.

Right in the heart of old town, a charming studio apartment type of accommodation. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! Everything was less than a 5 minute walk. The breakfast included was so delicious. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely delightful unique property!

Excellent and unique property in old town. You wouldn't expect such a modern layout and such a nicely kept property. Amazing hospitality! We got a ride to the airport by the owner Luka (we had to pay but it was the same as an Uber). Breakfast next door was amazing!
