Fantastic room, loved the pool just watch out for the sauna area it is nudist but I didnt spot the sign!

I reserved 3 room and did a wrong timing schedule after 1 hour later the reservation,i tried to cancel it because there was 10 days until to wrong schedule.but they refused to refund it.so if you wanna stay that hotel you must know that the money is more important then their customer graditute.try not to do any mistake at that property your mistake can serious lost in that property.

Half Booking cancelled without any notice

We booked 2 hotel rooms under 1 booking. We were told that 1 of the room has been cancelled. It was late checkin and we had no other option to stay. They were full due to some event in Stuttgart. I shared the room with my colleague which was very uncomfortable for both of us. We were tired after a long flight and meetings then st reception it was almost an hour without any solutions. Breakfast was like a cafe , few seats, very limited food. Not happy at all.

Great start would recommend

Outstanding location and the staff was very helpful. Hotel has a convenient parking garage and is right next to the train station so it makes a great home base for your stay in Stutgart. It’s also a great, walkable location for Vaihingen with lots of good food options close by. A couple of things we didn’t love. We stayed in Mid-December and they heat was on FULL blast in the entire hotel for our week there. You simply could not sit comfortably in the hotel it was so hot. Same goes for your room. We stayed at the same time as two other couples and heard the same from them. Even with the heat turned all the way off/down at the thermostat in the room I was sweating all night long every night despite outside temps below freezing every night. You could improve things some if you crack your window but that means trying to sleep through the noise of the train station all night. The room was otherwise comfortable though the beds are quite firm, likely too firm for a lot of folks. Additionally, we looked forward to taking advantage of the spa in the evenings but the hot tub was broken and closed every night we checked. For American visiting, you should be aware that the spa/pool/steam room etc. is a textile-free aka nude zone which is pretty standard for the area, but may be surprising for many. All told, good spot and we’d likely stay again just for the location.

Poor Internet Availability

Internet frequently goes out (I have had this happen on multiple trips). Look elsewhere if you need solid internet connections for work.

Notified staff of safety door lock inoperative and sink problem — neither rectified. Second, no towels. Good location for transportation. Facilities otherwise fine.

Tidy crisp hotel with great service and nice rooms

Tidy hotel, crisp rooms, quiet location. Very convenient to trains, buses, and the town nearby. Not as swanky as other Pullman's, and the breakfast room is too small for the crowd, but excellent buffet selection and good service. Will be back.

Disappointing experience

Swimming pool was too cold and even after informing reception, nothing was done . Super disappointed with the service and rooms at this price point .

The property was clean and the stuff was nice, i personally would have liked being shown around the place eg. where to find the swimming pool and the gym but overall my stay with them was great

Good with many facilities

This hotel is next to the Vaihingen Bahnhpf and Bus Station. There is a very nice park directly across the street that os noce to walk through and to just sit and relax.

Nice Hotel

Great Hotel. Bar had great food and beer and the restaurant was very good as well. Needed to get laundry done and they did have 1 washer and 1 dryer available. A few more are needed but I was thankful to eventually be able to get laundry done.

Comfy, and good location too.

The hotel was overall very good. AC was a bit under-powered, but it did get the job done. My only real complaint was the TV had only a few working channels. Even SWR wasn‘t available. And given the hotel is in the SW of Germany, one would expect that to work at minimum. But then, I wasn‘t in Stuttgart to watch TV 🙂 Lastly, the parking garage exit at the swing gate is tough for larger vehicles. Mine was small so I managed well, but I inevitably (3 out of 3) got behind an SUV that had to do some tight maneuvering to get out of the garage. Basically the swing arm is at a 90 degree angle from where the ticket reader is. Tight, very tight.

We booked two rooms for us and two mature children for one night. Overall the stay was very good. The parking was very tricky as we had a station wagon, extremely difficult turning around inside of the underground parking.

Clean and quiet!

Excellent location next to train station for easy access to transportation.

A good hotel with a nice bar and decent restaurant on site. Expensive food and drinks, but expected. The train station is right out of the front door, which is convenient. There are plenty of dining options in the area within walking distance of you want to sample locally. The hot water went out on my last morning and wasn’t restored by the time I checked out.

Pullman can do better

Parking was pathetic and dangerous. Could not change or modify stay dates. Waiting time for lift was horrible. In total look for other options

I stayed here while on a business trip and found the hotel very clean and staff very helpful. The hotel has great amenities. The only thing I found odd was that housekeeping only seemed to clean up the bedding a bit and not replace the coffee and creamer supplied in the room.

I like the convenience of hopping of the train and taking a few steps to the hotel. It was also roomy, with modern updates in the room.

The check-in at this hotel was unnessarily long and the hotel staff did seem too concerned about getting people checked in quickly. They offer parking but it is underground which would've destroyed my Thule roof box. The hotel is very pet friendly which was great but found it odd that they did not have in water bowls out for the many dogs that arrived and zero rubbish containers on the entire 1st floor. I booked this hotel to be away from congestion of the city but this is a major bus, tram and taxi....great for people needing access into Stuttgart but for us just created more obstacles for parking and getting on our way out to our next destination. Nice hotel but it's due for a renovation soon. Bathrooms were new and clean but overall experince was below expectations for a Pullman.

Average hotel felt over priced

Rooms were really hot, tough to sleep and could not adjust the heating much. Not the best place for the price, ok breakfast.

Very good location next to the metro or s line

The bar and breakfast were great but the parkinglot waa way too small for my car especially in a suburban city.

The property was in a very nice area near transportation and walking distance to nice shops and restaurants.

The reception staff were very disappointing. No smile or welcome on arrival. Check out equally unfriendly. Cleanliness in communal areas could be improved. Beds and breakfast were very good.

Great for convenience

Not the most characterful of places, but clean, very handy for the u-bahn and s-bahn. Check in took a while, but the service was helpful.

How can the aircon of a supposedly 4 star hotel not worked properly? Luckily the staff brought a fan and opened the window. But it became noisy due to the trains…hotel was nice but terrible experience with the aircon!

Stuttgart visit after 3 years.

Nice hotel been 23 years since my last stay there, BIG change from 1995! Will be back in July for another stay!

Good location friendly and helpful staff comfortable clean room and facilities

It was the perfect stay in Germany. You had everything at your finger tips. You had all the transportation at hand, a Mall a block away. The best place to stay to get the real feel of German Culture. We will be staying there again when we come in to visit. Excellent place to stay.

Noise

Great place for the family while visiting Stuttgar

The location was perfect for getting around Stuttgart. The room was very nice and I loved that we were given firm and squishy pillows (I normally have to ask for firm). We had an adjoining suite with the kids. Breakfast was really good and parking was easy. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The Pullman Stuttgart Fontana has an awesome location near the S and U bahn station making for really easy access to down town Stuttgart and the beautiful surrounding area. The hotel is in the process of being renovated but the rooms are comfortable and clean. You can walk into the small town which has some good dining options and shops. I would definitely stay again and recommend it if you want a stay close to but not in the main city of Stuttgart

We always stay there when we travel to Stuttgart. Train and UBahn are right there next to the Hotel which make it very easy to get around.

Far from perfect

I booked the hotel for it’s close proximity to the station, which was perfect. When booking it would have been good to know that the restaurant was closed for a private function and that refurbishment works were ongoing. A/C in the room only blew out warm air despite being set to the lowest setting, so had a hot and uncomfortable night until opening the window to hear the noise from the station. Smoke detector removed from room for some reason? Breakfast was good. Reception was understaffed, with only one person on duty causing a queue to form at checkin and 15 minute wait.

Great hotel with very easy access to Stuttgart, the airport and surrounding area. Will definitely stay again next time we visit this wonderful part of Germany!

Not bad but not great.

Air conditioning was promoted on Hotels.com but was not functioning in the room. Reported twice to staff and obtained no resolution within 9-day stay. Had to purchase a fan to get through stay during hot summer days. The parking garage requires an L-shaped exit path so longer vehicles had to be extremely careful to avoid scraping the walls and posts upon exiting paid parking. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Check with front desk before ordering room service. Pet friendly. Bathroom was cramped and shower faucet is unfortunately and inconveniently placed if you don’t want bruises on your legs.

we stayed there because we needed a stay-vacation with a pool. i enjoyed the pool area, so it met my minimal needs. On top of that, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

Outdated Rooms

We had a 1 night stay at the Pullmann Stuttgart. 4 stars are not fitting for this Hotel. It looks very aged ... old furniture, service staff seems unmotivated and is not problem solved driven. We reserved non smoking rooms - unfortunately it seemed that only smoking rooms where available. We felt like it’s our fault not to be smokers. At the end they found non smoking rooms after some complaining. From the attitude and service the male staff clearly needs training. The Rooms need def an upgrade. See the images attached. I would not recommend to stay there again.

Nice hotel

Very good location, right next to the subway and close to shopping/restaurants. Unfortunately, someone else had been booked into one of our rooms and it took a while to get this figured out, but the front desk staff were apologetic and did offer us complimentary drinks to compensate for the time spent waiting. The rooms were nice and we appreciated the hot pot for hot chocolate and coffee.

Hotel is in need of refurbishment - it is looking quite tired. Nonetheless, brilliant service, great gym and pool, very friendly staff and a decent restaurant. Good for business travellers

Perfect location in the middle of Stuttgart, Böblingen/Sindelfingen, Echterdingen and Leonberg, close to the motorway crossing Stuttgart. Right next to the train station that allows fast trips to the city center of Stuttgart . Quiet location near a small park. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast buffet.

Very comfortable.

The facilities were very nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and the evening bartender was friendly, cheery and a delight.

Stuttgart Pullman

The Pullman Hotel in Stuttgart is first class. The staff are all bilingual and very helpful. Extremely convenient to the Vaihingen train stop. Also a hub for local bus service. Beautiful park across the street. Short walk to local shopping and dining.

The property was convenient to the Stuttgart Messe. A negative is there was only one iron in the entire hotel.

Some employees were doing an excellent service - some others had to be called and reminded on the orders made....

Best Hotel

Amazing place to stay.

I paid for the room AND breakfast ahead of time since it was going to be my husband's birthday getaway with our son. When my husband went to check in, he was asked if the room was paid for already, so he sent me a text message, and then he was told that breakfast was extra, in which he stated "I believe it was paid for already", so the person checked on the computer and apparently found that it was true. How is this possible, how can one pay for the room and breakfast and the hotel not know that? If my husband didn't message me, he would have paid for the room and breakfast twice. I don't think that's acceptable.

Decent Hotel

A good business hotel although lots of room for improvement. Hotel is in a pretty good location, literally beside an S-bahn and U-bahn station making transport to the city / airport easy. While certain aspects of the hotel, such as the bed in the room, have recently been refurbished, the hotel in general looks tired and is in need of refurbishment. Room was of a good size and bed was extremely comfortable. Service was okay at best - check-in and check-out (especially check-out) was extremely slow. Not a bad option for Stuttgart but could be better.

Lovely hotel and a great location for the airport and the city. Pool great and service was really good.

Convenient and friendly

Good location (just off motor way), Comfort bed, comprehensive toiletries, very friendly and supportive staff, facilities look good (haven’t got chance to use SPA etc). Close to local restaurants and high street. A fuel station nearby that has very reasonable price. Accept dogs and a well maintained park just opposite to the hotel.

Great location! I chose this hotel because it’s beside the Vaihingen Bahnhof (and still remarkably quiet) and I could easily go everywhere I wanted without renting a car. There was also a nice park across from the hotel. The staff was friendly, the room clean and well equipped.

Nice Stay

The hotel lived up to my expectations. The room was clean and good sized; the same for the bathroom. Internet was a little slow, but nothing to bad.

Very nice hotel, good location for travel into the city being right next to the S-bahn and Tram. Minor issues with internet connection a bit slower than expected.

Five Stars for Pullman Fontana

The Pullman Fontana is an excellent hotel. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant has excellent food, average priced for Europe..

Great hotel. Great facilities. Beer selection at the bar is lacking...should include a lager as well. Breakfast was crazy expensive at $30. Rooms are great. beds comfy. Showers fine. Convenient to public transportation and a short walk to several decent restaurants.

Hotel location next to Bahn station, very convenient for those who don’t drive. However the local area does not have any shop nearby.

Convenient for public transport

We chose this hotel for its convenient location for public transport to and from the airport and the city centre, but it turned out to be a comfortable place to stay with friendly and efficient staff (not only on the front desk but also cleaners etc). We were on 9th floor with striking view over Vaihingen and the station immediately below - but not noisy because of efficient windows. Bathroom a step-in bath shower so might be a problem with arthritis (we are getting near the age when we think of these things) but otherwise plenty of space, clean towels etc. Didn't use the spa area other than the swimming pool where I enjoyed an early morning swim and used their towels which are left folded on the loungers - unfortunately I couldn't fit in more than one swim! However, one big negative - the price of breakfast! We think 24 Euros is a lot no matter how extensive the buffet is! Just how much can you eat to get your money's worth? We breakfasted twice in the hotel because of other commitments but went a couple of times to a cafe in Vaihingen itself - walk across the little park, direction Vaihingen Market, until you come to a main road and then glance to your left and you will see the Schwaben Gallerie shopping centre, there you will find a reasonable coffee and croissants and juice for about 10 Euros.

Great place to stay!

The Pullman is such a great place to stay.The facility is fairly modern and very well maintained. It's in a great location - next to the train station (yet it's quiet) and a park across the street and the town on the other side of the park - less than a five minute walk. The other two directions are very nice residential areas - great if you like to run or walk. It's a beautiful area. All that by itself would make the Pullman a very good place to stay But what truly makes the Pullman great is its staff. The staff, particularly the front desk crew, is outstanding!

I mostly like the location because there are restaurants and a small mall near by. Their rooms are so spacious and nice. Love their friendly employees and their restaurant has great food. I recommend the Ribeye steak, Chicken club sandwich with a fried egg and the Caesar salad with shrimp(additional fee).

A Great Place to Stay

The Pullman is a very nice facility in a very good location. However, what makes the Pullman truly special is its staff. The staff of the Pullman, and especially the crew at the front desk, is unquestionably the finest I've ever come across in my 40+ years of travel. They are outstanding and they are why I always thoroughly enjoy staying at the Pullman.

Our experience was wonderful except for the air conditioning not working for most of our stay. Our room faced the afternoon sun which did not help the with the heat.

A delightful hotel

This was a great hotel, close to the tram-line for ease of access to Stuttgart. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. My stay included breakfast which, was self-service from a wide selection of continental or cooked options. My room was a double on the tenth floor. Its was very comfortable and exceptionally quiet. This was a delightful hotel in a quiet district. Would I stay stay there again - absolutely.

Advertised shuttle to airport but there wasn't one. Got single and double rooms mixed up and claimed they didn't.

Beautiful and spacious room

It was a great stay. The room was beautiful and spacious. The hotel was right across the street from the train station, very convenient.

They have a small swimming pool and my child went there every night. Many other children were enjoying there as well. Staff are nice and friendly, fluent in English.

The hotel is very convenient as it is next to the train station and the area is a 5 minute walk to nice restaurants. The temperature was hard to control but the room and bedding were nice.

Quality Hotel outside the centre of Stuttgart

The hotel is very good. Nice welcome at reception and our room was clean with comfortable beds.Staff very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the Spa facilities which had plenty of space for relaxing and also booked a massage which was amazing. The Hotel was quiet at night which was great as we stayed during the New Year celebrations.
